Hello! I'm Emily. I'm almost 29 years old. And, I will be doing post-grad coursework at the University of Melbourne starting in July. I'm so excited to be moving to Melbourne! About me: born in Alabama but lived most of my adult life in California, former U.S. Navy, love to: cook, read, run and hit the weight room, ride and work on motorcycles (yes, you read that correctly), travel, listen to music, see plays/shows, watch movies, enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, and I'm slightly pilates obessed. I'm responsible, financially stable and independent, health-conscious (non-smoker, mostly vegetarian diet), respectful of privacy, clean and organized 1) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! CARLTON, FITZROY, NORTH CARLTON, NORTH MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK EAST, PARKVILLE and COLLINGWOOD. Short walk/public transit commute to the University of Melbourne and near free tram zone. Would love to be in a location close to coffee, a great gym and shopping, you know all the good stuff. 2) I study at home (mainly me staring at a laptop and writing far too much), so I need a private bedroom with enough space for a desk too. And though I like to socialize occassionally, I am looking for a relaxing space with ideally no more than 3 other flatmates total. A private bathroom would be nice, but I'm willing to share a bathroom with 1 other person. I've lived with couples, all girls and mixed guy/girl houses. Overall, I actually think mixed houses are the most fun, but I'm open to living with pretty much anyone who is genuine and respectful of space and privacy. Housing must have internet/internet capability and a laundry washing machine. Big, nice kitchen. Hopefully, some bit of communal garden, patio or outdoor space. Willing to go up to $400 a week for the right spot, but price must match quality. 3) My program is 1.5 years,so if I found the right spot, I'd be happy to stay longer than 6 months. Though I will not have any pets, I love animals! So, if you have a house-trained doggy or kitty, I'm totally fine with it. Would love for my housemates to become good friends. And will someone please teach me how Aussie Rules Football works! I'm dying to see some games and learn about the sport. I ask that any housemates be respectful, responsible and clean up after themselves and, I will hold myself with the same standards. Thank you taking the time to read this and consider me! :)
Hey! looking for a room in a house preferably with just one other person. Working full time professional (33) moved over from Perth late last year. Hi there. : ) My name’s Kim, I’m 31 years old and I’m from Korea. I'm an Art director and am currently working on a film here in Melbourne. I’ve also made 6 films back in Korea. I love to travel! I've been to 31 countries. I enjoy trekking, working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I like to think I'm a reliable, energetic, easygoing and curious girl who wants to experience heaps of new things! I'm a neat and tidy person, and I always clean up after myself. : ) I would love to check out the place ASAP, and I’m able to move in straight away. Thank you : )
I've been in Melbourne for four years now - I grew up in Adelaide and spent a year in Sydney between. Ex-lawyer now working in payment tech for events, so if you like a good show, I've always got some tickets to share. In my spare time I run some industry passion projects, as well as am a freelance writer. I'm getting into a work out habit, so bonus points if that's your forte. I've been living in share houses for a few years so I'm respectful and used to the deal. I'm clean, reliable and pay things on time. Always down to share a meal with housemates, grab a beer or keep it quiet. All I need in a housemate is someone who's tidy, reliable with bills and drama free. I'm looking for ideally a house but will settle on an apartment with the right people. Some outdoor space would be great! I have a car so included parking would be ideal.
Hi there, I'm a french man coming to live in Australia. My girlfriend is from Melbourne which is the main reason of my presence here :) but I'm looking for a flat for myself only. Being under the working holiday visa status I'll be looking for a temporary consulting mission until I can get a permanent residency. I've lived in shared flat for 7 years in different countries with people from all around the world. I can speak fluent French, Spanish and English. I've always enjoyed sharing moment with my flatmates: have dinner, drinks, go out at night, have a chill Sunday run to get the body back on track for Monday morning or even reggaeton flat cleaning sessions. I'm always ready for a good laugh, I love cooking heartwarming dishes and decorate the house with funky stuff! I'll be available from the 24th of April to come and see the flat. Cheers, Antoine
I'm a private, but really nice, genuine guy who pays bills on time, am mostly flexible with things and easy to get along with. I'm open to anyone to live with as long as they are accepting and are clean and not noisy. :)
Hey! We're two psychology students from Norway who are going to study at University of Melbourne for one semester (from July to November). We've been friends since we started studying at University of Bergen in 2014. Vivian is very tidy and clean, and Anders is also tidy and clean most of the time hehe :) We're both very sociable, caring and love having fun. Of course, we're also serious students. Occasionally... It's kind of difficult to tell you what we like to do, because we're both interested in culture, news, politics, technology and so on. We're just really adaptable, and willing to try new things. We're the kind that can stay home an evening to watch movies, go on a full night party or even a hiking trip. The keyword is "variety"! We're not going to be in Melbourne until the start of July, but would love to move in to the flat as soon as possible. We would love an apartment with two bedrooms for ourselves, but we don't mind sharing flats with other likeminded people either! The most important part is that the flat is at a convenient distance from the university, is clean and tidy and at a convenient price! We're willing to pay around 400$ pw each of us. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about us! Best regards, Anders and Vivian
Hi there! My cousin and I are both independent adults where we both share the same opinion about optimism and positivism. We want to achieve both our goals in life in a positive way and we empower and encourage everyone around us to be their own self and throw away all the negativity in life. We are both international students from the Philippines (you can expect goodies from back home or you can go with us for a vacation and visit the wonders & fun back home) and are both studying here for quite awhile, probably 2-3 years most. We're currently looking for jobs but you don't have to worry on how we pay rent (our parents kindly told us they'll pay for the few months while we are looking and searching for jobs). I can also assure that chores won't be a hassle as we also help participate in cleaning and all that jazz. We are pretty much flexible and let's work together to make our stay fun and positive all the way!! P.S. It would be nice too if its near a bus and train station since we both can't drive at the moment.
I'm very open minded keen on new adventures and very easy going clean and respectful of others , on my path of self discovery very lbgti freindly
**Looking for two rooms** We are fun lads who split our week by uni, part-time work, hitting the gym and the occasional Saturday night out. We are clean, respectful and responsible. 100% guarantee on the rent being on time. (covered by youth allowance and parents as guarantors) Looking to move in order to be closer to university as we are both currently commuting around 2 hours from Geelong.
Hello! This is Debjit Bhowmick (27) from Kolkata, India. I will be arriving in Melbourne with my wife Anwesha (24) on 26 April to pursue my doctoral studies from The University of Melbourne. We are friendly, respectful, tolerant people. We are non-smokers. We are always up for occasional chit-chats. We are clean and tidy, so you don't have to worry about the apartment getting messy because of us. We respect people's privacy, so won't be irritating you. We will be able to inspect or give an interview only after 26 April (if that is needed). We are in need of a place to stay. Your apartment could be our dream 'home away from home'.
I am a hardworking English girl looking for a place to call home. I’m big into fitness so in my spare time I will be at the gym and working. I’m quite independent but do like to socialise to and chill out. I’m on the search for a room for myself. Looking ideally as close to CBD as possible because that’s where I work. I would like the apartment to be modern, clean and furnished ideally. I’m ready to move in as early as possible and can transfer bond and sign any written agreement for the transfer.
Hey there! My name is Minnah! I’m looking to move into a share house for a minimum of six months, with some sort of parking (on or off street, I’m not fussed!) I’m looking to move around mid May but a week earlier or later would be fine as well! I am a full time student studying Film and Media at RMIT, I also work part time as a flight attendant. I am an easygoing, clean and respectful housemate. I'm a pretty social person, however I don't mind my own space either and most of the time you’ll find me studying, video editing, playing video games or watching Netflix. If I sound like your cup of tea feel free to send me a message! Cheers! (Just a disclaimer, The cat in my profile picture will not be joining me, she lives at my parents house.)

Hello. I'm Nagisa. I'm Japanese and a full-time student at English language school. I'm looking for a room in share house in or beside Melbourne CBD. I'd like to stay there untill the end of October. I'm an easy-going and tidy person. I'd like to stay in international atmosphere. I like having fun and enjoy talking with others😊
I'm a Canadian on a work/holiday visa and just finished a work term at a winery during the busy vintage season! I have lots of wine background including formal education in winemaking. I've been in Australia for just over a month and am looking to settle somewhere in Melbourne for a few months to explore and work. I'm outgoing and enjoy being surrounded by good company and on occasion enjoy my alone time. I'm tidy and really like a clean living environment. At this time, I dont have many belongings (I can literally fit everything I own into a 75L packback) so I don't take up much space! What's mine is yours. I enjoy cooking, especially with others. I'm very open to sharing my food with flatmates if you like to cook too! When I'm not working I enjoy a good beer/wine out with friends or a hot tea infront of the TV. I would love to meet potential housemates that want to reach out! I look forward to creating a life in Melbourne and making new friends!

I live a healthy lifestyle and am mindful and respectful of other people’s privacy/space
Hi! My name is Hyung. Looking for an accommodation preferably on Sydney rd or within 20 minutes from the CBD, from late June to 20th of November! I am 19, studying Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. I am a responsible human being who can clean up after oneself, and I respect other people so it is unlikely that you will get into a fight with me. I will be out 4 days a week and come back in the afternoon, but I do enjoy chatting every now and then. I play baseball and alike every ball player, I'm always up for a bottle of beer(or bottles, either way). In terms of pets, I LOVE CATS, but I also like dogs as well. Please get in touch if you are interested! Cheers
Hi there! I am a friendly, sociable and respectful hospital doctor. I am excited to join a great house of 2+ like minded young professional single people. I am looking at a high quality place (with high quality ppl naturally 😉). Ideally a great apartment or terrace house with minimum 3 bedrooms, plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The intention is to live in a respectful, sociable and friendly house of (soon to be) friends. I am also keen to get a professional cleaner once a fortnight to minimise the usual issues in share houses. I am a single vibrant young woman who loves languages (Japanese and French), games, walks, tennis and is always up for trying something new and interesting. I like to keep things clean without being crazy (it is our home after all) and enjoy fun get togethers and pub nights. Ideally I would like to be with housemates who enjoy relaxed socialising and getting out and about in Melbourne together. If you are working in a full time professional job and think we might get on feel free to drop me a line. Looking forward to meeting some of you in the near future 😁
I'm an international student from China, now studying at Melbourne Uni for master degree. Wanna move in at the end of April or beginning of May. (flexible) Not too far from Uni. Hope the roommates are about the similar age. I like films(especially old films), live music, coffee, cats... desire to unplanned adventure(although never did this before). like to know people with different experience and stories. I would also like to team up! please be free to message
Professional working at the RCH. I am originally form Brisbane, but have been living in London for the last 5 years and have just moved to Melbourne, so still exploring. I like going out for food, gin, travelling, yoga. I'm clean, easy going and respectful of room mates space, but also up for a chat, wine and hanging out too.
I'm easy-going, respectful, works full-time, I clean up after myself, and, most importantly, can reach things in tall spaces - which should be a really important thing to factor in when searching for a housemate! I'm a lover of all things acting, so that means I'll happily watch Netflix or check out a movie at the cinemas with you. Coffee is pretty neat as well! I'm from a large family so sharing is caring; I'm happy to share a meal or beer or two! I do enjoy the quality banter but don't mind discussing the woes of today's society every now and then.
