I'm a 30 yo female, full time employed, tidy, sane and down for a yarn. I'm partial to a couple of beers or sometimes just like to blob out and watch some flicks. I'm laid back and easy to get along with.
I’m 21 from Townsville and moving down to Brisbane for uni. I’m a pretty bubbly person and can get along with pretty much everybody. I like to keep things clean and tidy. I’m pretty flexible on most things room/ bathroom/rent/ location ect. I also have a small cat that I would like to bring with me but am able to leave her here if I need to. I work part time at Woolworths and am transferring down there from the 1st of February so moving around that time but again pretty flexible on that.
Hi, I am a masters student from India starting at UQ in Feb 2019. Personally, I am usually quiet, tidy, friendly, and like having my own space. I have lived away from home in Hong Kong before, so I am familiar with shared spaces and I enjoy conversation with people from all over the world. I usually like catching up with TV shows, reading, or hanging out with friends over my free time.
Hey :) I'm a clinical psychologist in training, moving up to Brisbane soon to start my Masters at UQ. I'm a chilled Christian girl from Sydney and am looking for a home with likeminded housemates who are big on building community. In my spare time I love painting, having a wine, spending time in nature, and adventures! *At this point I am planning to move up in early Feb, but can be flexible and move earlier for the right place!
I study a Bachelor of Education at UQ, as well as work 2 casual jobs in the city, so I'm normally running around and busy during the week! I've lived in Brisbane for 2 years and moved here to study, lived out of home since I was 18 so know how to take care of myself and the home I'm sharing, and love a clean house. Always open for a chat with the housemates and to do stuff together when we're free! On the weekend I love adventuring and heading straight to the beach or catching up with friends. I'm looking for a place with similar aged people that are friendly, clean and sociable, but also appreciates a bit of down time during the week as well.
I am a Ph. D candidate at UQ studying landscape evolution, past climate and other fun environmental things. I am pretty active. I grew up in the Appalachians and I have been spending the last 4 years living in the Rockies so I am an avid backpacker, hiker, runner, and fisherman. When I am relaxing, I am usually watching sports, reading, listing to music, and/or hammocking....also enjoy going out for drinks or just relaxing at home. I’m a very clean person and I spend most of my time at the university..
Both of us are originally South African, having moved to Australia 12 years ago. I'm working full time in professional services for a firm in South Brisbane and my partner is studying Engineering full-time at Griffith (Nathan campus). When we're not working or studying, you'll find us gardening (okay, you'll just find Daniella here), building things (Marten), playing music, enjoying a cuppa (or a sneaky wine), hiking, swimming or exploring.
Full-time student at UQ, ideally looking to find a room close to campus to make those early mornings a bit more bearable! Outside of class I work part-time as a research assistant and run an engineering project, as a result, I spend the vast majority of my time on campus. However, on my nights at home or on the weekend, I could definitely be persuaded to watch a movie or have a glass of wine. I really value cleanliness and am not after a party house, but do like to be able to socially interact with my housemates. Ideally, I'd like to find a long-term room with a 12-month minimum lease. I have my own bed & desk, and will be bringing those with me! Feel free to ask me any questions :)!
I am a student attending South Bank TAFE starting in late January and currently working as a retail assistant in Ipswich, so being close (walking distance) to a bus stop or train station is a necessity. I'm moving by myself with my cat, Juliette, who is nearly 2 years old. She is desexed, an indoor cat, and non-destructive. She is very shy and afraid of most people, but not at all violent. She will stay well out of your business and her food and kitty litter will be kept in my room. I attend karate biweekly in Redbank and cosplay conventions about 2-4 times a year. These are also my main two hobbies. I am an extremely friendly and easy to talk to person, always excited and open to meeting new people. I am a good cook, fairly quiet not interested in throwing parties or anything like that and extremely clean. I look forward to getting to know you.
Hey! My name is Liam and I am going to be looking for somewhere to live as my family will be moving back overseas shortly. I am currently in my fifth year of Law/Journalism at QUT and I work at the international airport. I like to keep fit, and cook a mean feed :P I am pretty relaxed, easy going, clean and tidy and quite hard working. I speak english and french and am looking to live somewhere that has a fun but chill vibe. I mostly work nights and study quite a bit... so I am a bit nocturnal. I love to have a good time, but also enjoy my privacy and sleep. I am really reliable and really friendly and caring. So if you'd like a smiley, fun, caring housemate ~ hit me up! :) Liam
Hi there. I am looking for a new home to start off the year right! I am working full time in the city. I am very respectful and easy going. I am not a party animal however I don't mind living with one as I'm pretty relaxed. I love cooking so I don't mind whipping up a dinner here and there. I am looking to be in a new place early Jan.
Please note that I won't be able to move before 20th January 2019 and I'm only free for viewings from 12th January 2019. I’m coming to Brisbane to study for 2 years and would like to find a nice home to live in. I’m from the UK and will be taking a break from my 12 year career in technology to study at a college in the CBD. I’ve lived on my own before and also own a house in the UK, so I know what it takes to look after a home. I’m not after a party house and prefer something a bit quieter. I'm hoping for a social house that respects quiet time on school nights;) I clean up after myself in common areas and keep my mess in my room. I like to get out in nature during my spare time and hope to do a little bit of travelling too. Sometimes, I may prefer to just chill out at home. Once I have found suitable accommodation to settle in to, I will get some part time office work to help pay the bills. A good functional kitchen is a must, a shared living area would also be ideal and perhaps a garden but the garden isn't essential. Good access to transport links is a must as I won’t have a car of my own. I’ll need access to the internet to enable me to do some home study. I am open to other areas not listed in my profile, the ones I’ve listed are just a few I’m familiar with. Preferably no further than fare zone 2 on the train network. Get in touch! Please only contact me via Flatmates in the first instance. I tend not to respond to unknown messages on my mobile. Thank you.
I'm a coming up second year student at UQ who also works part-time at Nandos in Woolloongabba. I'm back home in Tassie for holidays at the moment but I'll be back in Brisbane by the 20th of January when my lease at my current place runs out. I'm pretty chill and love a good netflix binge session, but I also really enjoy having a good time and adventuring whenever possible. I absolutely love the beach, music, art and most sports (especially jiu jitsu and other martial arts). I'm friendly, responsible, tidy and clean, though my room may occasionally exhibit some organised mess :) I'm looking for a nice place to live, preferably with separate rooms, not too expensive and one or two other girls who hopefully have a good sense of humour and who'd be happy to make a new friend.
Student at UQ (4th year), looking for a nice place to stay for next year (either half way or til ~December), people own age and stuff etc :) And furnished would be ideal Love a chat, and chill positive vibes :)
I'll be studying Speech Pathology at UQ. I'm looking to move in mid Jan What I'm looking for: - Ideally, I'd like to team up and find a new place - Maybe 2-3 roommates max - Somewhere very close to UQ St. Lucia, 3-5 min walk away is best - My own bedroom and my own toilet (not mandatory ahaha) - I want a home I can consider staying long term, and for that I'd need great roommates so I hope I can find good people here :) Some things about me: - I'd like to think of myself as both an outgoing and easygoing person 🤗 - Definitely not one to cause a mess and appreciates silence (to study), cleanliness and nice décor (ahahahoops) - I'm quite picky about cleanliness and absolutely refuse to clean up other people's trash so I'd appreciate a roommate who will do the same - I'd definitely be open to hang out during weekends and free time haha - I use the kitchen almost everyday, and always clean up right after. - I'm a bit of an introvert though so I appreciate alone time too - I enjoy music and arts. I'm a bit of an old soul sometimes, I love rnb and jazz - I occasionally am open to outdoor activities too, would love to hang out and bake or cook together! - I'm from Singapore :)
I’m a clean guy that likes to socialise but also likes my alone time. I’m looking for a bedroom to rent short term but if it works out I would be keen to stick around. I have furniture of my own but I could put it in storage if the place is already furnished. If you think I could be suitable send me a message and I can give you more details about myself
Hi everyone! I just recently moved to Brisbane from Canada to pursue my Masters of Counselling at the University of Queensland and I am looking for somewhere to stay starting in February with some awesome flatmates! I am very clean, respectful, and friendly. I'm hoping to live with others whom are down for a chat, movie nights, or drinks on nights off!
Hi All, I am an easy going working professional who studies at QUT and works full-time at one of the accounting firms in the city. I am quiet social and love to hangout for a beer or two(obviously on the weekends).I am a non smoker but don't mind if someone else does. I usually prefer being organised on weekends to get going during the weekdays, i am good for daily chores and love a clean and hygienic place.
Full-time QUT student working part-time. I'm a respectful and tidy person with sharehouse experience looking to find a place with sociable housemates and a friendly atmosphere. I’m a lover of wine, music and dancing.
I'm a pretty cool science nerd and will be a student at UQ in Feb 2019. I'm looking for an affordable place to stay. I'll be spending most of my time at school therefore I'm quite flexible with the living conditions.
Hi, I'm Steven, I'm a male, 36 years old, double degree holder with entrepreneurial ambitions, working on my web-development portfolio, and working casually as a gardener. I thrive in a sharehouse environment because I am always pleasant, have a quirky sense humor, and I am respectful of peoples’ boundaries. I am searching for a place with friendly housemates, reliable Wi-Fi, and public transport access to Kenmore, the Cty, and Gold Coast. Bonus points if there is a comfortable outdoor smoking area. I had arrangements to move elsewhere but they fell through, so I am looking for a place asap, preferably for long term (6+ months). I can get a bond loan, if I am going on the lease, otherwise I will find it difficult to pay the full bond upfront. Let me know if there’s a way I can make it work!
