I’m moving to Darwin in January to work as a teacher, I’ll also be completing my masters so I’ll be pretty busy. I’m from Melbourne and I’m neat and clean and loveable. I enjoy cooking fish tacos and homemade pasta and drinking red wine and cold beers. Obsessed with dogs. Will cross the street and call out to strangers to pat their dog. I clean kitchens when I’m stressed. Would love to live with other professionals and people who would like to share a drink here and there but I also love to retreat and have my own time.
I'm clean and tidy, love animals, cooking and exercising. I am handy around the house with fixing things and will definately help with shared chores. I am looking for a quiet place to study and housemates that dont mind sharing a meal or having a social drink every now and again but respect each others privacy. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions 😊.
Hi, I'm Millie (26), and I am moving to Darwin in January to work full-time as a Judge's associate. I've lived in share houses for the last seven years and I enjoy cooking, gardening and socialising with flatmates after work/on the weekends. I am a tidy and considerate housemate and I love animals so would be very happy in a house with pets. I love the outdoors and am really looking forward to going bushwalking and camping in the NT, as well as getting to know Darwin and its surrounds. I'm available to interview/move in from Jan 4 onwards. Please feel free to contact me if you are looking for a housemate. I'm looking for somewhere long term but also happy to consider a shorter term stay if it looks like a good fit! Thank you!
I am very tidy and mindful of others in shared spaces. Love good quality chats, wine/beer/gin and food. Love outdoors - sunsets, jogging, camping, etc. Work full time and do a bit after hours unless there are good quality chats over wine/beer/gin to be had.
I'm a Spesh Ed teacher from Sydney, who has been living in the NT for a couple of years. I have just spent a little over 2 years teaching in a remote community, so am pretty pumped about brunch and bottle shops. I enjoy a lot of things - live music, dancing, books, travel, hiking, art, movies, red dirt, geckos, snakes from a safe distance - basically I can have a chat about most things that aren't sport or fishing. As a flatmate, I'm fairly chill. I place myself at mid range on the hygiene scale - not uptight, but I don't like finding other people's nail clippings on the dining table. I contribute to upkeep and love having a gossip and a giggle, while generally being a fairly independent person. As I am going to be starting a very intense job in 2019, I would like minimal hassles in my home life. In my old age, I have come to appreciate limited noise pollution on school nights. My contract is for 6 months, but there is a high chance of it extending beyond this, so I am looking for somewhere to settle. I am hoping to find a furnished room and mellow, respectful people to share a living space with :)
Hi, I’m a 25 y/o easy going guy, very neat and tidy. Easy to get along with. I like going out and I like to have a few drinks with ppl of an afternoon or weekend I’d like the be in a house with some people the same ages as myself, and if we can all have a few drinks and a laugh I’m always down for a great time . I like to get out and about on the weekends either fishing, 4wding or riding my dirtbike. . Full time job and I go away with work every now and then. I do have a dog. She’s very quiet and very well behaved. I’d like to make new friends as well.
Hiya! My name is Katharine but most call me KP. I've just arrived in Darwin and would love to find a nice home to live with some new friends. I can move in December or January (very flexible). I moved here to work with women in prison. The last 2+ years I've spent living in Cambodia doing human rights/ women's empowerment work. I like to think I'm a fun, social housemate. I refill the ice cube trays... I have a big ol' green thumb and will probably cultivate a little forest in the home... I like hosting occasional dinner parties, hiking & kayaking, 80s power ballads, and have been known to rock a dress up party on occasion. I make an excellent Bowie. Being reasonably social I'm not always home around dinner time, but when I am home I like to hear how your day was and maybe share a wine or beer. That said, I've just returned to social work, so sometimes I come home exhausted. If my housemates want to explore the great outdoors on the weekend, that would be great - otherwise and I can find those people elsewhere. Ideally I'm looking for a place with lots of nature, a relaxing veranda and a nice common area. I prefer the house to be TV-less but don't really mind either way. If that sounds ok to you, I'd love to hear from you. Cheers!
Recently moved to Darwin from Melbourne for work. I’m a health professional and I work full time but enjoy a glass of wine and chats after work and like to keep active, always up for a gym buddy! and go out on the weekends. I’d love to know more people in Darwin but enjoy my downtime as well. Looking forward to living with and meeting new people! Please drop me a message if you have a room available for viewing or you can text me on 0451001835
Hola .. I'm Dave .. 32 and work as a physio. I enjoy attempting to stay fit, cooking, catching up with friends, brunch, grabbing a beer somewhere, going camping and hiking, daydreaming about surfing, watching sunsets and the odd game of FIFA. One thing is for certain .. you're definitely more than welcome to throw your gear in my 4wd and come adventuring / camping :D I'm looking to live in a house with great housemates that has a family vibe going on .. Family dinners, outrageous boardgame nights .. you name it. Pick me 😁
Hey all! Looking for a room in a furnished share house (bedroom itself I can furnish). Recently moved to Darwin, looking for somewhere to stay for around a year preferably. Working full time in Casuarina so hoping to live cycling distance from there. I'm easy going and considerate, always on time with bills and am tidy. I'm independent and generally like to do my own thing. That said I'm proactive when it comes to sharing the responsibilities that come with share-housing. Open to different kinds of living spaces. Try me! Moving dates are flexible, need to be out of my current house by late January but happy to move earlier for the right place. Thanks for reading :)
I currently work at Inpex as an electrician so when im not working im enjoying my time fishing in my boat, or heading out to explore the bush and swimming holes. I am renting in stuart park right now but my lease is up in January. My roommate has left darwin and I'm not looking to sign a new lease so I'm looking forward moving into something new. I'm clean and tidy and very relaxed, always easy to get a long with and up for a chat. I dont mind a beer after work and really like making new friends. I will need somewhere to park my boat off the street though it's only a small tinnie. I love to cook so happy to treat the house to meals from time to time. Always very respectful of others, and I'm always happy and enjoying life.
I’m a 24 year old physiotherapist new to darwin and looking for a more long-term accommodation option. I’m very respectful of personal space, but would love to live with someone who would also like to be social and get out and about every now and then. Outside of work I enjoy the gym, getting outdoors, and the occaisional drink.
Im chilled and love a good natter , however I also respect if you need your quiet time. Im clean and tidy, lived in house shares before and I never had any issues with my roomies. Im not a party girl, however I like to be social but won't bring the party home. Im new to Darwin so would be lovely to meet some new interesting people. I am working full time in the city 8.30 to 5pm, on a permanent contract. Look forward to meeting you all. I have my own personal internet and netflix etc so not required. Also have written 3 months but maybe longer. Look forward to meeting you all cheers Rachelle
I'm a full time pharmacy student studying at CDU, I moved up to Darwin from Sydeny recently and love it. Im an easy going, tidy, respectful person. Looking for a place for Feb 2019.
Hello :) My Name is Ainslie, I'm 23 and I currently live in Adelaide, South Australia. I'm moving to Darwin due to being relocated for work, I work at a bank full time and will commence on the 7th of January. I'll be arriving to Darwin in the first week of January. I’m super easy going and always up for a laugh. I enjoy spending time trying new things and having adventures. Love a good brunch, having a drink on the weekend, but also enjoy my own time. I've always lived with other people so I'm mindful of other peoples space and clean up after myself. Looking forward to this new chapter in life and finding a nice home. Thanks, Ainslie :)
Hi there, I am Swiss-Australian, returning to Darwin in December. I previously lived in Darwin for 6 years (2011 to 2018). I currently spend one year in Switzerland, my country of birth. While Switzerland truly is "perfect" it's time to return home... my friends are in Darwin and I love the open spaces. Job and car.... all organised for my return. I do housesitting until mid January. Looking for long term for 2019 or longer. I am very clean, mature and reliable with plenty of Aussie references. I am looking for a comfy home with a bed and a nice flatmate. Most of the time I am outdoors, around East Point or out bush. Very independent but love to have a drink with my flatmate. Please send me a message if you are interested.
Both Full-time workers, when not working we are at the gym or out an about hanging with friends. Been living in Darwin for 8 years and will be leaving in April. Need somewhere to live between end of lease and moving interstate.
Hi, I've moved up from Katherine, currently working as an apprentice chef, looking for a place close to my work in the city. I'm pretty quiet and clean, not a big party person, only flaw is that I'm a smoker, tho I do promise to keep it outside the house and clean up after myself. Looking to move in sometime in the new year, I don't need a fully finished room but a place with a bed would be great since I don't currently own one.
