Hi! I'm a 24 year old professional who is about to endure their second winter in Canberra after moving down from Queensland. I enjoy spending most of my spare time in the outdoors rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. I'm social yet also enjoy some me time, would enjoy long walks along the beach if Canberra had any, and am looking for housemates who have at least basic survival skills (keep tidy etc). Get in touch if you have a room and think I'd be a good housemate!
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
I'm just about to move up to Canberra to take up a role as a Sustainability Analyst. Looking for accomodation for a minimum of 3-6 months. I'm a little reserved initially but I really open up once I start getting to know people, and I'm always down to relax with people and really keen to make new friends in Canberra. I'm 25, easy going and love reading, spending time outdoors (and indoors). Really enjoy having a chat and getting to know new people. I'm clean and tidy so you won't have to worry about me tidying up after myself.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
Full-time postgraduate student and part-time bartender. Studying a medical degree so I tend to spend most of my time nerding out in my room, but I am also a big fan of good food and would love to chat over a shared meal. Ideally looking for people with an equally busy/professional lifestyle but who also wouldn't mind a chill weekend barbecue or cheeky weekday wine and cheese night.
I'm moving to Canberra for 2 months to work on the Mexican Embassy, I'm very responsible, easy going, punctual with payments and self-suficient (i know how to do laundry, clean the house, cook, iron my clothes and even change lightbulbs and fix sinks) I love to meet new people and go on adventures
Hey I'm Chris, another public servant looking for a new home. My current rental is getting sold, so I'm looking to move into or setup a share-house in the next month or so. I'm ideally looking for something relaxed, up for the occasional wine but also respectful of space. Prior to my current place I share-housed for a couple years. In my spare time I enjoy going for cycles, hikes, camping, the occasional canyon. Like many Canberrans I also go on fairly frequent road trips, and I'm looking forward to ski season. I own a decent amount of furniture so I could deck out a 2 bed, leaving only the bedroom for a potential house-mate to furnish. Although I'm also certainly open to selling some of my things.
Hi! I'm Alex, moving up to Canberra from Adelaide to start a grad job in the APS. I've just finished a business degree at Adelaide uni. I'm easygoing, optimistic and enthusiastic. I'm just as happy meeting new people or spending time with housemates as I am curled up somewhere with a book. I love cooking (pancake Sundays, omelette breakfasts, stew nights anybody?), comedy, hiking, markets, brunch. I also enjoy good banter, puns, camping and relaxed weekend cycling. In my free time I like to read, explore new places and travel - though coming to terms with only four weeks off per year might be a challenge! I'd love to share with interesting, relaxed people who are up for a chat and a glass of wine/bowl of food occasionally. I've lived in sharehouses before and am happy to do my bit to keep a nice home. I've previously worked as a dishwasher and a prep cook - would love somewhere with a good kitchen. I'll be bringing/buying some new gear, too. I also don't smoke and I don't have any pets. Hope to hear from you soon, Alex
(looking to move out by August) Hey there! I'm a bubbly 19 year old girl working full time in Manuka as a dental nurse. For fun I like to hang out with friends, fishing, drinking with mates and watching Netflix. Most weekends I go home to my home town in Bredbo. I'm a bit of a neat freak so ideally I'd like to live with someone who likes to keep things clean. I like to keep to myself most the time (usually being lazy watching Netflix in my bedroom) but I'm always up for a chat. What I'm looking for is a tidy house where I can be myself, occasionally have my friends over (although when drinking I do it at friends places so I don’t mess up mine haha) Thanks, Lauren! X
I am looking for a private unit with own bathroom and separate entry. My wife and I have received a sabbatical for about 7-months from ANU for the period of June 2018 to December 2018. We are the Ph.D students at age of 31-32 and are flexible to live in a small unit. Also, we will be in the university most of the times during our period of visit and it is not important the unit being more comfortable.
I'm really decent and easy going. I am reliable, clean and have good references. I'm a pastry chef by trade and am seeking accommodation for approximately a year in Canberra. I work full time and like to keep fit. I'm into cooking and film. Cheers, Craig.
I am an ex professional athlete now living in canberra working with the canadian high commission. I recently moved to canberra from Melbourne but have lived most my adult live in the USA.My name is John, I am 39 years old single, non smoker and have no pets. I work with the Canadian High Commission and am basically ready to move in right away. It might also be worth nothing that I can provide current security checks from 2 governments and a recent police check for any safety concerns. I spend little time in my current apartment as work keeps me fairly busy. When not there I am often at the gym or out in town. I have TVs, washing machine, dryer and many other items that if needed I could bring to the apartment. I am a qualified sommelier having studied in Stuttgart Germany and back in Melbourne.

I love dancing, I like ride a bicicle, I like soccer and swiming. I am very friendly and sociable. I love food. Finally I am neat and clean.
Hey! I'm a public servant looking to live closer to work. I am from Orange and have lived in Canberra for almost a year. I have five years experience of living in uni share accommodation. I'm easy going, clean and tidy. I love socialising and a good chat, but also respect people's space and privacy. I'm looking to team up and starting a share house or to find a room in an existing house preferably in mid May/early June. Feel free to contact me if you're interested.
We are a delightful couple who enjoy maintaining a clean and tidy home. Both of us work full time and David will study part time at ANU. We have a king sized bed and other furniture such as cabinets being shipped over from Perth. David and Emma are easy going and enjoy relaxing, spending time watching movies and being in the company of interesting people.
Hi, my name's Olivia. I'm 31 years old and I work full time as a lawyer in the APS. I am a friendly, tidy and considerate housemate. I work pretty hard and go to the gym most days. I also enjoy reading and am trying to write a book. I'm a considerate, tidy and friendly flatmate. I am fairly independent however it would be nice to share a house with someone who enjoys a good chat in the evenings and who I could share the occasional meal or drink with.
Hi, I’m transferring to Canberra with my employer and will be spending my time between there and Sydney, I am considerate, respectful and enjoy other company but understand when people need their own time.
