Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time in construction 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after myself and happy to help keep the house clean. Any question, ask away
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. I’m open to starting up a new home as well as to joining a welcoming existing one. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
My name is Marcos. I'm from Chile and I'm going to Melbourne with the objective of learning English. I am calm, hygienic and careful. I do not smoke or have pets. I'm just looking for a quiet place to rest and pleasant company. Greetings and thanks!!
I'm a full time worker in his early thirties from Wagga Wagga, NSW. I'm moving to Melbourne to start a new job in local government. Some interests of mine include keeping fit, seeing live music and eating great food. I have a somewhat reserved personality but I really do enjoy socialising and getting to know people. I consider myself to be very considerate and no hassle whatsoever to live with. I respect people's space and have no problem pitching in with housework, but I'm also happy to have a chat and hang out when the opportunity arises. Occasional parties are fun but I'm not looking for a 'party house'.
Studying Digital Media at RMIT and need to find a place ideally in the city "area".. I'm a Canadian Israeli who just just moved to Melbourne after travelling all around the world. (lived in 5 countries and traveled over 30 haha..) I like to run, hike, cook, read, drink, and simply have fun. I'll definitely be an entertaining addition to the apt. Looking for normal fun peeps! ;)
Hi Everyone! In mid/late-September 2018, my housemates and I will end our lease together on what has been an awesome home in the heart of Preston. While we’re all moving in different directions, I’m looking to stick around either the Inner North/Northside up to Reservoir, or somewhere close-ish to Carlton/Parkville with the hope of securing a private room with some quality like-minded people in a shared home. I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Unimelb researching medication to manage behaviour in health settings, and I also work there part-time on a variety of research projects relating to mental health and the law. Additionally, I produce electronic music (with headphones on mostly) and very occasionally throw down a few tracks here and there in darkened clubs and festivals around the place. In a home, I look for a warm, friendly, respectful vibe with open communication and value people who generally care about the world and themselves. A bit more about me: 39, male, non-smoker, creative, LGBTQIA+ friendly, tidy, introverted-ambivert (i.e. social, yet values alone-time), and mellow. Interests: music, foreign/indie films with a touch of sci-fi, health & well-being, cooking, gardening, bicycles, art/design generally. I don’t have any pets, but I think dogs and other animal companions are ace. Thanks for reading and good luck with your searches!
I am studying at La Trobe University, and I work in the city. I currently reside in Bundoora but I'm looking for something between uni and work I tend to keep to myself a lot and I don't know too many people in Melbourne at the moment. I do enjoy good conversation. I like to chill out, watch movies, work on new cosplay ideas when I have a day off. I smoke, I don't do drugs and I like the occasional drink. I will respect anyone's rule of no smoking at the house. I never smoke inside.
Hi, my name is Tahlie and I have just moved from the far south coast of NSW to Melbourne to work and study! I am working in hospo and I am currently searching for a place to call home with people around my age or just some awesome, friendly folks who I'm able to connect with! Trying to meet more people in Melbourne! I am a very clean and tidy person and clean up after myself wherever I go! I pride myself in keeping the place I call home beautiful and comfy and clean! I like to have my own space as well as to socialise. I'm very reliable when it comes to paying rent and bills and I have previously share-housed with friends and have also lived in my ow unit. My interests/ hobbies include bush walks, adventuring/exploring or some good beach trips (now that I live in Melbourne), healthy goodness food, community, practicing enviro friendly stuff everyday, all that good stuff etc. I'm not a big party person but do enjoy a night out dancing or a drink at home occasionally.
I am a well-traveled 29 yo Chinese-Malaysian lady, born in Malaysia but spent 10 years studying and working in Seoul, Korea. I am a coffee lover and a traveler at heart. Not a party person but enjoys good company who has a light heart and respectful of others. I enjoy healthy eating, good music, reading, swimming, and doing yoga in my free time. I am currently working as a full-time freelancer and looking forward to settling down in Melbourne.
I really am the best housemate ever, especially if you like your own space! Your never see me during the week as I work afternoon shifts! I’m the cleanest of guys, very organised! Fun, laid back and respectful of others! Never missed a bill date!
We are two professional Biologists, tidy, clean and useful around a house! Respectful of other peoples spaces but we are friendly, always happy to chat and share the occasional meal! We don't organise parties and would prefer a quiet place. We both enjoy getting out for a run or a hike and are pretty busy in general. Our length of stay is flexible. We are moving from NZ for work at La Trobe uni and will be free to view rooms from 15/8, and able to move in on the 27th August. I am a kiwi, joining my partner for full time work in Melbourne. I like to cook, and dabble in art and music. I try to be environmentally conscious, but, I definitely eat meat! Bacon is too delicious. I’m not a drinker as such but will have a glass of wine or beer with dinner on occasion. I love animals and enjoy chatting to people! Francesco is originally from Italy (north) but has lived in NZ for the past 4 years. He has a job as an entomologist (insects) at La Trobe uni. He is passionate about coffee and makes a good pizza. He also loves animals. He is a very organised person and great to have around a house! We both have rental references and have shared happily with others both independently and as a couple. Cheers!
I'm a 20 year old art student, working part time in hospitality. I'm quite easy going and love to have fun whether it be going out drinking and dancing or staying in watching movies and playing board games. I'd like to live in a home where we're not just roommates but friends! I like cooking and would love to have sit down dinners together now and again. I can also be a bit shy and timid though and like my alone time :p I'm looking to move out sometime in September definitely before the 20th.
Hey friends, I've been in Melbourne a little over a year, coming from a place called Waiuku aka muddy water in NZ. I love it here for it's community, culture and music. I'm into gardening, creating, exploring and cooking hearty, meat-free meals. I like a few drinks on the weekend or getting out of the city. Usually out doing a range of activities a few nights during the week. Working full time in west Melbourne for a conservation NGO. I've got a whole lot of furniture/plants/washing-machine/records/fun-times/worms (worm farm :)) to contribute to the house if that suits but can also sell what I need to. Cheers heaps, Vic
Hello, I am a masters student in La Trobe University. I am friendly, easy to go, passionate, positive person. I am looking for a shared house for me and my husband. Both of us is polite and quiet so looking for someone who can go along with us easily as we will be busy in study and work.
I'm moving from Adelaide to Melbourne and plan on either studying or getting full time work as a chef. I have a 1 year old dog that is very friendly and domesticated. I'm really chill with whether you want to socialise or just do our own thing. I do smoke however if it's a big deal I'm happy to smoke off property. Looking for someplace long term, pet friendly and some really laid back flatmates.
From America here to play soccer and work. I am an easy going person who appreciates my privacy but enjoys being social as well. I'm a clean and considerate person to live with and can communicate well. I enjoy athletics, listening to music, cooking, and naps. I love to learn so I'm open to trying new things and experiencing different cultures to broaden my knowledge of the world.
Hi, I'm Frankie! I like brooklyn 99, thinking about exercising but not actually doing it and drinking way more caffeine than I should :) I'm also a transgender man, so if you're not okay with that, living together might not be the best idea!
I am a very easy going and down to earth guy who also likes to keep clean and be organised. I work full time with JB HiFi (discounts for the house!) and am also wanting to pursue a future as a musician, have been very keen to play in Melbourne for a while now. I also have some friends and family who live down there who I am very keen on having back in my life!
Hey my name is Jake and I really interested in a spare room you have! I currently live in Preston already and am looking to move to be in the same area, only leaving my current place due to end of a relationship. I work full time, am chill and a clean respectful person, read a lot and play a lot of games in my spare time and I also love cats. I have a bit of furniture so looking to fill a room! I can get a few people to reference me for a great house mate too! Looking forward to meeting you and checking out your cool place! :)
We are quiet, tidy and friendly people. We are students looking for accommodation for a longer period of time as we have 1 more year of Uni to go. We are usually out of the house due to work or Uni and on holidays we like to stay in and watch movies or go out on trips (if time permits). That way you will have the house mostly to yourself. We're looking for 2 single rooms preferably or a double room.
