I'm a social policy professional who's just starting a Phd at University of Syd so it's time to tighten the belt after years of living alone and enjoying the good life! Apart from working and studying, I do yoga regularly at a warehouse studio in Surry Hills, walk, swim, eat out, enjoy writers festivals and cultural events and travel. I enjoy a really clean, light-filled, beautiful home to chill out in. To that end, I'm more than happy to share the costs of a cleaner. I'm looking to share with people who are generous, creative, respectful, and intelligent i.e. please don't contact me if you are racist, sexist, or homophobic. I bring some beautiful furniture, art works, books, kitchen stuff, but also happy to work with what already exists/ what's needed. Prefer to live with just one other person if possible.
27 years old, born and raised in Sydney. Looking for an awesome bunch of people who enjoy socialising. I love going for dinner/drinks and but also enjoy a cheeky netflix session after work to wind down. I'm very active and love all sports especially Rugby. I work in Finance/Funds Management full time in the CBD. I'm tall (6ft 5in!) so I'll probably need a room that fits a queen size bed.
I am a Retoucher/Fitness photographer. Spent my working career in Advertising. Love the outdoors, beach anything that gets me away from the computer. I have a small 15yr old dog Belle. She basically sleeps all day after I walk her in the morn. She loves people and other dogs. I love fitness, go to gym 4-5 x p/w, like the occasional social drink and basically love to have a good laugh at the end of the day.
Polite. Respectful of others. Different. Funny. I don't know, I just do life different. Love to travel and do new stuff
Hi! My name is Ellen and I'm 20 years old. I have recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and am looking for a place to move into short-term. I'm very friendly, laid-back and easy to get along with. I like to socialise and go out with friends but I also enjoy spending quiet time at home. I work nights at a restaurant in Balmain and spend my days modelling, swimming at the beach and going to cafes and bars. I am honest, organised and completely responsible. I'm more than happy to help cook and clean to maintain a happy, tidy house! I don't have any pets of my own but would love a place that has a cat or a dog for me to cuddle and love. I'm looking to move into a place with housemates that are happy to hang out with me but where I can have my own space too.
Hi, I am a student and part-time worker looking for a place to live. I am rather easy going, whilst clean and neat in general.
Hi! I work as a consultant for a technical advisory firm (I would tell you more, but it requires many acronyms that require googling, and possibly a bottle of wine to get through). As a fully functioning adult, I work hard, I play often, and I like to come home to friends, not just random people I happen to share a house with. You will most likely be subject to try random concoctions I make (you can blame Pinterest). But don't worry, I am considerate enough to learn your "not again" and "i need space" face. If I am missing from home, you can probably find me at an art gallery, a museum, the beach, with friends at brunch or at a bar, or I'm probably just in my room zoning out.
Hi! I'm a fun, easy going, communicative and sociable gal from New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm a student artist and I just arrived to Sydney to study abroad for a semester at the Sydney College of the Arts. Unfortunately, my original accommodation fell through so I'm looking for a place to move into as soon as possible (SOS!). I'm clean and never back down from a pile of dirty dishes. I love dogs, exploring nature, eating good food and watching movies. I enjoy my personal space but also love to hang around and chat after a busy day. Hope to get in touch soon!
Hello, I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I'm moving to Sydney for 6 months to a year next week and I'm looking for a fun, professional place to live. I work in the VFX industry, I've never been to Australia and I'm really excited to come explore. I work full time, like being outdoors, meeting new people and exploring new places. I'm pretty quiet to live with, I love making good food and having someone to chat with around the house. I'm not usually home much as I work a lot and like to get out and about after work ect. Thanks! Emily
Hi I'm Saskia! I recently moved to Sydney from London. I wanted to live abroad and get some sunshine for once in my life and hopefully explore a little bit of Australia at the same time but ideally concentrate on work and would like to make some roots here in Sydney! I'm friendly, laid back/down to earth, clean/tidy, respectful of others/noise levels and I enjoy cooking. I like going out for a few drinks or to a gig with friends but I'm not a clubber anymore :) Love the outdoors and the sea. I'm a Printed Textiles Designer and looking to get into Interior Design here in Australia. Hoping to meet like minded people to share a house with. X
Hi, i'm Medhi, 25 yo french here on a working holiday visa, full time employed in a bar in the CBD, i mostly work at night and week ends. Easy going, worked and lived in many parts of the world like South Africa, The Netherlands, UK, Hong Kong, Montenegro, Thailand, Sint Maarten and now Australia. Into music, fitness, I'm a very active person always trying to be the better version of myself.
I'm an avid traveller and when I'm not overseas I'm studying Speech Pathology at USYD. Studied history in Italy and ate and danced my way around the world before coming to Sydney. I'm very well house trained, eat good food that won't make your stomach turn, drink wine and am a very easy going and active person.
Hi, we're moving to Sydney from London and looking to find a great place in the inner west suburbs-Balmain/Rozelle or lower north shores area. Keen to live with like-minded, easy-going people who're keen for a laugh but also reliable and considerate other other housemates etc. About us: Mark (English) is a 28yo professional who loves his sport, likes a beer and loves to cook! Jen (Scottish) also 28, works in banking, likes going to the gym, chilling out watching tv and enjoys a cheeky gin from time to time! We're both pretty chilled out, easy to get on with and respectful of other housemates etc. Looking to find somewhere to move in from end of April. Cheers, Mark & Jen
I'm looking for just the right person to start a 2 bed house/flat share with. There's really some decent stuff out there to rent and I'm keen to make a new home that works for both of us. A bit about me: I'm a 27 yr old female from Cape Town, South Africa, here doing my phd in algae research. I like doing a lot of regular things: cooking, going to LGBT events, pretending to read books, actually watching Netflix, and painting. The painting part is important, because I'd like to live with someone who enjoys the idea of having someone painting in the living room as apposed to disturbed by it. (I paint quite large canvases). Rest assured I keep it all pretty tidy. Fresh. A great flat mate will be like-minded (up for the odd drunken philosophical discussion), be happy to do equal portions of cleaning, have a job, and be down with said arts and crafts activities. The perfect flatmate would have furniture for the place! This is a big stretch and I will certainly not rule out people who don't come furnished and frilled. We can figure that out later/get a furnished/semi furnished place. Looking forward to finding you my flatmate friend!
Hi! My name is Livia. I am from Japan but worked in Austria for last 7 years. I am a professonal shoemaker and going to start work from April in Sydney. I am always very positiv, easy going, creative and respectful for other people. I am clean and very easy to live with. I am used to living with people for long time and I had always good experience with flatmates! I LOVE cooking, traveling, exploring, gardening and meet new people. I wish to find a place where to spend my grate Australian time with nice people! ;-)
Hey! My name is Amy and I'm a 20 year old university student. I am studying international studies at UNSW and work two jobs in the city. I am properly house trained meaning I know how to clean up after myself. Can't wait to hear from you :)
25 year old who works full time in the city. Currently living in Wollongong and looking to move to Sydney. I'm looking to team up with someone and get a two bedroom unit together, preferably in or close to Drummoyne. Pretty quiet during the working week and love to spend my weekends socialising with my friends. Love a good Netflix binge. I would love to be friends with my new roommate but also understand the need for personal space. I'm pretty easy going and love having a laugh! Also a very tidy person and would appreciate someone who was the same. I have all the furnishings for a unit so you'd only need to bring your own bedroom furniture. I can be flexible with the moving date.
Hi there, The lease ended at my last house and I'm currently looking for a new place to call home. I'm looking either for a room to rent or looking to start a little group and search for a place together. I love to live with people I can call friends and people I can share a cooked dinner and drink or two with during the week. I'm very easy going, tidy up after myself, love to cook and feed others and enjoy a boogie here and there. I have a flexible move in date and I am looking for something more long term but can easily work with short term. If this is something similar to what you're looking for! Shoot me a message! Jen
Hey! We're two 20 year old science students looking for a new home. We are very clean, friendly and courteous, and love to have a good time. Liam is currently studying nanotech at UNSW, and likes archery and science fiction. He's also a great cook ;) Lucy is studying neuroscience at Usyd, and loves art, reading and music. We both like to keep busy, and may not be home a whole lot, especially during the semester, but we're always down to chat or have a few drinks with housemates at the end of the day. We'd preferably like to live with 1-2 other people, and would be very interested in teaming up with others to form our own house.
I cook I like a clean house especially the kitchen, though not a clean freak. I am also happy to do garden chores (even a vege' patch) I work as a Sydney Harbour Tallships "Pirate actor" (I have been doing a pirate show for the last three years) Also as a tour guide with Tallships. I love the smell of Real Coffee anytime of the day ..... Sport interested and active. I sometimes do cosplay - medieval re-enacting in the winter months. I have some of my own furniture, and some baggage too .... O well. Into education, currently studying eco/sustainability with Inner West Councils.
Professional, non smoking, female looking for a unfurnished room asap:) Hey there, I'm Kay:) 31 year old looking for somewhere to move asap. I am a full time Social Worker with a NFP company I've been with for 7 years. I am generally out of the house a couple of nights a week at my boyfriend's place. I don't smoke, love cats and dogs (but don't own any), am easy going, clean and have my own bedroom furniture. I have a car too. I enjoy going to markets and chilling on weekends:) I go to the occasional F45 during the week and enjoy a vino or two:) happy to fit in with most share houses as I've mostly been sharing since uni:) If you think I might fit the bill, drop me a line:) Cheers, Kay
Hi! My name is Floor (short for Florence) and I'm a friendly, easy going, creative girl from The Netherlands :) I love drawing, exploring, listening to music, cooking and hanging out with friends. I'll be studying at SCA this semester and I'm looking for a nice home and would love to make new friends. Invite me over to your home for some Dutch 'gezelligheid'! I'll always be there when you fall - Floor ;)
We are all from the Philippines. I am a reserved and quiet person around strangers, but I can be great company when I get to know someone. I am a computer software engineer by profession and I like computer games, but I also surf and recently seriously started practicing calisthenics. Jaymari is a very business-minded individual, and is always looking for start-up business opportunities. I am currently working with him on a government-funded research project. Matthew is currently working as a system administrator at a large company. He is very cheerful and game for anything.
Hey there! I'm a 28 year old Network and Systems Engineer from California. I had the pleasure of doing some work projects in Australia in my past job and enjoyed it so much that I made a permanent move to Sydney! It's been almost three years now and I've grown to love all that Sydney (and the inner west) has to offer. I'm a social, friendly individual that loves to explore and meet new people. On weekends I'm out and about, likely scuba diving, bushwalking, motorbiking, live comedy, etc. If the weather's bad, I'll be working on some software projects, reading, brewing beer, or indulging in Netflix. Have I mentioned that I have access to ALL US streaming services? I'll hook it up :). I work in an office mostly from 8-5pm Monday to Friday, and am traveling for work occasionally. I keep it low key during the week and relax at home after hitting the gym. As far as goods that I can contribute to a home, I have a large fridge, washing machine, large dining table with 6 chairs, 55 inch 4K TV, TV unit, and a couple pots/pans/etc. These are in a storage unit so if we don't need them, I can keep them there. I'm looking for a "home" like environment with my flatmate(s). Having friends over for dinner parties, and the occasional BBQ or event is more my style. I'm happy to socialise and have the occasional beer and/or dinner with the flatmate(s), but also respect everyone's right to unwind and have their privacy. I consider myself very clean and always pick up after myself in common areas as well as contribute to shared chores and responsibilities. It's easy when everyone communicates well and chips in for each other! Speaking of that, feel free to message me if you have any questions! Cheers.
Hi there! I am an outgoing and sociable person, who enjoys spending time with my 4 year-old golden labrador Macie. I love being outside in the sunshine, but can also spend time curled up in my room watching TV or reading a good book.
Hello there, I am from Perth originally and recently I've decided to make a big life change and moved to Sydney. So I've sold everything I had in Perth and came to Sydney with a few suit case and two dogs. I have no friends or family in Sydney and would definitely like to share a place with like minded people and possibly meet some people along the way. My only family are my dogs. I have two small crossbreed dogs. A Pomeranian x poodle and a shitzu x Tibetan spaniel. Both are 6 years old and well trained. They are indoor dogs and loves food, kisses and cuddles. Both dogs are hypoallergenic and are indoor dogs. I am a young professional (age 29) finding my way in this fast pace city. I am very clean and tidy. Some may say I am a clean freak. I rarely go out but seeing that I am in Sydney, definitely would love to see the city a little bit more whether it is at night or day time providing that we don't have work. I like to hang out and chill at the beach as well. I am adventurous and spontaneous, usually I don't ponder around and wait for things to happen. I would like to meet and live with like minded people and share my journey living in Sydney together and to make the house a homely feel. Definitely would like to rent a house / townhouse together with someone rather than renting a room, however, beggars can't be choosers. Preferably a house / townhouse rather than an apartment. Thank you for reading :)
I'm a film Coordinator moving out from Camden. I work in Chippendale. I have got my own bedroom furniture, I'm tidy, non-smoker. Love all sorts of music, I have a massive film collection and I enjoy a few drinks but I like to keep the party outside and chill in the evenings.
Hi, My name is Nadia and I am an easy going Polish girl in her 20's who is looking for a friendly house to move in. I will be studding fine arts full-time and working part-time. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past years. I get along very well with all kinds of people, and I am always respecting house rules. I am also a huge movie buff, who enjoys good live music in my free time. I am able to move in from the 8th of February. Looking forward to hearing from you, Nadia
Hi there, I moved from London to Sydney because of a six month job offer in the TV industry. Originally from Italy, I'm clean, respectful and very easy to get along with. I'm looking for a room (ideally furnished) and nice housemates to live with. I'd love to find a place that I can call home rather than just a place where to sleep.
An Englishman living abroad who is trying to find a friendly bunch of people to live with and hopefully have some great times ! Working full time as a project manager in Balmain and looking to move in to a place where my housemates are after a friend as well as someone to live with. Love trying new and exciting foods and more importantly cooking for people so if you've had a long day at work, there's a good chance it could be made easier. A big fan of going for a few beers after work or having a nice glass of wine whilst watching some weird and wonderful TV series on Netflix or Stan. My speciality is British Comedy so hopefully we can chuck a few dvds in when we run out of episodes on Netflix. Spend a lot of time in the week at work and looking at joining the gym/a rugby team in the local area so therefore won't be around loads in the week but I do have occasional weekends at home so would like to see new and exciting places around Australia. Very open to meeting people who are after someone to join them on their adventures but also understand having your own time is important ! Especially after a long week. Anyway, I hope to hear from you all and if you would like to know anything else, I'm an open book !
Work more or less full time thru the week and have college in the evenings, would be spending very little time at home during the week. I work as a Bicycle mechanic enjoy mountain biking, and staying fit. I'm studying at Uni and keep myself busy between the above two things. During the week I volunteer at an Op-Shop as a Handyman, and enjoy working doing home projects. Can solve most electrical, and other house kinda issues... Basically useful. I'm mostly on here looking for people to Team-up and start a house over the Long-term. Ideally a year or longer. I do have a couple of people interested, my current room mate may also decide to join-in to the house. But neither of them have confirmed. Clean, tidy, lived in a share house, happy to roster a cleaning routine, respectful of another person's space and things, friendly. Open and happy to host pets. Get in touch and can figure out the rest...
Hi all, My name is bella, I'm 23 and am working full time in the TV industry and am looking to move closer to the city and reduce some travel time. I'm really easy going and as long as your clean and up for a glass of wine every now and then I'm happy. I can't cook so sorry but our lives will consist of lots of take out and left overs. I would be interested in a team up and trying to find a place and start off fresh in a new place. If you would be up for something like that definitely message me and we can go from there. Feel free to message me and we can have a chat and see what works! Thanks, bella
Hey future flatmates! I've moved up from Melbourne for a new position in banking/IT in Barangaroo. I can stay with family while I search so am semi-flexible with dates. I'll be moving up with just my personal things so happy to have a furnished house but furnish my own room. I'm originally from Canada (near Vancouver). I'm laid back, enjoy a clean home (and of course help with all the chores, no roster necessary!), and cook a few times a week when I'm not out. Would like to live in a non-smoking home, not a party home, but am happy to have a wine (or two!). Also love going to the gym/running, brunch, and any random fun activities I can get my hands on. Pretty new to all the different suburbs so not sure exactly what I'm looking for, so feel free to message me if you think I'd be a good fit! Something close to the city (I'll be working in Barangaroo) would be ideal. I also have a car that I would super love to be able to park off the street but either way, if there's street parking then I'll take that too.
My name is Ebony. I'm looking for a place to stay in Sydney for 7 weeks. I'm a professional makeup artist and have been offered 6 weeks of work in Sydney. I'll be working full time - so won't be in anyones way, and am extremely clean and professional. I'm from a small town in northern NSW - Yamba - so I love the outdoors and nature. I keep to myself normally and try not to get in the way.
Hello! I am a 29 year old professional working in fundraising for a not-for-profit organisation in the CBD. I recently moved back to Sydney, after living and working in London for the last 3 years and would like to move closer to the CBD to make the most of enjoying this beautiful city we live in. When I'm not at work, I like cooking, reading, rock climbing, being outdoors and spending my weekends exploring new places. I'm an easy-going, clean, respectful and friendly/sociable person but also enjoy my own time so it would be great to meet similarly minded people and live somewhere that's not just a house but a happy home!
Hi, I'm Andy, 23 years, looking for a single room to occupy for 3 month. I work regular business hours during the week as a Software Engineer in the city. I work hard during the week but I'm always up for a chat and a relaxing beer in the afternoon. On my weekends I enjoy relaxing around the house, catching up with friends, or exploring around the city.
Hi I’m Rhiannon, I’m a 27yr old professional currently working full time in jewellery buying. What makes me a great housemate, besides the fact that I can make a mean chicken fajita & I own a guacamole making device? I am tidy & I take pride in a clean home. I am friendly, easy to get along, considerate & don’t slam doors. I enjoy a good chat, a laugh and healthy dose of sarcasm. I have previously lived in Dulwich Hill, Leichhardt & most recently Russell Lea; I have really enjoyed living these areas and am happy to stay around here but at the same time am also open to a location change as I enjoy the North too. I have all my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is highly preferable as well as bit and pieces to add to the household if wanted Any questions, just let me know :) My move date can be quite flexible so please ignore the above date
Pretty easy going. When not working I am either at the gym, reading or trying to figure out my next weekend's escape. I work in Wynyard and would rather very avoid long commute. If you have a gym and the weekly rent is less than $350 (all bills included) please get in touch.
Easy to live with, clean, respectful and doesn't mind any kind of catch up with my room mate, a drink or a meal occasionally. I have a beautiful small rubber tree and a frangipani, in an ideal place, there's space for them. Most of the time I'm working, exercising or out with friends and evenings at home are usually time to chill out. :)
I'm a very considerate person, so I respect other people with high regard. Yet, I'm still someone who is always prepared for a great time, I love to hang out with others in my free time. I'm also happy to have anybody over for dinners, drinks, you name it! During the week, I am pretty busy with working in Crows Nest at Norths Basketball and studying law and commerce full time at Macquarie. Most days I'm out of the house in the morning and might not be back until later into the night. On holidays though, I do like to recharge and just relax at home. I have a girlfriend who would ideally be able to spend 1 - 2 nights with me as I would be doing the same with her. I'm happy with pets as I have grown up my whole life with them. I look forward to hearing from you.
We are an Estonian couple currently on our working holiday in Australia. We love to travel and explore the world. We are really clean and tidy, there will not be any problems with cleaning after ourselves. We respect everyones privacy and we hope others will respect ours as well. Usually we spend the days outside discovering the city or just spend the whole day in the beach. Backpackers with suitcases. We own a car so a parking spot is a must. Back at home Eliis just finished bachelors in law and took a year off before continuing with masters degree. Steve is a lifelong sales and businessman, with a higher degree in business management. We are a really friendly and polite couple and we are keen to find some new friends on our trip in Australia.
Belgian student, doing a master in English literature at the University of Sydney. I love learning new things, and I can offer some great European cooking skills. Non-smoker, nature lover and polite. I'd love some place homely to stay for 6 months.
Hi I'm Shannon. I have an engineering degree but changed to financial markets. I'm quiet and I enjoy bumping into flatmates at home but otherwise I keep to myself most of the time. I clean up after myself (especially in common areas). I'm trustworthy and never miss a bill. I like helping people, especially in areas I have experience in, such as: aerospace engineering, mathematics, algorithms, financial markets, derivatives pricing and trading, music history and theory, piano, strings and percussion.
Hi! I'm looking for a relaxed, friendly, respectful and clean/tidy household where people are happy to chat and have a laugh but also do their own thing. Ive been living on my own for the last few years but want to move closer to work (Sydney Uni) plus I love the inner west vibe. I have a wide range of interests but I especially I love animals so pets are a bonus!
I've been sharing flats and warehouses with people since I was 17. I've also been a housemate in other countries (I studied and lived in wales and in japan). I'm pretty easy going, and since i have spent a long time living with others, understand that being respectful is very important :) I spend most of my time in my studio, and making work, but I do love to party and hang out with my friends as well.
Hey there, i'm Carly and i'm a student at UTS studying communication. I'm a traveler, film enthusiast, love to bake and am often at music festivals. I'm working part time and will be looking for a room somewhere in the inner west close to a train line, light rail or buses. I'm house trained and sociable, and am often baking or cooking something interesting. I'm looking for something long term, so minimum must be 6 months. I'm ready to go with bond and rent money to move in ASAP. Looking around Leichhardt, Glebe, Erskinville, Stanmore, Petersham, Newtown, Enmore, Annandale etc. I have all my own furniture so need somewhere unfurnished.
We are a Chilean couple together for 3 years now, travelers (for the last 6 months) we've been in over 30 countries and now are seattling in Sydney for one year, we also love cooking and sharing our food over a cup of wine during the weekends. We also enjoy hiking and going to the beach on weekends, during the weekdays is only work and gym, we are very clean and would prefer our roomies to be as well.
Hello there! I'm Francesca, I'm an Italian student and I'm planning to come to Sydney at the end of the month for a four-month internship.. I'm a positive and friendly person, I'm not a "party animal" but I enjoy a drink or a chat after work with my future flatmates! I hope to meet you soon, have a nice day! Francesca :)
I am a quite organized person, I usually shared room with brazilians in Brisbane. But now I want to live with foreigners from other countries to practice and improve the english.
Hi, I'm Rosie, easy going, enjoy new experiences and spend free time getting out and soaking up what Sydney has to offer. I'm an owner of a start up drinks company and work part time in another job. I generally work day time hours - sometimes from home. Keeping fit and healthy are important to me, being outdoors and active. I play AFL for a local womens team which takes up a few evenings training and a big chunk of the weekend playing games. I have a good group of friends, enjoy a drink at the pub and socialising but I'm not heavy into partying. I'm pretty standard when it comes to sharing a home - relaxed, friendly, like a chat and a laugh, keep things clean and tidy without any hassle etc. I do need my me time - being in my own world to recharge and switch off a bit, and I respect that others need the same. Home for me is where I get to relax and slow down.
I will be studying Paramedicine. I enjoy socialising and meeting new people as well as enjoying a balance of down time. Looking for a place ideally before uni starts which is the 27th of Feb however can be a little after that! :) -Kat
Hii guys, I`m Bob a 24-year-old Pharmacy masters student who will be staying in Sydney for 6 months. I will be doing research at the Woolcock Institute in Glebe. I`m an outgoing, easy to talk to and fun to party with kinda guy. I`m no stranger to living with roommates. I would love roommates who like to do stuff together. I can cook, and I don`t mind cleaning. I like to swim, run and work out in general. I would love to hear from you. Cheers
I am a clean, tidy, respectful and quiet person, however I do enjoy meeting new people and going to gigs/festivals. I am currently working as a nanny/carer whilst studying early childhood education at Macquarie University :-)
