I'm clean, quiet, easygoing...I pay my bills on time and tidy up after myself...Looking to pay around $250 a week and all inclusive prefer to share with one person and unfurnished bedroom...I keep fit...love animals so not a problem if you have them...I work in the Brisbane area...I have been in share accommodation before plus had my own place...I have a job and work full time...I am in the Hospitality business.
Easy going , clean and respectful. I spend most of my time out the of the house either at work (work as a lawyer in the city) or on the coast with friends and family. Looking to share with another likeminded male or female that has similar schedules and habits. I have most of the furnishings and happy to mix and match to kit out a new place.
I am a neat and tidy person who like things to be organized. I am not a smoker and prefer a flatmate who won't smoke, although smoking outside is cool. I am not a party person but would love to grab a beer sometimes. I don't mind pets also. I like binge watching series, reading books, and playing badminton or basketball. I would love to try out surfing and it would be awesome if my flatmate has some idea about it (and teach me). I would prefer a single room in a shared house or apartment with other shared amenities. Looking for something within 150-200 $
Easygoing, clean and organized. Aviation student and working part time. I'm very respectful. I don't smoke nor do drugs, I don't mind a few beers, but definitely do not like being wasted. I like my privacy, but also enjoy a good conversation. I'm interested in an environment that is not very noisy
Hi, my name is Georgia and I am a 22 year old Education Student at Griffith University. I am studying to be a full time high school teacher with 18 months left until graduation. I would like to find a place close to the university that I can call home until I finish my degree. I currently work part time in the city, and am on placement twice in the next six months, I also tutor on the side. I have a partner who I would like to be able to stay some nights during the week, and other times I will stay with him. In my spare time, I like to go and visit friends, go to the beach, find really great coffee, and go hiking. I am not much of a party person.
PLEASE NOTE: Not looking to move until November I am currently working and studying full-time - looking to move closer to the city so it's not such a commute to UQ. I'm always super super busy but when I have down time I love to relax with some Netflix and a few drinks out or at home. I'm not incredibly fussy on who I live with, I just want people that are respectful of each others things and can keep the place clean without nagging. BONUS: I already own communal things like a super large fridge and TV as well as a small dining set and futon.
Hi I’m Bec. I’m 34 years old and am looking for my next home with my 14 year old dog. Non-smoker. I have been at my current home for 5.5 years and unfortunately have to move out as my landlady’s elderly mother needs to move in to be cared for. I do casual temp admin work and also run my own business. I’m quiet and keep to myself and I respect others space. I am looking for a 1 bedroom granny flat to call home With: • Own bathroom • Own kitchen with cooktop and stove • Ceiling fans or air con • Shared or own laundry • Pet friendly with some grass and a 6 foot tall fence • Unfurnished • Close to public transport, specifically train • Utilities included, wifi, electricity, water etc • Preferably inner western suburbs My dog I have a 14 year old black and white Border Collie called Ross. He spends most of his time with me, whether I am outside or inside. He’s friendly and loves people. He gets on well with other dogs although a puppy may be a little too energetic for him at this stage of his life. He’s a happy dog and loves to talk. He struggles with stairs, so if they were gated off that would be a bonus.
Writer. Educator. Currently works full time in the city. Doing postgraduate studies at UQ. I've been living in Brisbane since late 2015. Passionate about lots of things - the creative arts, nature, hiking, music, art galleries, museums, good food, cooking, solitude, spirituality, human rights, social justice, etc. ... Too many interests to list. I am looking for a relaxed and safe environment to call home.
PLEASE NOTE: I’m currently away on rural placement and will be moving to Brisbane in November. I'm happy to find a place during October and slowly move in but you won't see much of me until late November as I'll be back and forth! I'm a post-grad medical student/part time employee looking for accommodation for at least 6 months before starting my final year of uni. I’ll be on placements around Brisbane for the first 6 months of the year then commuting to the Gold Coast on weekdays for the next 3 months, but planning to live and work in Brisbane long term. I'm a bit of a clean freak and reliable. I like to keep fit in my spare time (gym/running/yoga/hiking) and dabble in some photography and culinary adventures (will probably make you food if you let me!). Would love to share my interests with you if you're keen on a mid-week yoga session or the odd weekend day trip. Otherwise I tend to keep myself pretty busy so can keep to myself quite easily if that suits you better. Would prefer to share with like minded students or professionals. Some form of on or off street parking would be ideal as would my own bathroom, but happy to share the latter with 1-2 others if need be. I have my own bedroom furniture which I prefer to use, but can store this if I find the right place. I also have some small kitchen appliances which I am happy to share. Would definitely be interested in finding a place with someone if that works out best. If you have something which might work feel free to give me a buzz!
I am a full-time female Chinese Singaporean student embarking on a 4-year undergraduate studies in UQ. I am introverted and take some time to warm up to others. Coming alone to a foreign country I have never set foot on, I really do hope to make friends here in the Australia:) Wld love to explore the city with someone~ I have literally zero friends here in Australia so hopefully I can find some like-minded friends of any race/gender :D Some things I like to do: go for karaoke(chinese, english, korean songs!!!) , catching movies, listening to music, shopping etc etc
Hi my name's Alana. I'm a receptionist at an accounting firm and dentist living in Melbourne, and currently saving up to move to Queensland! 😊 I love the beach! I enjoy socialising, going out for food, drinks ect. Also enjoy just lazing around at home reading a book.. or listening to music and daydreaming. Really looking forward to the move to qld and hoping to find a full-time OR casual job to support myself.
Hi! I am a quiet but sociable, nature loving, book reading, tea drinking, design student. I like dark British comedy, murder mysteries with a plot, and easy going people. I can cook, and tidy and clean a bathroom, but I hate to take bins out. (Better with dishes) - Looking for chill friendly, maybe arty people :) and a $210pw max room, bills included if I can find it, and the bigger the better as I am a designer + artist and need space, with some window light for my indoor plants and the art :D Looking for a longer term stay somewhere fairly central and more south. Let me know if you think I should be looking at your add! Cheers, Holly
Just moved here from Singapore a couple of months back, and will be staying in Brisbane for 3 years studying Psychology at UQ. I'm looking for teamups to rent a house/apartment. As a flatmate, I'm tidy and respect privacy, but am definitely always up for socialising and having fun! I enjoy watching (binging) tv shows, good food, shopping, sports and the occasional unplanned adventure!
I currently work as a Sales Professional in Toowong and have deferred from uni this year to go and enjoy life regardless! I too am a believer in cleanliness. Am all for meeting new people and going out, but I too also need my quiet time where possible and do respect those who need that as well. For me, most of the time I enjoy exploring around new places and areas and experiencing whatever comes my way! I do love a burger or two, helps sooth the soul!
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you! Note: My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently researching in China but will be back in Brissie from October 15th
Hello, I'm Jiyun from South Korea. Currently I'm a barista and am going to Brisbane on the 12/10 I'm looking for a private room with an ensuit or own bathroom would be preferable, but I don't mind sharing a bathroom with one other person. My moving date is 16/10, but it can be flexible. About myself I have had an experience of a flat/house share in Dublin for 3 months. I'm tidy. Actually I enjoy cleaning my own area. No matter how busy I am in the morning I always make my bed before going to work. I'm basically a quiet person but if you want to hang out with me I'll gladly join you. Also I respect others privacy. Hope I get a message from you! Cheers :) P.s. It's okay if you own a dog or a cat. I like them both and I had a dog 6 years ago.
I am a 26 YO female working full time as a researcher at UQ. My interests: outdoor activities and adventures, fitness, dinner and drinks with friends, music gigs, reading and travel. I’m social and love a good chat, but I’m also very busy and enjoy my own space. I'm tidy, respectful and easy going. I'm looking for housemates who are friendly and love dogs! I have a chihuahua x maltese male dog, 8 YO. He loves outdoor adventures such as walks, hiking and the beach, as well as chilling and getting cuddles. Overall, he is well behaved, toilet trained and just a chill dog. His name is Buddy :)
Hi! I'm Brazilian, 28 yo. I study marketing and work as a waitress. I like to go travel when I can. I like dancing and obviously, I like partying. So, I can be a great roommate and friend to go out with and talk about anything. I like to stay at home too, binge Netflix on my days off while drinking a beer. I'd preferably like to live in a house/apt where my flatmates are friendly and always planning something new to do together.
Good Morning, my Name is Lisa, I'm from France, 24 years old. I'm working full time in West End. I'm clean, quiet and easy going. I like to enjoy my free time with my friends ! I love cook, play video game, watch Netflix. I looking for MY OWN ROOM with king bed. My maximum price per week is $170. I looking for a room from 20 October. thanks you.
I'm a 26-year old accountant based in the city. I lead a pretty busy life between work and keeping fit - mainly through playing AFL and the occasional triathlon. I'm also on my AFL club's committee which can take up a fair amount of time during the season. I'm always up for a friendly chat but also appreciate and respect the need for privacy and your own space. However I also won't say no to a glass of wine or a beer on the weekends.
Just came to Australia for a year out, looking for someone/ people who kinda know the area and can point me to the best places to go, nights out, places to see, whatever really, I’m easy going and up for anything really.
