I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs.
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
I have been offered a new position in canberra for a duration of 18 months to 2 years. A little bit about me, I came to Australia since 7 years old, fluent in English, mandarin, cantonese, some vietnamese, and prefer to live with someone who can speak french as I am working for french company Thales, but I am a senior IT system engineer. I am active (into swimming and cycling), love music (jazz, pop and play guitar), also planning to join the army reserve to get fit. I love to watch stand up comedy. I am clean and easy adapt to most situation(s). I am sensitive to odour and looking flatmates who are responsible and respect the rule and privacy of others. I don't smoke but do drink occasionally (Red Wine if I am at home, beers if in a pub with friends). Please donot hesitate to contact me if you feel I am a good fit.
I'm a 33 year old female, soon to be working full time in Barton. I've worked in State Government for about 13 years, private industry the last few and am about to start a role with a national industry body. I've lived solo for most of the last decade so am used to a quiet house, am very big on 'me time' and most definitely 'house trained'. It would be great to have a chat and laugh over dinner etc when we are both home simultaneously. I enjoy being fit and healthy, exercising most days and loving delicious, fresh, healthy food to energize me through the day.
Im 26, a part-time student and work 2 part-time jobs. I love cooking, gardneing, crafts and nature activities. Looking a room anywhere in or around the ACT fo $150/wk or less. Need to move between now and mid-April.

I'm a final year student at ANU and looking for a friendly share-house. I'm a pretty clean and organised person. I don't smoke but I do enjoy a good chat over some drinks anytime. Generally, I like to read to de-stress and chill out watching netflix or horror movies if my housemate is keen. I'm a super chill person with almost no trigger points so I'd like to live with easy going people who can share a good laugh about anything.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
I'm moving to Canberra for 2 months to work on the Mexican Embassy, I'm very responsible, easy going, punctual with payments and self-suficient (i know how to do laundry, clean the house, cook, iron my clothes and even change lightbulbs and fix sinks) I love to meet new people and go on adventures

Hi! I'm Alex, moving up to Canberra from Adelaide to start a grad job in the APS. I've just finished a business degree at Adelaide uni. I'm easygoing, optimistic and enthusiastic. I'm just as happy meeting new people or spending time with housemates as I am curled up somewhere with a book. I love cooking (pancake Sundays, omelette breakfasts, stew nights anybody?), comedy, hiking, markets, brunch. I also enjoy good banter, puns, camping and relaxed weekend cycling. In my free time I like to read, explore new places and travel - though coming to terms with only four weeks off per year might be a challenge! I'd love to share with interesting, relaxed people who are up for a chat and a glass of wine/bowl of food occasionally. I've lived in sharehouses before and am happy to do my bit to keep a nice home. I've previously worked as a dishwasher and a prep cook - would love somewhere with a good kitchen. I'll be bringing/buying some new gear, too. I also don't smoke and I don't have any pets. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex
Hey there! I'm a bubbly 19 year old girl working full time in Manuka as a dental nurse. For fun I like to hang out with friends, go out drinking and watching Netflix. Most weekends I go home to my home town in Bredbo. I'm a bit of a neat freak so ideally I'd like to live with someone who likes to keep things clean. I like to keep to myself most the time but I'm always up for a chat. What I'm looking for in a house is just somewhere I can be myself. Thanks, Lauren.
Hi! I have recently moved up here for work. As I work full time down in Tuggeranong, I am looking to share a house on the south side, however, depending on the house/price etc, I could live anywhere that's close to transport. I have a car as well so some form of parking is a must. I have all the usual qualities you would expect from a flatmate - reliable w/ rent and bills, clean, respectful, sociable. I play music (piano and a bit of drums) but keep the noise between business hours ;) I am looking to pay a max of approx. $220 per week, but can be flexible. Please get in touch if you have any questions or offers. Looking to move by mid April at the latest! Ta Owen
I'm a mature working professional, responsible and will keep everything clean and in good order! I'll be moving to Canberra from Malaysia soon. Am pretty stringent about cleanliness, but easy-going about the rest. Friendly but happy with my own company, not into loud parties or socialising, and respectful of personal space and belongings. Non-smoker. Looking only for an ensuite room, one-bedroom apartment or granny flat.
Hello, My name is Daniel. I am a 21 year old Young professional working in the security industry as a security officer full-time. I've lived in Canberra for the last six months in a share house. I like to keep the place clean and tidy, as the house mates i currently have do not. I am currently looking for somewhere else to live. I have been described as a very happy, respectful and considerate guy. I like to have a chat if and when needed. Plus help where ever i can. I like to exercise and practice martial arts professionally for fun.
I'm originally from Brisbane, and have just moved down to Canberra to start a grad job with one of the departments down here. I'm 26, and have lived in sharehouses back in Brisbane, so I understand that space and privacy are important, and that everyone needs to pitch in to keep the place clean and tidy. I've travelled a little bit (I spent about 11 months in Latin America) and want to do more at some point. I speak a little bit of Spanish as well, so I'm always looking to improve on that. I like going to the movies, particularly the foreign film festivals, but I'm definitely no connoisseur. Likewise, a Netflix binge is a favourite to chill out after work. I like to read, but definitely don't do as much of it as I'd like to, but I hope to change that this year. I also like watching sport (cricket, rugby union, NRL, I'm getting more into the AFL). Given I'm new to Canberra, I'm keen to get out and do stuff on the weekends, and meet new people, and I certainly wouldn't be averse to becoming friends with my housemates.
My name is Szymon and I'm starting my full-time PhD studies in philosophy at ANU late February. I'm 28 yo and Polish. People say I'm fun; I don't intend to be too fun though and I spend most of the time reading/writing. I've got a generous scholarship, so don't worry about me paying rent on time or something. I have an office at ANU and I will be working from there (or from a library). When at home, I sleep a lot, like to cook (mostly vege but I'm very flexible in terms of food) and read. The noisiest think I can imagine doing are pushups or sneeze. I'm tidy, great at small-talks and a left-bottom on the political compass. I'm not an extrovert or something and I have the deepest respect for people's privacy. I don't party a lot, I prefer to grab a beer in my place and have a chat about politics, literature, music etc.
Hello! I'm looking for laid back / easy going people who don't mind socialising but also enjoy their own space. I will be working full time as a Speech Pathologist so won't be around the house too much. I enjoy drawing, listening to good music, theatre and Seinfeld!
