Hi folks I'm looking for a for a suitable accommodation in Hobart. Most times I´m working and studying but at home I like to talk to flatmates as well as respect their privacy. I´m neat and tidy so I´d like to live with similar people. Well a little about me: I like sports, playing guitar (but I don´t have one now), travelling and videogames. I look forward to hearing from you Cheers
I'm a friendly, easy-going student who loves to make new friends and hang out. I am currently studying my Bachelor of Business (majoring in Marketing and Tourism) at the University of Tasmania. I enjoy yoga, hiking, travelling, cooking, running and going to gigs. I love to keep my space tidy, and always clean up after myself. I am looking for a share house that is close (if possible) to the university, with a friendly atmosphere and interesting housemates.
My name is Kedar and I'm male, aged 21 from India. I am studying my Masters in Environmental Management at UTAS and complete the course at the end of next year. I consider myself social, although Uni is often busy and sometimes I am a bit quiet. I am clean and tidy and very respectful of other people’s space. Ideally, I am looking to sign a medium-term (1-2 years) lease for a single room in a neat and tidy house, with good public transport accessibility. I am ready to move in at the start of September, but I’m quite flexible with this. A decent Wi-fi connection is also a must. I'm creative, especially musically and I enjoy the occasional jam. Although it’s just as a hobby, I have a little home studio to record and make music. I also spend a bit of time in the kitchen, though I do not consider myself an expert by any means. Just like anybody, I enjoy a good shared meal and conversation and even the occasional drink. When time permits, I often look to gardening combining this with my love for cooking. Recently, I have been making changes to be more sustainable and it’s a massive bonus if the people I live with have similar values. I love animals, having done some zoology in my undergrad and am extremely comfortable around them. In summer, my love for nature often drives me out of home and I enjoy adventuring, bush-walking, swimming and looking for cool wildlife and plants. I currently work part-time, working in online customer support for a scholarly writing platform called Authorcafe, that helps students and lecturers collate and publish research. I volunteer when I can find the time, helping UTAS students and lecturers with their projects. Since my parent live back in India, I have good experiences living in sharehouses having lived with people from many cultures and backgrounds, including Australian. This will be my 4th year in a sharehouse. I am therefore quite independent and experienced in sharing houses.
We are both from the Netherlands. We have been together for 10 years and starting our new life in Tasmania. We are quiet, though like a chat but will mostly keep to ourselves. We are looking to share a house with people who value cleanliness and hygiene. We are looking for a double room in a share house anywhere not too far from the centre of Hobart.
I am a good gardener and cook! I love to hangout with awesome people and share stories over dinner and drinks. Ill cook you yummy meals and hope to have communal dinners with my house mates. I enjoy board games, being outdoors, and farming! Im really clean and approachable and a nice all round guy :)
Hi, may name is Todd. I moved to Hobart a short time ago and the accommodation I had is about to become unavailable. Looking for something from 1 month to long term. I am very very clean. I do work for the government so have current Police checks and working with vulnerable people cards. I am pretty quiet and I travel up north a lot of weekends. I love watching live music and eating out.
I'm turning 28 and rarely go to loud parties. I respect privacy and boundaries but also enjoy good conversations at home and sharing stories. I've worked in education and tech companies. I've lived in USA and China, and loved traveling to different countries. I'm relatively new to Tasmania but love it a lot so plan to stay here for longer. Now, I'm taking a course in Hobart city center as a student. I'm into psychology, philosophy, meditation, podcasts, classical music, old European films, and being close to nature. I try to maintain a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle. I'm looking for a place where I can have my own space but also the company of good people who share similar values. I love dogs so would love to live with dog owners. Don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions:)
Hello, I have recently moved to Hobart to start a new job. I work as a health professional in the city and I am also doing postgraduate study in Medicines Management at UTAS. I am looking for a share-house or to take on a lease (house or unit) in the central Hobart area. I am a friendly, clean and considerate person with good communication skills. I would like to live in a location where I can walk or cycle to work - Sandy Bay, West Hobart, South Hobart, North Hobart and Battery Point are good areas. I am ideally looking for a medium or large bedroom with some sunlight. Furnished or unfurnished is fine. I would prefer long-term and I am willing to pay up to about $260 pw rent for a good sharehouse, and more for the lease on a unit or house. I live a healthy lifestyle. I'm a qualified yoga teacher and I do yoga every morning. I like to recycle and use enviro-friendly cleaning products. I am creative and enjoy playing my flute occasionally. I especially like getting out into nature for a bush walk. I enjoy having good conversations with housemates, and I also also appreciate quiet time and space. I don't mind dogs but I absolutely love cats - if you have a cat that would be a plus! :) I hope to hear from you.
Hi, Ideally I'd like to rent a two bedroom unit with one other cat lover (I have a middle-aged cat named George) or to join an established share house anywhere from Margate to New Town/Moonah. I am open-minded, green-minded, in my 40s, love music, like questioning the status quo, and care about people and the world we live in :-). I don't care about Wifi and wouldn't get it connected if we got a lease (don't care for Netfix etc too). I am quite quiet, but I am not into a fully soulless non-interactive household :-)
