Hey my name's Jayden, I'm 22 and I am originally from Adelaide. I'm moving to Brisbane for work as an airline pilot. I will be working shifts and may be away for an occasional night. I enjoy the outdoors and will be looking to explore a lot of Brisbane and Queensland. Having a flatmate that knows of many places to go and things to do would be a great bonus! When I'm not outside, I enjoy playing the guitar and the piano, as well as just relaxing at home watching Netflix, playing games or just chatting. I'm very flexible to the provisions of the accommodation, however, I would strictly like to be staying with a flatmate who does not smoke.
Hi I’m Winnie, Im Maori from New Zealand, looking for a room or place for at least 1 year. I work during the day and get home at night. Been at my job for 3+years. Very respectful and tidy. Like to have a few drinks here and there. I keep to myself as people say I'm quiet most times. Feel free to chat about anything else.
Extremely clean and tidy!! Early riser!! Need a place to sleep early and go to work around 4am the next day!!! Work around 5/6 days a week! Finish around 3pm, go to the gym and hit the bed! Need a place to park my Ute (don't mind if its on/off the street) I am only planning on staying until Xmas so not really looking to pay a full month of bond given the short stay, id be willing to negotiate though. Cheers :)
Hi! I’m 31yo single gal who works full time as a health professional. I am a reliable, respectful, and tidy housemate. Keen to move to Brisbane Northside around Chermsideish area to be closer to work. Ideally I would like to team up with another female to rent a unit/house together - I have basic furniture, fridge, washing machine, cooking implements, TV, microwave etc. Very flexible on the move in date - so get in touch! I’m a social person and enjoy spending time with friends and family. Walks, swims, yoga, brunch, and hosting chill wine and cheese nights (think PJs) are just some of the things I enjoy. Lover of candles, books and flowers, I like a tidy, friendly, and welcoming environment to come home to at the end of a busy day. I enjoy having a chat, but also totally respect personal space and the need for down time. I like to socialise with my housemates where possible, heading to events in and around Brisbane when we’re able to find time!!
Friendly guy, doesn't smoke, loves park run and OCR (Spartan race), working full time. I have a car so parking spot/garage is a must! ready to move by 03 August 2019
Originally from FNQ and slowly aclimistising to Brisbane 😂. , I’m very clean and neat ( references to confirm ) and respectful that a house is a home/sanctuary for all and would like a similar outlook from others as I’ve been quite lucky with people I’ve shared with over the years , I’m a non smoker and drinker but having a beer, cocktail or wine to socialise and a chat isn’t going to hurt 😉 I like to keep active with gym , walks , team sports ect and try to cook healthy in the process Looking for airconditioned room , sounds picky but I struggle to sleep without it
Moved over from New Zealand 6 months ago as an Au Pair but love i love Brisbane too much to leave just yet! I now have a job at the Brisbane Airport, so looking for rooms near there for an easy commute. I am a tidy person, i’d say i would keep to myself most of the time but always up for a chat or dinner! I can always provide references if you’d like :)
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - September 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. At the moment I've a 24hrs / fortnight contract as a Sales Co-Worker at IKEA Logan. Although this is not a full time contract, I am taking over a lot of shifts from my colleagues. So I will be away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so fully independant during my stay in Australia. - September 2019 - Future My Visa conditions allow me to only work for the same employer for six months. In November 2019 I will be transfered to the IKEA store in North Lakes. They offered me a 40hrs / fortnight contract to work as a Sales Co-worker again, core area Kitchens this time. This is also why I want to move my way to the North side of the Brisbane, to avoid the traffic jams around the river. One thing is for sure: I really want to find a place where I can stay till the end of my Visa (May 2020). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. IMPORTANT TO MENTION: My best friend from The Netherlands will come over from the 22nd of October till the 30th of October 2019. I haven't seen him for 1,5 years, so I would love to have him close while he's in Brisbane. I will have the full time off when he's here, so we will be busy exploring everything Brisbane has to offer. It would be great if he could stay over during his visit as well, even if it's just in my room. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
Clean and working professional. Enjoy a laugh and a chat, and love camping and scuba diving. Looking for a place preferably near public transport to the city and with my own bathroom but somewhat flexible on that. Not really keen on a party house but happy to be somewhere social. Love dogs but sadly allergic to cats.
I'm pretty chill. I work about 30+hrs in a petstore, and I own two small Parrots and a Fish tank. I have aspergers. I am independant. I have lived in Brisbane for most of my life, and have spent some time living in Melbourne. I have varied interests: Fish, Birds, Scuba Diving, Hiking, Swimming, Drawing, Photography and I have a Bacholars in Film. From 7 yrs-14yrs I was a competitive Gymnast before transitioning to Professional Ballet, and then onto Ballroom dancing. In my down time, I like to binge netflix, love to bake/cook, or enjoy tending to my fish or playing with my Birds, Looking at dank memes, watchin YT or playing Minecraft. I'm an outdoor smoker. I currently don't drive, but am looking to get a car in the next 12 months. Recently out of a 1yr and a half relationship. Currently still living with ExBoyfriend, it's not Ideal, but we're amicable. Ideally, I'm looking for a place to call home. Semi social houses are awesome. Keen to share a meal, memes, have a chat or watch movies together every now and then. I'd prefer to live with 1 or maybe two others, however I have lived with 3-5 people in the past with no issues. Housemates will need to be interested or at least fond of birds, as mine are very social, however they do spend most of the day in their cages, one comes to work with me on Fridays.
