So i have decided to take a leap of faith and come and work in Melbourne for 6 months, why not! I have never lived outside the UK and have been able to organise a temporary transfer through my job. Looking for a relatively social household but i'm super flexible about the dynamic, i'm fun, sociable and cannot wait to get to Melbourne.
I am doing a full time research in medicine, and am looking for one bed apartment or a studio apartment (if spacious). In case of share houses, please let me know only if the room comes with ensuire bathroom. Location: North Melbourne and the surroundings. If you think you have the right suit for me, dont hesitate to contact me. Thanks!
Coming from Hong Kong and looking for a place to stay for a couple of weeks while I look for a full time/part time job. Can be a room in a shared apartment or a studio apartment, with an AC and internet.
Hi! Currently on a work holiday! Originally from the states in the New York metropolitan area. I used to be in tech management consulting but hoping to go an entirely different direction while I’m here. I enjoy arts and crafts so you might find me at museums and coffee shops. Although I’m not particularly athletic, I also love going to sporting events. I am clean, reliable, and not too much of a partier (although a bit of a night owl). I am flexible with length of stay at one place. I’m looking to live with other females who are outgoing and maybe we can explore together :)
Hello my possible future flatmates, I am film graduate from Hong Kong. Coming Mel on Working Holiday Visa. Going to stay here for six months to a year. Looking for a friendly, cozy place call home for me to relax during my time here. Most times I just let my fantasies fly. Do what comes to my mind. But I am learning to make plan. Can be quiet when we first met. Would love to make friends with my future flatmates. Always down for a chat, a meal or drinks when I'm home or in spare time. Am okay if you prefer to be left alone. Love Netflix. Enjoy photography with my phone. Practicing drawing. May go jogging sometimes. Trying to live with a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle. Keep exploring myself.
Yoga loving, outdoorsy, down to earth girl from Tassie, can also bake some pretty decent chocolate chip cookies :) Just got a new job at the Royal Children's Hospital, starting in April 2020.
Hello, I'm a 28 years old responsible and reliable French man, came in Melbourne earlier this month, and seeking for a long-term accommodation as I will be focused on work and therefore would prefer a stable home. I usually work in supply chain management and health & safety but will just try to find the best deal I can. People generally say about me that I'm a positive-minded, easy-going and straight forward person. I also think to be very tolerant with everything, don't like judging people and gossip, and prefer to see the half-full glass than the half-empty one. I play sport (running and soccer), play music (I brought my electric guitar), like to go out and see live gigs, like going outdoor in general. I like cooking at home and chat with housemates while eating, which it doesn't mean I'm a sticky person because I also appreciate being enclosed in my room some evenings after a shitty day at work. I'm flexible on dates although the earlier will be the better. If you have any question, please just mail or call me :) Good luck in your search, Gilles
I am an easy-going and down to earth young woman from Northern Europe who is currently on a Working Holiday visa. I am always up for a good conversation or nice meal cooked together. I would love to exchange thoughts and skills on various topics and consider myself as very open-minded. I have a strong interest in all kind of cultural events and hold a degree in political science. In my leisure time I like to go to the gym, sing, cook or bake or read a book. I do also enjoy spending time on my own every once in a while and love outdoor activities. I am a polite and very clean housemate, who is immediately on the spot when help is needed. I speak English, German and Estonian fluently and have basic knowledge of French. I am looking for neat flatmates to share an apartment in Melbourne together. For me it is crucial that my common flatmates are respectful and tidy. I do like to go out every now and then but I am definitely not a hardcore party animal. (Small additional secret: I can brew you the best coffee as I used to work as a barista!).
Hi I'm looking for a place for me and my dog with friendly, passionate, creative people. Either in anestablished place or to start up a new place with 1 or 2 peeps. I work in hospo and the creative industries. Am a classic plant killer but love the outdoors, sing around the house, like abstract conversations, open communication and try to live sustainably. Have some household stuff, and also all the normal social share house requirements in a human adult (clean, tidy, respectful, pay bills etc). I'm going back to being veg and generally live with less stuff but it's a transition. It would be awesome to find people who are happy to share a meal occasionally. We are all leaving our current house because even though it is a great house, the yard is quite large and none of us are green thumbs. Toby is 12.5year old tibetan spaniel x. He is an inside outside dog, who wont eat your shoes or lunch, and is fully house trained. It would be terrific if you had a dog too. But not a cat, sorry. Allergies. I kinda like around Essendon/ Brunswick West so am looking there. A house close enough to transport and shops but not directly on doorstep, that has good insulation would be great. It would be great too to have some extra spaces like a bungalow or rumpus, and a place for entertaining. If have a room or you'd like to find somewhere cool together then I'd love to hear from you. Cheers Donna
Originally from London, but have spent the last 2.5 years teaching in South Korea. I've been living and working full-time for an Architect firm in Melbourne since June and absolutely love this city! I'm quite a social person but also love a night on the sofa with a glass of red and a good film. Usually I spent my weekends going to gigs, galleries and cafe hopping. In the evening, I switch the cafes for bars and craft beer breweries! During the week I'm pretty chill; I usually head to the gym after work, enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and watching Netflix. I'm looking for a room in a house with clean, easy going flatmates who occasionally enjoy spending time together and live in a house they call a home.
Hey there!!! This is Maria y Lucia. We are from Spain and we are in Melbourne since one year ago. We both are chefs and working full-time. In our free time, we love to hang out with our friends and enjoy the cultural vibe of the city. As flatmates, we really value to live in a tidy and clean house. We love cooking for others and having fun around a table with a bottle of wine!!
I am tidy, respectful, and friendly Taiwanese who is currently on second year working holiday in Melbourne. I love to cook and have a nice dinner time with friends together. Also, I like outdoor activities, such as hiking, jogging, cycling and even just strolling by harbours.
