I am a simple person who likes to be clean & tidy. Mostly you will find me engrossed in my computer. - IT professional - non-smoker - vegetarian - I respect others privacy & expect the same from them
Hi all! I'm a clean and tidy person who enjoys being social however also likes down time. I'd say I'm pretty outgoing and tend to get along with different types of people! I'm 25, studying and working part time and I always pay rent/bills on time. Currently live in a sharehouse so I'm familiar with sharehouse etiquette which I know can be a huge issue! Let me know if you think I might suit your house! Laura
Hey I'm Casey, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Perth to study journalism at La Trobe, Bundoora and I'm looking for somewhere to live close to Uni. Pretty happy to keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for a chat and a glass of wine after a long day. I'm pretty relaxed and love to cook, I'm clean and tidy and I think I would be a great addition to your household :)
I am a easy going and respectful guy. Happy to contribute with cleaning and cooking. I am a bit shy but soon as I get to know you I start to joke around a bit. I am studying IT at Bundoora so I can lend a hand if you have some computer issues here and there. If you call I can give you some references if you need.
Hi there, I am seeking a non-shared room, asap. Coming from Mildura, some work lined up. Preferably within 20kms of city. -Close to transport a must though!-no car. I am quiet, clean, reliable and very easy going. I would be out and about most days. ($150 p/w inc. bills max) All offers/replies appreciated...Thanks ;)
Im a down to earth person who is able to get along with most people. Im friendly and like a chat but also enjoy my own space and understand the need for personal space and privacy. I am clean and tidy and enjoy cooking. I am living of my regular superannuation payments. I pay my rent and bills on time.
Hey everyone! I'm a Melbourne born 27 year old working full time in the city and am currently looking to find a new place to call home for the next 6 - 12 months. I'm a very social and relaxed person and am looking to move in with people who don't mind having a chat and watching a movie or two, but are respectful that we all need our own downtime every now and then. I like to enjoy life, be it heading out for dinner or drinks, day trips to the beach or just settling back with a decent book or game.
Hey I'm Rory a gay typical Virgo, I keep everything in its place and clean always. I'm not at all loud except I do snore. I'm on a Carers pension for my father so I receive benefits every fortnight to cover the rent and other utilities. I'm shy at first but open up to people I warm up to. I love the footy and love animals. I'm not a big partier but don't mind a few Bundies watching a game or for a special occasion. I have usually appointments for myself or care for my Dad and Mum on each day so I am usually out during working hours. The weekend I love going to the gym. Also I don't have a license but I walk everywhere. I am a smoker. Pretty easy going laid back, just wanting some place to call my own little sanctuary.
Hey there! Recently my priorities have started revolving around cooking, music and writing. Recently a friend of mine said I'm a guy who is always up for anything so I can be a lot of fun. I love to relax and enjoy the comforts of a home as well.
Hi! My name is Giorgia and I am currently working full-time as a midwife in the city. This does mean I am a shift worker so my roster and working hours are a bit all over the place. I am therefore busy and will be in and out of the house, and sleeping at all times of the day and night. I am quiet and respectful when coming in and out, however I do not expect everyone else to be quiet during the day if I am sleeping-luckily I can sleep either way! I am a vegetarian enjoy gardening, being active if I have the energy, and reading/relaxing at home. I have lived out of home for many years and so have a good understanding of the need to be clean, respectful, and pay the bills on time. Looking for a 6-12 month lease, 12 months preferred. Flexible on location, so long as it is roughly 20min drive to city. I would like to find a place where we really enjoy each others company and we all become good friends, however I do also enjoy my own space and respect others as well. I am very interested in a team up to start a new share house. About the same age would be nice, no strict preference on gender. I come with an assortment of plants and a cat, Theo. He is three years old and very well behaved (indoor cat, Siamese). He is very friendly and loves nothing more than sleeping with people on the couch. He does not bite/scratch, or destroy furniture, minimal shedding. References (character/rental) for both Theo and myself are available upon request
My name's Daniel, I'm 25, and I work full-time for a small consulting company in Bundoora. I'm easy going, I like to keep fit (runs, gym, swim, etc.) and I'm well house-trained! I like a house with a little bit of energy but where everyone respects each others space. I'm keen to move to the Darebin area or other suburbs north of the city.
I'm hardly ever home and I'm clean. I have enough good quality furniture to fill a 2 bedroom apartment so preferably looking for a garage to store it. I come with 2 very friendly Burmese cats. I have 2 jobs so I'm not home much. I am a smoker (outside is fine) and don't pry into peoples lives. I respect privacy but i am friendly. I also prefer off street parking. I don't have crazy ex's or kids.
Studying psychology at ACAP and work freelance. I am a tidy, quiet person who is seeking accommodation near public transport due to no car. I enjoy cooking, writing, reading, volunteering, making friends, theatre, opera, music, eating out, working and walking. If we sound compatible contact me asap! Please note I have a well behaved small dog that's six years old. He's quiet, adorable and also loves other pets including other dogs and cats. I hope someone out there has a heart and will let us both stay as he is my only family and I'd hate to lose my companion. Thank you. At this point I'll move anywhere to keep my dog as he recently had costly and debilitating surgery. I am also a non drinker and non smoker.
Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities. Some of these are learning music, an eclectic array of DIY projects (from sewing to programming), and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. If not, best of luck regardless. Ollie.
Rohan is 36, studies horticulture, works part time as an accountant and plays a bit of music (bass and drums, but it doesn't have to be in the house if that disturbs the housemates). He enjoys growing veggies and has a contagious laugh 🙂 Agnese is also 36, from Italy. She just completed a PhD in Italian linguistics, currently teaching at Melbourne uni and La Trobe and doing some research work. Loves to cook and feed people. We recently got an ice-cream maker!! Lots of fresh seasonal fruit is turning into yummy gelato with no added sugar these days! Happy to share. Our common passions include camping, bike riding, bush walking, cooking amazing healthy meals from scratch with home grown ingredients! We are both financially secure, clean, tidy and quite experienced in share houses. Respectful, collaborative and good communicators.
Hello, I'm Giacomo. I'm a 28 years old PhD researcher at RMIT. I just moved here to Melbourne (I'm so glad I did - this place is amazing) and I'm looking for a private room to stay in. I'll be living off my scholarship so I'll have a steady income. I'm going to live here for at least three years and a half, so if I like the place you know it's going to be long term. I guess I could describe myself in more depth, but I'd rather have a chat at the place, or maybe I can buy you a cup of coffee down the street if you can spare the time. Please let me know if you want to arrange a visit, I'll come see the house as soon as I possibly can! Giacomo
I am currently living on my own though this has made saving a little difficult!! Never skip a beat when it comes to rent, bills etc... I work the Mon-Friday grind therefore I generally keep things pretty chilled during the week. The weekend I like to let my hair down so my friends and I will generally catch up over drinks. Music - Its easier to say what I don't like - Top 40, Aussie Hip hop, Metal (there are some exceptions) and most but not all country. I love going to festivals and gigs as much as I can. I am a clean person and I always tidy up after myself though I am not a clean freak. I'm a easy going person and I love being able to have a laugh and a yarn with my roomies though I am totally aware for the need of personal space. Interest: Travel, gigs, festivals, stand up comedy, camping, wine, documentaries, cooking, gym, dance. What I am looking for: I am looking for a house with either a backyard or verandah. I would prefer a place with some character though something that is not falling apart. I do have some furniture though I am able to get rid of it if needed (would prefer to keep the fridge - Maybe it could become a beer fridge). I am happy to be on a lease for 6 months and need to be out of my property the latest the 2/4/17. Hope to speak with you soon =)
I am a very easy going person with a good sense of humour, like pets (but don't have any currently!) Enjoy good movies. I am single and intend to remain so, so there will never be any "guests" over. I am a youth worker, very enthusiastic about social justice, I enjoy my work, which is shift based, I work every second weekend and have one "sleepover" shift per f/night. I am very clean but not OCD. More than happy to work on home cleaning schedules. On my weekend off I will sometimes be away at my bush property in western Victoria.
Hi, I'm Jeremy, I'm moving into the area due to work. - Looking for at most 3-4 months with the possibility of extension - Easy going and laid back. - Busy full time worker, student with extra curricular activities - Interest in film, landmark education, food, exploring new places and cycling. - I'm very used to sharing space with other people and have shared with other people in Melbourne and overseas for over 4 years. - Easy to get along with, tidy and respectful of other people's space but happy to share a meal with and a laugh.
Hi guys, I am a student at La Trobe uni. I am clean, tidy and respectful looking for a room to rent with someone who respectfully and social. Also, I like having to chat with a cup of tea. I am always busy related to my studies.
My name is Cara I am 25 and studying full time at RMIT university. I am currently living in Geelong and driving to uni but it turns out that 200k a day is just too much! I am quiet, clean and study a lot so won't be around too much but do love a glass of wine and a chat when I am. I look forward to hearing from you ! Cara
Generally easy going, fairly clean and low key, not noisy and respectful of others' personal space. At the same time open to socialising and being part of a group
Hi , My name is Punit Kumar; full time professional with office located in Research Ave of La Trobe Uni. I am friendly & outgoing person who like to chat about different things and mind my own business when its needed. I like to have some personal space and privacy hence no sharing rooms, sharing bathroom is fine as long as it is not like 4 people queuing up for a single bathroom. I like to read/watch movies in my spare time. Ping me up if you think I would be a good fit in your house. Regards, Punit
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
I am a graduate from La Trobe University, and work full time in CBD. I am friendly, honest, a good housemate and enjoy meeting with new people. I am looking forward to stay with people who are clean, tidy, studying or doing a professional job. I love watching tv series, sports, movies and dpcumentaries.
Hey there! I am looking for a long term place to live, minimum 6 months. I have lived in many share houses over the years and really am not looking for a "party house". I work in a bar part time and am a photographer as well, so I enjoy my quiet down time reading, cooking, watching a good series, the odd glass of red etc. Also, I would prefer to live with people older than myself, though it is not a must. Let me know if you think I would suit your place :)
Hey my name is Laura. I'm 28, just graduated with a BA in Music (vocals), and now work in admin, retail and teaching. Ideally, would like to start a 3-4 bdrm house with 2 x mid 20s-30s housemates. Prefer musicians / creatives. Looking for a light filled house with a large bdrm and room for a garden. I'm independent and introverted (not shy just need time out to recharge) though still pretty social - enjoy dinner with housemates once or twice a week. Love my plants, guitars, crystals, minimalist living, live music, and I'm bit of a foodie so I love sussing out local cheap eats. I'm very clean, house proud, considerate of shared spaces etc. I have a fair bit of furniture, but no fridge or washing machine. Hoping to pay less than $170pw though would consider up to $200. Ideally would love to live around Thornbury, Preston South, Northcote. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We would have the possibility of teaming up with Becca (27) and have an extra room as a shared music/art studio where Bec can teach singing 3 days a week (within 12-8pm). You can check out Bec’s profile here - https://flatmates.com.au/F1679765 Bec and I are both looking for: - Creative/arts professional or student - Prefer 25+ and female, though open to other possibilities. - Must be reliable with rent and bills, clean, considerate, etc - No pets - LGBTQI friendly, all inclusive - Non-smoker *Bonus if you have a fridge and washing machine Looking for another independent person to join us but we're still keen for a casual, family vibe at home. Hoping to pay around $200 or less (extra for studio space) Areas we are looking at: Northcote, Thornbury, Brunswick East, Preston (South of Bell St), Coburg (east side), Fairfield, Fitzroy North, potentially Carlton North or quiet pockets of Fitzroy/Collingwood. Both keen to move asap. Send us a message if you’d like to team up or if you’ve got a home for 1 or 2 creative professionals to join! Cheers, Laura (& Bec)
Hi I'm Matilda :) I'm currently a first year nursing student at the Australian Catholic University. I'm super friendly, clean and tidy. I'm looking for a place closer to uni because travelling an hour and a half (one way) to uni everyday just isn't viable. I'm super easy going and like to keep to myself at times but I also enjoy socializing... I love to read and stay active (think running, yoga, Pilates)
Hi! My name is Coby. Hope you're having a nice day so far! I am looking for a room to rent at the moment and I am hoping to move in before the end of March or early April. Just a little bit about myself. I am a friendly guy in my early 30s, working for the State Govt. I'm very open-minded, honest, respectful, and down to earth. I like meeting new people, socialising, catching up with friends, travelling, exploring different places, having a laugh, and pretty much enjoy what life has to offer. I always pay bills on time, like to keep the house clean and tidy, and love doing outdoorsy stuff in my spare time. I'm pretty flexible with most arrangements and I'm a pretty easy going type of person. I'm looking for somewhere social but not too much though. Please contact me so that we could arrange a meet-up or an inspection. I am also interested in teaming up with like-minded people for a shared house. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon! :) Cheerily, Coby
Hi all! Looking for a room in Bundoora or surrounding suburbs. I have a lot of my own furniture but can store excess offsite. I am a very clean person who always tidies up after herself, loves to play sport, and works afternoons as a nanny.
Hi, I'm Bryce. Looking for a room to rent a bit closer to my new Job. I currently work in Disability. Pretty easy going and just looking for friendly people to live with. I don't smoke but not too worried if others do outside. Would love to check out some houses asap!
Hi there, I'm Maddi. I have been living in the same share house for the past four years which is coming to an end in April, due to my housemates moving interstate. Its sad, but I wish my counterparts all the best for their futures endeavours I try not to take life to seriously. I am looking for a place that I can call my home, a safe place to listen, laugh, share stories and the occasional meal. A place where we all respect our home, each other's space and individuality. I pay my bill and rent on time. I am house trained (Yay) Don't hesitate to drop a line or two if you are passing by. I would love to say Hello! Please consider me as your newest friendly family member.
Uni student, clean and tidy. I'm reliable, respectful and easy-going. (A sense of humour for sure) My current lease is due to end of May. I like cooking, reading and traveling. Hope to live with positive and amazing people. I'll happy to have some drinks or hang out with housemate.

I love music, art and going out for a boogie with friends! I often frequent the festival scene, doing various work and volunteering for events and music festivals! I am looking for a place with compassionate people who enjoy life and creating important connections with others! If you want a house mate that will tell you stories till the sun comes up and pat your head then I'm your gal!
I'm 30 yr old female working full time in healthcare and am looking to move into a sharehouse. I love to travel and try to go somewhere every year. When I'm not at work I try and keep active and come winter time I spend most of my days off at the snow. I've lived in sharehouses before and can keep a clean and happy house . I enjoy hanging out with housemates but appricate the need for downtime too.
https://soundcloud.com/dani-mohamad-1 The reason I don't work or study is because I've decided to put all my energy in making music, (which you can check out through the link). I have just started with that so not sure what's next for me yet. Pretty down to earth person that most probably will not bother bugging you.
Hi! I'm french but I actually live in Spain for 8 years now. I'm working on a PhD in Political Studies and as a french teacher as well. I'm coming to Melbourne to study at La Trobe University and to conduct some of my PhD fieldwork. I've shared flats since I was 18 and I enjoy to have a good chat and laugh with nice and interesting people, but I also like to have my own space to study or listen music. I'm not really into sports but at least I try to keep fit. I do love music (to play and listen), movies and books. I really love pets (both cats and dogs) but I don't have one of my own.
Hey there! My name's Nakai, im a 20 year old aussie male. I'm super layed back and get along with everyone! Im very clean and respectful. I'm currently working full-time in sales. When i'm not working i'm often out and about catching up with friends but do also enjoy lounging around home and watching a movie or a bit of gaming here and there. I'm a 24 year old American from DC doing a working holiday in Melbourne before I (unfortunately) return to the states to start grad school this fall. I'm a laid-back and respectful housemate who loves sports and indie music and a good night out on the town. Looking for something in the 1-2 month range to help cap off my time in Melbourne!
We're a friendly couple moving to Melbourne from Perth and are looking for a place to help us get a foot holding. We're both very clean and enjoy a drink every now and then. Mostly will keep to ourselves and will not be a bother to other house mates.
I moved to Melbourne from NZ. Very respectful and quiet but like to enjoy the company of others and have fun. Currently looking for work and starting a course mid year. Looking for a cheap private room or roomshare with a nice person
