I'm originally from Adelaide, but have recently decided to do the young professional thing and move to Canberra for a job in the legal services sector. I am very friendly, easy going and always in a good mood. Looking to ideally move in with people who are happy to have a chat and get to know someone new, and enjoy an occasional wine!
I am moving from Perth to Canberra to begin an APS graduate program in early January 2019. Looking for a room in a share house, ideally with housemates with similar lifestyles. I am very easy going, organised and sociable. Happy to chill and hang out with housemates over a meal, bottle of wine, FIFA, board games etc but also respectful in everyone doing their own thing. I pack light so the biggest things I will bring are my bedroom furniture. I enjoy watching sport, checking out new places, going to the movies and reading books. Hopefully I will add some some social sports to the mix!
I am from Thailand. I have been awarded a full scholarship to study abroad and am attending a postgraduate program in biological science at ANU next year. I am kind of shy but always nice to make new friends. I love to learn new things and share experiences with other people. I love travelling and outdoor activities like hiking and diving. I enjoy watching fantasy movies or TV series, reading young adult literatures and listening to various kinds of music in my free time. My cooking skill is poor but I am trying. I am looking for a furnished, quiet room.
Hello there! I'll be moving to Canberra from Sydney at the end of January next year to work for the APS. I'm super easy-going, very organised and tidy, and totally a people person (but I simultaneously completely love and respect the concept of "me time"). When I'm not working, I love being outdoors, especially if it's anything water-related, or hanging out at home and watching TV with a cup of tea :)
Hi, I'm Tyler! I finished my uni studies this year (Psyc and Commerce) and am moving to Canberra for a grad role at the APS in February 2019. Last year's grads have told me the rental market gets real rough closer to Feb, so happy to start looking a little earlier to make things easier! I've lived out of home for the last year, and am a tidy housemate. I spend my off time reading and playing keyboard (I can plug in headphones so I'm not a nuisance). I'm occasionally active, riding my pushbike or going for a run or hike. I'm social and up for a chat, board games and cards but also enjoy time on my own. My gf currently works in Sydney so I'll commute up there some weekends. 1-2 others would be preferable with a private bathroom but that's not super necessary. I'm looking near the Parliamentary Triangle to make the work commute easier but am unsure which suburbs are best, so I'm pretty flexible with location! Please don't hesitate to get in touch!
I'm a full time IT guy in the public sector who has being in Canberra for about a year now. I'm pretty out and about socially but am also fond of chilling out in my room after work or having a quiet dinner and board game/TV night with friends. A few of the things I have being enjoying in Canberra is going hiking and picnicking in the national parks, I'll basically live at the snow once the season is back in and otherwise enjoy the occasional weekend down at the coast in the warmer part of the year. One of my current hobbies is seeing how much chocolate I can cram into various baked goods. I like to keep a tidy house and am looking for people who also enjoy tidiness as well as a healthy mix of sociability and privacy :)
Hi, I'm a Melbournian who moved up to Canberra early on in the year. I work time full-time in the public service, but I'm always down for a drink and a boogie during the weekends. I enjoy going pole dancing, having coffee catch ups and going on non-sensical rants.
I'm easy going and social. I work relatively long hours but enjoy a drink and a chat to unwind. I'm active with commitments most evenings and some mornings. I'm returning to Canberra after living abroad for three years.
Hi! I'm a recent Computer Science Graduate who's moving to Canberra from Newcastle to work full in the private sector. I'm clean and tidy and like to help around the house. I have a quiet personality however love to socialize once i get to know you. I'll be working the majority of the day, however in my spare time i like to: go to the gym, watch Netflix, go for walks/rides, play video games, go shopping or just visit a cafe for a coffee/tea. Looking to live in the Inner northern part of Canberra preferably walking distance to Civic. If you have a room to offer or would like me to team up with you, I’d love to hear from you! Cody :)
I'm 27 and moving to Canberra from Melbourne in January 2019 to start full-time work in federal government. I'm looking for a friendly and easy-going house, preferably with other professionals or full-time students. I'm friendly, respectful and considerate housemate - I like to be social and have a few drinks and am keen to make new pals. However, I do like my own time on occasion and respect others solo time and space!
Hi! I'm Ellen, I'm moving back to Canberra to work as a science writer and communicator. I'm a tidy, laidback housemate who respects others' personal space, looking to live with like-minded, friendly people. I enjoy brunch, swimming, bushwalking, and chilling with a cuppa to watch Netflix.
Hi! I'm a 29 year old (Northern) Territory raised guy working full time and have been living in Canberra for 6 years. I'm an easy going person, clean and fairly tidy looking for like minded individuals to share a home as my old navy mates have been posted away and I need to find somewhere new. I enjoy socializing but also enjoy me time and will respect others in return, I am a smoker however not in or around the property. I like movies and most other forms of entertainment, cooking then testing the results on willing volunteers, or conversation over a glass of red. WHAT I CAN BRING: I've got furniture for my room however a pre-furnished room is fine, In addition if you need extra furniture, kitchen appliances, utensils etc let me know as I have most of it in storage. If you'd like to know more let me know, happy to chat or meet over a coffee, I am also happy to provide references.
I’m a full time law student at the ANU and work at UC, Legal Aid and the Animal Defenders Office as a paralegal. I’m very clean, quiet and reliable. I’m mostly at work, uni or the gym. I enjoy running, hiking, photography, cooking and acting. Ideally looking for somewhere for at least 6 months. Please let me know if you have any questions! Happy to provide more info :) Thanks, Judith
Hi :) I'm a 31yo hairdresser working full-time in the city. I work late during the week, and after talking to people all day with my job I usually just chill out in my room during the night. That said, I'm friendly and enjoy a good chat/shared meal/activity - I'd like to move in with people I could be mates with. As a housemate, I'm considerate, tidy and respectful of others space/privacy. According to my current housemate I "go alright." Flexible on move dates, as I've been renting a room from my mate.
I'm 25, a full time undergrad at ANU, and work a casual job (I'm the one on the left in the photo). I'm a non-smoker, very clean and tidy, and social but pretty laid back and easy going. I love the beach and swimming, being outdoors, travel and adventures, and trying new things. But don't let that fool you, I absolutely love my lazy days of binge-watching Netflix and junk food :) I'm looking for a household that is reasonable social and likes to share the occasional meal/drink/ect., but is still respectful of each others space and privacy. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have me. I'm after a place in the inner north (Acton, Reid, Campbell, Turner, Braddon, Ainslie and O'Connor). I look forward to hearing from you. Jade :)
I will be graduating from ANU in December with a postgraduate degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and am looking to move in to a place after my graduation. I am currently working full time so during weekdays I shall be out of the house between 8am to 6pm. I have been living in a share house in O'Connor, so I am well aware about keeping the place neat and tidy. A bit about me, I am a very accomodating person and know about respecting others boundaries. During my free time, I like to cook, watch Netflix and I love picking up small DIY projects from reddit/pinterest.
