Hello people, I’m looking for a relaxed/clean/positive environment to call my home. I have loads of cool stories to share, I always clean up after myself (and others sometimes, I prefer a clean space) and I’m super super chilled about pretty much everything. My roommates are honestly more important than the place or location to me so if you're positive, driven and openminded then I'd love to combine forces with you. I'm looking to thrive, not survive in my new home. I'm from Zimbabwe but have grown up in Australia, I love broadening my horizons and the horizons of those around me. I love sharing knowledge and wisdom and receiving it in return. My main virtues are honesty, integrity and compassion. I like to believe in all things spiritual and deeply meaningful, I will be personally offended if the only thing you can talk about is the cutie at gym. In saying that I am not full on by any means and 'just chillen' is used way too often in my vocabulary. I like to stay healthy and be my best self while encouraging others to do the same, I am one of the best listeners in the world too, I literally love listening and will know when you just need a vent and actually want advice. Though I'm very much 50/50 when it comes to enjoying my own space and hanging with roomies. If you can picture this going down well then please don't hesitate to reach out to me.
Looking for something short term for myself and my doggo before I shoot off to America for a month. I am on a budget and don’t require much. I am happy, kind and respectful of privacy. Tidy and quiet. If I’m not in my room I’m out and about visiting friends. I have a gorgeous little girl dog who’s inside majority of the time, asleep on my bed. She is house trained and doesn’t bark but suffers from anxiety so doesn’t do well with other pets. She loves people and cuddles
Hello! I am studying Nutrition and Dietetics full time at Griffith and looking for a relaxed share house close by. I spend most of my time at uni/studying and on weekends I work as a Lab assistant in Brissy, soo you wont see much of me. I would like to find friendly roomies, who don't mind a friend or two of stopping by, and who are mabey up for the ocassional cheeky wine 😁 I am more than happy to do my share of housework and cook for us. Hope to hear from you soon! Long Term Only.
Looking for a quiet place to get my study done. My Staffy Xena is 7yrs old, well trained, luvs everyone, great with other pets (even likes cats) she is a small girl. I like a glass of red but don't like a hangover, enjoy movies, walking my dog, going camping and I have a good sense of humour. Jen Come on people I'm a nice person and I have 7 days left.
Hey there, I'm an easy to get along with fella, quiet, clean and tidy. Around home I tend to usually be couped up somewhere doing my homework (I'm an insufferably slow reader!), enjoy a laugh with housemates, also enjoy time to myself. Looking for a good balance between the two. When not around the house, I am at uni Monday - Wednesday, train with my bro 3-5 times a week, and often out fishing. I've also booked in to do my PADI diving course. So anyone with similar interests will be a bonus! I prefer a room with my own bathroom where possible. I also have my own bedroom furniture, so the room will need to be unfurnished or have storage space for it, having said that, I don't have much stuff. The bulk of it is bedding stuff. In housemate's I am looking for reliability and honesty in those I share with, guests are OK to stay, but it would be nice to consult everyone before hand and not all the time. I've had some emails from great potential places, however I need off-street parking please. The suburbs I've put in are a rough area in which I'd prefer to live. If you have a property in areas near, I'm interested in having a chat also. This sounds a little terse, oops. I find it's easier to be concise in the ad.
I am currently in Europe, been here since the start of the year. I will be returning home to the Gold Coast in October. I work at the Gold Coast Hospital, therefore would like to find a place close to work. I am easy going and down to earth, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I am also studying online completing my business degree. I am social but also appreciate my own time. If you have any further questions feel free to message me.
I'm a uni student who is planning to study medicine - looking for long term student accomodation. I'm originally from Sydney, who's lived in England and grew up on the Gold Coast during high school and I'm planning to stay here for the next few years! I am a chatty, yoga loving, salsa dancing girl who's happy to turn housemates into friends. I study full time and work so I am out the house a fair bit but I'm happy to make a house a home by being a friendly, stress free housemate by sharing chores and keeping the house tidy. I will be looking to move into a new place by mid October so please get in contact if you're looking for a fun, friendly and easy going housemate.
Hello My name is Ben I am 26 and recently moved here from the UK. I was in the British Army for 7 years I left in February and moved out here it be with my brother who lives here. I Am very clean and tidy and a very easy going and chilled person, if I’m not working one of my 3 jobs or in the gym you will usually find me sunbathing by the pool or beach!
I like to keep to myself mostly, but will socialise with others. I love cooking and am very clean. I keep my mess contained in my own space and don't like going into other peoples spaces and touching other peoples things without permission. I'm a student at Griffith, studying my second year of journalism. I am an animal lover, so if you have pets this is no issue. I am more of a cat person but I love dogs too (although I've never had one) I'm not a fan of birds though... (I don't like their noise) I don't have a car or licence (mostly because of financial reasons) so if you were to offer a room, would you please ensure that there is easy access to public transport to Griffith, short walking distance is good. If I need to go somewhere, I usually ensure I can get there on my own, but carpools and lifts would be greatly appreciated (but I wouldn't ask for this very often). I'm currently waiting for approval from centerlink about a youth allowance claim. That may take another week or two from the time of this listing (and if they actually approve my claim), so please understand that I may not be able to secure a room very quickly without it. If anyone is interested in doing a team up or offering a spare room, I've got only one main request. It has to be an LGBT, especially trans, safe space.
Hi! I study at Griffith, Gold Coast and live in Brisbane so I'm looking to lessen my commute. I am friendly, tidy, always up for a chat and a cheeky glass of wine, but know the value of privacy. Feel free to chuck me a message -- I look forward to hearing from you :)
Very hard working, honest, reliable, up front single dad with full time 3yo daughter and cute little dog looking for room or grannyflat. Always pay on time, always respectful and honest, have my own king bed suite, dryer/ washer, fridge etc. She is in kindy Monday and Friday, I am a busy airtasker doing handyman, welding, plastering jobs. They both love coming on jobs with me and when not on jobs we are busy at parks, beach, or cooking and chilling. I am an outside smoker and occasional drinker, not into partying or drugs, at all so looking for similar please.
Hey my names Gavin and I'm a student studying at Griffith. I am hoping to find a place to stay which is close to uni or a G Link tram station and cheaper than what I'm paying at the moment. I'm a really laid back guy, super nice and chill, pretty minimal, love having a couple drinks here and there, but also know that everyone needs their personal time. I hope you’ll consider me as a potential roomie :)
Really clean and nice guy, always love a good chat and respectful towards privacy, quiet most the time but weekends I love a good beer and banter , easy to get along with , love all sports , from Noosa but Gold Coast is my second home :) intentions to join the army next year but currently working full time as a landscape/gardener .
Ok, I have found a housemate to share a lease with but in the interim I need somewhere temporary to stay, no more than 2 or 3 weeks? I don't mind where. Motels every night are just way too expensive.... Hit me up and let me know what you have. No more than 150 pw thanks. PLEASE READ MY POST BEFORE REPLYING. I HAVE HAD REPLIES FROM OTHERS WITH ALTERNATE AGENDAS AND I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THEY ARE NOT OF INTEREST TO ME. I WILL KNOW IF MY POST HASN'T BEEN READ. So as not to complicate things, I just want to share a lease with one other similarly interested person. I'm young at heart, so no one should be too put off with sharing with an 'oldie' such as myself, but mature-aged would suit better. And someone looking for something permanent, as opposed to a short time-frame..... I have decided that I will broaden my chances and find somewhere as far as Beenleigh. Any takers? :D I am sociable but at the same time I value my privacy very much, and my quiet time. I love animals and have a fat old fluffy cat. I'm ONLY interested in sharing with ONE other and I need a place with a lock up garage, according to my car's comprehensive insurance conditions. I love markets and garage sales, I really enjoy attending auctions too. I love a quiet read too and travel. I enjoy a laugh and do enjoy making others laugh. I pick up occasional work as a bond cleaner or teacher aide for now, as I am in a temporary lease share situation that isn't my ideal, so I want to get settled before I can start full time work, and not upset the rhythm of life any more than I already have for myself...and new workplace.
I'm a full-time student at Griffith University. I'm a very tidy and considerate person. I keep to myself. I enjoy cooking, working out, movies and music. I'm looking for an unfurnished room which I'd be able to move my queen-sized bed and my desk into, preferably with a private bathroom. I'd like to move into a place in October.
Hi, my name is Sam and I am looking for a new possible place to stay starting September! I am 21 years old and currently in my second year of Nursing at Griffith University. I also work part-time. I consider myself a respectable, clean, and independent person. I generally keep to myself, but don't mind a bit of social interaction. I am a non-smoker and hardly-ever drink alcohol.
I would like to think that I am a relaxed, friendly and thoughtful Sydneysider who is working full time running my own education business. I am looking for a studio or granny flat for 3+ months as I spend my time with my girlfriend who is studying at Griffith University (living separately) whilst I also maintain work at a local share space. I will be spending time back and forth between Sydney so will be paying for a room that will sometimes also be vacant. I enjoy travelling, sports, meeting new people, enjoying a laugh, and hearing other people’s passions (wow that sounds deep). No share room requests please
I am a future PhD candidate at Griffith University, moving to the Gold Coast from Germany in October (looking to rent from around 12th October which is when I will arrive). I have spend about two years in Australia previously and look forward to finding great people to live with again. I am quiet, tidy, cheerful and do not smoke nor drink. I am quite active, love travelling, sports (soccer, karate), reading and photography. I will probably spend most of my time at uni and will not be home much during the day. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get on touch. :-)
