Hello! Currently I'm in Europe returning to Aus in early Sept! I am a 24 year old male looking for a new place in Canberra. I'll lived in Braddon since January but have moved out as my roommate's lease expired. I'm a relaxed, relatively introverted person, tidy and clean, enjoy time by myself but am usually down to hang out or go do something fun. I prefer a quiter living environment usually. I like staying active at the gym or hiking around, exploring new places, travel, etc. I'm a public servant and am at a minimum committing to being in Canberra until August or so 2020. I have a bunch of furniture but could make any arrangements necessary.
Hi I am a 26 year old working professional in the IT industry moving from Sydney to Canberra for work. I enjoy keeping fit, working out, and reading with a coffee. I am looking for a convenient location in an apartment or house in Canberra close to the CBD. I am quiet, respecting of others, and extremely tidy.
I'm a postgraduate student at ANU & work at My Rainbow-Dreams Cafe in Dickson. Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I love music, going out to gigs. I'm a vegan (not a problem if you aren't) and love to cook my meals and share food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean & tidy and always clean up after. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
I am an incoming male international (Indian to be specific) graduate student (23 yrs) at ANU starting research (PhD) this October at the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA) in Mount Stromlo, Canberra. I am looking for a: 1. Furnished Studio Apartment 2. Furnished room in a Share apartment/house with ensuite bathroom (preferred) or a bathroom shared with a maximum of one other occupant. I am looking for localities near the ANU Main campus in Hutton Street such as : Turner, Braddon, O' Connor, Reid, Dickson, Lyneham, Ainslie etc. I prefer these areas as I need to take the daily shuttle bus to Mount Stromlo from the Main Campus as I don't have a car. I would prefer leases in the duration of 3-6 months as I plan to shift to cheaper locations near Stromlo once I am settled and I purchase a car. An amount of 300$ per week (inclusive of internet, electricity, water etc) is the upper limit on the rent I am willing to pay. I am a tidy, responsible and social person (although I respect and require personal space), and rents would be paid diligently on time. I am a non-smoker and not a party person (although I enjoy the occasional social drink). I would be working at Mount Stromlo on weekdays. On weekends I would relax with a book at home or go on hikes/to the beach depend on my energy levels. I like to stay fit, and I play football (or soccer ?) as regularly as possible, and/or go for an evening jog or swim. I am not a very accomplished cook although I can treat you to some simple Indian dishes if you are interested.
Hi I’m Rowan, I am pre-empting a move to Canberra for work as an Environmental Consultant, and am looking to rent a humble abode or team up with like-minded people. I am well-versed in share house living, both in Sydney and abroad, so I respect your need for privacy and peace & quiet. I am social and down to earth. I have a passion in photography and music as well as the environment and sustainability. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to know more, cheers.
I'm 32 and just got a full time job in Canberra. I will be commuting back to Sydney most weekends and I need a comfortable place in a lively area where I can live during the week, preferably 15min bike ride or less to the city centre. I work in the human rights/refugee field and I love wine, cooking, Yoga, cycling, playing guitar and going to cafes and restaurants. I've share housed for many years and understand the importance of paying rent/bills on time and keeping common areas clean and tidy. I like being social with housemates and sharing a meal or glass of wine every now and then. I have a contract until the end of the year which is very likely to be extended.
I’m a working female and I’ve moved from Coffs Harbour, looking for somewhere suitable to live for myself and my 1yr old cat for a minimum of 6 months to maximum of 12 months. I’m studying Horticulture online and working part time/casual at the racecourse as well as volunteering during the week. I usually spend my weekends relaxing and might have a drink but I don’t smoke. Like to keep things clean, tidy and more than happy to fit in with a weekly cleaning routine. I love to cook and bake the usual yummy stuff and happy to try new dishes. I’m easy going, responsible and respectful of privacy and personal space and mostly expect the same. I have shared house before a few times as the landlord and the tenant/sharer. I can also supply references for myself and my cat. She is pictured above and is a small indoor only cat. She’s well behaved, a little shy at first but friendly with other people and animals and has had all her vaccinations and desexing done. She’s lived with a dog since a kitten without any dramas. The dog in the picture is not with me and lives with my children. In general I’m straightforward, outgoing and social and I’ve been told that I’m very easy to talk to but most of my friends live in other cities so I probably won’t have many people visiting but if I do it wouldn’t be until after I’ve settled in. I enjoy going out to explore just as much as I do staying at home to chill by myself or with whoever I’m sharing but I usually just go with the flow. I have a variety of interests - most music, movies, some crafts, learning a new language (Spanish) and a few outdoor interests including exploring, hiking, abseiling and I’m planning to join a baseball team and learn hapkido. I do have two young children but they won’t be visiting as they live in Newcastle.
Hi! My name's Katrina. I'm in my mid twenties and manage a ceramics gallery part time, while also teaching and practicing ceramics. As you can probably tell, I'm a pretty creative person! I love to play soccer and hang outdoors in my spare time, and spend quite a bit of time out of the house catching up with friends and family. I've lived in sharehouses for the last few years but have recently found myself living alone for the first time. I'm friendly and love to have a chat while cooking or eating dinner, but also enjoy my own space quite a bit. I'm neat and tidy and do like a clean household, but nothing crazy, I promise!
