Hi, I’m Mikey. I’ve just moved over from Western Australia to finish my nursing degree at UQ. Looking for either a sharehouse or to team up with some other people at a fresh property. Looking for something long term 1-2 years. I’m currently staying a family friends house in west end for the next couple of weeks, so I’d like to get moved in sooner rather than later. I’m easy going, tidy and I don’t smoke or drink/take drugs. Looking for somewhere I can study and hang out. Ideally with some other mature students, 25+ year olds. I would prefer some place furnished as I don’t have any furniture. That’s my budget, I can probably afford a little more if it includes bills, internet etc. Somewhere close to UQ would suit me best as I would prefer not to have to use my car all the time. Once things are up and running I’ll be working part time in the health/aged care sector. I exercise, play guitar and when my body is behaving itself, play ice hockey in my free time. Thanks!
Hey there, I'm currently studying at UQ while working part-time and am looking to move in with a bunch of friendly 20-somethings around the end of January/beginning of February. Very easy to live with! I'm a clean and tidy type of person. I also love to bake - so if you like brownies you're in for a treat!
Hey I'm Sam and don't worry the dog isn't coming with me. I'm 25 yrs old, have lived in rentals, shared houses and student accommodation never had a problem with rent. Have done studying and full time work now looking into either more study or employment. Clean and courteous with other housemates. Communication is what makes or breaks a household. If you're my housemate I've got your back that's just how it is. Pretty laid back, meeting new people and new points of view on life is always cool. Being an introvert or extrovert is understandable and empathised. I'm from north Queensland. Travelled a bit sitting on 6/7 (Eventually I'll get to Antarctica) Have worked as an office worker to a shearer so have some experience and understanding of the workforce. For fun I enjoy hanging out, playing some sport or going for a ride down a mountain. Also enjoy playing a game or watching something.
Hi guys, I’m looking for a room to rent in a share house while studying at UQ. Preferably furnished and with other female tenants. I’m really tidy and will spend most of my time either studying or working. Thanks!
I'm a 3rd Year engineering student at QUT with a small part time job on the side. I mostly work and study during the weeks but I like to hang out and adventure on the weekends, trying out new bars, and recently started getting into sport. I clean up after myself, and I am considerate of noise and of other peoples spaces.
Gday, I am a sporty fellow who loves a bit of cooking and gaming. I am fairly quiet and respect others space. I work casually at toowong village and would love to move into a house with preferably other guys around that area.
Hi I'm Sakoon. I currently studying at UQ. I'm super down to earth and approachable who loves good chats and a bit of banter. I enjoy having a beer with everyone but will usually be studying hard/working during semester time. Hoping to find someone to become good friends with.
I work remotely as a full time project manager for a start up, so I have a stable income and I can be around during the day to receive your packages and grocery deliveries so you don't have to visit the post office or Coles. I have recently returned to Brisbane after living overseas in Cambodia, Nepal and Kenya for several years so I have many entertaining stories to tell. I'm house trained and I make a delicious hedgehog slice. My hobbies include boozy brunches, free concerts and sitting under a tree and reading.
From Sweden, in Brisbane for my MSc thesis project at UQ until the end of May. I'm outgoing, easy to live with and probably going to spend a lot of time at the lab at UQ anyway (: Looking for a place to stay asap. Happy to answer questions about myself. Cheers!
Hey! We are two girls studying Journalism at UQ and are trying to either team up or move into a property with two spare rooms! Looking at moving asap and would ideally like to share with another girl!! More than happy to chat about all options!!!
I'm an easy going person. I have a son but he lives with his dad in NZ. I'm looking to meet some nice people and just have my own space again minimum 6months. I love to cook and relax. I work a lot and I'm trying to go to the gym more so I'm not around too much so when I am -I'm pretty quiet.. Not saying I can't have a good laugh...
Hi, i work full time for the Government, im really easy to get along with i clean up after myself, i keep active and fit. i am looking at the end of February to move out. could move sooner depending on the place. Non smoker anything else just flick us a text..
Hi there, my name is Sabrina and I’m a 23-year-old German student. I’ll move to Brisbane in February to study architecture at the UQ for two semesters. I am a really easy-going person and I love to meet new people. I am clean and tidy, respectful, reliable and open-minded. I also enjoy cooking, the beach, good weather, horse riding and quality time with my friends.
Recent graduate from UQ and looking for a full time position while currently working 2 part time jobs. Pretty easy going, chilled guy who enjoys having a few beers and going out. Happy to hangout and have a few drinks with flatmates throughout the week and weekend but also appreciate my own space. Looking for some fun, friendly, outgoing flatmates who keep reasonably tidy and clean. Thanks :)
Hey, so I'm currently looking for an upgrade to my current living arrangements, namely something that isn't on the top of a hill and somewhere that is easier to get around, you know, somewhere flat, or somewhere that isn't on a hill. Don't get me wrong, I love hills, I just don't want to live on one. I come pre furnished, I even have a TV and an Xbox, a real veritable assortment of accessories such as kitchenware, tools, even a workbench. When I'm not procrastinating my existence away, I'm either at UQ, my job which is a waiter at a steakhouse, or scraping together what I have left of a social life into something mentally productive. With that said, I'm really looking for a more cohesive, homely place to live, if you have parties or gatherings or do movie nights or just talk a bunch of nonsense I'm down completely, I mean obviously in moderation, but also I'm not against being social. I'm also super into Photography, so if you have longings for film equipment or just want to learn, I'm definitely interested. In regards to teaming up, it isn't something I'm against, but at the same time I'm not really in the business of owning stuff, so it would have to be something where I'm just filling a room.
Although I am 18 (turning 19 in May), I am quite independent and like to keep everything very clean. I like to think that I'm quite quirky, I love music and am outgoing. At home I'm very laid back and usually spend my time in my room, but will still socialise if I see someone. I'm looking for a room to stay at while I study at UQ and work part time. I have been brought up in Perth and am living here up until the end of January, so I may be a bit of a busy-bot for the first few months of living in Brisbane, as I love discovering new places and seeing new things. I have one female cat named Millie (3 yrs old), she is an indoor-only DSH grey tabby and is quite a sweet little thing. Although she likes to do her own thing most of the time (sleep), she is very well behaved, has never scratched the carpet, has never done her business anywhere besides her own toilet and is no where near a demanding cat, so she will be completely hassle free! :) If you have a room that would suit the both of us (preferably spacious as I will have Millie's scratching pole, bed, enclosed toilet and off ground food bowls to go in) available towards the end of January 2018, please hit me up with a message! Can promise you I (and cat) will be one of the best house/share mates you've ever had!
Full time student at the University Of Queensland. Looking to move out of home for the first time. I like to think that I'm friendly and tidy. I keep to myself but am always keen for a good chat and wine :)
Macquarie and I are looking for a room to share in the Indooroopilly & surrounding areas. Macquarie is a music teacher and I am a beauty Therapist. We are a quiet but friendly couple, always up for a drink and a chat but also enjoy our privacy and will respect yours. We are neat and tidy & always keep common areas clean.
Looking for a place to move out for the first time as i still live at home, would enjoy the experience of living with myself. About me: From Brazil, lived in Australia for almost 10 years now. I am a very organised and clean person, don't like to get into conflicts. I can sleep through everything, noisy house holds are no problems for me. I currently work at The Bagel Boys, both factory and stores, could always get some bagels for the house hold! Enjoy spending time alone, so ill spend most of the time inside of the room. Very open person to talk to, if you have any problems at all i am whiling to work on them! Hope to see you soon!
Hi potential roomie I am a laid back easy going lad. Enjoy having a drink, music and a chat. I clean after myself and respect other people's space and time. Looking for respectful housemates who are also interested in being social. If this sounds like you, send me a message.
Hi, I'm Lisa, I am clean, tidy and sociable. I will be moving to Brisbane in July. I am looking to rent a bedroom in a house share or going flat/house hunting with like-minded people :) I am a student, very open-minded and up for anything! I like to go out and explore, I love to cook or go out for dinner or drinks.
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
