I am a friendly, outgoing, openminded and easygoing girl at 25. I will be a full time student at UTAS on a study abroad semester in Hobart. I am currently studying a masters degree in biology and have come to Tasmania to learn about conservation and biodiversity. I am tidy and think teamwork is essential when having a flatmate. I Copenhagen (my hometown) I have had flatmates throughout my entire time as a uniersity student and find the combination of being social, but still having the opportunity of privacy, a perfect combination for me. I love coffee and making good food, new experiences and friends. I love animals and spending time outside as well as baking or reading a good book on a cold cloudy day! I am a non-smoker Best regards Sabine
I'm a graduate student in geology from Canada coming to Hobart for a month (this July) to do lab work at U Tas. I'll probably be pretty busy but I'm hoping I'll still have time to experience Hobart and the surroundings since this will be my first time in Australia. I'm quiet and tidy, and I don't have pets but I'm ok with living with people that do.
I'm Hemy(Yi-Ting Wu), a 27-year-old girl from Taiwan. I'm going to Tasmania for working holiday. I worked in a travel agency as a director of Ticketing sector, and I'm also a tour leader. The reason I go on working holiday is that I've dreamt to live abroad for a long time. I need to discover more! I choose Tasmania because it's a super beautiful place full of nature, and I'm really excited to see aurora there too. - To be a friend, I'm a bit shy at the beginning (or you can say I'm being polite), but actually I'm easy going and outgoing, my friends think I'm funny and I smile/laugh a lot. - To be a housemate, I'm tidy, helpful, considerate and respectful. Hope you'll like me! :D - I hope I can find a good job and stay at the same place to discover more about this city. Therefore, I'll probably stay longer if it is possible. I'll arrive at Hobart on June 1st. I need to stay at the CBD for the beginning few days. Then I can move in my ideal house/flat as soon as possible(depends on the available date of the room). I can't wait to meet my new life there!!! Please feel free to ask if you need more information about me.
I currently live in Sydney with my family and studying a Bachelor of Visual arts in Sydney. Would love to spend my summer in Tassie where I've got some great friends already. I'm in a band, and I love the company of good mates. I teach recorder to a class of 8yr olds. I'm a Christian and enjoy time at church and fellowship, and leading youth group.
I love adventures and late night talks. I am a german psychology student and will stay in Australia to study one semester abroad. Apart from reading (peoples mind) I enjoy being in the nature, swimming, eating and have a desire to wander. All in all I would say I am down-to-earth and cheerful.
hey I love tea and wine nights, also enjoy going out on adventures. I'm a full-time student @ utas and work 4/5 times a week. I'm also a lot more interesting than my bio :-)
We are a Sri lankan couple. I will be starting my postgraduate at UTAS on July 2017 and my husband accompanies me. We are easy going, quiet, tidy, respectful and sociable. We are looking for nice flatmates with whom can enjoy a good chat. We like sports, do exercise and watch tv on weekends.
Hello. We're two girls searching for a room we can share in a sharehouse. Our budget is $250/week. The room has to be big enough for a double bed, and one ore two dressers. Also it may be located in the CBD or close. If you have what we are looking for, and you want to get to know two awesome danish vikings don't hesitate to send us a message. We're both going to study a master at University of Tasmania. Looking forward to hear from you. Signe & Anna-Sofie
I am a student from Texas who is studying abroad at UTAS from the beginning of July to mid November. I grew up in Houston and study Environmental Science (focusing in Geology) at the University of Texas in Austin. I love the outdoors, sports, festivals, and exploring. I am on the rock climbing team at UT, so I plan on climbing outdoors a lot while in Tasmania. I am super excited and cannot wait to be in Hobart! I am clean, quiet, and always determined to become friends with whomever I room with. A furnished place is necessary, and I do not care if there are pets or not. Since I will be attending university, a place near a bus/metro station is preferable.
I am a Canadian student studying medicine in Ireland, and will be undertaking a 10-week placement at the Royal Hobart Hospital from mid-Nov to mid-Jan. Since 2010, I've lived with several housemates; and, in 2015 (until present), I've moved to Ireland and am also living with several flatmates. I get along really well with all my housemates and we're really great friends. I am pretty easy-going and I clean up after myself. I'm into sports, travelling, and winding down after a long day with a good bit of banter over some drinks.
