Hi, I'm Michael and have had a decent amount of experience in shared housing. I consider myself and extrovert, often finding myself socialising in my free time, going to the gym and producing music and DJing is also a hobby of mine. I'm always up for a laugh, a whiskey or two on the weekend, I keep clean and I respect other's privacy which isn't hard for me to read as I'm aware that it' important for everyone. I work random hours (mostly days) and can often be random in my line of work, though it does keep me busy, I always keep myself busy on the days I don't work as I find it hard to stay home during the day. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to get in touch and thanks for your time for reading this post. Cheers, Michael.
friendly clean kind hearted down to earth... hi I'm faye I'm 32 working part time and have full time care of my daughter ruby. Ruby's 3 almost 4 she is a really cool kid who has a huge personality and is lots of fun to be around, even people who arent generally kid type people, seem to fall in love with her! we also have a small cat which ideally we will be able to bring with us to a new place but can explore other options if need be. ideally I would like to find another female to secure a house with together which is bit enough for us both to bring our own things and set it up as home for us all without either parties feeling like we are living in the others home if that makes sense. obviously having a young child I'm cautious about who I live with I would prefer to live just my daughter and I but unfortunatly its starting to feel near impossible to secure a home alone based on my income. open to speaking or meeting with anyone and seeing what oppintunites are out there, so if you read my ad and think we sound like the kind of roomies you are after or would like to explore searching for a place together dont be shy give me a call kind regards faye
Hi there! My name is Jacinta and I am a 30 year old childcare worker in the Essendon area. My lease is up on the 20th if January so I would ideally like to move a week or two before that if possible but I am flexible if a great place becomes available a little earlier. I am mainly looking for an unfurnished room somewhere close by to anywhere along the 59 tram, so mainly niddrie, airport west, start of Tullamarine and Essendon . I do have a car but being in the area just makes live easier being close to work and getting to and from the city for any adventures . I would love big bedroom with an en-suite but we can’t have everything I guess so a decent sized bedroom in a share house or a new team up would be great! I am looking for a nice place with nice people! I work Monday - Friday with occasional babysitting on week nights and weekends. I’m fairly often out and about after work depending on which shift I work (anywhere between 6:30am -6:30pm) so I can be over at my boyfriends place once or twice a week and hope that he would be welcome over once or twice a week. He is very nice and chill and easy to get along with😃 I would mostly call myself an outgoing introvert if that makes any sense. Once I get to know people and am comfortable I can be fairly outgoing, though I do like my personal space and hope others can respect that as I would for any future housemates. I love any type of entertainment really so I love going to concerts and the movies as well as watching movies and tv shows at home. I’m originally from Ballarat so I occasionally head back that way as well as go and see my sister in the northern suburbs. I have kitchen pots and pans etc, a fridge, microwave, washing machine but those are easily sold or put in storage I guess if there’s no room for them. If there is anything else you would like to know feel free to message me.
G'day. Looking for a move north to escape city traffic. Currently working full time Monday to Friday, generally find something to do most evenings. Pretty easy going, hardly phased by much. Keen for a chat or a beer with housemates from time to time, although can respect privacy when needed.
I am a very simple liver, I love cooking but I hardly cook for myself, i am extremely easy going except if I’m in a house full of party people or lazy people; then I’m not so easy going! Other than that i am nice and i love a good cleaning day. I come with a dyson vacuum (always a positive), a beautiful dogue de Bordeaux (cuddly French mastiff) and always enjoy a glass of red and quiet movie night to spend the day outside on sunday or at the gym. I work in disability employment services, which i love, and have time for everyone!
I am 31 and work full time in Real Estate. I am easy going, friendly and clean. I like to cook occasionally and have a cat that stays indoors for majority of the time. I am single and a non smoker but require a car space. I am looking for a room unfurnished that fits a queen size bed and close to the city around the Essendon/ Moonee Ponds area. If you think I would be a good match for your place please send me a message. Happy hunting 😊
Hey everyone! I’m Lisa, I’m 29 and I’ve relocated from Adelaide to Melbourne to start a new job with Virgin Australia. I’ll have a lot of early starts so I’ll always do my best to keep the noise down! I have a beautiful staffy, her name is Lexi and I’m looking for a place/housemates that would be comfortable with having her around. She’s playful, cuddly and energetic. Ideally I’d like her to be part of the family in the instance I may be away for work for a night or two, my housemates wouldn’t mind giving her some love and attention. I understand she’s ultimately my responsibility so if it wasn’t possible, I’d look at putting her in boarding if I’m away overnight. As she has some anxiety issues with other dogs, It would be best if she was the only pet in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before in Adelaide and in London so I’m respectful and considerate and know to clean up after myself. While I sometimes enjoy “me” time, I’m a very social person and would love to hang out with my housemates and hopefully will build more of a friendship rather than just be people living together. I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, sport, movies and keeping fit and active. Pilates and spin classes are my go to! If me and my pooch sound like we’d make a great housemate, send me a message! I’m ideally looking to find a place by the end of January 2019
Hi, Ki is working full time as a HR practitioner in Tullamarine MJ is a full time student who is only down to Melbourne every now and then + during uni holidays. She will be looking for work and will be working most of the time as well, she has extensive experience as barista and a bar person. WE mostly stick to ourselves, but happy to share some drinks together too! Happy to stay longer for the right place and people.
Hello! I have currently been living in student accommodation for the past 2 years, but looking for something to share. I’m studying full time and have a part time job at a chemist. I am friendly, out going and happy to have a chat, coffee and a catch up but also love my privacy and alone time. I am also very clean and tidy. Would preferably like to be close to public transport. Let me know if you’re interested :) Bonnie

We are looking for a place preferably close to any local transport line considering we currently don't own a car; We love sharing our space with a few fur babies, so if you do have pets, that's a bonus!! We mostly cook and relax at home on days off so a common area would be great too! :))
Laid back eady going clean and tidy. Like time by myself and love to socialise. Love cooking red wine BBQs travelling and anything chinese. Studying chinese at the moment.

Hi I'm James I'm a born and raised Melbournian I have just finished a Bachelor of Music and a fill in role for the last 6 months as a Music Tech Officer for VU. I have decided to go down a very different road with my career aspirations, so I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Aviation, in hopes to become a Commercial Pilot. I'm looking to move out of my current family home. I, however, have lived in America for several months last year, so I'm not completely "untrained", haha. My hobbies include Music (playing guitar), going to the gym, gaming (nothing too hard core just for fun), AFL (Go Tigers) and aviation. I love myself some coffee also. I would consider myself to be fairly low maintenance and approachable (especially after coffee). I look forward to and hope to hear about you and some of your life experiences :) Cheers
*currently not in Melbourne for the time being, hence mobile phone is inactive. I will be back by the 4th of January.* Hi peeps, I’m looking to stay around the Essendon area for 6 months as I will be working there for the time being. I am currently a full-time student but recently received an internship to work within that region. I respect people’s living space and generally get along with others (if you can tolerate my ocassional dry sense of humour) and you wouldn’t have to worry about dirty dishes as I clean up after myself. I enjoy music and play the guitar and piano myself, so it would be cool if anyone is keen to jam along. I am open to people with different backgrounds and cultures. In fact, I find it fascinating to learn more about them, especially given that Melbourne is very multicultural. I am looking forward to find any future flat/housemates willing to share a space with me! 谢谢 🙏
I'm an engineer by trade working in environment for a mining company. Mostly office based in Southbank, but get out to site once in a while. Enjoy watching/playing sports & fitness, most weeknights spent in the gym! Enjoy going out for a drink and socialising. Quirks include a passion for 80's metal and an interest in chess. Other than that, mostly grown up in Melbourne and love it...pretty sure I'm going to die here! Mainly looking for someone I would get along with to share a place - this is more important to me than location or the place itself :)
Hey everyone! I am a 29 year old teacher looking to move to the area around January (my current lease is up in February so am slightly flexible). I enjoy keeping fit, Netflix, eating and all the stock standard things. I keep it pretty low key during the week, usually going to gym after work and having an early night. Weekends I’m either out and about or doing some work from home. I’m happy keeping to myself but open to hanging out with my housemates too. Would love an ensuite, but this isn’t necessary. Let me know if you have anything available :)
Golf enthusiast, beginner wine collector, foodie, love being active and the outdoors. Have lived in London for two years, fairly travelled and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. After a place close to the CBD with hopefully a car parking spot. Have furniture and bicycle. Focussing on my professional side of life atm but looking forward to exploring more of Melbourne. Can’t wait to be in the heart of footy life and enjoy all things food and sport. Love pets and animals - I just don’t have one. Have my own investment property so I have first hand experience in being responsible for all things house related and would treat the house with the utmost respect and care.
I am friendly, fun, tidy and organised I like spending time with people but also time on my own. I am divorced and have a 16 year old son Jackson whom stays with me every second week and a very friendly Jack Russel X named Abbey who loves a cuddle and is a great watch dog. I have just sold my house in ascot vale and am looking for something close by which has 2 rooms available. Need to move in mid January 19.

Hey guys! I'm a country girl, living by myself in an apartment in aberfeldie the past year, and have rented the last 4-5 years with housemates. I am currently working as a health care professional and I have my own car. I dont mind a cheeky wine and socialising, but I am definitely not your party girl. As well as being social, I do enjoy my own space and will always respect yours too. I am ideally looking for people who are similar. I am currently renting a one bedroom unit independently in Aberfeldie (Yes! Expensive). I am looking for something cheaper so I can save, meet new people and have more of a life haha. I am looking for a unfurnished bedroom. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I come with a fridge, T.V, washing machine, couch and coffee table and some household items. Let me know if you don't wish for these items to come with me, I can always arrange something else with them. My lease finishes 18th of Jan, ideally would like to find someone or a place to move in before that time. Feel free to message me too, there are so many listings and I may have just missed yours.
Currently living in Essendon with an awesome flatmate who is leaving for the UK early next year to live out her dreams. That means I have to move out sometime before then, preferably Early January, sooner if something awesome is available. About me - I'm a 24 y.o. full-time digital designer for a printing company, working often 6 days per week. I'm a clean and respectful person, and I'm out and about for most of the week. I get along with pretty much any person or pet, I'm always up for a chat and love animals. I'm keen to live pretty much anywhere that is within 30 mins of my work commute to Thomastown, provided it is a nice home in a friendly neighborhood. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Hello! I'm an Animal Studies graduate who's planning to do a certificate in Companion Animal Services next year. I have two rats, Mono and Paprika. They're old, beautiful and sleepy. If you have an animal, or more than one, I could take care of them while you're away. I'm hoping to find a housemate who's able to do the same for me. The rats are caged and easy to care for. I set up automatic payments so my rent goes through effortlessly. I'm happy to help around the house as I'm generally clean, tidy and organised. It may be obvious, but I want to live with more animals. I like open communication, dumpster diving, recycling and relaxing. It would be cool if you do too. Please message me if you think you might have a suitable place!
I'm a 25-year-old lawyer originally from Hobart. I moved to Melbourne in October so I'm still fairly fresh off the boat. I'm very into dogs, breakfast, coffee, Netflix, reading and whiskey. I also enjoy pottering in the garden and attempting to grow plants (sadly with varying degrees of success). Much to my dismay, work requires me to wake up early, so I'd like to live with people who keep similar hours through the week. I'm not too obsessive but I like a clean house and do my share.
I am looking for friendly accommodation with like minded people. I've been living in Melbourne for just over a year, and I love this city, and wish to explore more of it. I'm currently studying contemporary and jazz music performance. I also perform around Melbourne and work part time.
Friendly and easy going person who works full-time. I enjoy quiet time at home but are also happy with a chat. I also have hobbies and go out so wouldn't be home too much. I'm looking for a mature flatmate that works and has their own life but is also friendly and easy going.
