Hey, I'm a designer working in Footscray. I'm 33 and I run my own business and have flexible working hours. I play basketball, love music, hikes, camping and surfing. Looking for somewhere relaxed to basically lay my head down for the night, but also with people who are friendly and interesting. Beer and wine are important facets of life. I don't smoke. I'm generally clean and respectful in any common area, and I love to cook, so don't mind the odd group meals with lots of love poured in. I'm not pedantic and I love animals. If you have pets, we'll be friends instantly. Hope that's enough, need any more info I'll be happy to meet for a catchup or beer.
I am looking for a place to live. I am super nice and would love to share a space with a super fun outgoing people xx i can cook and like a clean living space x i do like to socialise and am active x have a full time nannying job and I'm never late with bills

About me: I am a 27 year old single male who works full time, but generally leads a pretty relaxed lifestyle. Not a big partier though I am social. I work for the NBN as a Network Engineer and I used to work for Optus, as you can guess I am a tech head, so i work really well as a live in solution for all of your computer/ internet/ mobile phone related issues. Must mentions: -Im clean, tidy and pretty quiet -i tend to cook at home -i occasionally work overnight -due to my job, i sometimes do work from home -im looking for a place with high speed NBN/Cable internet
Hi folks :) I'm Avi, a 26 year old student and bartender. I'm friendly, get along with just about anyone, plenty of sharehouse experience, and always up to meet new people. Don't mind having a coupla on the weekend, or going to discover new spots in this wonderful city, but equally happy to kick back at home as well. Reading, tv shows, riding my bike, good conversations, food, discovering new places, all get thumbs up.
I am 27 and work as an office manager for a Screw Pile (foundations) Company in Werribee. Work your typical office hours Monday to Friday. From NZ originally but been living in Straya for 2 years now, moving from the Goldie to Melbourne back in June. Have resided in Altona Meadows since, but wanting to move closer to the city (Yarraville in particular). My Dad is Spotswood born and bred, (so technically I’m half Aussie) he made the move to NZ with my mum nearly 30 years ago. I have plenty of family in the inner west. I love a good Netflix binge, and the odd drink, however the partying ways of my youth have subsided immensely, with early weekend starts of a nice coffee and getting outdoors/visiting friends/family much preferred, over hungover couch days (although this does happen from time to time). I am not the greatest cook but give it a good go anyway (make a banging egg & bacon pie), maybe you guys could teach me a thing or two. I love Basketball, played a lot when I was younger, until a torn ACL sidelined me, and hasn’t been the same since, even after reconstructive surgery, but am always keen to shoot hoops. In the last year have started to enjoy hiking Aussie bush, with visits to the You Yang’s couple times a month (although snakes terrify me and lizards give me a hell of a fright). Being a kiwi I do love rugby union, but growing up with a mad Saint Kilda supporter, Aussie Rules has been drilled into me, and love going to Etihad to watch the Saint’s. Flick us a message with any questions. Cheers, Nat
Future flatmate/s! I’m Sam: a laid-back, awkwardly funny, kind and respectful young professional from Brisbane, Queensland. I have recently scored a dream job in your great city of Melbourne and will be re-locating at the end of January. For work, I am Merchandise/Marketing professional in retail and specifically pet care. It’s a little complicated to explain so I won’t bore you with the details (for now). I love living an active routine filled with things such as touch footy, gym and powerlifting during the week; to remind me that life isn’t all about work. For fun on the weekends, I enjoy catching up with mates, trying and seeing new things and going to sporting events. To chill, playing guitar is my thing – and I cannot say no to the odd Netflix session and a few whiskeys! I am seeking a medium-large sized room (preferably furnished) and access to parking so I can settle in quickly. I am looking for housemates who respect privacy and cleanliness, but who are also relaxed and aren’t shy of a laugh and a beer/wine every so often, to catch up on life’s dramas! I look forward to meeting you somewhere down the line… Cheers, Sam :)
Hey Everyone, I'm currently in the process of switching university, so looking for some place to stay when the semester starts. Will be going to VU, so somewhere close by (but not Footscray) would be great. I'm 19, have lived in my own unit for a year, so have a rental history. More on the quiet side then the outgoing, but do enjoy chilling with my friends and visiting my family. I don't smoke, and am a very tidy individual. Hoping to room with people around my age or if your interested starting a new share house. There's quite a few nice ones available!
Me (Marcelle), I'm a 24 year old fine art student at RMIT majoring in photography and will be going into 3rd year. Also work as a bartender in Footscray . Love to have a drink with some mates and nice chats, we are both pretty laid back. All about house family vibes and getting on. Love to cook too. Not very good at writing about myself let alone selling myself haha. Anika (my girlfriend), 22, German, is a musician, just graduated from uni in London and works for Milk! Records. Loves to travel and chill out and tell really lame dad jokes.
Newly fledged Nurse looking to move into Footscray & surrounds for work (6 months +), Ideally would love a relaxed home with a lot of natural light. Appreciative of friendly & respectful housemates, i'm easy to get along with, clean and sociable. Would love to find a great bunch of mates along the way rather than a co-existence. Also love my down time, which will be spent exploring the outdoors (beach, slopes, national parks), pole dancing (for fitness), brunching and plenty of snoozing etc. Non-smoking home seeker.
Hi! We are Leon (30) and Monika (28) and a couple of 2 years. I am Australian and Monika is Polish (fluent in English and French as well). We have previously lived in Sweden, Scotland, France and Poland respectively and now we'll be in Australia for the forseeable future. I have returned to Oz after 3 years away and Monika is experiencing Melbourne for the first time. I'm working part-time and also studying. Monika has her Masters in Sociology & Film Studies and works part-time. We love movies, gigs and the beach. Naturally travelling is very important to us too. I skew closer to more of a bookworm and Monika is all about culture (events, festivals) and nature (again, beach!). I like to think we are easygoing people with a broad range of interests. We've previously both lived alone, together, in sharehouses and student dormitories so we know the deal of different living situations and how to adjust to make it enjoyable for everyone. Kindness and respect above all are qualities important to us. As well as a balance of socialising and privacy, friendliness, cleanliness and a sense of humour! :)

Can keep the appliances in storage if needed however
Hi potential housemate, I'm currently looking to team-up with someone to start up a new share home in the Yarraville/Williamsown/Seddon/Newport area as my current lease runs out on the 14th Feburary. The House Ideal house would be walking distance to one of the stations along the Williamstown/Werribee train lines. Off street parking. Me Originally from rural Vic, I am a 25 year old qualified Carpenter who is currently half way through full time Building and Construction Management degree at Vic Uni in Footscray. I am a clean up as I go type of person who does enjoy an uncluttered shared space. While I dont smoke, I don't have an issue with an outside smoker. Interests include fitness, sport, good food and the occasional social drink after a busy week. I know this is a question you might have; I dont do drugs! You Able to work in partnership to find suitable lease house (and any extra suitable housemates). Pefer no pets to increase lease options.
Hi I'm Liyasha and I'm 27 year old and currently working full-time. I'll be working at Werribee Mercy in the Maternity Unit from February so I'm looking to move from Kew to the west side of the city. In terms of what I'm like, I'm friendly, relaxed, respect other people's spaces and keep things clean. I've been living in sharehouses since I was 18 so I'm used to adjusting to different dynamics in different households. I enjoy eating out and going to cool new bars and cafes so I prefer to be closer to the city, so I'm looking for places in the inner west with decent access to public transport and the freeway. In my spare time I like to cook, keep fit, catch up with friends, travel, go to concerts and hang out with my boyfriend. I do tend to work long hours (around 100hrs/fortnight) so I do like to unwind at home so I'm looking for a chilled place where I can relax. I'm looking for someone/people who have a similar mindset to me and around the same age :)
aside from being a professional baker and pastry cook. i love food. i like to explore and go on adventures. i'm pretty chilled and friendly guy who likes to chat have a beer or two and also understand if you need space and privacy, i have been well trained by my parents to be independent look after myself. 😂 plus you get to enjoy my funny jokes every now and then.

Hi! i'm looking for place to with 1-2 awesome roomies in either yarraville or seddon, (no more than 8mins walk to a station), preferably a house, (not a tiny bedroom) with a little garden to call home. I'm easy going, mature, quiet (most of the time), open minded, and independent. Currently working part time, and running my own small business. I'm pretty much a junk food vegan who wont try to convert you or sit there and judge your food choices. Love to travel and will try my best to take overseas adventures any chance I get (and my work & bank account will allow). Love memes! Happy to be a part of the house family but also enjoy my solitude and quietness, looking for others who do and feel the same. Love cleanliness in shared spaces! Don't mind a place with animal roomates. Looking to move in early Feb. Please contact me to see if we'd make a nice fit. Cheers Lillian
Hi everyone. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A HOUSE. This is a warning for young women who are looking for a place in Seddon/Kingsville/Yarraville/West Footscray. I just moved out of a room in 20 Williamstown Road, Kingsville. It is a green house second from the corner of Williamstown Road and Geelong Street. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS HOUSE. The main tenant is a messy, cheap alcoholic called PARMVEER SINGH. He is sleeping with the Brazilian girl who sleeps in one of the rooms. I stayed there for a month and a half (with a 3 week holiday break) and it was terrible. 1. There is an ant problem in the kitchen 2. The walls are extremely thin 3. Parm and Aliniyah keep the living room messy, leftover snacks and chips packets left open for days. They only clean it occasionally - I'm sure they'll spruce it up for an inspection, but after you move in, hey... 4. Parmveer treats the mantelpiece like a second bedside table 5. Parmveer brings his Indian guy friends over at 3am in the morning, probably about twice a week. They will drink, shout, play loud music and wake you up. This is a junkie alcoholic punk 6. On 20th Dec, he gave me notice via text. I asked him for a month to find a place. I ended up moving by 9th Jan. Did he give me my 500 dollars in bond back? No. His excuse? "You said you would stay until 20th Jan, so I'm minusing 300 dollars to pay for rent until then." Do you know why he did that? Because 1. He doesn't have the money 2. He needs to pay for his drink-driving fine from last year (see letter on fridge) 7. The Brazilian girl, Aliniyah, does not contribute to household items. She doesn't buy cleaner/toilet roll, has no cutlery or crockery of her own. She's a LEECH. Luckily she has found a loser like Parm, which means... 8. They cuddle on the couch every night and go out for Sunday breakfasts. Two effects: you'll feel like the third wheel, it's awkward as hell, AND they will gang up on you when it comes to household issues. IF YOU MOVE INTO THIS HOUSE, YOU WILL BE COMPLETELY ALONE. It may be 200 a week, bills included, but it's a ripoff and a massive mistake. Please spread this message to all your friends who are looking for rooms in West Footscray/Kingsville/Seddon/Yarraville. And contact me if you want more information
Mid 20's, full time worker. Enjoy sports and have a passion for travel. Non-Smoker. Very flexible and adaptable to all situations. Happy to join in on group activities but also can respect personal space as well. Have lived with both males and females in the past and am comfortable living with both.
I clean up after myself, fun to live with but also like to keep to myself. I am new to Melbourne from Perth so looking to meet friends as well as flat mate! I will be studying at VU Footscray and currently work at Chadstone shopping centre. Please text me
I work as an abseiler in the construction industry. Clean and responsible. Like having a beer and a laugh and going away on free weekends. Usually take a month off work every 3 months to travel overseas too.
I'm an easy going person with a sense of humour. I'm reliable in terms of rent and bills being paid on time. I get along easily with people, I like to share the odd meal or drink but also love 'me time' and am respectful of peoples space. I like to keep things pretty clean and tidy but i'm not rigid about it. I'd like to contribute to a comfortable calm shared home.
Bubbly, clean, social, friendly, and easy going. Usually working or online gaming in my spare time so I won't get in your way too often. :) I love photography, video games, fashion, and dining out. NOTE: I am currently perusing and looking at a possible move in date sometime mid March, so please do not contact me regarding properties available right now! MUST HAVES: - Private room - decently sized - Fast unlimited internet, so NBN/fiber optics/cable (no ADSL please) - Walking distance to trains/trams as I work near Southbank PREFERABLE: - Wardrobe space - Ensuite or own bathroom if possible (but not absolutely essential) - Walking distance to local shops/cafes/etc - If possible, access to off-street parking as I may acquire a car

Hello prospective housemates! I'm Nick, a 29 year-old SEO web content writer from the Altona area. I am a sociable, clean, one-eyed Western Bulldog supporter looking for long-term accommodation. I've been living in Melbourne for a bit over two years. I'm a very quiet person, but I like to balance it with a nice chat at home. I like reading a lot and I enjoy music with all of my being. I'm not even halfway of being a party animal, but I do enjoy going out once in a while, as well as having a couple of drinks at home. I'm tidier than average, but not OCD in any way. I love dogs, tolerate cats and want to have a fish tank.
I'm a professional working in the electricity industry and looking to move closer to where I currently work in Camberwell. Quite, clean and respectful of others privacy and like to keep things neat and tidy around the house. Looking for an unfurnished room, ideally with private bathroom but happy to share with other housemate.

Moving back to Melbourne after living in Canberra. I'm laid back, respectful, enjoy a debrief at the end of the day but still likes my own space. I love to cook, see live music and exercise. I come with one very sweet ginger cat named Monty Purns. He's up for a snuggle but very independent and very well house trained.
Social yet able to give people space, non-party-person (though I do like to have a few friends over now and then!), sane and sorted, and generally fun-loving!
I am a respectful, honest and clean person. I work at a waitress and in childcare centre. I like having my own time but also share some time a meal, cook for everyone, have a drink and a good laugh. Hope to hear from you if you think we could live together.
Hi everyone. As a potential future housemate I'm easy, chill and respectful. Hoping to find myself among like-minded individuals. I'm sort of a minimalist so I keep everything neat and clean and together. Always willing to help out around the house where its needed. We'll probably end up being best mates! Haha, looking forward to meeting you if fate should have it :)
Hi all, I'm a professional Engenieer working full time in a manufacturing company. Recently moved to Melbourne from Brisbane, currently living in Docklands and looking for accomodation close to work. About me.. Love outdoors activities, bike rides, running, camping, hiking and BBQ's.. I enjoy having a drink or meal with the people I live with but also enjoy my own time. I'm not looking for a party house and I would prefer live with professionals as well
I'm a 33 year old masters student at RMIT, working part time at Melbourne Uni Asia Institute. I also teach tai chi, when i have students, I am getting into boxing this year. I like cycling and bushwalking, and I am torn between hardcore and post-hardcore punk. I like John Banville. When it's my turn to clean, I clean like a pro. Non-smoker, meat eater, social drinker. I have conversational-level Japanese; I used to work there. I am basically a damn chill flatmate.
I am a teacher at John Monash Science School in Clayton. I do this part-time so I can also take on other duties and projects. Due to changes that are happening at school this year, I will have to go to school 9 days over a fortnight instead of 6 days. Commuting from inner-north has been okay last year, but I thought it might be the time I made a jump to make things a bit easier and explore a new part of the city. Alongside teaching, I always have multiple projects at hand. I am currently organising an ‘academic’ conference for VCE students with Monash University. I am taking up a new role as a music co-ordinator for the school (though I am not music trained), organising events and camps. I have always had multiple music projects at hand, the latest one being running a production room with a friend in Footscray (www.softmachinestudio.com). My goal this year is to get more music out there to start working with other artists for song arrangement and production. Oh, and I’m also starting to learn about computing / data stuff, though I’m a total novice. I travel around on PT to meet with friends and collaborators to have chats and meetings. I do a lot of things in my life and collaborate with a range of people, but I am a pretty quiet person. I am equally so in terms of my lifestyle; I hate disturbing people I live with by making mess and noise, because I think relaxing and sleeping well are super important. In the last few years I’ve been trying to reduce clutter and the number of things I own, though I still have a long way to go. Having said that, I am more than happy to buy or replace essential appliances for the place (e.g., fridge, washing machine) so I am contributing to the house. Another thing I can contribute would be my DIY skills; I can repair quite a range of things (because that’s what I have had to do for the music / studio). I do not have any allergies or dietary problems, though I generally do not eat meat at home. I have no health problem either. I just have issues with selfish and vain people, that’s about it. I shall stop here; thank you for taking your time to read this. If you have any questions about me, please do not hesitate to ask! I will be away from Melbourne for work between 16 and 28 January, but I am generally flexible with my schedule and can meet up for a chat or pop around for an inspection most evenings or any time on weekends (I don’t do the whole ‘party’ thing, though I do go out to events quite a bit). I look forward to hearing from you.
Just returned from 4 and a half years living in London where I enjoyed the social nature of a share house. I am a primary school teacher and will be starting a new job in Werribee next year. Looking for an established share house or someone to start a new one with. I like to keep myself busy and would hope to have a person to share a drink with at the end of a work week. Good luck and hope to hear from anyone interested.
Hi our names are Jess and Nadia. We are in the transition of moving back to Melbourne after travelling and away for 7 months. Jess works full time as a chef, Nadia is a nurse so we both work weekends. We are super clean and respectful people. Lay back and love to socialise with my friends with long lazy breakfasts or enjoying all that Melbourne has to offer. We both love travelling and are always planning our next adventure. Jess loves to cook, and whoever is around benefits from this. She also enjoys films and book. Nadia enjoys good music, particularly in the sunshine with a few drinks, and video games.
My name is Perry, I am currently working a few part time jobs, and looking to start a university course next year. I am not a huge socialite, but I am partial to a drink with friends every now and then, especially housemates. My main interests are Gaming, Film and TV and Professional Wrestling, which tends to see me in my room doing my own thing a lot of the time. I am fine with any pets, and do not bring any of my own. I would mostly take care of myself in terms of cooking, laundry, dishes and so on, however am willing to work around any system already in place. Please feel free to message me about any further questions.
My gorgeous staffy x dog and I are looking for a home. She needs a home where the housemates don't just allow pets but love dogs. She loves company and wants to be with you, whether that's following you around or playing tug 'o war. Another dog would be awesome too. She's house trained, regularly walked and well loved. Cleaner than a small child! I would ideally like to live with 2 other people or 3 where there is some social times but not an expectation. More than happy to live with couples of any gender combos. Just a good mix or social times and independence. An occasional shared meal or drink or chat but I'd probably do more meals independently. People who are respectful of boundaries and reasonably clean and a bit of fun and banter. Housemates who are also cool with a partner or friends swinging by but by no means all the time.
A fun loving bloke, easy to get along with. Enjoy communal areas but also appreciate and respect everybody's personal space. Have been sharing houses for a while now and thoroughly enjoy the experience and would love to keep doing so after my current lease ends! Currently work full-time as a banker at NAB (38h/pw). My ideal place would be happy to have my girlfriend stay a couple of nights a week, and I would be happy to pay extra for that. Look forward to hearing from my future housemates.
I am quiet, clean, nice and keep to myself for the most part. I am an open-minded, accepting person and I am looking for a flat-mate/s with those same qualities as well. I have a part time job however I have student allowance, so paying rent will not be a problem. I'm an animal person, love dogs and cats.
Hey potential roomies! I am 21, working part-time as a beverage chef at a bar in the city, and also make and sell jewelry in my spare time. I am looking for a house that is occupied by people that are friendly, clean and are up for hanging out every now and then. I enjoy cooking, going to local gigs and chilling out with a book and a Jameson and dry after a long week of working. I consider myself to be respectful and neat, and can tell the best/worst dad jokes you have ever heard. Message me if you want to get to know me more!

Hey! I quit university over four years ago in the UK, and started working for Apple. After three and a half years, I decided to return back to my studies, but this time in Australia. I've spent the last 10 months on the Gold Coast, however, I've decided to transfer to Melbourne because I miss going to the pub. I try to travel as much as I can, and I’m currently studying a bachelors in IT at RMIT. Would like to meet like-minded people, have the occasional drink/dinner together, but like anyone I do appreciate my alone time as well :)
