Hi! I’m Gaëtan, a 24 yo French PhD student at UniMelb, looking for a place to live starting April 1st. Pretty quiet, I like to spend a decent amount of time chilling in my room, in the lounge or backyard, but I will always be up for a chat, a meal or a drink in a pub. I am a sports fan and enjoy playing football and having a good run. I am clean, respectful of the place and easy going. I look forward to meeting you!
Hi I'm Ugurcan! 25 year old originally from Turkey but moved out from Turkey for working and studying to Melbourne. I am an Civil Engineer and working full time at design company. Looking for a private room in a flat with a cool group of people to live with that loves to socialise together but also doesn't mind some downtime alone! I'm super tidy and enjoy cooking however can be easily persuaded into a cheeky uber eats over an ep of bachy.
I'm a Masters of Science student at University of Melbourne. I'm from New Zealand and just moved to Melbourne in Feb 2019. In my spare time I enjoy baking sourdough, rock climbing, tramping, and reading. I'm quiet, clean, and respectful, and I'm looking for a flat with other similarly-minded tenants.
Hey all! I’ve recently relocated to Melbourne, originally from Brisbane but spent 8 years living and working in the USA. I dance professionally for work and in my down time I enjoy some sneaky exercise, getting out and about enjoying the city I’m in or just simply relaxing and recharging and either cooking or eating yummy vegan food! Just seeing what’s out there and hoping to find a lovely place, whether that be a share house or a studio, and connect with some lovely people! No real flatmate preference, just be honest, down to earth and kind ☺️
Hi, my name is Christian. I’m a 22 year old farm boy wanting to experience city life. I enjoy podcasts, Netflix, cooking/eating healthy and adventure sports. I appreciate art, and I like learning new things. I’m respectful of others belongings and personal space. Open minded and won’t Judge. I like doing my own thing but happy to hang out or lend a hand if I can. I clean up after myself and want to live with people who are tidy as well. Thinking of studying in the future but not sure which direction to go in. I am currently casually employed as a labourer in the Macedon Ranges. So looking for rooms available to sublet in the northern suburbs close to M79.
I’m currently working as a personal trainer after finishing uni last year. I like to think that I’m pretty fun and easy going, always keen for a chat or a chill hang. I’m generally pretty tidy, but nobody’s perfect. I also have a coffee pot in the shape of R2-D2 if that helps sweeten the deal :)
Love to keep fit! Going gym and exercising is a daily for me. Always up for a new adventure and anything outdoors. Easy going and keep to my self mostly tho always up for a chat and do enjoy the some beers on the weekend. A Clean and well looked after living area is important to me and looking for people with a similar mindset.
25 year old male originally from country Victoria. Resided in Melb for the past 6 years. I am accustomed to sharehousing and like to think im a chilled and fun housemate. Working full time whilst completing studies, so this takes up majority of my time. Into playing tennis/golf/basketball, going out for good food/drinks, or just spending the night in front of netflix. Looking for a warm and relaxed place to call home. I value keeping things clean and tidy but am not obsessive about.
I'm an engineer by trade working in environment for a mining company. Mostly office based in Southbank, but get out to site once in a while. Enjoy watching/playing sports & fitness, most weeknights spent in the gym! Enjoy going out for a drink and socialising. Quirks include a passion for 80's metal and an interest in chess. Other than that, mostly grown up in Melbourne and love it...pretty sure I'm going to die here! Mainly looking for someone I would get along with to share a place - this is more important to me than location or the place itself :)
Hi, I'm a very friendly, tidy guy who loves to have a laugh with people, I enjoy having a few beers at home and going out. I also like to have chilled night also. Message me if you want to know more
Hello! I'm an Animal Studies graduate who's about to start a certificate in Companion Animal Services. I have three rats Milo, Drac and Lucy. They're old, young, beautiful and sleepy. If you have an animal, or more than one, I could take care of them while you're away. I'm hoping to find a housemate who's able to do the same for me. The rats are caged and easy to care for. I set up automatic payments so my rent goes through effortlessly. I'm happy to help around the house as I'm generally clean, tidy and organised. It may be obvious, but I want to live with more animals. I like built-in robes, open communication, dumpster diving, recycling and relaxing. It would be cool if you do too. I'll consider anywhere within half an hour of Broadmeadows. Please message me if you think you might have a suitable place!
hi i'm looking for a private room to rent in melbourne center or around . i'm friendly , clean , pet friendly , easy to talk and happy to help.
My name is Ali, I'm 38 and working. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. I wish to be somewhere more centralised where public transport and amenities are more available, not to mention be closer to family and friends.
I am looking for a room somewhere close to the airport as that's where I will be working. I am an easy going, respectful, clean and tidy person. I enjoy hanging out with friends and binge watching netflix
Hi im 35 driver for Moonee Valley coaches. Going through a relationship break up I'm kind respectful peaceful and like my own space im a dad of 4 i like my sport and love my family very much.
I’m looking for a place as I fly in and out each week as my partner has moved interstate for work. I would be in Melbourne for between 3 and 4 days mostly during the week. A bit about me, Im 31 year old guy and I’m originally from the U.K. My partner Sarah and I moved to Melbourne about 4 years ago. She’s temporarily moved to Tasmania for work and hence I’m needing to houseshare instead of renting two places out at the same time. Very occasionally, Sarah may want to fly over for a visit to Melbourne too but this would not be very often. I have a really good full time job in the city within the energy industry. I love a glass of red and love animals too
Hey there, and thanks for checking out my profile. This is lenghty, so please give yourself a couple of minutes. I'm moving from Ballarat to Melbourne with work in the upcoming month and looking for a spacious room to call my own. As Darryl Kerrigan once said, "It's not a house … it's a home," and to be perfectly honest, that's what I'm kinda looking for in potential housemates with how they live with others in the place. From experience with other houses, your home is what you make it, and while I have a life outside of work and friends, I'm always happy to hang out with housemates when home (though I do like my own time too). Here's a bit about me: I'm extremely friendly, reliable, easy-going and understanding, honest, a good listener, occasionally funny (depends on your humour) and can be adaptable to new surroundings and relate to people from all walks of life. I grew up in Tassie, but moved to Victoria 3 years ago and have lived in Melbourne, Mildura and Ballarat since then, moving for work each time, but looking to stay permanently in Melbourne this time for the foreseeable future. I also do a lot of photography and spend a lot of time editing on my computer. And I'm a bit of a coffee fiend so I'll be sure to check out somewhere new for a social occasion. I'm a non-smoker, and I have no pets (but I absolutely love and adore dogs and like cats too). I don't like racists, homophobes, or bigots. I'm happy to come home and catch up on each other's day with housemates, or get a good reading on just having a quiet night to yourself and respect privacy if we all feel that way as well. I'm not the needy type that requires attention or socialising, but happy to listen to other's day. What I do when I'm not home: I work full time at the ABC (in Southbank) across radio, video and online on a flexible roster over 7 days. This involves regular weekend work. I go to a lot of gigs so if you like a band, chances are I've probably seen them. I also go to a lot of sport (I can talk footy or basketball all day), and spend a good amount of time on the road driving from Ballarat to Melbourne and back, or other regions of Australia with work as I love regional life. I'm a pretty active and busy person so I tend to be in and out a lot, and may occasionally have friends over for catchups, or be at their place. What I'm looking for in a room/house: Something with enough space to fit a queen sized bed and a couple of other furniture items like my TV, clothes hanging racks and a room to make my own. I'm also a big fan of just having somewhere to relax (I like to hang in common areas like the lounge room, or a backyard, etc). I'm not too fussed about sharing a bathroom as I'm a pretty clean person, and if something in the house needs doing, cleaning or fixing, I'll just do it. I'm basically just looking for similar like-minded and self-sufficient reliable and professional housemates that can co-exist easily, be clean, treat the place as you'd like others to treat it, and not be too needy from others. I have a breadmaker that will fill the house with bakery-like aromas, and also a coffee machine that I use daily. When I'm looking to move: I'm looking for something from now until the end of the year at the least as my partner is looking to move from Ballarat late this year/early next year and hope to find a place for ourselves at that point. So for now, I'm happy with anything 9-12 months (possibly longer depending on my partner's move) if that suits. I'm flexible on moving dates, but I'd rather have something lined up by mid-late April or so, so that I'm not commuting for work from Ballarat 5 days a week. Thanks for getting this far. I know it's been a long ride, but you've obviously maintained interest in the autobiography here. I figured it's good to write more than less so you can decide if you like me or not. If I sound like the kind of human you could call your housemate, please send me a message :) Thanks! Damo
Hi Everyone, We are a couple, moving to Melbourne in June/July and are looking for somewhere to share and rent for approximately 6 months, with the possibility of staying longer. We are clean, friendly and social, but also like to have our down time too. We have both lived in shared accommodation before and are very considerate housemates. We both work fulltime, and like to be active so we will be out and about frequently. Please feel free to get in touch if you feel you have something that fits! Stella and Simon

24 year old looking to live with one other person preferably with a small pet, as I have a mini dachshund and she hates being lonely. I’m a mental health worker/child protection worker. I do shift work, I don’t mind drinking and socialising (I love it actually) but I do have an equal balance of downtime and socialise outside of the house. I’m happily single, so don’t worry about partners coming to stay over that will never happen. I’m originally from Qld, I have lived in Melbourne for 8 months in share houses and just looking to settle down with 1 other person. I’ve found a perfect apartment in reservoir, https://www.realestate.com.au/property-townhouse-vic-reservoir-425981506 If that becomes unavailable, I’d be looking for something similar. Where there’s privacy for both people but also affordable. I’m out of town on a working holiday from 17th March - 1st April. But looking to start applying for places ASAP, so when I come back we can move straight in. I have lounging/dining/laundry furniture, but you’re welcome to bring some too. We would just need to sort out kitchen stuff. Bond ready and have a great rental history! Other than that, please let me know if you need any other information. Thank you
I’m an easy going, honest and friendly person. Enjoy socialising but also a fan of quiet times here and there. I work full time and currently live in mill park, looking to move into a place with someone close(ish) in age to me.
I am new to Melbourne and looking for a bedroom with en-suite, hopefully near a train station. I am easy-going, tidy, also respectful of personal space. I am Indian, have recently moved from Florida where I lived and worked for a couple of years and love traveling and exploring the world!
Hello everyone, my name is Juan, I am a 28 yo Colombian engineer who is studying the master of environment at The University of Melbourne. I am a friendly person, easygoing, clean and organized. I like sports specially tennis, reading and having good conversations with a cup of coffee. I am also a quiet person as I spend most of the time reading and doing my assignments. By the way, I have my own queen size bed. Thank you!
We’re both students and also working part time so during the day we’re either at uni or at work. We’re clean, hygienic and friendly. Mostly stay to ourselves but open to frequent chats as well. Happy to answer any other questions. Thanks.
23 year old single gal originally from little old Adelaide. Currently training to be a youth justice worker and looking for a fun, positive room in a share house that i can hopefully call home.
