Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home, and sometimes do casual reception work in South Melbourne. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. Preference 1: my own studio unit/flat Preference 2: share a house with ONE other person I need two rooms, preferably with my own bathroom Based in the inner Western suburbs. Prefer staying in West Footscray/Yarraville/Kingsville. Would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington. Parking should be available, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient (I never steal food. I provide for myself) - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious. I never eat meat at home. - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go Personality: Quiet, but can be talkative when it comes to certain subjects. Mentally strong, smart. I have a sense of humour Currently renting a shoebox two-bedroom flat in West Footscray. The landlord has no problem with me and was happy to offer another 12-month lease, but I am taking my Body Corp to court for something. I cannot stay here for much longer. Besides, climbing lots of stairs is bad for my sensitive back. Would be nice to move into ground-floor accommodation. I think we would get along if you are: - someone who likes to sleep by midnight - not an alcoholic (my definition is...you drink every day). I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working, between the age of 28 to 45) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I can be civil and friendly, but am not obliged to be your psychologist) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting at me; please approach in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" I did public speaking for four years and I am passionate about communication. Texting and emailing can often lead to misunderstandings. If the issue is major, speak to me in person or call. Choose the right communication mode! These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas, water, electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
Hi there! I'm Jess, I'm 23 years old. I work full-time in the sports industry in marketing and communications in South Melbourne and moonlight as a swimming instructor on the side. I play roller derby in my free time. I'm always up for brunch, good coffee and a chat. Consider myself to be fairly well house trained, clean and considerate.
I am in my 20's currently working as a barista at a local cafe. I'm a creative person who likes to make clothes in her spare time and binge watch Netflix occasionally. I've been living in Melbourne for over 10 years and I am currently looking for a room in a house with people that are as easy going as I am and share an interest in all things food related.
I'm quiet, respectable, and like to keep clean (as much as possible). Work full time so there's no worry about financial stability. Looking for more friends, and open-minded! If there's anything further you want to know, I'm an open book!
I'm a first year student, but I don't do much in the way of partying, I don't smoke, to be honest I really don't do a whole heap except go to Uni, go to work, Volunteer on Sundays and chill in my room. I've been living out of home since Jan, so I like to think I've got the hang of it and I'm always down to chill.
During the weekdays I'll be at Victoria University, footscray park, for my internship. In the evenings and in the weekend I'm totally in for some socialising but I'm also fine on my own and I'm looking for a place that will give me some privacy. I'm down to earth, easy going and always try to keep everything clean. Besides that I'm always down for a drink and a laugh.
I am a creative female seeking a home with like minded people. I have a stable income, clean up after myself and am responsible. I am currently attending a ceramics course. My hobbies are gardening and drawing. I am single and don't have pets. I am social but not a party animal. I enjoy watching netflix and sharing meals with my housemates. Open to team ups I have a rental history and references.
My name is Eleri, I'm a 23 year old female from Wales here on a student visa. I'm studying counselling and mental health 2 days a week and work in hospitality 3 days a week. Both my school and work are in the CBD so I need to live somewhere nearby, preferably near a train station. My budget is $180 p/w with bills included and furnished ideally. I am looking for a home not just a room to live in and some housemates I can enjoy a glass of red with (or 5). I appreciate a nice clean living environment but I'm not a full on clean freak, I'm easy going and can get along with pretty much anyone. I spend most of my time in the CBD (studying/working/with friends) but when I'm home I enjoy cooking and reading and am partial to the odd netflix binge. I'm hoping to move in the next month, if I sound like the kind of housemate you are looking for you can send me your listings through here and I'll get in touch, thanks!
My name is Tomas, I'm a 24 year old arts student at Victoria University, relatively new to life in the West. I'm very laid back and easy going, and respectful of those I share my space with; especially as a student, I know how stressful it can sometimes be living with others, and the need to keep things neat and tidy. I usually keep to myself when at home, but I'm also a very social person, and always down for hangouts and chill sessions. I love all the good things in life like coffee and cooking, biking, hiking, reading and watching movies, and playing video games.
I am an easy going and down to earth kind of chick - I work full time with a range of different hours per rostered month. I am looking for somewhere closer to Melbourne City as I work in Southbank and would really like to cut my commute down from 50 minutes each way! I love music, animals and enjoy a lot of quiet time (just time to myself!) and also going out with my friends, as my job is full on. I have two rabbits who both have their own hutches and would need some type of backyard (if possible) One of my rabbits is indoors but she is small and quite social and relaxed. I'm looking for like-minded adults who don't mind not seeing their flatmate constantly and who is able to accept two beautiful bunnies (they really are quite sweet and you would not need to care for them in any way at all.) I love to cook, bake, chill with a drink or two and love a good conversation. I'm quite flexible when it comes to arrangements and have my own furniture for a bedroom. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send a message. Hope to hear from you soon!
We've been living in Melbourne around 2 years, we both work during the days and also we have some shifts during the night on weekends (around 2 in a month). We are easy going, tidy and we are already used to live in a house share, we like to enjoy the life with our friends or just have a chilling day at home.
I'm interested in being your Housemate! I'm a 26yr old female who works full time as a Sales Executive for a paint company. I currently live in Moonee Ponds. I'm really low key, friendly and easy going- just as happy to curl up on the couch with a tea and Netflix as going to a wine bar for a drink. I'm always up for a chat but fully respect personal space and time. I'm good at keeping shared spaces tidy (I can get a bit messy in my own room though), I also do my dishes in a timely manner. I have an 18mth old cat who is very sweet, friendly and curious (whilst also enjoying about 20hrs a day of sleep), however if that's an issue she has a very welcoming spot at my parents place. I'm looking for a short term lease (about 3 - 4 months, or potentially up to 6) whilst I look for my own property to buy. Please feel free to ask any and all questions :)
I'm a Norwegian who's been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. Back home I used to work as a school psychologist, but left my life there to be a stay-home-dad in sunny and warm Australia. Had a few amazing years here with my two kids and a lot of gardening! The last year I have been doing some casual truck driving in and around Melbourne, mostly just to get back into "real life" I guess. Being in the midst of separating from my wife, there's a lot of loose threads at the moment. I'm looking to buy something in the next 6-12 months, but need to get a more stable working-arrangement going first. Having said that, my finances are decent and I always pay my rent on time :) As a person I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I'm into gardening, cycling, movies, books and the occasional bottle of red wine. I also plan on taking up rock climbing and yoga in near future. I like the company of others and wouldn't mind sharing dinners every now and then, but I do appreciate my own private time. My two kids (4 yr old daughter & 5 yr old son) will live their mum in Yarraville until I get set up properly, but obviously will come by every now and then to hang around a bit and maybe spend a few nights if I can fit them... You'll love them! Thanks for reading!
Hi, I'm a very easy going housemate looking for a room in a nice house or someone wanting to team up to get a nice house to share. I'm Jim and very active through the week and weekends and have a regular schedule of cycling, swimming, the gym and indoor rock climbing. I work hard and exercise hard so whilst at home I enjoy cooking, relaxing, a wine or beer, a bbq, some TV and the occasional binge of a series on Netflix etc.. My passion is travel whether it's around the world or more recently around Australia and different parts of Victoria. I have a touring motorbike which sees only occasional use for bigger trips and a 20 something year old 4x4 which I take on seasonally frequent camp trips! During winter I tend to go to the Alpine area for snowboarding and try and get away somewhere warmer. I'm tidy and clean throughout the house. I really respect peoples privacy and downtime but enjoy the company of having someone else in the house to chat with, share a meal or a drink with. I'm looking for a house with the following criteria. 1. Must have a garage, preferably a double garage as I have loads of sports and outdoor gear. 2. Preferably within 10mins walk of Newport/Spotswood/Yarraville/Williamstown etc train station. 3. I'd prefer a house that's not too crowded, i'm happy to pay a little extra for some space, comfort and a bit of luxury. So a share with 1 other, 2 max is fine. I work as a process manager in I.T. in the city. I'm originally from the UK and have been here for over 3 years now but intend staying here and obtaining my citizenship. I'm happy to consider teaming up with someone in a similar circumstance to get the right property and looking to move before the end of June. I'm ok to do a shorter rent period instead of committing to a full year with a stranger, lets see how it goes. Please no smokers/vape etc. Also no cat owners (allergic)
I'm a full time student studying social work. Im a pretty low key and quiet, very respectful of personal space and am very independent. Always pay my bills on time I understand the responsibilities of cleanliness and household duties.. Pretty uncomplicated!
I'm a quiet, respectful young professional looking for a place to call home. I'm house proud so prioritise keeping my space clean and organisied, and would love to have a friendly relationship with housemates. ** please note my moving date is 7th if July, and I do not have a car so need to be close to a train station**
