Hi Im Mariah, 26, I do have a very social side but 70% of the time I do keep to myself and enjoy my own company and privacy. I am an Executive Assistant for a construction company at Eagle Farm and have been there for over a year, I work 8 - 5 - I do a lot of OT so I am a bit of a stress head when it comes to work which is why I love my down time when I get home and usually hit the gym in Nundah afterwards. I am a very neat and tidy person and a bit OCD when it comes to cleaning. I do enjoy a night out and a few drinks but that is becoming a bit rare these days. I love my movies and gaming so fast internet is a must!
I'm looking for the perfect place for me and my beautiful dog, Gus (ask for pics, I promise you'll love him). I'm moving out of my current house in March as my housemates are both moving for work. Sadly because of Gus I can't live in an apartment, as he needs a bit of space to run about and I'd feel terrible putting him in a tiny courtyard, so here I am, looking for a place with a yard! I'd be very happy with a one-bedroom flat or small house with yard, or a granny-flat would be ideal! If there's a room in a share-house, for the right people, I'd be keen for that too. A little about me? I've always lived in Brissie (Except for a couple of years gallavanting overseas after uni), I work full-time as the CFO in a small company, and I spend my weekends out and about, often hitting up beaches and forest walks with friends and my dog. I don't party, but enjoy the occasional couple of quiet wines on a Friday night with friends (or potentially new housemates) over dinner/boardgames/movie. Gus is a 1year old border collie X stumpy-tailed cattle dog. He's a quiet dog and only ever barks if there's a possum, cat or someone he doesn't know in the yard (he's been known to chase intruders!!) He's well-behaved and although he's an active breed, I exercise him daily and he's surprisingly more calm than most working dogs I've met. Although he's previously been used to being inside when I'm at home, he and I would be happy enough for him to be an outdoor-only dog if required.
I'm easy going, happy to talk and have a glass of wine but also respect you doing your own thing. I'm a Monday to Friday worker and fit the gym in around my schedule. I love to cook/bake, read books and go to the beach and hang out with friends in my free time.
Friendly, clean and happy person, I like to socialize and love to hang out with friends and the people I live with. Working in hospitality while I look for a more full-time/suited career. Winner of 1932 Worldwide hotdog eating competition and a Drag Queen that can't win pageants.
Hi! I am originally from Belgium and have been in Australia for the past 7 years. I recently break up with my partner and looking for a place to relocate . Very clean person, reliable and always keen to meet new people for a laugh and few drinks, I also respect privacy and expect the same from others.
Hey guys! So my name is Bec and I’m 22 years old and currently looking to move out of home for the first time! I’m easy going, social, clean, approachable and just generally up for a good time no matter the day. I also however; respect people’s privacy and tend to want mine during the week (Mon-Fri) as well, as I’m usually busy with full time work as a manger at the Commonwealth Bank in the city. I also love music, socializing with friends and a good Netflix binge. Would love to hear from you! Keen to start living independently! It’s been a long time coming :)
Hi I’m natalie, I’m 26 years old and I am a flight attendant! I am looking for a room to rent close to the airport.. I currently live on the Gold Coast so am commuting to Brisbane daily! I do shift work so would not be around too much & my days off I would be back down on the Gold Coast I’m tidy & keep to myself but do love a chat as well! I love going to the gym & being outdoors. I also like a wine or two after work every now & then 😊
Im an outgoing chill guy that loves music, arts and a weekend beer, I am currently living in nundah and working full time in Loganlea making and distributing aluminum, in my spare time I like to relax and watch a movie or even have a conversation if I get an invitation to one, my hobbies are producing music, film, acting and dancing, I am a very respectful lad with a nack to keep things tidy,Im looking for a place to move into as soon as possible to give my brother space as he has his 3rd child, it would be great to hear from anyone that is happy to consider me as a flaty.
I'm a very respectful housemate who likes to live in a clean home. I enjoy spending time with friends but I also like my alone time. I'm pretty obsessed with Donna Hay's website and I make some decent corn fritters, so you may be treated to a good breakfast on the weekends. I am from Melbourne but I'll be working in the northern suburbs of Brisbane as an occupational therapist, starting in December. I'm looking for some friendly flatmates who will be keen to hang out together as I won't know anyone when I first move up. I like to stay active and outdoors when the weather is nice, but I also like a good lazy evening on the couch.
Super friendly and chatty, but will give you your space as I’m sure you’ll give me mine. Cheap wine and Netflix enthusiast. Will straight up drink you under a table but I pinky swear I don’t do that very often 😜
While being fully toilet trained, I also have exceptional table etiquette and have a plethora of knowledge about native fauna. (2/3 are false) For reals... I am a full-time working photographer, I am a dad, I love music, I love burritos and cake and I will probably try and get you to drink wine with me. My son stays with me 3 days a week (mostly depending on me travelling for work) . He definitely has exceptional table etiquette and is fully toilet trained. He is 7. He is named Jude. After the Beatle's song, not Jude Law.
Clean neat and tidy respect peoples space Reliable and would treat a place as my own and would share in household chores Moving to Brisbane with a new Government department .Not a party person but don't mind a social chat or gathering.
Hey! I'm tidy and considerate, i'm social but also like my own space sometimes. I don't smoke and i don't drink a whole lot, just with friends every now and then. Always willing to do my bit and help out with the house work! :)
Hi, I'm Tim, 23 and work in the financial services industry. I'm a minimalist and don't like to have a lot of things. I live by the phrase less is more. I'm not overly chatting but am friendly and still like to have a good conversation. Definitely looking for a good friend on top of being a housemate. I work slightly longer hours and will spend the remaining time cooking meals, going for walks and resting up, cause sleeping is my favourite past time. I travel for work occasionally too. Unfortunately that means I've never had pets but if you do, That would be really cool cause I've always wanted a dog. On the weekends, I'll mainly be in the park kicking a footy and catching up with friends. I'm going to try surf again this summer.
Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite specific type of people to share with only. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. I am wanting to share with conscious, spiritual people in their late 20’s to mid 30’s who enjoy meditation, yoga, gym, pilates, hiking etc and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible only. Ultimatley I am wanting to expand my existing circle of these types of people in my life and live this lifestyle with ease, grace and comfort. It would be great if house mates want to do these types of things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets below desires. Location wise anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba would be suitable. I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same as well. I am happy to socialise regulary and looking for others who do too but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is obviously needed. Small, well kept pets that don’t drool, don’t smell bad and are house trained are ok but smokers or drug users are not. I am not vegatarian but I am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love using wild caught seafood. I would love housemates who would be keen to either cook/eat together regulary and work out a system where we could either have fun experimenting with recipes and learning from each other or enjoy nights off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. Of course we will all want to do our own things at times but this is an idea to discuss that would help keep a good flow of people sharing a kitchen more streamline and issue free. Healthy eating is a must no matter what though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. If housemates are also entrepeneurs or work within health/wellbeing/mental health industry well wouldn’t that be just fabulous haha. I am an avid world traveller (if you love travel as well I look forward to swapping crazy stories). I am looking to move away from the party scene and get a routine back in place so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cider but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal for me. If you drink every night or more than a few once a week maximum, I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. If you don’t drink at all you are more than welcome to be part of the share house but please know that I am keen to throw the odd dinner party still. I would like a big, modern, spacious place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time. Private bathrooms for all of us would be ideal and if there was a spare room or nice garden space we can turn into a meditation area I would be in total bliss! I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals and want to share only with like minded people on the same wave length as this will serve to aid and help each other rather than be a hinderous or distraction. I don’t mind how many of us share together as long as you are of the same mind frame that I have described. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I will only reply to those who use the code word. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently but ideally would like to move late December/early January as I have a loooong commute to my work in Marsden from here. If we are all sharing bond though I could probably move sooner as well. Just need to discuss, really. I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Rental Affordability Scheme so if we can find a furnished place on the NRAS program this means we would pay around 20% less than normal prices. These are pretty hard to find though. If you have enough furniture to fill a place though let’s talk about that too. Anyway, if this all sounds good to you then contact me and let’s start a discussion!
I am a very young 50 year old who is very clean, tidy and has their own life but also tired of living alone. Looking for 30 - 50 year age bracket who values their own space but likes to be social on occasions. I have minimal furniture, lounge, TV, fridge and bedroom furniture. Looking for someone to share the rent and utilities, whilst I value my own time and space, it would be nice to come home to some conversation and a glass of vino on occasion.
