Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Although working, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I like to run, head on toadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and despite being well-travelled to places like the US - have amazing stories to tell. Look forward to hearing from you!
G'day potential housemates, so I'm an easy going, friendly sociable Aussie female. At the same time, I also respect that we all like to have some 'me time'. I'm looking to share with female/s in a house in any suburb between Corinda and Red Hill.
Hi! I am a recent graduate from QUT looking to start my masters within the year. I work 20-40 hours per week at Westfield Chermside and I'm always either there, on set on productions, at an internship, or in my room writing or watching Netflix (which I have a subscription to and could share with flatmates). I am quiet, I only cook if I know I can clean everything up straight after, and I have a boyfriend of 3 years (so no bringing strangers home!). I currently live on the Sunshine Coast and the commute is killing me. My boyfriend and I would also like to trial living together so it would be great if he could either move in too or if he'd be welcome 2-3 nights per week. He's a great vegan cook, very very clean, and a fantastic singer and guitarist in a touring band (so he can either serenade you over his famous burrito bowls or make himself scarce quite often when the band is travelling Australia and overseas). I am always up for a sneaky vino after work/internship/production and have great respect for everyone which I base on open communication and kindness.
Hello! I am a US citizen, but I will be moving to Brisbane in January to attend UQ graduate school. I want to live close to the campus, and I also plan on working part time. I am very clean, I like to have fun, and I am very friendly.
Hi, I'm Issak! I'm busy 20 years old, a full time student and work part time in retail I'm openly gay, and in saying this would probably prefer living with females as I socially connect with them easily When I'm not busy during the week I enjoy being social and going out over the weekends I am clean and well organised and would prefer like to live with someone like-minded I have lived in the inner western suburbs for the last 18 months and would like to stay in the area but I'm open to ideas on other suburbs provided they're still close to the CBD and public transport My lease doesn't end until early January but I'll be out of town for Christmas so I want to be organised and have a new place lined up before mid-December If you're interested in living with me don't hesitate to contact me on here or v, I'm fun and don't bite and would be up for brunch or something to see if we're a good fit :-)
Hey guys, i am a student looking for a room in Brisbane. I tend to keep to myself but am up for drinks and a chat on the weekends. i am clean, tidy and easy going. love to cook and garden and gym time haha. i love adventures to the beach and into the mountains. am planning on moving to Brisbane in January 2017. thanks.
Hi there! I'm Korii and I'm a 26 year old female currently living in Perth. However I will be moving to Brisbane at the end of November for a new job, which I am super excited about! However this means I am now on the hunt for a place to live. :) I am very friendly, laid back and pretty respectful of people's need for space/privacy. I love good banter and bad jokes. :P As I work full time, I like to keep busy in the weekends - heading outside, keeping active, visiting and exploring new places and trying new things. I'm a huge sports fanatic - love my rugby union in particular. I'm also hoping to check out the Muay Thai/Kickboxing scene when I get to Brizzy. Would love to live with others who are like-minded, somewhat mature (but still likes to have a good time every now and then!), respectful and friendly. Definitely don't mind sharing a meal or two every now and then either - I find cooking a great way to relax over the weekends. Because I am moving from the other side of the country I would prefer a fully furnished bedroom, just to make it a little easier. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Brisbane born, gentle giant, introvert but with a good sense of humour. Med-High level of cleanliness/tidiness, dependent on who i'm living with, I tend to match my fellow roommate's standards. Dishwasher is a necessity though! Super honest and tolerant. Currently living with some people in Kenmore, and the couple just got married, so are moving out. Moved in with them 4yrs ago, and we are now great friends :) I work part time from home, with a small Mobile Phone repair business. I refurbish phones for sale, and repair customers devices. This means I will have customers visiting the place to drop off, but only once or twice a day on average. I have my own doorbell, and I work in my bedroom. My current housemates have not had any problems with this, and I try to minimise the imposition as much as possible. Near cost price phone repair for fellow housemates is offered in return. :) I play tennis regularly, and volunteer at the tennis club too. Also play volleyball & golf occasionally and like trivia nights. I like playing my PlayStation too when I've got a good game, but I've got my own screen for my room. I like board games, movies, having a beer and chatting occasionally. I love animals, especially dogs (I don't have a pet though).
I'm a registered nurse. Tidy, quiet and friendly. I work shift work so I'll need the house to be quiet during the day so I can sleep for night shift about 3 times a month. Always happy to hang out and have a chat, but I'm respectful of boundaries. I would also require room mates to be 420 friendly.
Hi my names Julyan I'm 19 years old from Malaysia and going to study in UQ next year Feb. I'm clean neat easygoing and fun person but maybe will be a bit shy at first ;) I love water sports and COOKING!! Will be great we have our own space yet enjoy staying together :D :D
We are both friendly and bubbly, easy to get a long with, very sociable, will like to have friends over. Taylor works full time as a medical receptionist and owns a labrador, so it is a MUST that you adore dogs. Shauna works as a nanny and is home during school hours.
I'm clean, can cook - love to bake! Pretty quiet but keen to meet great new people. Reliable source of income - paying rent/bills will be no issue. Lead a fairly busy lifestyle but am always keen to watch a movie and chat over wine/cheese.
22 year old single male, just recently moving to Brisbane from the sunshine coast. Looking for a room/place in the southern suburbs. I work full-time, I also have a weekend job back on the coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm a student. I don't smoke, I barely drink, I'm exceptionally clean, and really easy going. I have a perfect rental history. I don't have pets or children but I do love both. Preferrably looking for a place by the 30/10 but can work around an earlier or later date
I'm a 21 year old Finnish-Australian starting my BA at UQ in Term 1, 2017. I'm very social and laidback, and hence expect to get along with pretty much everybody. I'm usually more than likely to be happy to go out and have a fun time, but also respect others' boundaries and privacy. I believe in fairness and sharedness when it comes to common chores, but I'm not too uptight and hate arguing. I've lived in shared accommodation before, and have always had a good time. You can contact me for either a room, or to teamup. Hope to hear from you, and have a good day!
I am an Italian-American student coming on exchange to UQ for Semester 1 of 2017 from McGill University in Canada. I am studying Geography, with minors in French and Economics, and I enjoy traveling, videography, music, and trying new foods. I am looking to share a house with some flatmates near campus! :) Hoping to find a great group of 3-4 other students to live with - either returning students or other exchange students - just looking for a fun group of people!
Hey guys, we're a couple from germany on a working holiday. We want to stay in Brisbane until christmas. We are both working at a car wash in Toowong and would like to find a room as close as possible. We like to socialise with others, but also respect and like to have some alone time. We're friendly, keep our place tidy and clean and are fun to live with for sure!
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
Hello there ;) I'm Grégoire from France. I have a Master in Agrifood and I am going to study English at Kaplan English International Brisbane during three months. Therefore I’m looking for an accommodation from 28/10/2016 until 28/01/2016 with 1 bathroom for 2 flatmates, and a maximum of 6 flatmates in the house with the possibility to park a bike. My budget is 200$ including all bills. (PS: I'm currently in France, I take off the 27/10/2016. I'm available on whats app and I can skype too)
A little about myself - Im 21 yrs old and work full time as a boilermaker. I enjoy travelling, making music, learning new things and the beach. I like to live in a clean environment and like to have a chat every now and then. I own a house in another town that I'm renting out so understand what is expected of tenant living in someone else's place.
I am an easy going young working professional. I work in the fitness industry as a health club manager. I am clean, tidy and respectful of others. I am actually a New Zealander and will be coming up two years in Brisbane soon. I enjoy exercise, sport, socializing, gaming and having a drink on the weekend. I'm an easy going guy who can go with the flow... so either have a chat or keep to myself I really don't mind. Get in touch if I sound like a flatmate you would like and i will do my best to respond asap. Look forward to hearing from you.
Moving down to Brisbane to study at UQ and will be working part-time. I'm easy to get along with and often you'll find me couped up in my room watching Netflix. I'm always down for eating nachos and having a cider or two on a night binge watching shows. I like to be organised and have a love for stationary so notepads will be all over the place. Also I'm pretty good at making pasta! If you think I'd be a good fit for a Team Up then send me message, hope to hear from you!
Hey there, I'm a full time Postgrad UQ student. Looking for a flatmate to live with from beginning of January near St lucia/nearby suburbs. I'm an easy going person, quiet and considerate. My partying days are behind me but I do enjoy the occasional weekend wine! I'm cooperating and would love to cook some indian food together sometime! I respect my own space and would be mostly at uni.
My name is Amy, Im 24 years old (soon to be 25) and living on my own in New Farm. I've just been accepted back into Uni in 2017 at UQ and start an intensive course over Nov/Dec this year. I'm a non smoker and my partying days are well behind me. However I do enjoy the occasional weekend wine! I live a pretty active lifestyle so when I'm not at home I'm working, at the gym or at the beach. I have a fully housetrained 8 month old kitten. She's really mellow, generally keeps to herself, but is always up for a good cuddle and loves everyone. I've never had any issues with her being an indoor cat. I'm looking to move before the 14th Nov as my course starts on the 22nd. Im hoping to find someone who wants to team up and sign a new lease together so if this sounds like you, lets team up :)
I am currently doing masters at UQ. I am friendly person and like to meet new people. I am looking to live with a female who is probably working or studying at uni, masters or phd. I need cleanliness always. I cleanup after my work is done. I do not like mess. I would always love to divide the work of cleaning. I would prefer flats or apartments in buildings having nice river view or city view.
Hi, recently moved to Brisbane from Northern NSW to study at Southbank TAFE - Travel & Tourism. I love Brisbane and hope to get a job in the travel industry here. I have a casual job and with my study am kept pretty busy. I am a quiet, clean person, good sense of humor. I love movies, reading, and traveling.
Hi, I'm Stacey, 23 and working full-time in the city. I am pretty quiet to live with and will mostly keep to myself. Looking for something closer to the city. Need to be close to public transport, ideally a train station. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. Not in a hurry to find something but flexible with timing. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
**I'm looking at places that are available in December so please do not message me otherwise** I'm a UQ law graduate who is working full-time. I am easygoing and enjoy some chats from time to time. As I have a busy lifestyle, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer a place with more storage space, preferably a large inbuilt cupboard in my room. I also prefer for the room to be on the ground floor. I play the piano, paint and publish poems occasionally. I used to be a competitive judo player and join trainings in UQ occasionally. Other times, I enjoy yoga and a bit of stretching. I love cats but do not own one. I'm quite allergic so I prefer a place that is quite clean and free from dust. Wrt household chores, I clean as I go. I've lived with housemates who are extremely clean and I adapt well to people with different habits, so long as they are responsible and generally clean. My move-in date is flexible. I prefer to find a stable and long-term accommodation. I'd like to have rental agreements and inspections done according to RTA standards - bond to be lodged with the RTA, inspection checklist to be done upon moving in, etc.
I’m a kiwi looking for a relaxed place with people who are friendly, sociable and keen to chill with a beer after work on occasion. Not looking for a party house. I’m friendly and respectful and get along with most people. I’m relatively tidy and I like things to be pretty clean. I enjoy travelling, gardening (pots or ground) and am happy to live with pets. Looking for somewhere with good transport/walking distance to UQ as I have a research job there. Cheers Daisy
I’m polite, respectful, organised, clean... but especially friendly. I’m a 32 Mexican student, I work part time and the rest of my time I like to rest, party and practice some sports.
Full-time student in my 3rd year at UQ currently studying a Bachelor of Science but wanting to do a Master of Occupational Therapy afterwards. Work part-time in childcare. I'm super clean but still relaxed and easy to get along with. I live for ice cream sandwiches, Game of Thrones and dogs ❤️❤️
Hey guys, My names Steph. I am 20 years old and recently took a year off university but will be starting again in June 2017, continuing with Business and Economics. I'm a very outgoing and friendly person.. I enjoy being outdoors, adventuring in my spare time :) I'm a clean person to live with and will help out with chores. I'm pretty laid back and will be moving up to Brisbane commencing part-time work :)
Hello! I've lived in Brisbane for the last 6 years and am looking for some easy going people to live with. I work full time as a geotechnical engineer and travel fairly frequently for work (away for approximately 2-3 months a year). I'm pretty active and am always doing something but also need a decent amount of quiet time. I'm clean and easy to live with so lets get this show on the road.
Hello there! I'm an international student from Zambia studying Biomed at UQ fulltime. I'm easy going and mostly keep to myself and let you do your thing unless you want to hang out. :) I will be returning home for the summer break and I'm looking for a place to move into next year in time for the first semester. Please let me know what you have, it will be greatly appreciated!
Hi ! I am going to start my Mphil at UQ in January'17, and am looking for a furnished room in a suburb near to campus. I love cooking, being in the outdoors and traveling about, and am a hard working student who loves having a good time with friends and roommates. I am looking for an all-female living unit, and it would be great if they're from UQ too. I would love to give more details about myself to anyone who may find my listing suited to what they want in a roommate. Lastly, I am passionate about astronomy, tea and all things environment friendly, so do get in touch if you share any of these passions too.
Hi, my name is Ichwan, 27, Indonesian. I'm student here and working part time as well, sometimes doing volunteer job. I'm a tidy, clean person but I can adapt with every situation. I mostly out in the weekdays and around at the weekend.
College Captain of Nambour Christian College on the Sunshine Coast looking to move down to Brisbane to study Psychology at UQ. I love basketball, sport in general, movies, video games and spending time with friends. I'm very easy going and get along with everyone.
Hi, we're Kyle, Katey, and Yowley, a couple with a cat. We're currently living in a flat that's far too small for us so we're looking at starting a new sharehouse when our lease is up at the beginning of December. We're not really interested in moving into already established sharehouses. She's working in retail, he's studying creative writing at QUT. The cat doesn't really do all that much to pull his weight, except be cute. This websites' automatic profile picture cropping feature kept centring on Katey's face, but we can assure you that Kyle has a face also. We're a mix of social and independent, up for the occasional party and also enjoy time to ourselves. We'd be great to live with because Katey owns like six doilies and around sixteen rubber ducks, Kyle will fill the house with so many books that if the apocalypse happened we'd never run out of fuel for the fire, and we usually keep the cupboard stocked with a healthy amount of wine. In addition to all that, we think we're pretty funny. So, if you're easygoing and would like to start a lease with us in November, send us a message! ^.^
Hi there! My name's Halimah Miftah, am 27 years old. I am quiet, respectful, polite, honest, punctual, and friendly. I like to maintain a clean environment, so I will do any required weekly chores, and clean up after myself. As I said before, I'm quiet, I usually hole myself up in my room, studying or browsing the internet, so you'll barely know I'm there! I'm currently studying at UQ, doing a Bachelor of Journalism/Arts. I am in my second year, so moving somewhere that is close to UQ is important to me, as completing my degree is a high priority of mine. I'm looking to move out ASAP. Message me if you're interested! I promise you won't regret it!
Hello :) My name is Cindy and I am currently halfway through a 7month backpacking trip around the globe. I am due back in Australia end of January next year where I am enrolled at UQ, St Lucia and will resume my studies. I am looking for a student friendly home to live in close to UQ. Whilst I absolutely love socializing and making/catching up with friends, I am a uni student and will require time to myself for my studies. I do like to drink but only casually (I have long past the want for clubbing and partying, I'm more of a few casual drinks and play some pool type person now). My hobbies include mainly fitness (hiking, Rockclimbing, MMA, gym), and reading. I do not own too much stuff and I consider myself a tidy person. I am approachable and excited to find some friends with a new place to call home. Hit me up if it sounds like I'd be the perfect missing peice to your home :) (and don't hestitate to contact me if you have more questions)
Currently working in 2 cafés however I am going back to university early next year. Easy to get along with, outgoing, clean and social. Enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a long day, relaxing at home and meeting up with friends. Looking for like minded people to live with. Requirements: - pool - awesome flat mate(s) - car park
I am a full time working professional in my mid 20s. I am tidy and respectful of other people's need for privacy. I am quiet and mostly keep to myself, but I do enjoy a chat over wine/cheese/desserts every now and then.
Hey I'm Celest, and I'm looking to join a group of girls in a share house as of Mid/End of January 2017. I love being social, but also enjoy my down time as I study at UQ full time. So for this reason, I'm not looking to join a party house. I would love to join others around my age group/studying students, not full time working professionals! I love cooking and the occasional glass of wine! Would prefer to move in somewhere furnished but also happy to be somewhere not furnished. If we sound like a fit, send me a message!
We're a friendly and outgoing couple but also like our times of solitude as well. Both of us will be studying at UQ (business and medicine) so we'll be at the library quite a lot over the semesters. We like to keep our surroundings tidy and are happy to hang out with our fellow housemates for movies nights, dinners etc. Hoping to find a place by the end of January 2017.
I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'm not looking for a short term stay. Wifi is a must!
I'm Jordan, I'm 18 and currently studying economics at UQ, I work during the week and on weekends and play indoor football once a week so I keep pretty busy. I'm pretty sociable but like to think I'm not too noisy or annoying. Can do all your typical housework duties and enjoy being able to kick back and hang out so if you're into that as well we'll get along pretty well.
I'm working full time and study part time so I'm not around the house much, when I'm home I like to binge-watch tv shows and drink lots of tea. I'm respectful and tidy and keep to myself a fair bit - don't mind chatting over the occasional drink. Would really prefer an ensuite or own bathroom. Looking for some nice people to make a nice place to live :)
