Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Finding a new housie to share a wine or laugh with would be a bonus! I work hard and in my spare time I enjoy coffee with friends, finding a new cafe try and anything outdoors. Ideally looking to find someone to start a sharehouse or an unfurnished room! Looking forward to meeting you :) Looking to move Dec 16- Jan 17
Hi, my name is Caitlyn and I have hopefully just completed my Food Science degree (exam results pending) and working a few jobs. I'm looking to move out of home somewhere closer to the city, potentially in the inner Western suburbs or around Richmond, as I mainly work over that side of town. Close to a train station with a car space is ideal. I believe I'm a rather clean and neat person and a pretty good cook, as well as being good with pets if you have one. I'm up for socialising with my new roommates, and hopefully introducing you to some of my friends too, but I'm also into keeping our own personal space when needed. Hope to hear from you soon :) ps. I have a pet ferret that is not used to living in a cage, she is well trained and only nibbles when playing
Hi all, I've been based in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast while studying a cert 4 in Interior Design and am now heading to Melbourne to complete a dual diploma at RMIT in Interior and Building Design. I'll be working as much as possible over the summer and I'm looking for somewhere that has people for me to learn about the area from and to have a conversation, maybe dinner and/or drinks but where everyone also knows and respects others space. And, if it's relevant, i'm originally from the UK and 33 y/o - although i'm not concerned with age - some of the most significant conversations i've had have been with people a decade younger and older than me. In my down time I injoy photography, painting, making jewellery, reading, dabbling in yoga and getting out to the beach/forest in equal measures. And of course meeting people, sharing stories & conversations and smiles & laughter. I look forward to hearing from you
I'm Brittany, I have 1 year old maremma sheepdog called pancakes. Searching for the perfect housemate who doesn't mind a large dog. I love adventure and the outdoors and am into cooking and cleaning, also love to excercise and have a good laugh. Currently working on hospitality but looking at joining the police force within 6 months
hello future roomies I'm currently on the hunt for a new roommate, a run down on the details so the place I'm currently at lease is slowly creeping up, so, therefore, I'm searching for a new place and with that, I'm searching for a new roomie. my ideal place is in the western suburbs somewhere between Newport to Seddon this gives you the closeness to the beaches of Williamstown, the city and city views of Melbourne and a great shopping day at Highpoint. about me I'm originally from NSW who moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for university where I study Entertainment management full time, alongside working full time in a restaurant in Williamstown (meaning there will always be Italian food in the fridge for you to eat), an advantage of this is you pretty much get the house to yourself 24/7, I'm tidy and respectful, but don't mind having that social aspect and wouldn't mind making a friend out of a roommate about you my preference on you would be tidy though I don't care about your room (that's your space), be able to pay rent and bills on time, wouldn't mind a chat or drink every know and then if you're interested in getting a share house please don't hesitate to give me a message
Hi there, future new housemate! I'm Emma, 29, a non-smoker, and am not currently in a relationship. I'm writing a thesis (psychology) and work 3-4 days/week in research in psychopharmacology - it's a fantastic job, I love it. I enjoy listening to podcasts and music, reading, going for long walks, gardening, playing video games & boardgames, cycling, watching public lectures, stand-up & storytelling events, going to produce markets, drinking heaps of tea and the occasional gin. I go to bed pretty early and wake up early (though I'm quiet and respectful around the house in the mornings). I like to live in a sustainable way and minimise waste (packaging, water, electricity, gas). Ideally, I'd love to live somewhere where I can have a veggie garden and some chickens. I clean my dishes while cooking, and try to keep common areas clean. I'm friendly and like a house with a communal, communicative and caring environment, but am definitely not socially overbearing and like doing my own thing. Looking for somewhere long-term with like-minded people. Hope to hear from you soon!
My name is Patty, I'm 23, I am a full-time student studying business and keep really busy with uni. I am a pretty independent person, down to chill and have a chat over weekends but during the week I keep to myself and focus on my uni and work. I love to do some cooking or baking on weekends with some wine or a cider to chill. Not into big house parties unless its a rare and special occasion. I like to live in a clean house as I feel it creates a happy place to come home to and its soothing to the mind so I like to keep things neat and tidy! I'm half Australian and half Balinese so I've grown up all around the Asia and I am currently in my second year living and studying in Australia and I absolutely love it. Don't have any pets, kids and am non-smoker. You can trust me to keep to myself for most of the time, always happy to have a chat and appreciate and respect personal space. Happy to live with like-minded people. Cheers :)
Things that excite my soul: nature, unique and fascinating humans, sharing stories over a drink, cooking, cleaning, bubble baths, dancing, reading, red wine, researching, adventures, the beach, Italian food.❤️I'm a pretty calm, relaxed & easy to get along with 22 year old :-)
In all honesty I consider myself hard working and mature individual and in the right time will purchase home of my own until then would like to stay in available room. Respectful. Culturally aware. Easy going friendly kind of person! Oh and I will be working 12hr shifts so not the type person to lay around the house all day.
Hey everyone! My name is Maddie, I'm 20 years old and I just moved here from New Zealand. I'm super friendly and chilled out. I'm currently looking for retail and barista jobs but I have savings so I can pay rent and bond etc! I'm vegan but I promise I won't try to turn you, and I'll make you bomb stir fry and curries etc! I enjoy the occasional night out with friends but I'm mostly a night in with Netflix type of girl. Contact me if you'd like to know more about me.
I'm 32 years old, work full time in hotel management but luckily don't have to work the crazy hospitality hours. I like to cook, read, drink coffee, dance and get out hiking or running as well as anything that means I get to be in the sunshine. I'm equally happy on my own as in the company of others so I enjoy a house dynamic that's both social (not after party to 5am social though) but also relaxed and do your own thing. I'm not a neat freak but I respect shared spaces and always clean up after myself. I have a small dog named Pip. She's 4 years old, completely house trained, sleeps all day, loves cats, long walks, tennis balls and ear scratches. She only needs a small yard with a bit of sunshine but she does spend time inside when I'm home. Ideally I'm looking for a place with 1-2 housemates, for a minimum of 6 months. My move dates are flexible but preferably it would be great to find something by the end of November
Hey my name is Jamie, currently studying tourism full time and working as a barista weekends. I am neat, friendly, quiet and vegetarian. In my spare time I like to read, go to the gym, watch sci fi and anime and go out for brunch :) I am looking for like-minded housemates who like to spend time with each other like a little family. Being clean is a must 🙂
I currently work in HR in the South east. I also volunteer in the city as a crisis counsellor so I keep pretty busy! I studied Psychology for a while, and I'm still thinking of continuing that in order to forge a new career path. I am currently looking for a longer-term home - I would love to be a part of a social household to satisfy my enegertic introverted personality, but not a "party house" (I'm a little old for that!) But I'd love to be able to have a drink and hang out with housemates sometimes.
I am a happy bubbly outgoing person who is always up for a chat and a beer or wine. I enjoy cooking so I'm happy to cook household meals if needed. I always work in hospitality so most of the time I will either be at work or sleeping or exploring all melbourne has to offer. I am neat and tidy and incredibly easy to get along with :)
Hi! We're two friends looking for a place in the inner west (two seperate rooms). I'm Oliver, a 24y/o PhD student at the University of Melbourne. I'm a pretty laid back, friendly guy and always up for a chat and a beer. Jenny is also 24 and at the University of Melbourne studying medicine. She's a wine and cheese enthusiast, still believes her hogwarts letter is on the way and can knit a mean beanie. We are a friendly bunch, ideally we would be looking to team up with someone who is social but able to be independent day to day.
Easygoing professional, just moved to the area for a job as a video editor working on a wildlife doco tv series. My partner Chris will be joining me in November. We're keen to live in a chilled but fun house and grow a vege garden! :)
I'm a genuine and friendly guy, up for a travel adventure and will always bring a good time along with me.. easy going I work long hours, go to the gym. I usually have dinner out with a friend at least once during the week and enjoy heading to the movies or a quiet drink or two on the weekend but also enjoy being a homebody and spending time at home.
I'm a 24 year old psychologist who works in the city. I grew up in Queensland and have been in Melbourne almost 3 years now. My current housemate and friend is moving in with her boyfriend. I'm very tidy and clean and love mojitos!
28 Single Non smoker 7 months pregnant Looking to move out of home for the first time on my own. I need somewhere safe/secure for when bub arrives Someone that has a property where a new born will not be an issue Close to transport as I do not drive And prefer to live on my own Granny flat with kitchen facility would be ideal but I am open to other offers. Do not want a room in a shared house (no negotiation) I want my complete own space with my baby. Do not want a place where there are pets (no negotiation) I need to be in the West/North West Suburbs of Melbourne so please don't offer if the property is not within that region of Melb. Thank you.
I'm looking for someone who would like to move out with my dog Ruby and I between now and the end of the year. So far I keep to myself in my room due to a lack of a space and people to socialise with. This would probably different in the right place and with the right people. I like to cook. And willing to share a meal or two. While I hate washing up its usually done within two days. I just like a clean sink first. Easy to live with don't care about much. Just don't pee in the backyard. Ruby is a fur monster so if you mind pet hair you won't be happy. She's loveable and friendly. Just keep her away from rubbish, waterbottles, toothbrushes & human food. It's like living with one big furry toddler. Backyard big enough for Ruby. No more than 2 other people.
Easy going tradie in Construction, my work take me around the world a few times a year and has had me living all over Australia also.. My funny friendly likeable personality always makes for good banter, I find meeting and getting along with new people easy..
Hi Guys! My name is Emily, I am 23 and I work in recruitment. I am a bit of foodie, love to get in the kitchen or try out new places. Occasionally I might go home to see my family and friends in Ocean Grove on the weekends, otherwise I just chill out and catch up with friends for Brunch. I am always smiling and happy, love meeting new people and having a laugh.
I'm Zach, an easy-going 26 year old single male. I work full-time as a digital consultant in the CBD. When I'm not at work I tend to kick back at home with some music, television or video games. I enjoy socialising on weekends, but tend to keep things relatively low-key throughout the week.
Hi potential housemate, my names Adam I've moved here permanently from New Zealand, and i work full time in the city. I'm a friendly, respectful and social person but also like relaxing at home. I enjoy music, movies, hanging with friends, nature and animals (i'm also vegetarian). I'm currently living in Essendon but my lease is about to run out so I'm looking for a private room, ideally with an en suite bathroom but willing to share. Flick me a message if you have any questions, I look forward to hearing from you.
I am a Singaporean working as an editor in educational publishing. I like listening to music, reading books, blogging, hiking and cycling. I have visited several countries such as Australia, United Kingdom, Cambodia, Malaysia, Israel and Canada. At the moment, I am looking for a quiet private room in Melbourne on behalf of someone for a short-to-mid-term stay (flexible duration from 1 week up to about 2 months, depending on the suitability of location and so on).
Looking to team up with someone also looking to live in Melbourne's inner West. I am a friendly, easy going 33 year old looking for another person to share with. Keep common areas tidy, love interacting with people, yet also needs some down time. I am a Christian, so prefer Christian housemate. I have most furniture (fridge, washing machine, couches, TV, kitchen stuff) for a unit so happy for someone who only has stuff for their room. Look for units between $250-$300 per week, so would be appprox an affordable $150 per week. I am flexible, so please contact me to chat further: )

Im Drew, 30 and I work for a streetwear company in Port Melbourne. I work Monday-Friday and have weekends to either enjoy a couple of drinks, road trips and heading to a gig. I totally understand if you want to chill in your room as I do the same from time to time but can also be very social. I'm extremely clean and take great care of my items. I own everything in my current house so that makes things much easier! Not really look but will definitely have a chat if something cool comes up!
Hello, We are a couple studying Law & Biomedicine, we are originally from country NSW and have lived in the Footscray area for 2 years now. We both have part-time jobs in Retail & Personal Training. We are very committed to our studies We are both very friendly and respectful people, who are more than happy to socialise and share a meal with housemates. Although, we do have busy schedules which keeps us out of the house and quiet whilst studying. We are also extremely clean and courteous of other peoples space/noise. We are very outdoorsy people who enjoy going for walks, runs and hikes when we have free time. Overall, we are simple, relaxed, down to earth people. Looking for a share house in a relaxed, clean home. We are also interested in organising a 'team-up' with the right people. If you're interested just message us!
Hey! I'm from sunny Colorado, and just moved to Melbourne in to study graphic design. I'm a marketing gal by day, avid suds/happy hour seeker by night. If you enjoy a good coffee, we are already good friends. Super easy going, kind of funny, and excited to meet people and get to know the city. Oh, and I'm a dancer, and can certainly teach you how to Dougie.
I hope to find a place where the cost of bills, internet and rent total less than $250 a week. I'm not expecting to have to move till late October/November. I have lots of kitchen tools etc, a microwave and my own bedroom furniture which I want to keep, so no furnished room offers please. I do not wish to share a room with anyone either, sorry. I'm neat and prefer a clean house. Don't have a car, so would prefer to be close to a train stop. And I would like the use of a bath and washing machine. I'm very interested in crafts, and need space for both my study and this interest - promise not to spread myself around. I love to garden, bake, ride my bike and enjoy a glass of red from time to time. I am friendly, caring, respectful of others and their space and happy to make arrangements about food, chores etc. I love dogs, hate cats and won't stand reptiles. Happy to live with children. Next year is my last year of study for my P-12 teaching degree. I study at Vic Uni and can be at St Albans one day and Footscray the next. I also work full time in Melbourne's CBD. Happy to answer any questions.
I would be a suitable housemate as I am a friendly and considerate person. I love having a clean home and always contribute to tidying the house. I work full time and do Pilates during the week. I also enjoy cooking and the occasional glass of red :)
I'm a relatively new person to Melbourne as I hail from WA originally. I've got a part time job with Coles to at least have money coming through the door, but ultimately I would like to start my career in IT as I've graduated from uni - back in WA - not too long ago and want to see something come out for it. I'm a very friendly guy, and believe that making a house a sanctuary is important for our health. Speaking of which I'm very dedicated to, going to the gym and eating right, I don't smoke, social drinker and I'm very open about mental health. I am a bit of a night owl but I understand fully well how important it is to have silence in the night to sleep. I am looking for a large room to fit a double bed, bedside tables, computer station, and preferrable BIR. Looking for a room that has both heating and cooling facilities available
I've moved from Sydney two year ago and I miss living with a cat. Looking to live with fellow feline lovers
We're fun, easy-going, social (with respect to boundaries), clean, hard working, and respectful guys. And did I mention that we're Canadian?! We love all sports and love to consume knowledge all kinds, so we're just as likely to be reading books as we are to watching something on Netflix or going out for a night on the town. We'll be away from home (Vancouver) for about a year while we explore Australia on our working holiday visas. Not much else to say, really. Hope to see you or hear from you soon!
Sociable, respectable tidy clean pays rent on time. Looking for a place that is walking distance to train station or easy public transprt to CBD
