Hey, hi! I'm Sophia and I will be starting my first year at National Art School in 2018 and am looking for a place to live! I'm patient, adaptable, considerate and easy-going. I love exploring, adventuring and just hanging out at home. I'm vego but have no problem with living in a home with meat-eaters :) I'm a creative person and love getting to know new people! Please message me with any questions you have and hope you're having a good day/night!
Hello, I am a working professional who is fun and reliable to live with. I am looking for a quiet place to live which is close to amenities, cafes and restaurants and a lovely house to chill. I am 47 but don't look my age. I have a good network of friends in Sydney so I am independent and pretty much do my own thing. But love a good chat and am a very supportive flatmate. A good package - independent yet social and supportive!
Me and my friend need temporary accomodation for 4-8 weeks in central Sydney. We are both very chilled tidy people who just need a place to stay for a short while as a base for our belongings. We won’t be in much as we are very active and will be working. Would prefer to be located near Potts point or anywhere close to.
Hi there, We are a young couple with a small well behaved Kelpie, we are looking to live with a great bunch of people in Sydney. I work on the harbour for a sailing charter company and robbie works driving machinery on development projects. We would like a place where we can have our dog, if we can't find somewhere we will send him home to robbies parents place but I am creating this advert to hopefully find somewhere because I will really miss him if we have to send him home! Thanks Jas and Rob
I'm a helpful person who likes chat with people from everywhere and learns about different cultures. I'm clean, quiet, and responsible. Im looking to move as soon as possible. Saludos
Looking for a new place to call home. Ideally looking for somewhere close to the water. Very considerate roomie, I work full-time monday-friday. Gym in the morning and midweek work late or out most evenings. Weekends are spent travelling or chilling out. Looking for someone on the same schedule, I am very chilled out but like to have a nice pad to come home too.
I'm clean, considerate and looking for a temporary home-from-home. Really excited to finally be starting my working holiday visa but before you lose interest, rest assured I'm 30 years old and not a crazy backpacker from the UK looking for a wild party; I'll have a full-time job in admin and I'm here to get away from the rain in Scotland for a year or two before I'm too old. Having said that, I'll always be up for some socialising and fun at weekends. I have some aussie friends in Sydney already but I'd like to live with people I can call friends too, rather than just bill sharers. I'm looking for respectful professionals who live in a clean, calm environment and like to have a chat in the evenings, and maybe go on some adventures at weekends. Looking for 3 months at least but I don't know how long I'll be staying in Sydney, it all depends how much I like it, so I'd love it if there was room for a bit of flexibility with duration... No worries if not. Move in date is also flexible at the minute but not until at least 15th February as I'll be traveling over around then and I can stay with friends while I find my feet.
I am a girl from Estonia, turn 26yo in couple of weeks. I have lived in Australia for almost 2 years now. I am working for a property company and in a restaurant in CBD. My budget is around 250AUD, bills included. Preferably in either Bondi, Waterloo, Woolloomollo, Darlinghurst, Double Bay, Paddington, Bellevue Hill, Ultimo, Glebe, Chippendale, Surry Hills, Waterloo surroundings. I know it will be a long shot, but I am looking for a private room with this price. It is just for 2 months as my visa will expire on the 22nd of January. If you don’t mind helping me within this short time, please do not hesitate to contact! I look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks! :)
Hi, I'm a 25 year old professional from London looking to move to Sydney for my secondment. I'm searching for accommodation for 3 months starting from December and am really clean, easy going and social. I'll be working full time but looking for a relaxing home and potential friends to come home to and maybe help me explore the area etc.
I'm a fun, friendly and social person who loves a good brunch and a day drink in the sun as well as cocktails at night :) I'm clean and respectful and love to keep my home fresh. I work as a professional in the CBD and can't wait to explore all and more that Sydney has to offer.
Hey there - I am a 28 year old female from the UK. I lived in Sydney about 3 and a half years ago and i have been back here and working for a couple of months. I am currently contracting in a treasury role in the city. I am quite laid back, I like my own space but I am also very friendly and open to sharing some drinks or activities with my house mates. I like to work out, go for brunch...at any time of the day, travel and socialise with friends. If you feel like you would like me as a house mate then please get in touch! Thanks x
Hi, I'm Kelly, I'm 29. I'm looking for a home for myself and my dog Penny. I have been living alone in Paddington for the past 2 years but it's become quite expensive and it would be nice to have some company. We've done the share house thing in the past and am open to finding some lovely people to share with again. I have gone back to uni in the last few years studying Interior Architecture at UNSW and work as an Associate in the city. During uni semester I work part-time and attend classes full time, when it is uni holidays I work full time 5 days. Prior to going back to school I worked in Finance full time so I understand how demanding full time professional work can be so please don't put me into the 'student' category. My course is really full on so when uni is on I'm usually swamped doing assignments at the computer for hours at night and weekends. It's not a study or essay heavy degree so I don't need to be in concentration mode but it's very heavy on graphic design and construction which takes many hours. Outside of assignments I enjoy getting outside, taking my dog for a walk, staying fit by going for runs or to the gym. I try to eat well but i'm not a confident chef (I know 5 recipes and rotate my meal prep) I enjoy a TV series binge sesh, going to the movies, catching up with friends and exploring little pockets of Sydney. I'm looking for a home and not just a room to rent. Room mates that are respectful and considerate of each others needs and schedules. Igo out to socialise and come home to relax. I like to live in a tidy house but I'm not a clean freak by any means. I'm very quiet around the house but love some good banter, I don't want to be strangers but also respect each others space and privacy. My dog, Penny (9) is fully trained, very quiet and is my shadow. While I'm out she is sleeping in a sunny spot. She's quite shy and takes a little bit to warm up to people but once she does she is a great cuddle buddy. You wouldn't need to worry about feeding or walking her, she is 100% my responsibility. The other person would need to have a genuine love for dogs/animals and understand what comes with having a dog in the house (water dish on floor etc.) I need to give my landlord 2 weeks notice but am on a month-to-month rental agreement so I'm pretty much good to go :)
I've just moved to Sydney from Ireland on a working holiday. Looking for full-time work in the technology industry and would like to live in a modern apartment in the Eastern Suburbs. I'm a tidy person, enjoys cooking, good tv and socialising.
Nick and I are looking either for a big room, preferably with use of own bathroom in a sharehouse or a place on our own. Nick is a gardener by day and artist by night/weekend. He currently rents a garage in Paddington as a studio but if a place became available to live that had a comparable area to use as studio instead that would be a huge bonus! Rachael has just finished a postgrad law degree and will start as a newbie lawyer in the new year (not corporate). Until then she's got RA and paralegal work lined up. We love animals so would love to join a house with pets or one open to a rescue cat/small dog in the future. We are clean and tidy individuals, social but also love home to be a quiet and peaceful place when we get home from busy days. Nick is will bring his gardening skills to any new place and some plants including a small bonsai collection :)
Hi, My name’s Nicola. I’m an architect and I’m moving to Sydney from Brisbane for work at the end of the year. I’m looking for a small share house (with one or two others) that’s close to work and the water. I’m pretty quiet and tidy, although sometimes it would be nice to come home and share a bottle of red! I’m looking forward to exploring in and around Sydney, and living closer to the beach. I have a house full of furniture I can bring if anything’s needed My moving date is flexible - i just need to be there to start work in early January
Hi future roomates, I'm Ella, 22 years old and working full time in Surry Hills for a Marketing agency (9 to 5). Currently looking for a room towards the end of November, preferably unfurnished. On my days off I enjoy hanging out with friends, going for walks and maybe a dip at the beach if the weather is good! I also like the occasional drink and dance. Overall, I'm a chilled and considerate person and i'm looking forward to meeting new people and sharing a home :-)
Hello, I am looking for a private room in the city or in the Northern suburbs. I work full time Sun-Fri, and i am studying masters part-time as well. I am barely at home, but i enjoy cooking or having a drink at home on the weekends. Cheers :)
Hello! Quiet, organised, clean person. I'll be moving to Sydney (working in Oxford St) over the next few weeks to manage a company store and am looking for a pet-friendly place. I have two quiet well-behaved birds, and two cats. All of my animals are potty trained too. I'd love to hear from you. Will happily drink wine andcook for you and bake tasty things (including tiramisu). Thanks!
Hey there! I'm a 27yo Aussie guy who's just come back to Sydney after living in the UK for the past 4 years. I'm working as a data scientist, building AI and machine learning software. A little bit about me ... I like doing all the usual stuff cooking, a few drinks after work, live music (mainly jazz), the odd netflix binge (I've just started watching Mindhunter). I also enjoy crossfit, road cycling and triathlons. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere that feels like home, where we have our own things going on but don't mind having a chat after work over dinner or going out for a drink now and again to the pub. I think I'm pretty easy to live with and clean up after myself. If you think I'd be a good match, give me a shout.
Hello there :) I'm Sabi from Germany travelling Australia on my 2nd working holiday visa looking forward to live and work in Sydney for the next months. I am very friendly and clean and although I might leave a mess if I'm in a hurry I always come back to tidy up after myself. I never leave dirty dishes in the sink! In my free time I enjoy cycling and running as well as cooking and taking a stroll through the neighbourhood.
Hi there! I'm Greek, grew up in Zimbabwe but been living in Australia for nearly 14 years. My family now live in Perth so I visit them when I can. I currently work as a communications advisor for Sydney Trains but I am also starting my own business in natural skin care. I enjoy exercising, being outdoors, travel, hanging with friends, meeting new friends, music, meditation, cooking, wine and I'm a big foodie :) I am currently in Double Bay but my housemate is moving to Melbourne for work so we need to be out of our place by 24 November.
