Hi fellow house hunters!!! Names Gemma, have recently accepted a job offer in Melbourne and will be moving down from bendigo at the end of May beginning of June. I am looking for a very pet friendly property as I have a beautiful gentle giant (Great Dane) called Odin. I am pretty relaxed, I’m not a clean freak, but am tidy...... like a good night in watching tv, up for a drink and a chin wag, but am respectful when others want space. Odin is very easy to get along with, and I haven’t met someone who hasn’t fallen in love with him. Odin is an inside dog, he is also incredibly lazy, due to his size... he also does not require a lot of space, as he sleeps most of the time. 100% toilet trained, can shake your hand, and can also give you a kiss 😂 Odin is Ok with other dogs, but generally only really calm breeds, and bigger dogs. He has also lived with 2 cats and tends to ignore them. Especially if the cat lets him know who’s boss lol. I am happy to join anyone who has a pre existing house. Would prefer to only have 1 other housemate who loves animals. I am also willing to team up with someone, if they are looking in the same area. Drop me a line if you have any questions, a place available, or interested in a team up. Gem States I’m a non smoker, at present I am trying to quit... 😬
I’m 27 from the uk. This is my fourth year in Melbourne. Soccer player and personal trainer so like to keep myself fit. Enjoy socialising, catching up with friends over coffee, finding a good bar to have a few drinks, going for walks. Laidback person looking to find a place I can call home and new housemates to call friends
Wanted: Dog-friendly accommodation. Always pay rent and bills on time. Have done so for 8 years! Worked since age 9. I'm ambitious, and a hardworker. Only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne, out of town right now, but will be back down for meet and greets. Don't have facebook, do have skype. Looking for an ideal place to call home for at least 6 - 12 months. I can provide a pet bond, and references if you need Taco: A chill, house-trained Pointer X with oodles of personality! Isn't destructive, loves people and animals, and catching a lot of Zzzzzz's. Me: Animal welfare, hospitality work, music therapy/teaching children, selling art, performing, charity work, and studying. Also love music, reading, open minds, visual/performance art ♡ ♡ equity, exhibitions/gigs, dancing. I take care of Taco 100% clean as I go, all the usual stuff! Am easy-going, enjoy good conversation, a good laugh, adventures and looking up at the stars ☆.☆ The place: Secure outdoor area. Private room. And anywhere close to a station is mint! If you're genuine, chill, experienced, and love Taco then it'll be fun! N.B. Twister and drinks are a great icebreaker 😄🐙🍻 so if you love boardgames a big plus Hope to hear from you soon, Lalaluv Luna& Taco! ^_^♡☆🐾
Hi my name's Bec. I'm in need of a place to stay ASAP for the next two weeks maybe longer. I do have a dog, but he will be with a pet sitter. I'm on Centrelink at the moment whilst looking for work and a permanent place to live for myself and my dog. I am a private person who is also down for chat as well. I just would love to live in a place which is respectful and housemates who are friendly.
My name is Savanna and I am 21 years old! I grew up in Seville, in the Yarra Valley. I have a Bachelor of Creative Arts from La Trobe University and I am now working in a vintage boutique! Now that's out of the way! I am an actress who is about to direct their first play! I love TV, food and wine, cheese, knitting, hanging with friends and being all round creative. I'm a very fun, extroverted person who enjoys a good chat with housemates but also respects alone time. I am tidy and will complete weekly chores. I'm having to move because of a break up (yay) so I would love to find somewhere soon :)
Started study this year can only afford up to $150 a week. Will bring own furniture and have rented before. Looking around north or east Melbourne. Room in a share house preferably. Fairly social but loves space and quiet time as well. I'm wanting to move in pretty quickly. I study full time and work almost full time hours. Message for more details :)
Good lad, 20 year old Kiwi. I'm moving out of a flat in Preston, and starting a new job in the city at a marketing firm, working normal 9-5 hours. Looking for a place to stay at least 12+ months. I'm up for anything and flexible to work around different flat dynamics. So if you're looking for someone into board games and a jug of tea, I'll bring the English Brekkie. Or if you're about banter, getting on the Mojito's, and playing couch co-op games, I'll bring the white rum. And of course, I can be a total shut-in and just write a novel in my room, or listen to a podcast. Otherwise I love snowboarding, going to the pub, hip-hop, rock music, and motorcycles. Anyway, I'm mature for my age, low stress, and always get along with people - so let's sort something out.
Aly and I are both doctors who have recently moved to Melbourne! We will be working at the Northern Hospital A&E department! We’ve lived with housemates before and thought it would be nice to have another couple to help explore our new home! We are very friendly, well house trained and sociable and would expect any prospective housemates to be the same! We’ve never yet burned a house down and are well over qualified to deal with any avacado slicing injuries you may incur! We are veggie most of the time and love to cook for friends or go out if we are off at the weekends! We are very active, Aly is a climber and we love to cycle, hike, run and swim as much as work allows! We would be looking for a place with a spare room for when friends or family visit and ideally some outdoor space! We would love to hear from you!
I'm looking for a whole property to rent. I rented out my own apartment and would like to rent a property with 2 bathrooms (or 2 toilets and 1 shower), and at least 1 parking spot. I'm a genuine, reliable, happy, tidy and warm person. I don't have children and pets. Looking for a whole property for myself, also don't mind to share a property which I will be getting with other females or males. Please send me a message or SMS if you would like to team-up/share a property I will be getting. I'm friendly and get along well with everyone. Australia has been home for me for the last 20 years. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and I don't host parties. Looking for a whole house/townhouse/villa uint/apartment with at least 2 toilets and 1 shower, 1 parking or garage for 1 car, and was built after 1985, around the areas listed or surrounding suburbs, or city fringe areas such as East Melbourne/North Melbourne/West Melbourne/South Yarra. Move-in date: Any day between now and late August 2018 is fine. It’s fine whether the property is furnished or unfurnished. Rent budget: Up to $720 per week depends on number of bedrooms and location. I will provide the relevant ownership documents/Body Corporate bills of my own property and driver licence/passport if requested.
Hi, I'm Liam, a 34 year old PhD student from Melbourne. I've recently finished an undergraduate bachelor course and secured a full government scholarship and stable (part-time) work, and am looking for a place to live in Melbourne's inner to middle north. My research is focused on changes to social housing policy since the 1970s. Being a mature aged research student I'm pretty quite and my studies are more like a 9-5 job. I generally keep to myself and keep busy, but would also like to socialise sometimes (eg, drink, chat and dinner with my housemates). In my spare time (when not researching) I like to hang with friends, watch the occasional footy match (but I'm not totally sports mad), and explore bits of Melbourne I don't yet know. I'm neat and tidy and would like to live in a nice environment, which means I will do my share of the housekeeping to keep the house looking nice. Liam. P.S. I've said I'm looking for six months, but that is a min, not max.
Hi I’m Emma, I’m clean, respectful, easy going and up for a chat with my housemates. I am working as a preschool teacher and children’s yoga teacher. I am about to begin studying a bachelor of counselling so I will be pretty busy juggling work, study and dance. I’m super friendly, have a very caring nature, still very good friends with my past housemates yet still enjoy my time out chilling in my room watching Netflix.
Hello There! My name is Tayla and i am 19, i am currently studying hospitality and working as an waitress. Me and my close friend Emily are looking to rent a room and share it, Emily is also 19 and works full time in the city, we are both quiet and tidy girls; we both do not smoke. Both of our intentions are to find a place we can stay for around 6-12 months just until we get on our feet, we are both hard working and non selfish people we respect everyone and their homes. We have our own furniture that we share such as bunk beds we both don't own much but are happy to negotiate any arrangements as we are very flexible and understanding people.
I have a massive dog who is very cuddly and got anxiety... the more people we have around would be great for him... he also needs a big backyard to play with and secured fence because of his anxiety. Else we are very friendly people who likes some relax time and chill with a few drinks during the weekend
Hi there, I'm Ling and I like to learn new things, and meet people and reading. I like clean and neat space and sometimes I do enjoy cooking and share it with others. looking for a warm, cozy, clean neat space to stay
My name Anneke! I am 28 and my cat's name is Neko she is around 3 :), A little about myself, I am the creative type I just finished up my fine art degree at VCA, I am mindful, respectful, down to earth. I guess I would coin myself as an extroverted/ introvert, love hanging out having wines and a good chat but also love having alone time with a podcast and my cat. P.s I like to cook for people time to times, as I live by myself atm and I find I actually miss it :p I'm planning on studying early childhood education at RMIT Bundoora in July and hopefully, that will lead to me doing some after-school care work in the months to come. I am currently moving out of my place because its getting knocked down and I do have a solid reference from my landlord of 8 years. I would love to start a new share house or join a like-minded bunch! Hit me a message if you want to know anything more :)
Hey Guys :) I'm From Switzerland and I'll do an internship in Melbourne (Thomastown) for nine months as a wood engineer. I'm looking for a nice sharehouse between Thomastown and Melbourne city for at least 8 months. I'm easy going and love travelling and any kind of sports etc... especially surfing :) Also I like to socialise and share some good food and a glas of wine!
Hey there, I'm a ex-kiwi, ex-Qlder, long term Melbournite recently returned from two years working in The Netherlands and travelling around Europe every chance I had. I like to swim, garden and get to the beach regularly where my family are now based. I have a 4yo dog, Billy, who keeps me moving and giggling. I’m looking to live somewhere with friendly people who like casual convos but happy to give lots of space too. I’m sometimes vegetarian, tidy, early on bill payments and respectful. I have full-time permanent employment in Rosanna so ideally want a 12month lease within easy commute (but thinking even longer term). I am looking for a stable home rather than a transition house. If this sounds like a good match, i’d love to hear from you! Cheers, Katy
I’m 27 yo set designer from Poland, working full time and studying on Saturdays, I like to cook and plants 🙂 I’m into cycling, pilates, dancing and art. I would describe myself as a easygoing and positive person who likes relaxed and friendly environment but also well organised and clean. In my free time I like to hang out with mates, going to local gigs/exhibitions or paint ☺️
Hello :) I am an Art/English teacher. I have moved back from Brisbane about a month ago..so ideally I would like to move in fairly soon. I have a very sweet, gentle natured, calm and toilet trained poodle by the name of Winston. He is very attached to me so he wouldn't really bother anyone as he is my shadow. He doesn't shed any fur. I am very bubbly, clean and organised person who likes other like minded people. I like the usual things such as; wine and cheese, socialising with friends and sometimes with housemates. But I mainly do my own thing and go out with my friends quite often. So basically between work at 7am-5pm and my social life, I won't be home for more than half of the week. However, I usually take my dog with me, except working hours. This doesn't mean that I will use the house like a hotel either. I just have a very active life :) I would like to share a house with 27+ - 40 year old people (male or female). I would prefer to be in a bigger household as there is more fun to be had in a bigger space. Looking forward to hearing from you! Esin :)
I’m easy going male IT professional with stable income employed at University in fulltime capacity (Mon - Fri / 9-5). I'm clean, tidy, respectful of other's personal space and am always up for a chat. Please let me know if I sound like a good fit for your home and I can come and meet you.
Hi! I'm looking for a place from May 1st, for a few months but preferably flexible. I'm studying a PhD at RMIT, Bundoora. I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ~3+ times a week, and go into the lab/office on a pretty much working schedule (e.g. 7-5pm). Happy to hangout and have a chat but happy with my own company too :) Pretty clean and tidy as a person, vegetarian but not fussed at all if you're not, like to go out and explore on the weekends! (Brunch/cocktails are ALWAYS an option). Drop me a message if you want to know anything more- I'm not looking for anywhere until at least May 11th though (as I will be in Brisbane until then)!
