Hello :) we are a young couple from Manchester in the UK. We are currently travelling Australia and have just returned from the Eyre Peninsula where we have dived with great whites, sea lions and dolphins. We are currently looking for jobs in Adelaide until the end of January. We would make great flatmates, as we are clean and tidy and are hoping to work for the majority of the time in Adelaide. However, we do enjoy exploring (including the local bars!) and therefore love flatmates who would like to occasionally show us the city! But we are also happy to keep to ourselves. We are recent students so know that a quiet household would sometimes be necessary.
Hi there! I have been in Australia about 5 years and I just arrived in Adelaide 2 days ago. I’m very friendly, easy-going, positive, clean and tidy. I’m looking a nice place to enjoy and relax in my free time after work ;).
Hi, I'm Courtney and I work full-time as Communications and Marketing Manager for a not for profit. I work Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. During the week I like to keep it low-key cooking, chilling at home with some Netflix or a quick dinner with friends/family. On the weekends I like to get out as much as I can, hit the markets, brunch and drinks but don't mind a quiet weekend in either.
I am studying Hospitality at UniSA City West campus. I really like meeting new people and having a chat. I also give enough space when required. I work as a food tour guide which is my part-time job. I have been in Australia for 3 years now so know pretty much how everything functions. I'm very academic oriented so during study periods and busy periods at uni I would usually not be at home or would be locked up in my room studying for hours. However, I also like unwinding with a couple of drinks or just a good dinner with friends. I am clean, quiet and enjoy my own space and respect others' privacy.
Hello! I'm a friendly, considerate human lookong for some pals to live with. I have a little kitty cat who keeps to himself indoors. I work as a nurse full-time so I don't generally sit around the house that much. I live in Kensington right now but I'd love to move to somewhere west/north so I'm close to work. I love cooking meals with people and sharing stories and hanging out, but I also enjoy spending time with myself, just recouping after a long shift. I'd be happy to move in to a pre-existing share house or get some people together to move in to a new place to rent. I have plenty of my own furniture currently as I live alone, but I'd be happy to sell some of it if there's limited space.
ABOUT ME: I'm a 21-year-old student working part time in a bookshop. I love reading, op-shopping, cooking, and sewing. Away from uni and work I enjoy camping, travelling, heading out for a hike or trying a new brekky spot. I've recently started pottery classes and bought a pair of rollerskates so those are two new hobbies! I'm tidy and clean, very rarely one for a big night, and definitely a considerate person to live with. I'd love to be friends with my housemates, but also need my own space and would respect your space too. I value open communication and respect. I'm vegan but have no issue sharing a house with people who aren't. ABOUT YOU AND THE HOUSE (ideally): Close to the city (for uni), and Norwood (for work). Your house is your home and you're tidy and respectful of shared spaces. You're not a huge partier, but happy to occassionally hang out and share a drink or meal at the end of a long day. You don't smoke inside and aren't racist/homophobic/any of that yuckiness. Your household is environmentally-conscious. Bonus points for lots of natural light and high ceilings!
I work in the city for a non-for-profit organisation. I'm pretty sociable, easy-going and respect others and their space. I enjoy most things outdoors (hiking, camping, fishing, outdoor sports), cooking, reading, dancing, and going out to dinner/drinks with friends. I like trying new hobbies and keen for anything that screams out adventure. I also love travelling but who doesn't :) just got back from a 6 weeks Europe trip. Any questions, fire away. I would enjoy living with mature, open-minded, sociable people who respect each others space and time, cleans up after themselves and are generally easy-going and lovely human beings.
I adapt well with the current vibe of the house, can be social, can keep to myself. I'm organised and tidy, like to cook and share meals. Lead a pretty active lifestyle with something on most evenings. Prefer to share spacr with other people around my age. Settling in Adelaide for a bit, potentially up until March as my visa expires then.
Hi, I am a master student at UniSA. I am an easy going, cheerful and laid back person. I am very clean and respectful. I am happy to have a chat with people but respect your space.
I am from Delhi, India. Masters student at Uni Adelaide. I have a vibrant personality, I love to meet new people. In my free time, I write blogs, do food blogging or sing.
Hi, we are Tyron and Bethanie, two friends (and a cat) who are looking to team-up to start a new rental property in January. Tyron is 22 years old and is currently studying at uni. When he isn't studying, he is working at a liquor store and practicing making cocktails. In his spare time he loves to relax and play some games, and recently bought a switch. If you like casual drinks and playing smash bros then he's your guy. Bethanie is 21 and studying art. For work she is a swim teacher (no she won't teach you how to swim). When she has some spare time she loves making things, such as candles, and looking after her cat. She might have some projects around the house, so if you're ok with having art here and there, she is the housemate for you. We are looking for housemates that are kind and communicate, just generally decent people. We would love to be able to hang out at the end of a long week together, and have a generally happy and friendly household. As mentioned earlier, we do have a cat (called Moritz), so if you are allergic or aren't a big fan of cats, this might not be the place for you. Hopefully we hear from you soon!
I have recently moved out of home and am looking for a room in a sharehouse/granny flat/studio either with or without my partner (24, male, ballroom dance instructor) - moving in ASAP. Apart from the occasional bit of singing or guitar-playing I'm a relatively quiet person who would happily get involved in household activities or keep to myself depending on what's preferred. I'm currently working 5-6 days a week at a cafe and I have the capacity to go busking whenever time permits as well. I am really flexible and adaptable when it comes to living arrangements, would love a tidy home with friendly, young-ish people but would also be happy to live in almost any home so long as it is clean and I have my own little space to nest in. Furnished is preferred - can spend around $200-250/week max. - WiFi and carpark not essential, just need easy access to public transport as I don't drive.
