Hi, I'm Catherine. I'm starting a new public service job in Canberra in early Feb so I'm looking for a new home. I'm from Melbourne, and am planning on heading up to the ACT late Jan, but can be flexible and come earlier if that works too. I like the outdoors and the snow, bushwalking and running and I'm looking forward to exploring some of the cafes around Canberra. I'm fairly quiet these days, I don't drink, so I'm not looking for a party house. However, I'd love a chat and a coffee with my housemates. I love cats, so if you have one that's a plus!
I am a late 20s full time professional who is transferring from a military career into consulting work with Accenture Australia. I am originally from the country and enjoy a variety of past times including Cycling, Boxing, Gym, Tinkering with my car or computer and drinking fancy beer. I am a bit of a techie but also love to debate over politics and world news or the latest netflix. I will admit I am not a incredibly funny or party loving person but I am reliable for just about anything that needs doing (like finding out why our net is out again and paying rent on time). I have an old listing on here but I need to update. Send me a message!
I'm currently a full-time Masters student at ANU. I am friendly, clean, tidy and respectful of others' space. In my spare time I enjoy going for a hike, dancing or even just staying in for a Netflix marathon.

Hi, my name is Lockie. I'm a 21 year old professional who's just finished at ANU and am moving out of student accommodation. I am a relaxed, friendly and independent person, who is tidy and respectful. I love talking about movies, as well as playing board games and video games (although I can't say I'm very good at either). I'm looking for long term accommodation in the Canberra region.
Hey all, I'm 22 and a recent graduate moving to Canberra in 2018 for a full time job. I'm fun, respectful, and happy to hang out but also enjoy my own space. I am looking to move in somewhere for at least 12 months with people who are social, relaxed, and fun to be around. Send me a message if you have any questions :)
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
Katelyn and I are both Brisbane girls who have found jobs in Government. We are both very easy going people, social and tidy. Flexible with move in dates. I'm a 23yo New Zealander, moving to Australia to study a Masters in Environmental Science at ANU. I love travelling - I grew up in Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Armenia and I'm currently spending the "summer" interning in northern California. Hobbies - cooking, reading, tramping and hiking, fitness, Netflix. I've flatted for 5 years so I'm very tolerant and respectful, and I'm tidy and pretty quiet. I like socializing with my flatmates butI enjoy my me-time too, I'm good at going with the flow. I’m looking for a room solo until about June/July when my boyfriend Dave will be moving over from NZ to join me. So I’m interested in short-term single rooms or longer-term rooms that are suitable for couples :)
Hi :) Freya and I are moving to Canberra and looking for a sharehouse together. Freya is 28, studied and worked in Political Economy at Sydney Uni. Then she has been working in the community sector in Darwin and remote Aboriginal communities for 4 years. Now she is doing a masters of Education that is placing her at a high school in Tuggeranong for 2 years. Dave is 31, studied physical geography and Aboriginal studies. He has been living and working with Yolngu people in Arnhem Land for the last 10 years, becoming fluent in the language and working in the cross-cultural community sector. He's following Freya and will find work in a Uni/Parks/Guiding/something? We both like a supportive home with good communication where we all contribute what we can. We like to share dinner with housemates and hangout when it works for people, while balancing with own space. Freya will be pretty busy with her near-full time study and 0.8 teaching load. Dave will be making dinners and looking for part time work. We're both politically left-of-center and would like to live in a queer-friendly house with like-minded people. We've decided to make the move back south and have been sad to leave our lovely Darwin sharehouse, and we're looking for something similar. Hope to hear from you soon! Freya and Dave
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney in late January to start a full-time job with the Attorney General's Department. I'm looking for medium- long term accomodation though I'm quite flexible. I'm tidy, easy going and happy to catch up and relax over board games and a few drinks. I'm also respectful and responsible and would be more than happy to contribute to whatever the house needs. I like cooking (especially desserts), reading, watching movies/TV, hiking and going to the beach. I'm happy to talk over the phone or drive down and meet in person if you're interested!
I'm friendly and easy going, mostly keep to myself - but wouldn't mind occasional chats and a bit of a social house. I'll be starting full time work in Jan end. I like to keep the house tidy and am respectful of other housemates. I like to cook sometimes, read and have occasional outings with friends. I don't have a car, so would ideally like to live within walking distance (upto 10 minutes) from a main bus stop.
I've lived in Canberra for a few months now. My current housemate is moving out because of a new job in another state. I'm pretty relaxed and respectful of personal space. I'd also like to live someone who is reasonably tidy. I'm not overly talkative, but I think I'm a good listener. i enjoy playing and watching sport, watching TV shows, reading, playing video and board games and exploring the city.

I'm Roberta and am a third-year PhD candidate (International Relations/International Law) at UNSW Canberra. I'm returning to Australia after a year of field research in Brazil/USA and am looking for a place to live until I finish my studies. Before going overseas I transferred my degree from UNSW Sydney to the Canberra campus so I'd be looking for a quiet place but also to live with someone who would be keen to have a chat, have dinner every once in a while, and maybe to show me around the city sometimes. I'm Brazilian but have been in Australia for nearly 10 years and have mostly lived in shared places, so I am very clean, tidy, and respectful of other people's spaces and privacy. I do research full-time and work part-time as a research assistant at UNSW but I also do love binge watching tv shows, going for a hike, and finding good coffee places around town.
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
Hey there, I'm a school leaver from Sydney moving to study arts and political science full time at ANU and looking for long-term accommodation within public transport/walking/cycling distance. I'm an active, easygoing person keen on hiking, books, and meeting new people. As a housemate, I respect quiet, cleanliness, and massive parties. I will be looking for part-time job while studying so the particulars of my schedule are yet to be clarified. I presume that my routine will consist mostly of studying, work, and attempting to improve my cooking skills.
Hi, my name is Shelley. I am a 29 year old from Perth with a background in marine science and fisheries. I am moving to Canberra in January to do a Masters in Science Communication at ANU. I love nature and the outdoors and am super keen to go skiing while on the east. I am looking for a place close to ANU with clean and easy going non-smoking housemates (preferably with dogs and a garden too!). About me: I am fairly social - like a good dance and a glass of red, but am not a party animal and enjoy my quiet time too. I enjoy gardening and cooking and this year, I'll be away with my course for a couple of months over the course of the year.
I am moving from WA to commence work a permanent job with the Department of Defence and also I am an Army Reserves Officer Cadet. (i.e. good stable income and reliable renter). In addition, I am studying pt my postgraduate studies in the evenings too. I am a very quiet but sociable person, who is looking for a place to stay that is close to my new employment but also reasonably central. I have moved around for work and also for Reserves training. In all this locations or situations, I understood teamwork and mutual respect around the house. Importantly, I love good tv and I am interested in new cultural experience. (I have already been googling this in ACT).
I am a 23 year old Dane, who will be studying for one semester at ANU starting from mid February 2018 till June 2018. I am finishing my bachelor degree in media science, where I studied my first 5 semesters back in Denmark. I hope to have a great semester in Canberra, get some nice experiences and have the opportunity to meet new people. I characterize myself as a friendly, openminded and considerate person. In my spare time I like to be active, especially I like running. Also I like reading books, and I am really interested in movies and tv shows too (at the moment my favourite show is Black Mirror, it's awesome and also kind of disturbing). I have been living with two other roommates back in Denmark and I am used to sharing, cleaning and being a part of a houseshare.
Hello! I'm Olivia and originally from Florida but I've been living in Canberra since mid November. I'm seeking a room to rent for roughly 6 months. I've been staying in Braddon but my lease here will be up shortly. I work part time at a restaurant in the area and spend my weekdays at the airport studying aviation for my CPL H. I like to stay active and do a lot of walking, hiking and swimming. In my spare time, if I'm not out socializing, I'll be nose deep in books or a T.V. series. I'm very friendly and fun to spend time with and would be happy to have the occasional drink and dinner together. I enjoy my alone time though and am fully respectful of others needs for space as well. I'm very responsible and courteous when it comes to shared cleaning and other chores. I'm hoping to find a roommate as quirky as myself to share a flat with in the new year!
