I'm Alex and I'm finishing up my bachelors degree. I'm currently living at home but previously rented at two separate places for the past 2 years. I moved home for the last semester of my degree and need to move out again once I've I finished up. I work casually at Fox Sports, but am never short of work so rent is never going to be an issue. I'm good with my finances and try to be as respectful to my housemates as possible. I'm an open person who's up for a chat and happy to discuss anything. As my work suggests I love sport and will watch nearly anything. I also enjoy some casual gaming and like to cook whenever I get the chance. I might have a slightly messy room but I'm a stickler for clean bathrooms and clean kitchens and can't stand it otherwise. I'm really just looking for a place that I can park my car, have a bed to sleep in and overall just unwind in between my shifts.
Hey guys, I'm 22 and I work in garden maintenance. My job means I'm up early and out most of the day during the week. I've had quite a bit of experience living with housemates in the past and made some really great friendships in the process. I'm a friendly, respectful, clean, responsible housemate.
I‘m a study abroad student at Macquarie University from Germany. I look forward to get to know the Australian culture and meet a lot of new people and maybe even make some friends during my study abroad period. In my free time I like to sing, cook, draw, write and take photos for my fashion/travel blog. I am looking for a room in a shared flat and roommates to hang out with, who can maybe introduce me more to the Sydney lifestyle.
Having my first go at moving out of home I have been working full time in Gordon for the past 2 years, so I'm out of the house Mon-Fri and I have been studying Science at MQ uni for 4 years - with a couple of years to go (part-time). I don't smoke, and I'm not really a drinker. I love the water - especially scuba and snorkeling. Not really sure what else to say.
Hello, My name is Alec, I'm from the Far North Coast of NSW. I love nature, surfing, hiking, music and art. I am currently studying Conservation Biology at Macquarie University.
Hey! My name is Tom, I'm 23 and work full-time as a Graphic Designer. I'm easy going, clean, considerate and can cook! My spare time is filled with mountain biking, having a gaming session or a good Netflix binge. Looking for a new home closer to work and always up for hanging out and a good laugh when I’m not in the office.
Hey there, my name is Jayne. I'm a first year DPT (physiotherapy) student at Macquarie University, commencing in July. As is common of many Wisconsinites, I enjoy the natural world immensely, participating in activities like hiking, swimming, canoeing, camping, etc. My other passions include reading, art, ballet, yoga, and travel. I am a conscientious and respectful person, preferring to keep my space clean and tidy. I love animals, so if you have a pup or cat, he/she would be receiving affection from me as well!
Note 3 : I will arrive in Sydney on 25th of April'19. I will contact some of you for an inspection once I arrive. There have been some changes in my per week rent. I have updated it in my profile. Hi. I will start my PhD at Macquarie university. So I will arrive in Sydney in first week of May, 2019. I would like to have my own room and preferably own bathroom, but okay with sharing it as well. I can share other parts of the house e.g. kitchen , living room etc with my house/flat mates. However, I would like privacy for my studies and hobbies. I will need a living place which is near to the Macquarie University. I am also okay with places which are near to the public transport facilities. About me : I am a friendly person but keep to myself most of the times. I like and prefer privacy. But I also like to enjoy a party every now and then. I am very particular about cleanliness and prefer a room which is easy to clean even in busy days of the week. I like trekking, hiking and traveling. I love eating good and healthy food. I am learning to cook, so I do a lot of cooking experiments when I am at home. Some of them are successful. :) I am also fond of gardens. I would like a place where I can grow a small garden. Do you already have a garden? This will definitely be an added bonus to the search for my room. Apart from all these, I love reading. So, I would definitely love to share a house with people who also like reading and can discuss about the books they read about. P.S. Please note that if the rent per week is approaching to AUD 300, I would definitely prefer and expect my own bathroom. Thank you. :) Hope to see some of you soon! Let's see how it goes. I would contact some of you later in April for the availability of a private room in a house share and see if I can inspect the place once I arrive in Sydney. Thank you, Sidneysiders! :)
Hey I'm Jess. I currently live in St Ives, which I love but I would like to find a place with people more around my age. I work full time in the city and keep pretty busy on the weekends. I enjoy keeping active, cooking (and eating it too!), horse riding and travelling. I'm super neat and tidy and would enjoy a house where we can have the odd chat over wine and cheese. I have a horse called Bella that I keep in Belrose, so I need to stay in the St Ives and surrounds area. I also have two cars and a horsefloat, so good street parking is a must. I'm in no rush to move, so will wait until the right place comes up. I would also prefer non-owner occupied. Jess
I'm an energetic but easy-going 20-year-old balancing full-time work and study. In my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and chilling with my fur-baby (my 2-year-old, extremely cuddly, quiet, toilet trained and well-behaved chihuahua). I'd love to hang out with my flatmates and bond over some good wine and cheese every once in a while, but am also happy doing my own thing. I'm always willing to lend a hand, especially with cleaning and the like. I do drive, but ideally looking for somewhere near-ish public transport. Please shoot me a message if you think I may be a good fit in your home, or if you have any questions. Thanks!
I'm working fulltime at Macquarie park. I prefer quiet house but sometimes it's okay to have a beer/wine and chat. I cook and maintain clealiness. I also respect other's privacy.
Relaxed and Calm. Gives people there space and privacy. I like to have fun of course. I need the basics like a washer, dryer and fridge. Please not coin operated. Interests: Woodworking/ volleyball/ exploring Sydney. Need to be reasonably close to public transport. A place that feels safe, prefer to not be on the ground floor. I can't live with smokers or drug takers. Age open. I would like to have a friend visit a few times a month, which can be discussed. I've had a couple of places where i've had to use public rubbish bins instead of one from a property, eg when living above a shop, I don't want to do that anymore.
Hello. My name is Justin. I am 36, and studying a PhD in Palaeontology. I'm friendly, responsible and easy going. I play soccer and like to keep fit, cook and eat well. I'm looking for easy going, sociable and considerate people who are responsible when it comes to bills and keeping the home clean and tidy. Respect for space and privacy are important, but I also like having fun with my flatmates and enjoying some quality time together.
Hi! I am a quiet, respectful guy. I work in Disability and am currently studying to become a police officer. I am very clean and active but also love some down time to relax and unwind. Hope to hear back from you ☺️
