Maria Mora

Hi! I’m Maria, I’m 29 and currently in my second year of a PhD at UQ. I’m originally from Ecuador and moved to Brisbane to complete my studies.

I spend most weekdays at uni and usually fit in a few gym sessions during the week. On weekends, I enjoy exploring around Brisbane, staying in and binge-watching movies and series, and occasionally going out dancing. I speak Spanish and love cooking traditional Ecuadorian dishes (which you’re very welcome to try!) as well as baking.

I’ve been living abroad since I was 18, so I’m very used to sharing a home with others. I value a clean, respectful, and relaxed living environment, ideally with housemates who are open to becoming friends. I enjoy chatting or sharing a meal together, but I’m also very mindful of personal space and quiet time.
