20 year old from Scotland. I am very out-going, friendly and easy to get along with. I have been travelling Australia since August 2015 and been in Melbourne since December 2015. I am currently working full-time in the city and will be until i leave Melbourne (should be around June 2017 or hopefully longer). Enjoy the occasional night out at weekends and sociable drinks after work (sometimes). I also love meeting new people. I have lived in a few other house shares, so i am well trained at keeping the place clean and tidy and respecting that other people need their space and time alone too. Preferably looking for a private room.
Hey! We're 2 best friends who have just moved to Melbourne after travelling Thailand and Bali. Both have working visas and are frantically looking for jobs so we can live comfortably and buy a whole new wardrobe to replace these awful travelling pants. Hoping to find epic people to share a place with, we bring smiles, laughter and occasional sarcasm :)
Jake and I are both two passionate individuals who enjoy music, sport, cooking, and getting to know people. We are both planning to attend Monash Uni next year for music courses, but would like to live around the city. Coming from the Phillip Island, Jake and I love the beach, and we are both very down to earth. We love all things art, and we will be able to go to some cool and funky galleries, cafes, and performances when living around the city. Jake has a bit of OCD in terms of cleanliness, and will be a great addition to the household as a domestic partner. Emma is full of vim and vigour, and will bring interesting perspectives into the household. We are a couple of two and a half years, and definitely not full-on in terms of PDA!!! Being musicians, we obviously love gigging and jamming with mates.
20 year old female, working full time in retail at Chadstone. Looking to move closer to work (I currently travel 1h 45min), but still staying close by the city/outer suburbs. I'm tidy and organised. Looking for somewhere where I can be friends/have a laugh/drink with flat mates, but also be allowed to have my own downtime.
Hey There! We are a very tidy, clean, fun and easy-going couple. We are going to stay in Melbourne until at least March/ April because I am fulltime working in a Café with super nice collegues and really want to stay in this beautiful City. Richi is about to catch up with me in the end of December after finishing his master degree back in Germany. Our interessts are Yoga, cooking, good literature, conversations about philosophy, metaphysics or just random stuff as well as having drinks with friends or playing hankysack or fresbee at the parc,...... Whatever it takes to enjoy life. If that sounds like nice flatmates to you, let me know - Cheers!
I have lived in a share house before so understand the balance between fun and respecting others. This was in London and I have only been back in Australia for the past few months. Like to thing I bring a fun vibe to the house! My current position is in Sydney (so I am living in Sydney at the moment) however I will be making the move to Melbourne over the Christmas break. I will still be with my current employer thought so I have a reliable income. I work in the media industry so often have long work hours! On the weekends I love a cider and socialising with friends or a girls night out but also enjoy a Netflix marathon and night in. I also enjoy going for long walks and adventuring to new places on the weekend. If I'm stressed I tend to bake and share with my housemates otherwise I feel guilty eating it all... Please contact me, I would love to hear about the type of person you are looking for or if you would like to know a bit more about me.
I am a redheaded Swedish girl who's mostly happy, easy going, very tidy and hard working. I work a lot but always looking to have a good time, do new things weather it's watching a new movie or go to a new part of town. I'm looking for a cheap place to stay so that I can save my money to do fun activities rather than spend it all on accommodation. I am very open minded, have no allergies, love cats!
Hi, I am new to Melbourne (moving from Wellington). I am moving to Melbourne for work. I work in IT (8AM-5PM) full time. Outside of work, i like to exercise, cook, travel and read. I am looking for a place to live potentially for 6 months or more depending on how we get along. I am a very tidy and organised person. I am looking for a home not a house :)
Hi there! My name is Karolina. I am a 32 year old professional 9-5 worker who is looking for a new place to call my home. I am a neat and tidy person, who respects the place I live in. I like to do my own groceries, and as I am a vegetarian (I do eat fish) I like to cook my own food, but am more then happy to share. I do have a 2.5 year old foxy called Sparrow , who is a little shy at first, but is full of beans once he gets to know you. He is very house trained and super affectionate. He also loves the company of other dogs, so if you have a pooch yourself, that would be great! If the house has a garden, Sparrow loves to explore, and I have a bit of a green thumb where I grow herbs and some veggies - which I use in my cooking. I am looking for people who like to have a chat over a glass of wine, but also don't mind if we do our own thing and respect each others space.
I'm easy going, respectful and responsible. I believe in sarcasm and a good sense of humour. I'm a paediatric nurse, so great with bandaids. I sing and play the ukelele which could be a good or a bad thing depending on you. But don't worry, I will try and practice when you are out of the house. Im active, independent, and social. I won't be throwing raging parties, but do love to socialise. I'm a kind, generous and good-hearted person. I've just come back from living in London for four years. I'm vegetarian and do yoga, but don't judge me Judy!
We're all around great fun guys to be around. One of lives here permanently while the other has just arrived. We both work hospitality and love all things beach, skateboarding, graffiti and good times. We gel with most people and are just looking for some kick-ass folk to live with over the summer. Would love to hear any and all recommendations.
I'm not a stereotypical drunken Scotsman. Well, I do love a drink but that's not the point. Seriously though, I'm in Melbourne as a backpacker and since my friends are all leaving (it's not me, honest!) I need somewhere to stay with some awesome people. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and a trustworthy person. I'm not as boring as I make myself sound though; I'm sociable and love a laugh and good conversation. At the end of the day I'm a very laid back person who you'll have no bother getting on with!
Hey, I'm Anna From Germany, 28. I'm in Australia since January and I'm planning to stay air a few years. I am very interested in your beautiful room. I live in St Kilda in a Hostel and work as Traffic Controller in Melbourne. Is there any chance to view it? My mobile number is 0498155619 and Email email@example.com Best regards Anna
My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
Hi there, My name is Bobby (25) from the Netherlands. I love, live, strive and full of life Explorer, traveler, satisfied, happy and content packed a bag 6 months ago and went for my quest for quality of living! Spend the last six months in India where I impulsively decided to go to the land of OZ. I'll be working here: Belgian Beer Café Melbourne & market stands. Having me as a roommate is not flat, but uplifting. I love to share my personality with yours. So pick any extension from who I am and I share them with you: - Massage therapy - Music (percussion, guitar, flute, didgeridoo) - Photography - Poetry - Galactic conversations - Kindness - Stories - Books - Open mind and open heart Hope to see you soon! :)
Hi there, this is David. I'm a graphic designer and artist from Bogota, Colombia. I'm looking for a nice place to live with happy and easy going people. At the moment I'm studying and working part time. Im really chill guy, pretty much into art, design, cultural activities, sport and cool parties.
Hi my names Kelly, I am looking for people over 30's to move in with. I am easy going 29 year old female, I love to have a laugh and do not take life to seriously. I work in disability full time and love my job. I am tidy and "try" and live a healthy lifestyle, well I am trying!! Haha. If you feel like I could be a good house mate give me a msg. I am just ready to meet some nice people and live in an good environment, has to have my own bathroom to.
I'm a German just arrived in Melbs for at least four months. I'm supporting the opening of a store in Chadstone, that's what I'm here for (but I don't ever want to live in that area). I am easy to get along with and enjoy the company of others, but I also enjoy being by myself sometimes. During the week I keep it pretty low key but I enjoy drinks and going out on the weekend. As I already love this city I am looking forward to the next months!
Dear property owner, My name is Enrique and I am a doctor that works in the Alfred Hospital. My mum is coming to visit me from Spain and I am looking for a place for both of us from the 9th december until 22nd January when I am moving to Sydney as I have a job starting there. I am interested in an apartment a close to the Alfred Hospital or which doesn't have a long commute to the ALfred Hospital Thanks Enrique
Whats Up! My name is Joe, Im 22 y/o California native. I recently graduated from a design school in LA and am planing on working/traveling around Australia for the next year or two.
I like and I am so clean! I love to be around good people, because like a good latin (i'm from Chile), I'm a warm person. I studied Event Management so you will have a lot of good ideas of something fun to do (on weekends mainly) I'm a non smoker, animal lover and in general a open minded person :) Looking for a furnished and private room.
Bartender! Studying makeup. I have a king charles cavalier puppy who is 7 months old. Looking for someone else who might have a dog so he can have a friend. He is super cute and you will probably want me to move in purely based on this dog. Interested in starting a team up. Ideally somewhere in St. Kilda would be perfect. Wouldn't mind a two or three bedroom house with a backyard for puppies to run free. Anything with floorboards gets extra points. Mostly out nights at work. Do enjoy a chat or two but also love a good cry alone in my room session. Hobbies include makeup, ubereats, music, my dog and buying stupid things i dont need or paying for gym memberships i dont use. Originally from Adelaide. Been here for a year now.
I moved to Melbourne from India at the start of 2015 to pursue a PhD in Medicine. I love science, cooking, fur babies (not necessarily in the order). I'm also social, clean and responsible. Hobbies include doodling, diy projects, yoga.
Hi! I'm a 22-year-old student from Finland but I live and study Food & Nutrition in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm coming to Melbourne to do an exchange semester at Deakin university. I love: to cook, dance, travel, read, Netflix&chill and run. I'm tidy (but not too tidy), I'm social but love to be by myself every once in a while. And I love dogs! Love, Emma
I'm a 30 year old female originally from Queensland. I moved down to Melbourne 2.5 years ago after a stint travelling overseas and have been living in the Caulfield North area. I work full-time as a Music Therapist in healthcare. I like to be social and have a few wines but also like to do my own thing. I'm pretty easy going and won't leave a mess! Have been getting into jogging of late (quite a feat for me!) and love seeing live music. Leaving my current place as my housemate has taken the plunge to buy. Preferably looking to move into a place longer term 6 months - 1 year but flexible. Ideal move date would the 17th/18th Dec but able to move earlier if need be. Currently living with a little Staffy so all good with dogs too!
We are a clean and tidy couple who love to socialise and have a few drinks but also like our downtime chilling out watching Netflix etc. Ben works at a bar so he does come home quite late but he is super quiet in doing so. Aimee works 9-5 in advertising. We both love to travel and go away on weekends a lot. We are extremely laid back and relaxed about things and would ideally like to live with people that don't mind a bit of a drink and chat and nobody that has OCD cleaning issues haha 🙂
Hey there, we are three fun and hardworking girls from Germany and the states. We are easy to live with, love cooking and are always happy to meet new people. We met while working and port Douglas and would love to find a place together in Melbourne now. :)
Hi There! :) I am a Friendly, Down to earth, Clean person and not a party animal at all! I like home to be 'home' and a sanctuary to come home to and relax. I just moved down from up north after looking for business opportunities but plans fell through so am back in beautiful Melbourne! I lead a very Healthy lifestyle and eat very well so would be great to live with someone who leads a similar lifestyle! Non smoker etc! I am happy to start with a shorter lease time too if the right place and people become available.
Hi guys, I am Ssam, fFrench like to live a healthy lifestyle, I don’t drink and I am a non-smoker. I consider myself friendly, respectful, and eco-minded. I would like somewhere pretty chilled, a house— a nice place to relax and unwind but also have some friends coming over. I am coffee--/drinker and I think I have a vibe that would suit mature professional in their late 20s to mid-30s seeking a similar home lifestyle. If my profile sounds like something that would suit you, please get in touch and tell me about yourself and what you are looking for in an housemate! Many Thanks Sam
Mini Tan sausage dog, fully furnished house already owned with library. Love books, and quiet. Job involves interstate travel.
Paul's a Filipino-grown Melbourne Citizen who's been designing for as long as he can remember. That is his main passion. Paul is pretty social, tidy and easy going and looking for people of similar traits. Paul likes to talk in third person.
Accountant - Clean, responsible and reliable Snowboarder/Traveller - Extremely social and easy going, love chilling at home with friends or getting a drink after work Outdoorsy - Always looking for my next thrill
Both myself and Matt are from England, very chilled but social! I love my fitness and food - massive foodie! Matt loves to cook! So expect some good house dinners!! We are not your "hide in your room" kind of couple but we also respect peoples need for down time!
Hi guys, I´m Mascha a 24 yo Girl from Germany on my working Holiday visa. I just finished my Business degree back home after an amazing study abroad Semester in Gold Coast. Now I am back to Melbourne and I work at Messina Gelato, so an occasional ice cream on a hot summer day might be in for my future housemates as well ;) I´m looking for a social and easy- going place with nice people who don´t mind to share a glass of wine or have a BBQ together. Cheers :))
I have a cute doggie who loves to make new human friends. I work and study during the week and like to catch up with friends on the weekend. I prefer a nice brunch or coffee over a party any day. Love to have a good laugh and I am very considerate of others :)
Hello, I'm Adam, 25 and work as a Singer / Actor and between gigs I’m a Presenter at the Zoo. I’m a social, easy going guy who likes hitting the gym, watching Seachange on Netflix and enjoying a Friday night Gin or Scotch. I’m one who you can cook dinner (Thai maybe?) and have a drink with on the weekend but also respects others personal space. I believe that laughter is the best medicine and I’m proud of my toilet cleaning skills!
Hi I work full-time in a stable professional job and am currently studying part-time (marketing). I'm an easy going, social, respectful and tidy person, looking for similar in a housemate. I have a fairly active lifestyle and am out of the house a fair bit. During the week, with work, gym and socialising with friends, and then on weekends out studying at the library or again having fun with friends. A bit about me personally: love to stay fit (gym, running, swimming), travel (anywhere really), often like to plan weekends away, a bit of a foodie (though not the best cook) and always up for a good time. When I'm home I generally like to relax and unwind, and know how to be respectful of other peoples need for quiet time and space. Currently living out in Mornington but looking to move closer to the CBD towards the end of Jan. Open to moving into an existing share house or teaming up to find a new place together.
Heya! I'm Finnish guy turning 26 next January. I’ve been living in harmony for 8 years in shared houses. I’m a really easy going person so you can expect to get along with me easily. I’m always happy to socialise but also respectful of other people’s privacy and need for personal time. On top of that, I’m considerate towards others, responsible and happy to pull my weight in shared chores to keep the house clean & tidy. For me home is mainly place where you chill and load your batteries. I’m a neat mixture of introvert and extrovert. I love spending time with people and at the same time enjoy being on my own. Cooking is close to my heart and I’m always ready to cook with others, hopefully we can share a meal or two as well! Some other interests that I have: Books, movies, travelling, good wines & beer.
Hey all, I'm to start a new house share from Thornbury to Brunswick, Elwood to Caulfield and in any inner North, East or Southern Suburbs. My budget is $185/week, ready to move now. I'm 31, originally from QLD and have been living in Melbourne for about 3.5 years. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my psych degree. When I finish I'm aiming to get a job in a humanistic position. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). I'd like to say I sleep in but my body clock often doesn't allow it. It only lets me feel like I could sleep in on the days I have to work. Most of my social outings revolve around visiting friends or heading out to gigs, or maybe a sneaky festival once or twice a year. I enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, much prefer openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Do have some furniture to bring, kitchen stuff, no whitegoods though. Feel free to fire any questions my way 🙂 I'm ready to move asap!
Hi there, I have just finished a year of travelling around the world and am planning to move back to Melbourne. I lived in Brunswick East for 5 years before I left earlier this year. I was a professional and did work the normal Monday to Friday 9-5, but decided that was no longer for me and packed up and left to explore my passion of cooking. I plan on starting work in the Melbourne area in early January once I am back. I love cooking and actually make the final auditions of Masterchef 2016 but just missed out, so yes I am a decent cook and love cooking every night and having a taste tester around for an honest opinion is always handy. Bit about me, I grew up in Sydney and moved to Melbourne in 2011. I have travelled and lived all over the world, Spain, London, Colorado, The Greek Islands (This is where I lived this summer) I love the outdoors, animals, all sports, cooking and love a cold beer on a Sunday afternoon with a BBQ and fresh food from Vic markets. I love being near the water and peaceful weekends. I love Melbourne because it has so much on all year round. I am not exactly looking to move until the new year as I am spending Christmas and New years in Sydney before I end up back at work in Melbourne. I am easy going and clean and keep my living environments in the same manner. I have lived with both males and females over the years in all different countries and find that time spent in common living areas makes for a more comfortable home with good friends instead of just a house with random people I live with. Hopefully will find something that suites and look forward to a new year in the best city in Australia.
We are Lou 27 and Dave 29, a looking for a room to rent with friendly housemates in and around the Prahran / Windsor area! We're easy going, friendly and well house trained! We like cooking, eating good food and getting out and about around the city on our days off.
Carlo and I are two friends that met each other at Monash University. I was raised for most of my life in Melbourne and Carlo is an international student from Mexico. I have completed Uni and will be working full time next year and Carlo will be studying at Monash. We will be monitoring the rental property market, looking to move in early February and are searching for 2-4 other like minded people to rent a share house with. We are looking for a house with a backyard in the inner-eastern suburbs near a train station that will likely cost less than $200 each per week. Ideally we would like a house with the same amount of boys as girls and a minimum commitment of a few months. We are both very social, like to drink, love a laugh, are both into fitness and the outdoors, are big global travelers and enjoy a deep and meaningful chat. We're hoping to live with people that are keen to hang out and get to know each other, enjoy partying and are like minded. We both love music and I play in a band (warning: some band practices may be held but will be during reasonable hours). The occasional party will be hosted ;)
I am a full-time 23 year old living in Melbourne. My sexy girlfriend and I are looking for some relaxed, easy-going individuals to live in our apartment with us. We're both work focused but also love entertaining. We're looking for someone who's fun, cheeky and doesn't take themselves too seriously. Someone who lives a healthy lifestyle, can clean up after themselves but also likes to kick back, have a wine and enjoy themselves.
Hello :) We are two friends, professionals employed full time, currently living in Windsor but need to find a new place to live by the end of January 2017. We are fun, hard working, very clean and reliable. We pay bills on time and are very house proud. We need a 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom house preferably. Must have off street parking. That is non-negotiable. We come with perfect rental references :) We are happy to take over a lease or start up a new house with an awesome flatmate! If anyone would like to start up a new house get in touch! You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for friends rather than just flatmates. We love living together and would love to find another awesome friend to live with. I love to cook so ideally I'd like a big kitchen plus a garden for my herbs/plants :)
Hi there! My name is Bella, Im a 22 year old Nurse working full time at the Epworth hospital in Richmond. I work during the week at all different hours but on weekends I love socialising, playing guitar (I'm a singer/ songwriter), playing with my 2 beautiful little guinea pigs Bowie and Ziggy and relaxing. I'm clean and tidy, I love doing my own thing but also love being around friends, drinking wine and spending time in the sun. My lease ends on the 10th of December so would preferably like to move around the 13th-14th of December. I have a whole apartment filled with furniture but am able to cut it down to a room size if you're already furnished! Can't wait to hear from you! Bella (The stunning brunette is my mum, she unfortunately won't need a room).
Hello future housemate(s) We have made the move to Melbourne, leaving our little land of Perth behind. So super excited to get amongst everything that Melbourne has to offer. We are both huge foodies and love yoga (just finished our teacher training in Rishikesh, India). We both enjoy being active and healthy and being surrounded by like minded people. Both clean and respectful and are looking for a loving, nuturing space to call home 💓. We are bringing with us my miniature German schnauzer Angus (he's house trained, hypoallergenic non hair shedding dog), who's super friendly with people and other dogs. He doesn't need a lot, although a courtyard would be amazing. I walk him twice a day and he is extremely spoilt, and will not need any work (just love). Kelly: I am 28 years old, a full time scientist working in medical and tissue engineering, will endeavour to work as a yoga instructor as well as cafe work as I LOVE Melbourne cafe scene. I'm very clean and loving and respectful. I really enjoying cooking and food prep, I make everything from scratch. I hope you could
Hi I'm Nicole. I am currently living in St Kilda East with my current housebro (and best friend) who is unfortunately moving to Perth for business. As such I'm looking for a new place and/or flatmate(s) for around the end of December. I work full time (Mon-Fri) in administration at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and I love my job and the lovely people I work with. I'm a very chilled out, bubbly and clean person. I'm always up for a laugh and a beer. I enjoy travel, busting some crazy moves on the d-floor and going to gigs. I have previously lived in a few house shares in the UK (where I was for 3 years) and got to do a lot of travel around Europe. I don't smoke and have no pets. I currently have some furniture (however this can be easily put in storage if moving in to a house share) Get in touch if you'd like to chat further :)
I am a chilled, very relaxed guy.I am currently a student at victoria university and working part time. I love anything or anyone that makes me laugh therefore I believe friends is the best tv show ever made (yes, I said it!). I am tidy and would like to know my housemates. that said, I believe in respecting people's privacy. I like to have a drink once in a while, but I am in no way a party goer. I am also a huge fan of sports, soccer and rugby union/league to be specific. my favorite playlist on Spotify is Australias top 50 and I now realize that at this rate I might end up putting up my debit card password on here. so in conclusion, if you think I fit the bill, id be glad to hear from you.
Hi Everyone, We are two full time workers looking to rent out separate rooms. We have both shared before so are respectful of other housemates space and privacy. We are both clean, laid back, very easy going, and friendly :-D. We love to cook and share meals, but also like to get out and explore Melbourne eateries. Ps. We are not a couple just long term friends :-D
I am a really easy going guy, who likes to go out, meet new people and explore. I have traveled the world and have lived on my own before. So I have no problem paying bills, or keeping the place clean. I am from Toronto Canada and have decided to live in Australia for a year and then maybe travel a bit around Asia and New Zealand. I am into business and sports, I love hockey even though I hear there's not much of it in Australia, but also love tennis, basketball, baseball, and soccer. I like to try new things for fun, and will always say yes to going out and partying. I do enjoy though sometimes staying in and watching Netflix haha. Looking for a social roommate. I am a young professional and plan on working part time or full time during the week, while I am studying for my CFA exam. Looking for a furnished room with a bed and a place to put my clothes most importantly.
Just about to go into my final year of uni and looking for somewhere to live. Have a part-time job that provides steady work but looking for somewhere that's not too expensive. Am a fun, clean and easy person to live with
