Hello Everyone! Originally from Wagga, I moved to Sydney to study engineering and I have been share housing in the Inner West for a few years now. Living within walking distance to a train station is ideal but not necessary. I like to cook and meal prep as well as clean my dishes! I am looking for a room to rent in a house that is relatively chill, I consider myself somewhat of an introvert and I value housemates that respect privacy and study time. When I am not busy with uni work, I'm more than happy to chill. I don't drink much (student budget) but I won't say no to a free beer!
Hi, I am looking for a place I can call my home. I am easy going, clean and tidy, I would love to have a wine and dinner with my flatmates but I am also respectful of other’s and my own space.
*(FYI: Just here for research at the moment, not looking to move until March 2019)* I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude who is looking to move on or after August 31st. (Currently subletting until then). I work full time for a trade union, Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing and like having low key evenings at home although don't mind the occasional movie/pub meal during the week. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm reliable and responsible with rent/bills/groceries/dishes/taking the bins out, etc. I'm also sociable and funny, and don't mind having a chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I love cooking (when I'm not exhausted) and sharing a meal once in a while. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates and would like to live in a place i call home rather than just rent a room in a house. Most importantly, I am house-trained and not a dickhead.
We are a German couple (25 and 28) looking for a room in Newtown preferably. We are travelling around the world and are currently working in Summer Hill. Our plan is to stay in Sydney until the end of January. Paul is a psychologist and I am specialized in marketing and communications. We are tidy, open-minded and easy going. We have some great stories to tell about our journey and would love to share them with you on chill evenings.
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! X Pixie & Zen
Hi, I am originally from Western Sydney, the last two years I have lived in Germany. Upon my return, I am seeking a new adventure of moving into the city, finding a new job, living in a new area and making new friends. I am searching for a friendly flatshare where we can have spontanous dinner / wine /movie nights together. I am a clean tidy person, I enjoy socializing, being outdoors, cooking, and im always up for trying new things. I am easy going and very adapable to different environments.
On top of being a domestic goddess and exquisite hot beverage-making skills, I come with close to a decade of share-housing experience! Originally from Southwest Victoria, formerly of Sydney’s Inner West and currently residing jn Geelong, I’m a 25-year-old freelance creative looking to relocate back to the Harbour City to pick up my career where I left it after an extended sabbatical. I like getting outdoors to do a lot of photography and sometimes staying in to sketch in my spare time - but I’m never against the odd meal, chat, drink and/or Netflix binge with housemates. Besides creative pursuits and being outdoorsy, I enjoy the odd video game (I come bonus with a PS4), quietly reading in the sun and come with enough general knowledge to make starting a house pub trivia team a practical benefit. If you think that’d I would be a welcome addition to your home, send me a message!
I am quiet, respectful, polite and I like to keep things neat and tidy. I’m a nutritionist so I’m pretty busy most days mon-fri and usually like to chill on the weekends or catch up with friends. I’m studying part time at Sydney Uni and saving for my home deposit and would like to share with other like minded people. I’m into sustainability, saving money, kirribilli markets, and like pets dogs and cats do not bother me as long as they are toilet trained! I’ve lived in shared accomodation mostly in London when I lived there. Whilst I do lead a busy life I am not opposed to having a chat or the occasional flat mates dinner. Look forward to hearing from you.
Chilled and down to earth 33yr Female and a max chilled little doggo named Zula. I work full time in Bush Regen, early morning starts Mon-Fri. New to the inner west I enjoy music, rock climbing, yoga, festivals, camping or anything outdoors basically. I am respectful, clean and house proud, looking for a home not just a room. I am looking for a nice relaxed enviroment, with some chilled flatties, who like me enjoy cooking, good company and a good laugh, and the occasional beer or wine. A little bit about my doggo; shes a 9yr bitsa breed, super chilled and quiet, life goals - snuggles and pats from everyone! Shes well house trained and unless you whip out a ball you will find her snoozing the day away or catching flies. Shes well clipped and groomed so doesnt leave hair or nor is she a stinky dog, she wins the hearts of everyone she meets. And also gets on with other dogs and cats. Look forward to hearing from you 🌞
I'm clean and tidy, maybe sometimes not that much for my room, but i like to keep the common area as clean and tidy as possible, i'm funny, honest and reliable guy that is a bit shy at first. I like enjoy movies night or dinner with friends for a night in or get a few drinks in a nice place with good music, if there is a live is even better!!! I consider myself a different kind of traveler.....used to live between England and Scotland, for about 4/5 years trying to travel as much as i could, in Australia now for more then a year, already visited few place and i hope to get the chance to visit more
Felipe, 31, Male Full time Graphic Designer; Looking forward for a clean, and nice single place which I could call home. Responsible, easy going, clean & pet friendly. I’m Emma from Finland. I have the working holiday visa and a job in the city. I’m nice, laidback, clean and tidy. I don’t smoke. I enjoy having a couple of drinks every now and then and perhaps having a dinner together. I respect ones personal space and me-time.
Very considerate flatmate, outgoing but also like my down time. Enjoy the beach, training, good food/wine/company and travelling when I can. Important who I live with and that we are like-minded and get on well.
Sunshine friendly person, always down for a fun chat, and also enjoy nice chill moments! Have experiences renting with different people before, so I'm pretty easy to live with. I work full-time as a motion designer, pretty busy in weekdays. At my down time, I like to chill at home reading, drawing, workout or go to picnic in the park/beach. I'm looking for someone like-minded to team up with. Ideally would like to find a two bedroom place. I have some furnitures- TV, couch, beds, tables, plants etc. Can move before the beginning of December or mid of January. Message me if you are keen to team up! Let's grab a coffee together. :)
I’m a clean, considerate and respectful inner westie who enjoys a decent amount of smashed avo, checking out new cafes/bars, going on mini weekend adventures, etc. Also very happy with a cup of tea watching a movie or reading a book on the couch!
I'm a very chill, outgoing Aussie girl originally from Northern NSW. I work full-time Monday to Friday in Rhodes. Previously lived in student accommodation for 2 years, so I know the ins and outs of share houses. I love to socialise and have a few drinks at home or at a pub after a work week, I am also neat and tidy and respectful of peoples privacy and space. I love a bit of adventure so I can be quite busy with friends, trips to the beach or events etc. usually on weekends.
Hi, I'm Melissa. I've been living in Summer Hill for nearly 6 years now and I really love the area, but my apartment is very old, so I'm looking for something new. About me: I've just started working at The Salvation Army which is amazing and have just finished an Arts degree at MQ uni. I'm now hoping to turn my attentions to various creative pursuits (crafts, performance, side hustle) with my newfound free time. I'd love to travel more and have been to the South Pacific and Portugal, with brief stopovers in Spain, Abu Dhabi and Germany. I am absolutely fascinated with psychology and why people do what they do, but I'm also equally fascinated with spirituality and all things woo-woo. (I have crystals and card decks for every mood and occasion). I love arts and crafts, although procrastinate actually doing anything with that, and I'd love to get into acting, more dancing, writing and fashion design, amongst other things. I consider myself to be intelligent, witty, fluent in sarcasm and smartassery, but also a sincere, loving, genuine, caring and supportive friend. What I'm looking for: Preferably female and max 2, but I'm open and flexible, depending on the vibe of the place and the people. Not fussed about employment status, although we might have more to talk about if you're a student/professional or both. Ideally non-smoker. Pet friendly (I've love one but my lease doesn't allow it). Like-minded. I love to have a chat at the end of the day and hang out, but also really enjoy my own private time and space (empath problems, also living solo for 12 months decreases tolerance levels towards other people for long periods of time, but gets kinda lonely and isolating, hence looking for somewhere new with good people). I'm looking for somewhere that's quite spacious and secure, ideally first floor (my current place has a garage underneath making it almost 2 story level, but still first floor), with plenty of light, separate internal laundry, large private balcony (to be shared with flatmates that is), lock up garage, separate shower and bath preferred, relatively short walk to the station and bus stop (around 5 mins would be awesome, but nothing more than 10 mins would still work), quiet tree-lined street with parks within walking distance, about 15 mins to the CBD, city/park views would be amazing. Modern and spacious kitchen (preferable electric cook top and neutral tones), less than 10 mins walk to supermarket/shopping centre, close to bike/walking track, unfurnished, good quality unlimited internet and utilities. Ideally I was looking to find someone/s to start a team up with as I've got a fairly solid idea of what I want in a place and can just get existing utilities redirected, I just need to find that place and flatmate/s to share with. I'm open to sharing in an already established flat share if your place sounds like what I've described above and you feel like I would be a good fit/someone you'd like to share with. I'm not in any particular hurry to move out, but am keen to move into the next stage of my life which I feel means moving on from my current place. However, I want to make sure I find the right place and person/s to share with before doing so. Feel free to contact me either way to discuss further. Thanks. :-)
Hi, I'm James, a young full time marketing professional who works for a children's charity. I'm looking for a share house in the Inner West from November onwards. My budget is $300 per week. I'm super easy to live with, generally because I spend my weekdays at work, and weekends going for a run, or having brunch with friends. I'm past the age of wanting to party hard, so if you are looking for a quiet, reliable and friendly housemate please make contact with me.
I'm fairly easygoing and mostly keep to myself. I cook and usually too much for just myself. I work monday to friday 8-5 and occasionally on weekends. I'm usually busy 3-4 nights a week with rehearsals for a couple of different projects.
Hi! We are a young couple from the Inner West looking to move out together into a property in a similar area. We are courteous and tidy, but also friendly and open. I (Adele) am currently working full time, while my partner Jonah is studying primary ed and working part time. We look forward to meeting you :)
I’m a 27 year old teacher with a 10 year old Labrador. I’m looking to rent a place while I save up for my own place.
I am a electrician from Brisbane and I am working on the tunnel and will be there for 3 weeks then fly home for 1 week when you would have one less person around .I am a clean and tidy person and always clean up after myself and others. I don’t smoke and only drink when I go out and not at home. I am an easy going person and have a bubbly personality and get along well with most people I meet. I spend most my day working and then to the gym after . I have work till June so that’s when I would be looking at moving out but that maybe longer till the end of the next year depending on work.
I am a Canadian moving to Sydney to pursue my Masters of Physiotherapy. I enjoy staying active whether it be through sports or the gym. I am a pretty easy going, tidy person who would love to catch up with my other flatmates over dinner or drinks, but also respect everyone's need for alone time. I love to travel and am excited to explore the city and beaches of Sydney on the weekends! Looking for a place to move into early February 2019.
Fun and down to earth professional looking to spread her wings from the nest once again. Work full time as a project manager in construction. I have a beagle but will happily let him stay with my parents if the house doesn’t allow pets.
