Hi! I'm a 19 year old student at Unimelb currently studying science. I'm from Newcastle, however, but I decided to move to a bigger city to study. I'm just looking for a chill place to stay whilst I complete an intensive subject during the summer holidays before I move in with a friend in mid Feb. I love people, but also like my personal space - I enjoy social events buut, if you're busy/not into socialising, I'm quite content keeping to myself (I'll be preoccupied with uni anyways so it'd probably be for the best :) ). I'm also quite tidy and pay my bills on time too. More about myself: I like going for walks and finding new places, I love church, food, wine, staying in and watching movies, as well as going out with friends.
I'm Will, I'm from the UK and before I came to Australia I was a furniture salesman. But like many people I was bored of my job and didn't want to spend this part of my life wasted in one place so I decided to pack up and start again. I'm looking for a place to stay in Melbourne as I'm really liking this city's wonderful weather, culture, variety of food and abundance of wifi. And hopefully make a few friends while I'm here =). I'm looking for a private room (with ideally a double/ queen size bed but it's not essential) as I do prefer a bit of personal sleeping space/ somewhere to relax by myself but will happily socialise with and spend time to get to know any future house/ flatmates and don't mind how many people are in the property (the more the merrier =D). I can move in (to the right place) as soon as you need. I think of myself as a pretty chill guy with an excellent sense of humour and a terrible attention span. I enjoy binge watching good TV, Netflix and Youtube videos (massive Game of Thrones fan of course XD), listening to good music, dank memes, socialising with friends i.e drinking, gaming (played a lot of League of Legends before I left... poorly I might add) and going out for meals, films etc. I used to do a lot of running and football and hopefully will get back into it soon, as my old job fattened me up a bit and I'm definitely in need of the exercise =P.
Hey there potential new housemate! I'm Hayley and I've just graduated from an accounting degree. I am moving in Jan 2018 from Sydney to start full-time work with NBN. I have been renting a granny flat since June 2016 so you needn't worry about someone who won't pay their bills or keep the house clean. In my free time, I love watching live music, watching crime shows and reading. I do not smoke nor do I have pets but do not mind if flatmates do. I am always up for a chat or night out but am quite happy to stay home also. Can't wait to meet you!
Hi! A 27yo female originally from South Korea, a graduate from UniMelb, who's been working overseas in the corporate sector for the last four years, now taking a break to do a master. I just flew back to Australia 2-3 months ago. Currently, I am doing a part-time job, and looking for a place to move in preferably with people around my age to chill together, grab a beer or a glass of wine every now and then, you know. I love love love animals, prefers edms, and in my spare time I tend to go to the gym, clean the closet, (try to) surf, and read a book on the beach, movies :)
Hi I'm Katie! I'm an easy going gal working in Advertising. I love hanging out for a vino and good chats, and pretty into my fitness as well. Cooking is one of my strong points, I can do a mean arrabiata and pretty decent mexican. I've got vacuuming 101 under my belt and I'm pretty handy with a sponge. I come with limited things (mainly just a bed and clothes!) and can't wait to meet you!
Hi everyone! I am an international student studying at Uni of Melb for master degree started in July. If I don't have class, I usually spend time studying at home. I'm respectful, considerate, open-minded, clean but certainly not a freak. I love cooking Thai food (and happy to share!), so I hope you don't mind the smell. Occasionally, I am keen to catch up with my potential housemate over a glass of wine and binge on Netflix. I am a cat and dog lover, so I'm more than welcome if you have one. *interested to team up and find our lovely place *ideally looking to move in with other one person
chill, respectful, great cook, love movies, relatively quiet, friendly, clean hi, my name is Samantha and i am a student moving from Perth to Melbourne next year to study at RMIT. i am moving to Melbourne on the 16th of January and will be looking at staying for about 6 months. if this works for you feel free to contact me. thanks.
We are a clean and respectful couple who work full time and like to keep busy on the weekends. We are looking for somewhere short term, around 2 months, until we figure out where we would like to settle long term. We believe in being fair and honest housemates.
Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet. I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm gettting to get back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Starting off well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can. Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will become available any time after now through to 'earlyish' next year. Need somewhere closish to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks!
Hey Guys, Its pretty important to me I can set up shop with some rad fellas/gals and hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Migrating from Brisbane 4+ years ago I am currently working as a PM/Estimator (Mon-Fri) while looking to further myself within the electrical industry and I consider myself to be a pretty chilled out guy and get along with everyone, big pet lover, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making. I come complete list of friday afternoon drinks and my complied best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) Scored pretty well in my house training traineeship so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate and I have lived in all girl houses previously so when you need something squashed, moved or someone to anwser the door my hand will go straight up. I'm always down for a hang or a cheeky pint and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with a good story! I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit otherwise good luck with the hunt! :)
My name's Jordan and I'm a 21 year old creative from the Gold Coast. I studied Film at University and graduated in early 2016; I've since been living and working in Sydney. After over a year's production work, I've recently returned from a much needed Euro trip, where I spent a few months between Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam. I've recently made the drive down to Melbourne for a new job and am looking for a short term sublet, where I can settle in, apply for my own lease and prepare for the following working year. On my weekends I like to work on my own personal projects, taking photos, soaking up the sun in the gardens and exploring new places. I'm ultimately looking for a bunch of down to earth, open minded roommates who I can have a drink and chat with at the end of the day! Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi! I'm Sakina, and I'm a postgraduate student studying a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. I'm from Sri Lanka and I moved here in July 2017 so I'd considered myself a newbie! (hehe). In terms of being a flatmate, I'd love to live in a clean environment and will make an extra effort to be clean and healthy wherever I live. I also think it's important to have a healthy and engaging relationship with my flatmate, so I'd ideally look for someone who is outgoing and fun, but also gives me my space and has their own! In my spare time (lol, what is that when you're a Masters student?), I love watching tv shows, movies, listening to music and reading/writing. I love coffee, and am always open to finding coffee spots in and around the area! I am also an explorer by habit and love to go around the city to visit cool spots. I work part time with children and do a bit of promo work here and there. I look forward to beginning this journey and living with you! :)
I just finished uni in Canberra and I'm moving to Melbourne to start a job at a law firm in the CBD. Love to travel, been to around 40 countries so far. I love to play sport and try to get to the gym (but to be honest it's more of an ambition than a habit). I'm a good cook but awful at planning meals. I'm also a politics junkie and enjoy some good political satire on abc. I've previously leased an apartment in Canberra, stayed in student accommodation in the UK on uni exchange and made my way through countless hostel dorm rooms. I'm looking for housemates that are keen to hang out and chat/eat/drink but also understand that I sometimes need my own space. I'd be interested in sharing meals but am also fine to cook for myself. Location is important but I'd much rather find the right group of people who have similar values to me. If you like binging tv shows, exploring the city, going on walks and bike rides and want someone who is friendly, clean, low maintenance and easy to live with, then I could be your guy. It's a cliche but I'm looking for a home not a house. "It's the vibe" - The Castle
Hi! My name's Sam and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I’m a 29 year-old male working in tech support and studying physics at RMIT (not to be confused with psychics… I cannot tell the future, sorry in advance). I keep pretty busy during the week, but love to come home to hang out, share a meal (pumpkin pesto pasta is my specialty), have a few drinks, listen to some music or binge watch a TV series or two (currently obsessed with Stranger Things). I also apologise in advance for getting too emotionally invested in the footy. I’m really considerate and clean, especially of all the shared spaces in the house. I’ve lived in share houses before, so I’m pretty comfortable with all the unwritten rules of housemate life. Ideally, I’m looking at anything from $500-760 p/month. Location wise, inner city is good but mostly it’s about finding great housemates who can become great friends. If you’ve got a spare room, or know someone who does, get in touch. Cheers Sam
[About Me] My name is Amanda and I am 23 yr old female currently studying a post grad degree in law at Melb Uni. I am clean, tidy, responsible and well house trained. I spend most of my time at uni, at the gym or studying in my room. I enjoy cooking and a few drinks now and then. I am normally in bed by 12am weekday and weekends - so definitely not a party person Please let me know if I fit what you are looking for!
I am super chill and easy going. I like to eat/cook nice food as well as socialise, go to gigs and go climbing/yoga. I am always looking to try new things and meet new people. I have just moved over from Liverpool UK and am working as a barista on a work holiday visa
Hi all, My names Sean, and I am currently seeking a new share house or housemate/s. If you are interested in a ‘team-up’ to find a new place, or if you have a spare room- come to the front. I'm a young professional working full time as a trend forecaster/ designer for one of Australia's leading retailers, so I'm often quite busy during a typical week. In my personal life, I love to socialise and catch up with friends/ meet new people. I love sandwiches, reality TV, and going for a cheeky drink. I prefer modern(ish) places as I have a ridiculous fear of spiders finding me in an old(er) place. Get in touch. :)
I am Danica (mid 30s) old VCA PhD student from Europe. I am kind of a weird mix of intro- and extrovert—like to hang out and to meet new people, but need frequent alone-time moments. Enjoy music, specially old school deep house and techno, and disco. Like to talk about food, to cook and share meal, and enjoy good spirits. Come with a Boston shaker and crepes pan. Probably the most important quality for flatmates is to be open-minded and considerate. I like to live in clean and tidy space (especially kitchen and bathroom), but I am far from being obsessive, so I don't expect others to be any different :)
Hey there! I'm Kate, 31. I work full time in media researching stories for a lifestyle show. I moved back to Melbourne earlier this year after 4 years living/working in Sydney and London so am looking to make friends and rediscover Melbourne. I'm definitely not a party animal but I would like to live with people who would enjoy a post work wine or heading to a nice pub every once in a while. In my spare time (god, this sounds like a dating ad..) I like reading, watching films, exercising, salsa dancing, karaoke (okay I actually haven't done karaoke for about 6 years but I like the idea) and learning new languages. I'm clean and respectful of communal areas and I'd really love to live with similar minded people. My dirty student share house days are behind me! Other than that I'm very laid back, never been into 'drama', just looking to meet some great new people!
Hello! I've just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. Left my job in construction project management in England to come out here and live the dream. I'm a very sociable person but also hard-working. I'm clean and respectful of others. Enjoy watching and playing various sports. Also a keen cook and don't mind mucking in when required. Looking to live with like-minded people.
Hey! I'm an easy going 23 year old from NSW who has a current permanent job in Williamstown - so paying bills on time will not be an issue! Currently based in Maidstone but on the hunt for a new place. Pretty open and friendly person, so will be keen to socialise with flat mates in spare time, but also very respectful of personal space. Enjoys a drink and hitting the town on weekends. Big music fan so will also be keen to get down to some gigs.
