I'm clean, tidy, social and a very average cook. I enjoy cycling, tennis and I'm trying hard to learn Spanish. About to start full-time work in Forrest and I am flexible and easy going with where I live and who I live with. Message me with any questions! Cheers
Ive recently moved to Canberra from QLD and looking for a short term room to rent. Im easy going, house broken, enjoy my own space but am social and love a chat. I work late mosts nights, and am away for a week each month for work, so you'll be like 'where is that girl we live with again'? anyways, I'm awful at writing these things. speak soon!
Clean, quiet, respectful of others. I like to cook, mainly desserts. I have a malamute dog who is friendly, well behaved and house trained. Full time employed in the public service. I like to stay active playing squash and tennis.
Open minded, easy going and friendly. Love to cook, have a glass of wine and a chat but also mindful of personal space. Neat and tidy, easy to communicate with regarding house expenses etc. My working week can be quite busy so i'm generally not home a great deal but enjoy socialising when i can. BBQs, friends for dinner and live music in more my thing than raging parties. Moving from the coast will be hard as I love anything ocean based, (i'm hoping my love for the ocean is transferrable to snow) but am keen to explore Canberra and surrounds. I'm into art (both creating and appreciating), travel and am environmentally minded. Oh, and I'm also a lawyer. Commencing work on the 19th of March and hoping to find a like minded flatmate before then!
I’m moving to Canberra from Brisbane on Sunday 11th Feb and am looking for a place to live for at least 6 months, with a move in date from Friday 17th Feb. I am employed as a full time Engineer and may or may not be relocated after 6 months. I’m 28, single and social, however need to recharge my batteries and respect the need for others to do the same. I plan to be at the gym a lot the first half of this year and will also be cooking/meal prepping often. I’m clean but not pedantic. I treat my place like a home and will generally have a hand bag and/or pair of shoes in the common area at all times. Not bothered by small things and prefer to address things with a casual chat and keep home a happy and chillled out place. I pay my share of the bills on time. Easy going, like everyone to feel comfortable having visitors and the occasional BBQ/gathering. I’ve shared for years so can supply references as required. I have my own bedroom furniture so unfurnished is better. Own bathroom preffered, and built in wardrobe. Working at the airport so if your place has convenient transport to here, feel free to give me a shout!
Hello, I'm Ian 22 from Melbourne. I'm moving to Canberra in February to complete my masters in diplomacy at ANU. I have lived in share houses in Melbourne and Adelaide. I am looking to move into a positive environment with people who are happy to have a cheeky beverage on occasion but also content just doing their own thing. I pride myself on paying bills on time, respect for communal areas and consideration of my flatmates. A few of my interests include cooking, eating out, bad dad jokes/ puns, volunteering, photography and gym. Looking forward to meeting my future housemates!
Hi I'm Josh. I like international cinema (Pan's Labyrinth is amazing), black coffee, I'm quiet and I'm vegan (if you're not that's fine too). I'm 23, I've just moved from Newcastle and I'm studying a B. Economics at the ANU. The occasional dinner/film with housemates would be fun, though I respect privacy and space. I like to keep a clean and organised living space and would be happy to share chores. Before now I studied different humanities part-time in Newcastle. I can move anytime within the next month.
I am clean, quiet, fun and respectful. I live my life with a mug of tea in my hand and my nose buried on a book, or whatever craft project I am attempting that is well beyond my skills set. Currently working at the farmers markets selling plants and flowers, so if you garden there will be sweet discount greenery in your life if we live together 😊 I like to get out of the house to socialize, or cook elaborate desserts and feed them to everyone within arms reach for fun and pleasure. I believe that of you use it, you clean it, and that cleaning rosters are a recipe for disappointment Feel free to hit me up for a coffee or a chat so we can talk about why I am excellent to live with or (or anything else, really)
Hey, I am a German student and I will be writing my Master's thesis in physics at ANU. My hobbies are: football (or soccer? I don't know how you call it), hiking, biking, badminton, playing games (board and computer), music and travelling. I like to cook and would consider myself as quite tidy. I already lived in a shared flat in Budapest for a year. I am looking for people with whom I could live together, and maybe for new friends. I enjoy going out in the evening, but sometimes also want to have some privacy and relaxing evenings at home.
I'm clean and tidy (a little bit extreme according to my parents) and quiet and will probably spend most of my weekdays in my office doing research work. I respect personal spaces and would also like to have my own. But I would still enjoy some occasional dinner or movies during the weekends.
I am an easy to go person with an adjustable nature. I am from Mumbai, India and visiting ADFA for a short term. I am a researcher, working in the field of education. I teach physics at the college level. During my two months stay at Canberra, I would like to be close to ADFA. Well, I love running, travel and occasionally enjoy cooking. I am a non-smoker, a teetotaller. I believe that owner's privacy and rules of the house should be respected.
ANU postgraduate student. Tidy, open-minded, responsible, relaxed, occasionally plays musical instruments alone silently so not to disturb anybody. Looking for a place to stay for 4 months preferably close to ANU or close to buses route number 7 or 3
Hi! I'm a first-year PhB student at ANU trying to do Mathematics. I come from Singapore though ethnically I'm half Japanese and half Australian. I enjoy washing dishes while listening to loud angry people shout music into my ears. I typically keep to myself but I do enjoy engaging conversations. Other than that I come with a PS4 Pro, a Switch, a variety of handheld consoles, and a Wii U loaded with Smash if that's your thing.
I am a 27 year old PhD student at ANU (just commencing in February). I also have my own small online business where I sell jewellery that I make. I enjoy listening to music, art, and watching weird documentaries. I am originally from Adelaide, but have been living in Canberra for two years now. I consider myself to be a considerate, kind, friendly and organised housemate (I've lived in 3 share-houses before). I'm easy to get along with and always think of others first. I would enjoy catching up with housemates over a cup of tea, a wine/beer or a shared dinner whenever that suits! Move in date is flexible as I have existing accommodation, but hoping to find somewhere that is close (walking/cycling distance) to the ANU in the inner north.
Originally from Adelaide, looking for a place to live while I do complete my degree at ANU. Currently unemployed but I do have Centrelink and am relatively good with money so I’d never be late with rent. I’m a pretty basic white girl cook, but I also always clean up after myself. Love animals, can get along with anyone.
I moved to Canberra in 2011 and have been working for the APS ever since. I've bought a place here so I'm looking to rent until I move into it in August 2019. I'm an awesome housemate because I can keep to myself and get involved with the house. I'm housebroken and have lived in share houses previously.
I've spent a lot of time living with others and am easy to get along with. I've moved around a bit, I was born in Thailand but grew up in London and Melbourne and briefly lived in Italy a bit too. I'm getting to know Canberra as well having spent 4 years here , more than traveling though I enjoy rock climbing and a good story (books, movies, people, games...ect). I'm doing honours at ANU but I'm a pretty relaxed student as I don't have too much work for the year.
Hi there! I'm a chill housemate, neat & friendly. I bake for a living; I am usually out by early morning and come back home late in the evening. If I am not exploring the outdoors, I enjoy a good old book and a nice cuppa in the weekend. I'm an old soul who is into gardening, crafting and the likes. Looking for similar outgoing housemates to cook and laugh with.
Super fun girl studying biotechnology at ANU who would make a wonderful housemate. Always down to have fun but also understnd the times to be focused and respectful of other peoples commitments. Im clean and tidy and respectful of shared spaces and willing to play my role in the house. Im genuinely a wonderful human so please contact me if you have a spare room!!!
My name is Rob, I am a young professional working full time in Barton I'm looking for a new place in the Inner North/Inner South - as my previous sharehouse has recently broken up up after a year and a half and the commute from Gungahlin is absolutely killing me! I'm tidy, reliable, have positive rental and credit history and also like to have fun from time to time. Looking to move out in March(ish) but pretty flexible with dates. More detail if you haven't hit 'x' already: - I've lived in share houses for two years and was on the lease at my previous place (full bond returned). Before that I lived in a residential hall at the ANU for three years. - As a housemate I'm low drama and tidy. I've lived with mixed houses and grew up with sisters so I am pretty well trained on all the dos and don'ts of bathroom and kitchen etiquette. - I'm pretty work focused during the week and travel more than occasionally on weekends - but happy to be social with my housemates and involve them in my social life and activities. - I love catching up with friends, reading, listening to music, catching the Rugby in winter, trying out new restaurants and bars, collecting records, writing, going to public lectures, plays, and films, jogging, hiking and camping. I also volunteer pretty actively. Very open to new interests as well! Hope to hear from you soon!
I am a master student of ANU and my major is Business information systems. I am a fantastic flatmate because I am generous, considerate, independent and mature. I hope you are the same. I am a big music fan, especially rock. I love singing and play some instruments in my spare time. I also enjoy running the in sun by the lake and cooking.
