Hi I’m Ellie, I’ve just moved back to Newcastle after living in melbounre for 2 years. I used flatmates.com in Melbourne and it was great! I have a cat called Carlos who is gorgeous and has lived with a dog before. I work fulltime in the industrial industry. I am currently just living at home but looking to move out. I’m not a smoker, nor do I do drugs, I do love to have a drink every so often tho. I love mostly staying in and watching movies or catching up with friends for dinner.
My name is Nick. I’m 24 years old from Newcastle seeking a room to rent. I’m friendly, tidy, quiet but social, and active. I am employed and work full time. I like travelling, fitness, music, laughing, the beach, graphic design, photography and much more
I grew up in Nelson Bay and currently live in the Newcastle area. I'm looking to move as my current place is being sold. I work 2 jobs as well as studying so I am a very busy person during the week. On weekends I spend my time either eating pizza and watching Netflix, going for a run or catching up with friends. I am very social, enjoy a drink every blue moon, love a chat and to get to know the people I live with. I have had my fair share of flatmates and share houses. I believe they run nice and smoothly when everyone is respectful of other peoples space, possessions and when all the roomies makes the effort to clean up after them selves.
An Architect by day, Illustrator by night - I draw lines and design spaces for a living. After having worked with a design studio in Malaysia for the past 4 years I decided to go back to school for a Masters program in Architecture. Currently hoping to start school at UoN from July. I keep to myself most of the time, yet always open to friendly chats and hangouts now and then. I tend to keep the space around me to extremely tidy and almost minimalist all the time, so thats exactly what you can expect from me. Love to explore new places, reading over coffee and laughing over silly conversations. Do get in touch if you have a suitable place and would like to get to know more about me or if you think we could find a nice place together.
Hey, I'm a Laboratory Technician working in a physical testing laboratory in Mayfield. I'm a pretty chill and relaxed person, working 5 to 6 days a week. I just like to enjoy my hobbies which is writing and strategy games. I don't really watch TV much or host parties, so I'm a fairly quiet guy. I own a rescued Greyhound named Sally who is a very shy, timid and quiet gal. I'm just looking for a chill, relaxed environment to live in and some good mates for housemates.
Matt 28yo Male plus Henry 3yo Australian Shepherd, Looking for like minded pet friendly.. Work full time as an uber driver at present so hours vary, I'm quiet and keep to myself but I'm also open to having games nights or a few quiet beers and a BBQ with the housemates :) Henry is house trained (outside dog though) and well behaved, We have been on our own since the start of the year so we are just looking to rebuild our life :)
Hey future flatmate! My name is Micky and I'm from Singapore. I'm a future student awaiting for my enrollment in the University of Newcastle mid-July and I'm looking for a shared house/flatmate preferably within 2km radius of the school! I'm an Architecture student and a low-key fashion enthusiast. I'm a wakeboarder and a dancer too!! I'm open to new activities and events so i don't mind the occasional night out or even a random hike anywhere or even surfing sessions as long as we have a positive bond!
Very easy going. Busy working part-time and studying at UON. Third year studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours. Like to go out for dinner, have a drink and socialise on the weekends. Also like some down time and personal space. Extremely respectful, neat and tidy. I enjoy going for walks and hikes, working out at the gym, health and fitness, spiritual person (don't mind a bit of yoga and meditation every now and then), cooking (vegetarian and vegan), reading, and enjoy doing art in my down time. Live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle but also like to indulge now and then. Would love to meet some like minded people who I can potentially become great friends with! Much prefer a community and friendly home rather then a share house! Currently living on the Central Coast and looking to move closer to uni for the next few years and for a nice change. Unfortunately unable to move out until the start of August as I am having a surgery at the beginning of July and will need to be at home to recover for the month before I am able to move out.
Hey! We are both currently studying to become teachers and both work part time/casual. We are into anything outdoors, beach, walks/adventures but are also happy to lounge around the house on the odd lazy/rainy day and play some board games or settle in for some A+ Netflix show with some drinks and snacks. Neat and tidy and respect others privacy as we do enjoy ours. We are keen to find someone/a couple to find a space with so send me a message if this sounds like it suits what you are after :).
Hiya :-) I am a psychology student (no I cannot read minds) and I believe I can be someone great to live with. I consider myself an easy-going person who loves getting to know people and having a fun time, no matter the activity. I also enjoy music, cooking, the outdoors, painting and a good old chin wag. Living with people can be a tough adjustment so I fully promote giving people personal space but also working towards making a house a home.
Myself and my best mate both looking for a place (Not a Couple) Easy going and love to help out as much as We can. Both are handy men and we both have pretty busy lifestyles with education and full time work.

Hi! I'm a 29 year old phd student from Romania. I' ve been in Australia for a little less than two years. I'm warm and social (except in the morning before i have my coffee). I love having chats on any topic (philosophy, trump, the best dishwasher soap... you name it), being goofy, occasional dinner parties, going to the beach, dancing salsa, traveling and of course banter. We can't be friends unless we can call each other c*** and a**hole. I'm a huge movie buff and a pretentious jazz listener. On top of my research scholarship, I work as an academic staff member at UoN and a few other small part time jobs. I'm looking for a nice place relatively close to the university of newcastle, callaghan campus, to share with a few fun, social, clean people. Hope to meet you soon! Thanks Cheers Andrei
Hi I am a third year physio student in Newcastle University. I am pretty busy during semester but like to have a small chat and easy going.
Hello! I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Newcastle, working at HMRI/John Hunter Hospital. I love to cook and appreciate cleanliness. I'm currently living at home and looking to move out. Ideally, it would be in a house of people with whom i could be friends. I will be in Newcastle for the foreseeable future so longer term stays would be preferable. I have a scholarship until march 2019 so reasonable rent isn't an issue. I'm looking to spend $200pw (including bills and internet) absolute maximum and preferably with a private bathroom but not a necessity. I have a car so somewhere to park would also be ideal. I'm not a party person, a chill night with wine, cheese and netflix suits me fine and I'm happy to keep to myself. I'm a feminist and environmentally conscious so I would prefer to live with similarlly minded people. If I sound like someone you might want to rent a room to (or you have a property in which I could live), please message me!
A little bit about me; for starters I'm a student currently studying Mental Health with hopes of becoming a Youth Worker with Headspace and Reconnect. I have a background in aviation, planning and logistics though wanted a change. In my down time I teach fire and performance arts or binge an anime series. I tend to keep to myself though am still social and polite. I have all my own cutlery in an effort to keep organized and clean. The ideal property for me would be one that is open to LGBT+, communicative and clean with internet as my studies are entirely online. My move date is flexible and I'm always open to do an inspection.
I’d like to say I’m a pretty good cook. I keep to myself, but also love a good conversation and casual get togethers. I’m a very clean person, both with hygiene and cleaning up after myself. Especially in the kitchen, I love a tidy kitchen😂 I like to cook, chill out to music, going to the beach, and trying new things. I’m moving from around five hours away, and will most likely have a part time job or two while attending uni full time. Just a typical soon to be uni student looking for a place to live.
