Hi. I'm a brazilian student who is coming to work with a professor of UniMelb. The length of stay will be four months. I'll arrive in Melbourne in 7 February. If the room is available, I'd like to visit the place. I'm a clean, calm and very organized person. cheers. Guilherme.
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, playing guitar, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade piano playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
My name is Wesley and I am 21 years old. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Melbourne and am starting at RMH next year. I think i'm good to live with because I am a responsible and accepting person. I am organised and tidy but also love to let loose and have a dance. I love travelling, dancing, running (albeit slowly) and trying to cook new things. I am I am also very dedicated and a complete nerd and am great at trivia. I love to have a chat over a meal or hot chocolate.
I'm a neat, reliable and great to live with. I work full time at ABC radio in Melbourne, love my work but also enjoying socialising and having fun. I'm mature, considerate and will respect your space.
My name's Jack, I'm 21 years old from South Coast England. I'm a big outdoors person and love any sort of physical activity! Into my music big time, always have my head boppin' to something - I'm easy going and easy to live with. I keep myself organised and rarely leave a trace of where I've been. I'm currently working full time in an Italian so tend to bring back some authentic goodies from time to time!
Looking for a room around Melbourne. My partner works full time, about 20 minutes West of Melbourne. I study full time in Caulfield. We live a healthy and active lifestyle. Looking to move anytime between Feb 13th and the end of Feb. Will negotiate if necessary. Contact me if you believe we may be suitable housemates :)
I am Sara from Italy, 35 yo (but feeling and looking younger!), Psychologist, Nutritional therapist and PhD Candidate at Deakin University from around the first week of / mid March 2017. Respectful, quiet and tidy person, sociable, reliable, nice to live with! Looking for: spacious single room in a comfortable modern house or flat, and great flatmates (possibly professionals around their 30s) in Seddon, Yarraville, Spotswood, Newport, anyway on the V-line and close to the train stations (I will commute every day to Geelong and Melb). PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR ROOMS IN THESE AREAS ONLY Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi potential flatmates! We're an American-Australian couple that's just moved to Melbourne, looking for some place to live, house or apartment. One of us is a primary school teacher and the other is about to start a master's in urban planning at Melbourne Uni. We like wine and foods and Netflix, and now that I've said that I realize we're actually quite basic. Yay! But seriously, one of us really likes to cook and has dreams of starting a vegetable garden that will mean no more trips to fucking Coles for their surprisingly cheap produce. We're hoping for somewhere with good access to public transport, maybe some outdoor space, character, lighting, possibly a car space. Hit us up if you'd like to look at some places together and navigate this shitty maze that is nailing down a residence in Melbs.
Moving from Mildura to study law at Victoria Uni. In my spare time I like to play a little music, and have a good chat and a nice beer. I'll be rowing for Footscray Rowing club and I have a casual job lined up already. I am looking for nice housemates that are easy to get along with, otherwise I am fairly easy-going.
Hi, I'm Llewellyn - Lewy ("Louie") for short. Australian, currently living in Carlton, but have a feeling I'll probably be moving in a couple months. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. My down time, when I find it, is usually spent catching up on all the awesome TV shows I watch, going out for food and drink with friends or getting them together for card games/board games. I enjoy cooking at home, listening to music, walking everywhere (and combinations of these, though usually not cooking and walking). Would love to be living with other creatives (for shared passion reasons), events/hospitality/shift workers (for similarity of work lifestyle) and/or fans of relaxing at home with some good TV. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated.
We are a young couple who are moving to Melbourne from Sydney at the end of January 2017. We are a working couple, following our careers in Engineering and Entrepreneurship. We are both happy, friendly people who have lived in plenty of share houses for the past 6 years. We are social, tidy people who are very interested in making new friends in a new city. We cook a lot at home and love some good banter with the occasional drink.
Hi! I'm currently living in Malaysia and will be moving to Melbourne for research in Unimelb. Arriving on 7th of February (or few days later) and my research will last 7 months, through August. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done backpacking a fair bit so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I don't prefer such extremities. I'm absolutely fine with any location that is convenient and that I can easily travel to campus. Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine!
Hi, I'm Ethan and I'm a 21 year old student from Amsterdam. I'm moving to Melbourne in Feb for an exchange semester at the Uni of Melbourne. I will be searching for a house close to the Parkville Campus with 2+ roommates. I'm social and easy going and love music, sports, going out and hanging out with friends. Please contact me if you're interested to team up or if you have a room available!
Hey guys! I'm a Kiwi looking to move over to Melbourne end of Jan/early Feb. I like fitness, theater, the occasional cheeky drink or two and even cooking! I'm nice and tidy, get along with pretty much anyone and I always pay bills on time :)
I'm an apprentice hairdresser at a salon/record store on Sydney Rd. I work full time during the week and like to go out on weekends. I play music and am very passionate about the Melbourne music scene. I'm friendly, easy-going and respectful of people's personal space. I'm also clean and tidy but not uptight. Looking to move in ASAP :)
Easygoing and able to get along with everyone, wanting a warm and friendly share house. INFJ that would love to hang out with housemates but also values alone time. Love to cook and happy to share it with my housemates too!
I'm Caitlyn I am a 21 year old Canadian, yogi traveller and I'm looking for accommodation in Melbourne, VIC. I'm very clean and organized and I exert positive energy. I'm interested in a solo place but very open to houseshare to meet some friendly humans!
I'm going to be a full-time psych student at Melbourne Uni this year, so I'm looking for a share house close to the uni/on a public transport line. It would be great if I could share with some other students, but it's no necessity! Ideally I'd love a place where we can hangout as a house every now and then (just sharing a beer in the evening would be swell) but also like to chill a bit. I'm a super easy-going, social and tidy person, with a knack for squeezing in a nap whenever and wherever necessary. I play soccer, like going to concerts/theatre/comedy shows etc, enjoy a wine or 20 and love exploring and trying new things! Love a good boogie from time to time, but also appreciate my down time for (aforementioned) naps and watching The Office. I like plants (so am happy to help keep alive any kind of garden or house plants if necessary), LOVE dogs (but also like cats), am not strictly a vegetarian but don't tend to eat much meat, and I don't smoke but don't mind if others do! I'm entirely house trained, so am no stranger to cleaning - actually love it when I'm stressed and/or procrastinating - and I'm no Nigella but I can whip up a mean toastie on the odd occasion.
I'm an architecture student from the University of Melbourne currently taking time away from study to work full time in an architectural practice. I'm a social, friendly and open guy as well as clean and considerate and hope to live with like-minded people. I'm passionate about what I do but couldn't do it without coffee, wine, movies and good laughs.
24 and working full-time in finance. I'm easygoing and enjoy spinning a few records or frisbee in the park. Typically spend weekends out and about with friends and having a boogie, but also enjoy some downtime on the couch watching sport or Netflix. I have plenty of rental history, am considerate of others and always do my bit to keep the home clean and tidy. I'd like to move in late January and would prefer a longer term arrangement of around a year (or more), but this is all flexible. Looking for like-minded, respectful and fun-loving housemates who won’t pass up the odd drink together. Get in touch if we seem like a good fit!
- Moved to Melbourne from Dubai 4 months back - Doing my masters degree from RMIT - City - Working part time as a business systems coordinator - Enjoyable to be around, but also respect people's privacy - Always up for a friendly chat and share a meal Rent budget: In CBD: 220 if shared bathroom 250 if ensuite/own bathroom Around CBD: 200 if shared bathroom 230 if ensuite/own bathroom
I love animals, gardening, sleeping in, reading and garlic bread. I am currently a uni student majoring in psychology but not one of those annoying ones who think they can psychoanalyse everything you do just because they've taken a class on cognitive psychology before.
Hi I'm Chelsea I'm interested in the room you have available. A bit about myself; im 20 and working full time in the city as a chef. I'm very organised so bills and rent won't be a problem at all. I'm hoping to move into somewhere asap and I'm looking to stay 6 months +. I've had experience in share houses before so I understand the responsibilities of cleaning up after myself, my room and the rest of the house. My hours are a bit all over the place so I'm in and out of the house at different times during the week but I'm not loud and very respectful of others at night and early in the morning. I'm very easy going and easy to get along with, I like to socialize and chat away about how the day has gone but also like my alone time to chill out. Hope I fit the part and hear back from you, thanks!
Hi there, I'm an open-minded social guy who also likes privacy to certain extend. Work- holiday visa holder with emphasis on the Work part. Respect, being not too messy and positive attitude are key attributes for me. Love sports(boxing, running, you name it (if you want to go for a run with me be prepared to eat dust)),culture, history, music, old movies, interesting books... Let's go for a drink if there is something to talk about.
HI there! My husband and I are moving to Melbourne from Texas, USA on 24 January and are looking for a furnished apartment/share. I currently work in architecture designing schools and will be researching with the University of Melbourne for the year. My husband will look for work and/or travel around the country. We are avid travelers (Australia will be continent #7!) who love good food and good coffee - both of which Melbourne is known for! We have both lived in shared houses in the past and love meeting new people. We are flexible with term and would like to stay in one place at least 3 months up to 11 months or a year. We prefer a private bathroom and keep our rent and bills to less than $300pw
I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and I'm living in Melbourne since November/16. I'm studying English and working to extend my VISA. I'm a simple girl, I enjoy to hang out with my friends, drink, walk in park, 420, see art/murals, I love music, pets, good food and see the sunset on the beach. Most of the time I'm working in the morning/afternoon and studying in the evening.

Hello Earthlings, I'm looking for private room in or near the City (preferably Docklands). I'm studying at Melbourne University and as social as an IT student can get. I'm into sports and a little bit of fitness. To balance out, I also like to cook and am a foodie(I'm happy sharing my food). I'm still exploring Melbourne and wouldn't mind if someone tags along. I'm open to the idea of leasing a new apartment together in Docklands. If you think I'm your guy, message or text me. Cheers ^_^ PS: non smoker, would prefer to live with the same..
Being the youngest of 3 and living in a busy social house there has never been a time when I haven't had to share so enjoy being around people. I am living in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula and completed a Bachelor of early childhood end of last year. I have got full time work in Parkville so cannot wait to move up to town. I enjoy movies, music podcasts and art.
Hello, I'm a very friendly and tidy second year Arts student at the University of Melbourne, originally from Sydney. I'm looking for somewhere to live until mid/end of June this year, and would love a quiet furnished place that's within walking distance to uni. I also work and volunteer as a tutor so will be out and about quite often but happy to chat if we're in at the same time.
I live, love and play aerial circus and thus Nicolas and I would be delighted to live near the Carlton/port Melbourne area to be near my circus space and my work. I am tidy, adore great wine and great conversation and out and about often.
Hi everybody. I'm a 24 year-old part-time student and wine-selling person. I'm currently doing my Masters in Social Policy at Melbourne Uni. I've lived in sharehouses in Carlton and Fitzroy North in the past and want to live somewhere northside again. I'm keen on basically anywhere north of the city but south of Bell St. Budget is ~$170/week max and on-street parking and a reasonably nearby train or tram are musts. I'd be most interested in living with other people around my own age. I'd also consider starting a new share house with 2-3 other people - preferably young professional and/or other grad students
My name is Nat, I'm a 24 y/o kiwi gal moving to Melbourne on the 22nd. A bit about me- I am a recent Master of Arts grad and enjoy a few cheeky wines, spontaneous adventures, drinking far too much coffee, I love music, am fairly social and a very reliable flatmate. As I'm moving countries I'm not only looking for a place to live but some new friends too. Please feel free to ask me any questions- cheers! Nat :)
Hi everyone, This is Ali. I teach International Business at RMIT University and also do research. During the last 7 years, I've been living in various share houses with people coming from different backgrounds among different ages and I'm familiar with sharehouse lifestyle. I do exercise regularly, it's been a while I do yoga, Tai Chi, walking and also swimming. I do like cooking and prefer to cook at home and would be happy to share a weekly meal with my future housemates. I prefer to live with people who care about keeping the place clean and I'm happpy to do so. I'm not only looking for a bedroom but also for people who like to communicate in their free time. Please contact me if you think we can get along.
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
Hey, My name's Andrea, going on 23 and from Norway. I am currently studying psychology and geography at Melbourne Uni (2nd year), and between that and work I keep pretty busy during the week. I'm a responsible, open-minded and social person, keen to share meals and drinks every now and then, but also very independent and respectful of space. I spend my free time with friends, exploring Melbourne and surroundings, working out, I'm also a major foodie and absolutely love traveling. I'm looking for a sharehouse with 1-4 other people starting from January 22nd, the earlier the better. Ideally I'd like to live with people who are up for a good chat over a meal or drinks from time to time, and who are also quite relaxed, open-minded, clean and generally respectful of others. And of course keen to make the sharehouse a home! Hope to hear from you, thanks!
I'm a super outgoing, bubbly, laid back, American gal. I currently am bartending and saving to travel for 3 months in September, so I won't be at the house often during the night! I love the gym and being active. Currently I am taking a course for my pt qualification! Love having a friendship with my fellow roomies, and consider myself neat, tidy and respectful! Always down for a wine night as well 🙊

Clean and tidy, fun and easy-going, very chill. I enjoy watching movies and TV, video games, cooking (eating), and having a good time. While I'll be focusing on studying and will be looking for part-time work, I will always be up for sharing a meal and/or drink and going out for adventures! I am a non-smoker, but smoking is okay. I am also fine with pets!

We are neat, tidy, friendly people who are looking for short term accomodation until we can work out our own rental. I am studying nursing and my partner is working as a carpenter and we will be spending the other half of our time exploring Melbourne as we have just moved over from Perth.
I'm relocating to Melbourne from Adelaide mid Feb, and wil be over on the 25,26,27 Jan to check things out. Looking to find somewhere which will be suitable for me to travel to the University of Melbourne and work at the airport, possibly Brunswick. I'm commencing my masters in Chinese translation in Feb so will be pretty busy with that and working but I love to have a wine or three and go out too :)
After spending the summer at home on the Surf Coast, I'm moving back up to Melbourne to study and work. In my spare time I surf, play footy, and enjoy hanging with friends and scouting out music. Cheers Tenz

Hey potential future flatmate(s)! I’m a 21 year old Swede and I study Communication Design full-time at Billy Blue College of Design. I’m also most likely going to start looking for a part-time job just to get some extra money in addition to my income from Sweden. When I'm not studying I enjoy hanging out with friends, eating good food or just staying in watching Netflix. I'm really into art and design so all the exhibitions Melbourne has to offer is like heaven for me! On the weekends I like to go out for drinks or a couple of beers but won't bring the party home if it's not appropriate. I’d love to get to know my flatmate(s), hang out, explore Melbourne, maybe even go on a roadtrip/hike/whatever, but if that's not your thing I'm fine with that too! I used to rent a room in a flatshare in South Melbourne that I loved but now I've been in Sweden for one and a half months and I need to find a new place to call home! Preferably in Fitzroy, Richmond, South Yarra, St Kilda, Prahran and surrounding suburbs. I absolutely love living with others but sometimes I need my privacy for studies so therefore I'm only looking for a private room. I need good tram/train/bus connections if it’s in a suburb further away and I'd prefer a furnished room as I don't really own anything except for an $9 work lamp from IKEA. But it's not necessary if it's the right place. I'm allergic to pets so I don't want any furry things around me (It's okay if you're a hairy human). Do I sound like your new flatmate?! Hit me up!
Hello. I'm a single male looking for a place to rent for a year+. I work full time and enjoy my down time, sport and getting out on weekends with friends and family. I have a pup who is 12 weeks old at the moment and is slowly being house trained. I'm very easy going, very clean to live with and can cook a few decent meals. I'm respectful of people space and belongings, honest and very trustworthy.
I am a full-time student studying master of architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I have been in Melourne for 2 years. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I don't smoke and don't like drug. I enjoy having a night in with movies and mates but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I am into music, painting, reading, movies, swimming, photography and biking, recently i am making some interesting graphic by programming. When i am free, i like hanging out to discover new restaurants, new places and fitness or staying at home for cooking or cleaning. Meanwhile, I love chatting with people, for sharing our stories and exchange our opinion. I am a gay, so definitly LGBTI+ friendly. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share life and happy time with my potential lovely roommates. I also would love to share my food and hang out with roommates as well as respect your privacy and keep independence for myself. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. Ideally, I hope the room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 5 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February, but i can also move in Jan if the room is really what I am looking for.
Hi! I'll arrive in Melbourne on February 12th to begin my master studies in Construction Management at the University of Melbourne. I'm 27 yo & have lived abroad for the past 7 years (mostly in shared houses, so I know well how to live with roomies in peace & enjoy it.;)). I'm clean, tidy, laid back, friendly & my friends say funny too :D. In my free time I'd love to cook (gotta be careful to not eat your fingers :P), share a beer or two (wine is even better), watch movies, go for a walk or hike! I'm ideally looking for a private room in an existing shared house but also willing & excited to team-up with other cool, easy-going people looking for a place to call home. :)
Hello! My name is Miley.I'm a very well-organised person who always likes to keep everything around me tidy and clean. I am an easygoing person and a very diligent student. I don't have any bad habits. I usually do some reading in my spare time. I also enjoy watching TV and going to parties at weekends.
Chilled and laidback personality, but also friendly - happy to share a yummy meal and have a wine with housemates, up for movie nights in. However, I also appreciate personal space and that everyone needs time to themselves. In my spare time you'll often find me at the beach swimming and snorkelling, chilling with mates over good food and a drink, also love to cook (but skills are debatable)!
Hi there , my name is Alex. I'm 22 years old and in my final semester university. Which means all i'll be doing is studying hard hard hard. I'm very respectful and deep for my passion so as an artist, so I do spend a lot of time drawing. I consider myself extremely clean and hygienic individual, above the average person I admit, so i never leave a mess and always keep my things neatly packed away. I never fail to miss a sisterngle bill and keep myself well organised. I would love to discuss moving in, send me a text
Hey maybe/sorta roomie! What's to know? I moved to Melbourne about nine months ago and have completely fallen in love with the city. I'm a student at Victoria University at the moment, though i'll be transferring to La Trobe mid this year. I'm always friendly; a bit of a bookworm; at times quite reserved and quiet, but always caring for those i meet along the way. Tidy, respectful, reliable - all that important jazz. Whilst I'm a sociable person, I definitely respect the need for housemates to have space :) Hope i hear from you!
Hey. My name is Lars. I am a backpacker from Germany currently living and working in Melbourne. I am a very friendly and nice person who is very open minded and always up to to try new stuff. I am pretty tidy and in many cases organized although I like going with the flow as well. I like cooking and spending time with good people as well as just relaxing in a park, enjoying the Australian summer while reading a book and listening to music. Cheers Lars
Hey hey. My name is Jacqui and I am a 20 year old Aussie girl currently studying Photography at RMIT in Melbourne. I am friendly, neat, clean, organised, fun-loving and all round good company. Looking for a place to live near Melbourne from the end of February to around June. As mentioned I am a clean and neat person, I don't like leaving a mess around the house so you can count on me to finish the dishes!
Just two Canadian girls who are looking to spend a few months working in Melbourne! ( Looking to rent 2 bedrooms) We are easy going, above average cooks ;), love the outdoors and going for a pint or two once and a while!
Hi there :) My name is Teilo, I am 17 (18 on the 1st of March) and have just finished year 12, looking to move into the city. I am a country boy, but don’t hold it against me! I am an extremely social person and always love chatting and sharing stories over a few beers. I always have a smile on my face and take a positive attitude into just about everything. I am clean and respectful of my surroundings and take pride in the place that I live. I have a goal of starting an electrical apprenticeship in Melbourne and then go on to become a fully qualified electrician. My main interests revolve around music and my love for beer! Most of my spare cash when not going towards necessities usually goes towards one of the two! I love going to see live gigs and if you were into similar music as me would not hesitate on going to gigs together! My favourite bands include: Sticky Fingers, Dunies, Delta Riggs, Cat Empire, Ocean Alley, PUP, Catfish and the bottlemen, Black Keys, Violent Soho, The White Stripes and Young Monks, but the list could go on forever! Things that I can bring to the table: A pretty good record turntable and a limited selection of records, pretty much a complete back up of everything kitchen including a near new toaster, a kettle, fruit and vegetable juicer, microwave, complete sets of bowls plates and cutlery, a beautiful handmade blackwood chopping board and a set of chefs knives and knife block (of course I would only bring these things if they are needed). I also come with the ability to make one of the best chicken curries that you will ever taste! Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon :) p.s - move in date is flexible :)
