Hi! My name is Marlin, my 2 housemates and I are looking to move into another place as our lease ends here on the 21st of March, we're looking to move into anywhere that is willing to take in 3 people, or even move into a place with others who are also looking to share. I'm a waiter at two places, one of the other housemates studies and the other one has just finished University; so we have a group of very solid, great and reliable people who love to meet new people and get to know them. If you're interested or know of places that are available or OTHER people that are interested, please don't hesitate to contact me 24/7. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards, Marlin.
I'm an Engineer who is moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work. I love music and going out to gigs, exploring new places and chilling with friends over a beer. I also like staying fit and the outdoors. I'm easy going and am happy to socialise but understand alone time to recharge the batteries :) . I'm all for sharing responsibilities and keeping the house in a good condition. I'm excited to explore a new city and would love to hear from you if we might be a good fit!
We are both in our mid to late 20's we are open minded people that like to have fun at times and also enjoy chilling back cooking, reading, studying and seeing what Sydney has to offer. We have both Just moved to Sydney this month from Melbourne and looking to find similar minded people to live with Zach is a Baker pastry cook by trade and An Aussie from country NSW Heidi is a Barista and has studied in her Motherland South Korea and has been in Australia for 5 years. We are both clean and tidy, respectful, animal lovers and LGBT friendly
I'm thoughtful and clean. Respectful of space and other's need for space. Friendly and considerate. I'm studying social work and I'm a teacher who has always worked in public education, so I lean towards the left of the political spectrum. I'm passionate about the environment and would appreciate sharing a space with an individual who holds similar political views.
I'm from Portland, OR in the Northwestern US and am excited to be spending the year here in Australia. I have lived with roommates in the past and I'm good at keeping living spaces clean, I enjoy cooking at home more than eating out, and I have an easy-going, open-minded attitude. I enjoy keeping up with science and technology, watching live music, meeting new people and exploring new places.
I work full time as an Accountant in Parramatta. I enjoy running, going to the gym, going to the beach, eating out with friends. Looking for a place in a sharehouse with friendly people around my age group. Would like somewhere long term.
I'm a friendly, quiet and easy going 24 year old male. I'm respectful of peoples privacy but also good for a chat and a few drinks. I spend most of my down time watching tv, reading, playing video games, and go out on weekends every now and then. I work full time.
I am clean, tidy and friendly. My cats are toilet trained and have short hair. I like to do outdoors things like canyoning and I attempt to climb. I am a high school teacher so pretty quiet, and don't do big parties Oh and I can cook, apparently my pork roast is pretty good.
Looking for a furnished place to move into ASAP for six months plus. Would prefer my own bathroom (or shared with one other). Non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. Animal lover (especially cats) but not bringing any with me. Would prefer an all female flat, or a mix of girls and guys. I'm 27 years old, working in digital advertising full time and just finished my masters last year. I work in Pyrmont so ideally looking for something within walking distance or close to the light rail or a train station (would consider paying more if I could walk to work). I'm very chilled and sociable, but also like my downtime and respect other's space. I like quiet nights in watching a movie, drawing or learning a new language (I speak six). I also enjoy swimming and trying new cuisines. Bonuses include that I'm first aid certified and am also trained in mental health first aid as I used to be an RA, so I'm great if you need a shoulder to lean on. Things I appreciate in a flatmate are cleanliness, respectful in regard to noise levels and just generally friendly. I've lived in a variety of situations including on my own, in a number of flats with singles and with couples and in a dormitory. Happy to provide references from previous places if requested.
Hi There, I am a young, friendly and outgoing girl looking for accommodation in the Inner West area (need to be closed to train or tram stations due to work reason). I am a full-time student and also working part-time in the city. Not a smoker or a party animal and I prefer a place that is relaxing and really just feels like home. :) If you are interested in becoming housemates with me, please do not hesitate to contact me!! :) You can message me through this website. Cheers!
Hello my name is Thaneeshya :) I am 29 years old. I resigned from full time work as a mental health employment support worker in October last year to return to completing my Degree in Behavioural Studies. My 6month lease through a real estate ended recently and as I am currently not on any bound lease I can leave by giving notice as I am looking for a new place to call home :) About me: I am a non smoker, drink on rare occasion, am very prompt with rent and bills and am neat, tidy and a very considerate housemate. By this I mean, I do not leave a mess, do not make noise and like to ensure my housemate is keeping well. I am looking to live with like minded individuals. I do not mind living with females and/or males but I hope that if I live with females, that you will be alright with my boyfriend Andy visiting me after work and staying over a few nights. Ps If you have a pet/pets I don't mind as I love love love animals. I am currently looking to get back into either part time or full time employment so that I can ease living off my savings. Thank you :)
Hey! I'm Julia :) I am a fashion design student, but now working full-time for a year while I defer. As well as fashion I love good music, old movies, the 1920's and reading. I'm basically just a really chill person. I'm all for chatting with a glass of wine and getting to know people but I am also simultaneously an introvert (could binge watch netflix all day). I absolutely love dogs, I actually have a 1 year old Dachshund called Pepperoni (Pepper for short), and I would love her to come with me! If you are looking for someone who is neat and tidy (with the exception of their own room at times), who is down for a good chat, loves to cook, and can cook well, loves to go out drinking at bars, and who loves dogs then I am your gal! Plus, I mean you would have the chance to live with a little sausage dog :)
Hi! I'm Anthony. Currently a USYD grad student. My friends say (as if it gives credibility) that I'm an easy-going, funny and genuine person. I don't drink, don't smoke, don't do drugs. Really looking forward to living with nice people!
Hi guys! My name is Jodie and I will be moving to Sydney within the next few weeks from Canberra to start a new position with the NSW government after graduating from my tertiary studies. I am a bright and bubbly person, I love being social but I also enjoy my own time. I will be working full-time and I will most likely travel back home to Canberra regularly on the weekends. I love animals and I get along with everyone. In my spare time I love to explore new places, get together with friends, find new places to eat, play sports and cook/bake. I am definitely not a "party" person, but I do enjoy the occasional social drink. I am a clean and organised non-smoker, who loves nothing more than a night in watching Netflix with a glass of wine.
HI there! My name is Karena, and I am a 34 year old female looking to live in the inner west of Sydney. I am currently in job hunting mode, as I have come back from travelling and am settling back into the real world! I am a responsible, fun and considerate person who cleans up after themselves! I believe in a good balance between personal time and hangout time with flat mates, and so I don't get all offended if you just want to read in your room sometimes. I have excellent references that I can provide, and have lots of interests. I love dancing, theatre, animals, sustainability, gardening, chats over wine and dinner. I am a non-smoker, I lean to the left and am queer friendly! All the best, Karena
I'm an 18yo student, looking to move closer to campus. I currently work part time running the social media accounts for a medical company. I love cooking and baking, getting outside and adventuring. I'm super great to live with, clean and tidy and there will always be baked goods in the house. I have a cat named Puddin, would love to have him move with me, but otherwise he'll just stay with my parents so no dramas. :)
High School teacher currently teaching in the Inner-west of Sydney looking to move closer to work. I like to keep fit and always up to socialise. I'm very easy going and like to keep my things nice and tidy.
Hi, My name is Alireza and recently move from Dubai to Sydney. I am friendly, easy going and tidy person and I'm looking for clean room.
Hey, I'm Clare I work in early childhood education full time and like baking and animals (even though I dont have any) I'd love to be a part of a relaxed household and share a social drink or two occasionally. Feel free to message me if you'd like to know more, looking forward to meeting some of you :)
I'm 22 years old, and an emerging actor/writer. That and casual work keeps me pretty busy, but in my downtime I'm keen on watching netflix or hanging out with friends. I run and cycle pretty much every day, I'm a vegan (not an annoying one though, it doesn't bother me at all if you eat meat). I like the occasional house party but I also really appreciate a calm, clean living space. The house be queer friendly, and not have cats (I'm allergic, but dogs are fine).
Hi, I am Danny. I am 33 years old and single male. I am an accountant. I work full-time near the city. I am looking for an accommodation all for myself or TEAM-UP/SHARE near city. Any train station and a gym at a walking distance are a MUST. I have a notice period of 3 weeks at my current accommodation which I will execute once I have found somewhere to move into. :) I like cleanliness around the house. I am a very easy going person. I am usually on the go at the weekends which would include going to a pub/club/restaurant or a meetup, playing pool, staying out the whole night or just stay at home and read a book or watch YouTube videos or a movie or marathon of any sitcom with a pizza and beer or whatever the mood is... I go well with people from all backgrounds. I respect privacy but also like to have a good chat (who doesn't?) and keen on doing joint activities with my roommate(s) like barbecue, groceries, shopping, gym, movies, sports or whatever they like. I am always open to doing new things. I have a new found love in karaoke lol. Not sure how long it will last before I hop onto some other interesting activity. I am very punctual about paying my rent and would want a roommate (in case sharing the rent) who always pays the rent on time. I am not looking for just another human being living in the same house who I barely talk to, unless they have a touring job or something that keeps them out for productive reasons. I look forward do build friendship with the people I live with. I am a vegetarian (not a vegan). I cook (not bad actually), and I love to cook for others too as long as it does not involve meat. I make my own cheese. :) I have no problem whatsoever if you eat meats. I do have problem with the smell of some sea foods though, like dried prawns. I volunteer with a food charity. Food is my passion. IMPORTANT: I have a queen size bed, an entertainment unit, a buffet table, a coffee table, a six seat dining table without chairs (BYO chairs, LOL), a 3+2 (recliner) lounge, a 3 door (385 Ltr) fridge, a big ass 65" 4K TV, home theater and a microwave, all of which I am happy to share. I do not have a washing machine. Depending on the rent and space I am happy to move some of my non electronic gear to a storage. I have a large sedan so would need some sort of parking. I do not have any pets. I love dogs. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Danny
Hi! My name's Georgia. I'm a graphic designer, swimming teacher and full-time student, currently completing my Masters degree at Sydney Uni. I'm looking for a place in the inner-west to call home while I complete my studies. I've pretty much elusively lived in share houses so am very share savvy. I'm tidy, reliable and considerate. Happy to have a wine/beer in the evening and share a meal, but also respectful of peoples privacy and alone time.
I'm 24 and I work full time; moving to Sydney in April for work for a minimum of 1.5 years. I'm a VERY tidy person, who wants to move in with like-minded people of a similar age. I currently run a warehouse shift in Melbourne, but will be moving to Head Office in Sydney for three six-month rotations for my graduate program. I will be working the usual 9-5 during my time in Sydney, and that means I'll be unwinding most weeknights. Love a night out and getting stupid on the weekends, but that's few and far between - I'm down for clubbing but prefer drinks at a bar or a chill night of BBQ and drinks at home. I'll always be down to socialise with roommates, but I do like my own time to myself too. I also have a miniature dachshund called Obie who's housetrained, but makes the odd mistake here and there. I will be trying my hardest to find accomodation to suit, but family are more than willing to take him in if I can't find a suitable home. I have all necessary furniture and can bring a 50" TV with a wii and an xbox to sweeten the deal.
Hi, I am Will. I'm currently looking to join a share house with like minded people in their 20's or 30's. I'm clean and tidy, i work full time and i'm very reliable you will have no problems when it comes to paying bills/rent. I'm a relaxed guy who is happy socializing or locking myself away watching a tv series. I'm into skateboarding, live music and having the occasional beer.
I'm 29, originally from New Zealand. I have been in Sydney for about 3 years now, currently living in Lewisham but looking for a new spot to live as the landlord is moving back into the house. I work out west and do stuff you'd probably want to bombard me questions over, but i can explain that in person. I am laid back and easy to get along with, not looking for a party house, but definitely social people who will grow into good friends. I have been flatting since I was 18 so I am clean and well house trained. I do dishes, wipe benches, mop etc like every housemate should.
Hi everybody! I am a masters student working part time. I study philosophy and am interested in everything. I'm fairly quiet but enjoy good conversation. I'm an avid gym-goer with certificates in personal training, I like bushwalking, board games and cooking. I love learning new things and meeting new people!
We are 2 great guys looking for a 3+ bedroom place with 1-2 others around Marrickville, inner west or border-line innerwest suburbs, as our current house is disbanding. We both work and study. Evan is a masters student, known as a walking encyclopaedia and has a great sense of humour. Sean is a law student, an awesome cook and has a chilled out cat called 'Ollie'. We're both easy going, considerate and great to chat to. Budget-wise our upper limit is $200-215 each per week (currently paying $235 each). Please get in touch.
I'm an avid traveller and when I'm not overseas I'm studying Speech Pathology at USYD. Studied history in Italy and ate and danced my way around the world before coming to Sydney. I'm very well house trained, eat good food that won't make your stomach turn, drink wine and am a very easy going and active person.
Looking for a place before 14 March 2017 - get in touch!!! I came to Australia as a backpacker over 7 years ago now and I am originally from Germany. In the meantime, I have lived in WA, NT and have become an Australian citizen. I work full-time in hospitality and study Holistic Nutrition at Nature Care College at the moment. I am interested in anything food and nutrition, have recently become a vegetarian (my flatmates can eat whatever they like though... :-) ) and try to live a rather balanced life. I visit the gym in my free time, love to go for walks and do yoga and meditation at home. I am social but not after living in a party house. I respect other people's space and go with the flow. If you are a full on introvert I will totally respect that. If you like to chat, I am up for it. I have a 4 year old medium-sized puppy who likes cuddles and playtime. He likes other dogs but - same as with us humans - not everyone, so if there would be another dog they have to meet each other first... He requires a yard and some decent outdoor space for himself. Otherwise he is very easy going and not much trouble. I actually would love to find a place with another dog so that he has a mate again since he grew up with other dogs and misses them very much. I would like to find an existing share-house anywhere near Ashfield (I work there) or along the train line towards Ashfield. I don't have a car and walk/ride to work or take public transport. If all of this sounds appealing to you, don't wait and get in contact with me!
I'm starting uni at USYD and looking to live in a sharehouse with other students or people around my age, also keen to join up to start a new share house. I'm looking around the inner west, not fussy about the condition of the place but just want somewhere chilled out & social.
Hi all, I am currently working full time close to the heart of the city so I am keen to move in a little closer at least for the next 3 to 6 months while I look at plans to make the move a little more permanent. I am easy going, respectful and clean and prefer to relax with a book, Netflix or gaming and prefer a relaxed/chill atmosphere. I am keen to find a social household to help open up my social circles a little and certainly wouldn't say no to doing things as a household or trips down to the pub. 3-4 people total in the household seems like a comfortable amount. While I am a smoker, it is more of a social thing and something I tend not to do on a day to day basis or while at home. I am also able to move ASAP, but there is no rush in needing to move.
Hi, I'm a french student and I'm 19. I'm coming to Sydney for a year. I study modern languages so I speak pretty well english and italian (+learning russian) Looking for cool flatmates to be part of my adventure, discover the country and its culture!! I'm very respectful and openminded, can enjoy a quiet moment with a book as much as a night at a pub. I can be discreet at first, just let me a moment to adapt.
I am a fun-loving person who loves the beach, watching movies, and strolling in the city or anywhere that I think I'll have a great time. I'm originally from the Philippines who came here in 2009 to further my studies. So, basically, I've been living in Sydney for at least seven years. I am a clean and tidy person. And I am respectful of other people's privacy as I expect similar in return.
I'm studying Law/Arts at the University of Sydney, going into my 2nd year. I have a relatively full on study load, however I am sociable and enjoy going out with friends on the weekend. I'm a musician and often play in bands around the Newtown area, and like to keep active, usually through boxing, basketball and gym. Easy going, and get along with most people (almost as well as I do with dogs).
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
Hi, My name is Nadia and I am an easy going Polish girl in her 20's who is looking for a friendly house to move in. I will be studding fine arts full-time and working part-time. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past years. I get along very well with all kinds of people, and I am always respecting house rules. I am also a huge movie buff, who enjoys good live music in my free time. I am able to move in from the 8th of February. Looking forward to hearing from you, Nadia
Hello there! I'm Lin (24) and I work full-time (8.30am-6pm) as a Showroom Coordinator in menswear. I've been living in Sydney for the past 5 years and love this city to bits. I'm looking for a place with good vibes and is not a trash can. I've grown to become really good friends with my current flatmates (whom I've also met on Flatmates!) but I'm looking to move somewhere closer to work (I work in the CBD). Ideally, somewhere with street parking or a garage as I have a car! I'm quite active (or at least I tell myself that) and like to be social but at the same time, am quite a big couch potato who loves her 'me' time. Netflix will be the death of me, ha. I'm into art/music and all things creative and enjoy a good conversation about life and all its beautiful imperfections over a glass of vino/beer (I'm not picky!), or three. If you are after an easygoing, responsible and independent flatmate, I'm your person!
Hi there! I am a very easy going person who loves the outdoors and hanging out with friends. Things I love doing in my spare time include rock climbing, hiking and canyoning. I'm always up for a casual drink or two and am a fairly adaptable person so am appy to keep to myself or get involved in things. I am a professional who works in the city and sometimes works long hours. Mayank
Hi! I'm a quiet, clean, easygoing Sydney gal working part-time and studying at Usyd. I appreciate privacy but definitely happy to share a meal and socialise w/ housemates, whatever suits you! When I'm not at uni or work, I love a bit of baking, reading, music (listening and making), bingeing netflix shows I don't really care enough about to be bingeing, and a glass of wine or two.
I recently graduated from an Audio Engineering degree last year and am currently working in retail 4-5 days a week. Eliza is currently studying design at COFA and is also working in retail. We are both friendly, creative and easy going. Always up for a laugh and a conversation.
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and going rock climbing on weekends.
Hi, I'm looking a short or long term room, ideally a relaxed, positive home with genuine people. Consider myself to be easygoing and considerate. I have full time job with an eCommerce company. Been share housing for a while and always pay my bills on time. My interests are cycling, travel, movies and live music. I'm from South America, but have lived in Australia for most of my life. I speak Spanish and am happy to help you practice :)
You're typical laid back, fun-loving Aussie bloke. Recently finished a 7 month trip through Europe, South America and the USA. I work in the city full-time, but on the weekends you'll often find me at the beach or out with friends. My talents include; cooking a mean pad thai, well tuned shower singing and I'm well toilet trained. I'm also tidy and always down to hang out and have a laugh. Also looking for people interested in joining my basketball team (not required for house lol).
LOOKING FOR TWO ROOMS. Hi! My name is Liam and I am a 4th year Veterinary Medicine student at The University of Sydney. My brother Sean and I are looking for two separate rooms relatively close to Sydney Uni. Sean is in his third year of Marine Biology at Sydney Uni. I have lived in share housing for three years now and have got it pretty much down pat. I can cook, clean and live cohesively with other people. I know how gross dishes left in the sink all weekend can be... I am at uni everyday and work on weekends at a local pub and sometimes during the week as a student ambassador the Sydney Uni. I am a quiet housemate as I am studying most of the time, but love having the odd dinner with housemates and friends and sitting around the lounge room just chatting. Sean and I are from a small country town in NSW and moved to Sydney for uni. I love to skateboard, go to the gym and go to heavy metal gigs. I would like to find a cool place with my brother Sean who does 2nd year Marine Biology at USYD. We would prefer to move into an established sharehouse and have no doubts we would fit well into anywhere we move into. Pets are cool, and I have no doubt I'd get along well with your dog or cat!
Hi my name is Tara, I'm 25 and originally from NZ. I work full time in medical research, which includes the occasional weekend. In my free time I like relaxing, cooking, watching netflix, and running. I am pretty easy-going, friendly, reliable, and tidy.
Im an easy outgoing person who currently working fulltime as a manager at a retail company .Im originally from China and has been living in Australia for 10 years. Im looking for a room (build-in bathroom ,modern kitchen ,modern bathroom, preferably all bills inc.) I work 5-6 days a week and my biggest hobby is dancing , especially Latin dance., occationally i would like to have a drink and chill with friends.
I'm a 25 year old finishing off my second degree, looking for a home for my two cats and I somewhat close to the city. I'm pretty chilled and laid back, and tend to work late nights. I'm clean and considerate and quiet. I'm a bit of a bookworm and also fond of the odd night out. As I have two kitties, I would prefer somewhere pet friendly. They give great snuggles, I promise!
I'm a second year film and advertising student at UTS. I'm from the Blue Mountains and I'm looking for a place closer to uni. I'm a pretty chilled person, who's not overly into partying - but I do like a social drink or two. I love film, TV, books and photography.
Very clean and tidy, respectful and sensitive to others in the house. Quiet yet sociable, Australian single female, no kids, relaxed with a great sense of humour and very easy to get along with. Loves animals so if you have pets it's a bonus!
Hi, I'm Nicola. Currently studying - Diploma of Costume, i'm creative and fairly social, happy to have a glass of wine or a G&T and a chat, yet i definitely like my own downtime, and am happy in my own company. Not a big tv watcher so there'll never be a tussle over the remote! (although if you've a good movie up your sleeve, happy to keep you company!) I pretty much like all types of music except country and western but don't make a habit of turning the volume up, preferring to read a good book or do a spot of painting/sewing/other creative stuff. I'm a clean up after myself as i go in the kitchen and tend to keep my stuff out of common areas (unless you like books, then i'm happy to add to the bookcase!). Easy going, open minded and like a good laugh. Ideally a room with either a mostly north west or west aspect is what i'm after, for the light - it's all about the light! Even a mostly north with bit of east will make me happy, as long as there's loads of light for my artistic pursuits. High ceilings would be great but not a "must have", prefer an unfurnished room but i can also work with furnished. If you like to have the odd impromptu party - not crazy kinda party (although i DO love a good costume party!), more the dinner party kinda thing, or mates over, that's fine by me - i may join in, invite a friend or two of my own along, or leave you all to it, either way, i have no problem with that sort of stuff if that's what you like to do. I don't have a pet, but if you have one that'd be awesome! Dog/Cat cuddles are the best!
I’m Kate, 26 yo from Bathurst. I used to work as a musician so I come complete with a host of instruments and a burning desire to perform again one day. (I recently acquired a xylophone, so, that's useful to have around, right?) I will be around the house a fair bit, I'm usually listening to a podcast and doing something creative. I love gardening, having a laugh, a spot of toilet humour, and all things creative - crochet, sewing drawing, painting. I have many art/craft supplies in tow. I’m a non drinker, non smoker, non partier, I'm looking for somewhere that isn't a party house, but housemates that have the occasional drink about the place or friends round is fine by me. I’m looking for housemates that are comfortable with communicating. It’s really important to me that my home environment is relaxed so I'd rather talk face to face than have things brewing. I tidy up after myself and like to keep things clean. I would ideally like housemates who are willing to do their share of cleaning too. I'm a fan of the cleaning roster. I'm hoping I can find some folks with similar interests to me.
I'm a mature male who is work focused, stable, clean and tidy. I'm a trainer and a coach, who gets along with a wide variety of people. I respect the people around me for who they are and what they stand for. I'm married and my wife and son are living overseas.
