I'm an enthusiastic physio student at UQ. As a housemate I am respectful, considerate, quiet and clean. I enjoy keeping busy, being outdoors, and having a laugh. I'm looking to move in with some friendly and positive people who like to keep tidy and don't mind a good old glass of vino every now and then
I come from China. I'm a full-time master student at UQ, and major in development practice. I would love to live with someone who is tidy, easygoing, respectful. I love to explore some new place around the city. We could hang out together if we both had time :)
Hey! I'm an Electrical Engineer coming to Brisbane for my Masters Degree from UQ. Extremely friendly guy, easy going, super clean and love to go out and explore the city. Not a party guy sorry but like to hang out with friends and absolutely respect one's privacy. It would be nice to have a gym buddy. I can cook and also love swimming or go out for biking. Looking for flatemates male or female (doesn't matter but max 3) to share a flat or a property somewhere around 270pw all amenities included with separate bathroom and have a pool preferably. It's a new adventure for me so I'd like to live with cheerful & very friendly people so I don't get homesick :D PS: A cat is ok for a pet. I got dog allergy :( and open for team-up esp with students!
I'm an easy going professional working in town who likes to relax and unwind in the evenings over anything from a beer & good conversation to a trip to the gym, an episode of GoT or a good book. I'm clean without being obsessive and understand what tact is, though it might shock my family if they were to ever observe me practice some. I am good at respecting peoples space and generally don't intrude without an invitation. I also come bearing free avocados as I have a small hobby farm outside of town where I spend some weekends.
My name is Rachel, I’m 25 and I work full time. I’m the kind of roommate that’s happy to have a chat but also appreciates a bit of space every now and again. I’m a bit of a homebody but also am someone who loves to go out for dinner and drinks to try something new. I like to keep the place clean and tidy and sometimes like to invite friends over for a drink and a movie.
I’m a 26 years old Brazilian girl studying and working full time as a nanny. I’m pretty easy going, organised and friendly. Have been in Australia for 2,5 years as an Au Pair (nanny who lives with the family), but now I’m looking for my own place to have more privacy and independence. Before coming to Australia, I lived in a share apartment for 5 years and now I’m kinda of missing my having my own space. I would be working most of the time, and when at home, probably just chilling watching Netflix or having a nice chat with flatmates. *** I’m available for moving only from the 19th of January *** No cats or dogs in the house. Unfortunately, I’m extremely allergic to animals fur. If the dog doesn’t loose fur, I’m good though. *** Need parking, but I don’t mind if it is on the street.
I am a mature 28 years old man who is fun responsible and considerate. I have a very well trained golden Labrador that only barks on command. I work as a bartender for a bistro at Indooroopilly, and I am also a language translator. Lets talk and get to lnow me better :).
Perfect Housemate - almost never around! Professional who works away 70% of the time. I work a 10 day on, 4 day off shift and also fly back to the UK, infrequently, so there will be times when I'm away all month. I require a place near the city (on a train route); as on my off days I usually go into the city office, to catch up with the team - so even when I'm back I'm rarely about. I need a base to come back to and therefore require a fully furnished room in a neat, clean, tidy house / flat. I require a spot from the end of January but don't mind paying a % to secure something earlier.
I ALWAYS will pay my share well in advance. I’m clean. I will tell you if there is a problem in due very fair time. If we should have a problem I will take your advices at face value to fix, as requested. I will move out or accept that you must move out if we as a unit have a truly broken problem as a very LAST solution in no haste. I do NOT own a car. I’m looking for a ten minute walk to main shops (kinda like a 4 minute drive). Few minute walk to any bus. 15 km at most from any direction into the city (.75 hour bus ride.) I need at most an hour of social every couple of days a week, that’s just kinda how I kinda operate. I will not lend money for anything no matter the circumstances, nor will I ever ask for money.
Hi, I'm Freya! I'm a friendly and easy-going psychology postgrad student at UQ. I enjoy keeping healthy and I love a good river walk or hike up Mt Coot-tha. I have furniture (washing machine, stainless steel fridge, couch, table, chairs etc.) and I'd love to meet some cool chicks (ideally two others) and team-up to find a place we could move in to together. (P.s the couch is SO GOOD, haha you'll fall in love with it!). I grew up on the Sunshine Coast but I have lived in Brisbane and Vancouver during my undergrad and I've spent some time in the UK and Europe. I love to travel and go on adventures. Also enjoy a good beach day, glass of wine on the balcony and a shared meal from time to time. I am a relaxed house mate who keeps common areas clean and tidy, and I'm quiet at home. I'm flexible on the move date, but I'm looking around mid January. Would love to hear from you if you think you'd like to live together! Freya
We have all lived out of home for a number years, we work all the time we spend very little time at the actual house, we are neat and tidy and very respectful and get along with anyone and everyone. We keep to ourselves and never create tension and understand personal space and respect very well
Hello potential flatmates! I need to move on the 5th of January as my housemates are breaking the lease due to job relocation. I work full-time in the CBD as a Software Engineer Monday-Friday 8-16, except Wednesdays when I do home office. I prefer to commute by bicycle, but a short distance to a train station would be a big plus. I'm not a party-goer, non-smoker, non-drinker and don't listen to loud music, but do chores on time and keep my place clean - expecting the same from you. If you have some dirty dishes in the sink while your reading to this, or you swept the floor three weeks ago last time, please save us both the time as we won't go along, unfortunately :) Thank you! Paying the rent and bills on time goes without saying :) If you go often to the gym or are into counting calories, then we may be an excellent match! I try to bit a little bit environmental conscious too. In my free time, I will mostly stay quietly in my room. However, I do appreciate good conversations and a little bit of banter with smart people. I have my own furniture, no car and no pet. I'm very excited to become a part of a nice house :)
We are all trying to be the best person here, it's easy to find a good flatmate, just be honest with yourself, now your values and keep in mind to revise them since we are constantly changing, time can make an illusion that things are steady but they are actually in constant transformation, just go with the flow, try to not get stuck, peace is always flowing in silence with the wind.
Hi! I am Heidi, a 26 year old female who is relatively new to Brissie! I am working full time, non-smoker, clean and tidy! I like to laugh and have fun, can be social, but I do also enjoy down time and my own space. I have respect for the people I live with and would like the same in return :) I am looking to live somewhere around Auchenflower and also relatively close to the city - anywhere up to the Sherwood area. I would like to share house with like minded people, and who don't mind a chat and a laugh! Please don't hesitate to reach out and contact me!
I’m a quiet and organised person, clean, very responsible, friendly and helpful. I like watching movies, play video games. I love to share stories in a good conversation and Cooking. Most of the time I’m working or studying but in my free time I tried to do outdoor activities or short traveling in my scooter. Actually I’m leaving with two friends in Indooroopilly in a share house during the last 2 years, unfortunately we can’t extend the contract because I will go overseas the next 30/05/18 and one of my house mates is moving to Gold Coast. I’m seeking for a room preferably with its own bathroom.
Reliable, tidy, down to earth and respectful final year law student. Work part time and study fulltime. Have a small dog who follows me around and is extremely well trained and behaved. I cook and clean like a demon and am a quiet roommate/tenant. Born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa but living in brisbane since 2010.
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
My name is Georgia and I am an international relations and Journalism student at UQ. I'm a pretty social person, but i also appreciate personal space. I am tidy, and would respect the property. I would love to move in with a group of like-minded and fun people!
I am looking for a room with own or shared bathroom and to share the place with a female. I work full time in the city so need a place close to public transport preferably a Train station. Not too pet-friendly. I like to socialise but enjoy my own space when I am home, not a completely non-social person though :D. Definitely not a party person but could have a friend or two over sometimes (not too often). Quite laidback yet I believe one should clean after himself as would I. Also, I am not looking for a short stay to cover for someone going on holidays. :D Look forward to hearing from you. :)
Easy to get along with, respectful of my other housemates. Don't drink alot. I usually keep a tv in my bedroom for netflix and playstation but I always contect to my wireless headphones so I wont make much noise. I cook and clean up my mess. Wanting a sharehouse with losts of freezer space as I cook most nights and hate grocery shopping. Currently unemployed and on the dole looking for work.
Arriving 1/31! I'm a 24 year old American MS graduate (Bioinformatics!) coming to UQ for research and starting up a PhD in July (hopefully). Quiet and neat (no parties here!), but otherwise quite friendly and love a good chat or politicking. Hobbies include a bit of gaming (PC -- sorry, big nerd!) and weightlifting, with occasional fun stuff like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and yoga. Live a healthy and studious lifestyle, and love new culture and odd food. I intend to take public transit to campus at least a while (so close to campus, and close to a stop!), and would prefer properties with four people or fewer. I'm basically looking for a place to live in the moment I arrive, but I'm pretty trusting and as such don't expect a tour before signing a lease. I don't drink or smoke, and particularly like university and/or STEM types. Timezone is currently PST, prefer messaging initially. Again, I am not available to physically inspect properties. Also open to short-term stays when I initially come to Australia as I suppose I can base off when I'm looking for a long-term option.
