Young professional working full time in investment banking. I like spending my time keeping active and am usually out on weekends. Weekdays you'll find me either working late in my room or out for training. I prefer to keep to myself but am more than happy to engage in a conversation most days. I always clean up after myself and prefer the household the same way.
I'm originally from a country town and moved to Sydney a year and a half ago. I'm currently studying business part time and working full time as a barista (so there'll be good coffee in the house always). I work hard and pride myself on being punctual and tidy. I'm a good laugh (I hope), as easy going as it comes, reliable, respectful and easy to approach. I'm not into the idea of a party house however I thoroughly enjoy a beer on a Summer's day with a spot of cricket and a barbecue. Feel free to message me anytime :)
From South Australia - love good food + wine, swimming and yoga. Non-smoker, super clean and friendly! Have been living in Sydney for the past year, now looking for a new place closer to work.
Hi, I'm Laura! I'm a 23 year old studying Education and working part time. I'm a Sydney local hoping to move into the Inner West early into next year (2018). I play netball and have started learning to play the glockenspiel. Not very good at either - but I still have fun! When I can, I love binging TV shows (recently finished Big Little Lies - definitely recommend even thought it's quite intense) and singing along to the radio in my car. I'm very friendly and do love meeting new people and socialising; whether that be out about or by chilling out at home. If I had to pick I'd say I'm slightly more of a homebody. I enjoy baking (my home made jam is pretty fab too) and I'm always down for communal dinners, a sneaky 5pm drink or a good ole late night D&M. I'm a good listener who knows how to clean up after herself and maybe only sometimes sings loudly in the shower. Honestly, I would like to be friends (or at least on friendly terms) with the people I live with, but I understand that this doesn't always happen. I would like to live within 10 minutes of a station as at this time I don't have a car. Let's roll the dice and live together?!
Hey potential roomie, Here's a little about me! I moved to Sydney about a year ago, looking for somewhere new to explore! I like the beach as our home town is coastal and so love beachside adventures, coffee and reading books and espresso martinis. Would love to be close to transport as I don't have a car. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am easy going, respectful of privacy but also love to sit down for a chat. I like to keep my space clean and I hope you do too. I grew up in rural victoria but moved to Sydney to build a career in something that I am passionate about. Flash forward one year and everything is on track, I just need a place to stay! Please message me if you would like to get to know me better.
Moving soon and just checking on what's out there. I work full time in the city and am looking for somewhere around the Newtown area. Have a bunch of movies and books that all are welcome to along with a some furniture and things that can go into storage or be used as needed. Into all the usual type stuff. Movies, books, writing, music, sports & exercise etc. Pretty tidy and easy going. I don't mind a drink and a laugh but also fine to leave you to your own devices. I don't believe I have any weird personality defects, No OCD, no crazy pet obsessions or any kind of shoe phobias. Pretty sure i'll be a good roommate.
Hey I'm 23 and currently unable to work for health reason so I can't afford much. I'm very easy going and a good cook. I clean up after myself and do my best to help around the house. I am only here to complete my treatment and hope to leave early next year. Hope to hear from you, thanks for your consideration
I am a 30 year old Industrial Engineer doing a double masters in Business Administration and Global Project Management. I am a professional full time head barista. I moved to Australia to cultivate my professional and educational experience. I am respectful, quiet, clea and tidy and won't bother anyone. I am a secular humanist. I read a lot because I love learning about life, love, gain knowledge and pursuit something greater than myself. I play the guitar and absolutely love music... it calms my soul!!! I also love Netflix and chill!!! If you are looking for someone fun, responsible and easy going, then I am the guy for you!
I am a returning ex pat from Dubai. I'm a mature aged female looking for temporary accommodation for 3-6 months while I decide where I'm going to live. What makes me great to live with? I keep to myself but can be sociable, I'm very clean and tidy and respectful of other peoples need for privacy and be in a peaceful environment. I am a generous person. I will cook an occasional meal for you if you wash the dishes after me but I don't want to be your mother! I'm a good listener as long as you don't ramble. I'm intelligent so you have to be too and I have a good sense of humour.
Hi Guys, we are looking for a nice Studio or room near Sydney. My Girlfriend and Me come from Germany (we are engaged). We are here with the work and travel Visa for one Year. We both have a fulltime job in Sydney. We are very tidy and do not smoke either. We are looking forward to hearing from you
By profession I am structural design engineer. Currently I am pursuing masters at UTS. I do extra work with catering project also. I am from Nepal, the birthplace of Buddha and where the world highest peak is standing. Generally I am fun to be with if people are connected with me else I am a quiet person, I do not talk much. Moreover I enjoy silent talks and watching a lots of movies. I don't mind having drinks with the mates and that's the best time I become chatterbox.
I am a social worker with a fairly hectic schedule working two jobs throughout the week. I am into running and fitness & usually head to the gym after work then home to make some dinner and relax. I love brunching and getting outdoors on the weekends and often visit family/see my partner who lives interstate or go out with friends. I am clean, tidy and house trained and would love to live somewhere peaceful that I can relax in after work.
Currently working full-time in Pyrmont, Sydney. Moving from Brisbane after completing school and uni there. Well internationally travelled and open to meeting and living with all types of people :)
Moving to Sydney for a 12-month job transfer from mid October 2017. Looking for a room to rent in inner sydney, preferably for 6 months initially. 26yo female, work full-time mon-fri.
I'm looking for a room, work 9-5 ish (sometimes from home) but mostly out and about, quiet, clean but not weird just like to do my own thing most of the time. I still like chats with the housemates and an occasional family dinner or beer/wine. Vegetarian. Gay. Considerate.
Hello! I'm Maiko :) I'm 27 and I work full-time as a lawyer in the eastern suburbs. I work pretty long hours but when I'm not lawyering, I'm either off singing at an open mic, at life drawing, working on building a start up, or in bed watching shitty TV shows like The Bachelorette (which I not so secretly enjoy) while enjoying a glass (or two) of wine (or gin & tonic :)). I'm pretty easy going, so I enjoy holing up in my room as much as hanging out with housemates over dinner and drinks, or a Modern Family binge watching session. I don't really cook so you're likely to have the kitchen to yourself haha Currently I live with a couple who have now become my close friends and I love where we're currently living in Dulwich Hill. Unfortunately I've just been told that the owner wants to move back in so now I'm on the hunt for a place to live once again. If you like the sound of my profile and can offer a place - hit me up! :) PS I'm looking for somewhere more long term (a home please, not just a house) so I'm not interested in short, time-limited leases, homestays or room shares. Thanks! Maiko
Hi! My names Liam. Im 20, working 4 days a week and studying online. I'm looking for a relaxing and friendly environment to live in where everyone is tidy and friendly and has no issues communicating with each other. Thats what I bring to the table and thats what I'd like in a flatmate :). I'm not really the type to party hard, so you wont hear me stumbling through the door late at night. I tend to spend my down time making music, reading books or skating. I like having time to myself and I respect other peoples need to have the same, but I also really hope to get to know my flatmates and be able to hang out and do stuff together. What I lack in years I make up for in direct life experience, so if you'd like to know anything else about me, feel free to ask :)
Friendly, tidy, and quiet. Very happy to help clean up around the house. I currently work as a Apprentice full time and have lived in Sydney all my life. Love the city and everything about it. I play baseball and footy most weekends and watch a lot too. Certainly love my tv shows and also love going out with mates on weekends. Brought up with a good family so i am very easygoing.
29 yo, Spanish. Tidy and clean, respectful with other's privacy, likes to share. Plays soccer, likes sports in general and cooking.
My name is Geoff, I'm a 36 year old teacher who works in Queens Park. I've lived in Sydney for the last 8 years in the Eastern Suburbs after being in the UK/country NSW for work and looking for a change. I like the community feel of the Inner West and keen to check out a new part of town. I regularly go to gigs, movies and restaurants as well as spending weekends away and school holidays. One of the side effects of being a Geography teacher I guess. I play basketball twice a week (City and Bankstown) and like to keep relatively active. I run a publishing website in my spare time and love to read.
Im social, very easy going, clean and respectful. I enjoy watching movies, cooking and reading. I dont mind going out once in a while, not really a drinker but i do have the occasional beer. Im not a smoker and I love animals.
I often try to keep my life as simple as possible. I am a non-alcoholic, non-smoker and don't have any pets. I am a vegetarian except for fish (but I don't mind living with meat eaters, smokers, wine lovers, or even party animals). I would consider myself being flexible, tolerant and resourceful. However, I find that living in Sydney can be very stressful. So I often turn into a worrier, when I should really be a warrior! (Unfortunately, I tend to worry too much, and that is a problem I am always working on.) I live a "less sociable" lifestyle and it is very unlikely that I will intefere with other people's private/social life. However, I would love to have some friends to have a chat with, and go out shopping at the supermarkets once in a while. I am very respectful of other's privacy and belongings. I have a good rental history and I have kept over a year of rent payment invoices from my past (Licenced) Real Estate Agent as proof. At present, my weekly budget for rent is $200-$250/wk. If you decide to SMS or send me a message via the website, please have patience (since it is not always convenient for me to respond to messages or SMS instantly, especially during business hours.) At times I may no logon to the flatmates website daily due to a busy lifestyle. Thank you for your understanding. Cheers.
