Im a muso, enjoy meeting new people going out to gigs and having a good time up for a laugh as well as down time to myself.
23 y.o. beer, live music and Richmond Tigers enthusiast, I'm returning to Uni in 2017 after what I like to call a 3 year gap year. I hate the thought of living in a house of room hermits and want to find some like minded housemates who don't mind each others company and are keen to partake in activities together (pub excursions, gigs, adventures, etc.) but also don't mind some down time after a long day slaving away for the man.
I'm a self sufficent person enjoying both company and alone time. I'm sensitive to the needs of others in a shared environment. I am clean and responsible. I am into a healthy living and lifestyle. I'm a Teacher and an artist. I love walking in Nature, going to the movies, catching up with friends, gardening, yoga and meditation.
I work Part-time as a Gardener. I'm well mannered, tidy, reliable, quiet, easy going, can cook, family orientated.. what i do for fun? cruising to car meets and places, love to socialize and chill out on my pc, i have lived independently for almost 3 years, so i pay rent/bills on time, love dining out, like to watch movies, hang out with mates, I will respect each others space. I have a pc,desk, huge TV,bed, sofa ...all i need is a fridge, washing machine. Feel free to contact me :)
We're fun and sociable, but respectful and responsible too! We're moving to Melbourne to broaden our career-based horizons, and just need somewhere to stay for a few months whilst we find long-term employment and our own rental accommodation. Jamie: animal lover and foodie. Will be studying at La Trobe University, and hopefully working part-time, all while pursuing a career in the animal care industry. I make a mean pizza too! Jack: recent media/international studies graduate, and up-and-coming media personality (radio and TV hosting).
I am working full time early mornings, I am clean, courteous and respectful of other people and their belongings. I have a 10yr old son who stays with me every second fortnight. I am also a teacher of martial arts.
I'm a 29 year old composer/musician/filmmaker from New Zealand. I work 4 days in a music shop, and spend my other days out and about, working on projects with other writers/illustrators/songwriters. I'm clean, tidy, relaxed, and a good communicator with a love for swimming, reading, health/nutrition, having conversations about philosophy/psychology and just generally learning about the world. I often like to cook with/for friends, and having the odd sing/jam with musicians, but I'm also very respectful with regards to my music-making - it's mostly acoustic stuff or choral. I'm looking for a long term home and am flexible with move-in date. If you reckon I might be a good fit feel free to send me a message :)
a single fun girl who is looking for a house share, I work full time in child care and am tidy and respectful. I am allergic to cats but have no issues with dogs. I like all the usual things that people like hahah but looking for respectful people to share with :)flexible to share with girls or guys and girls , as long as we all get along :)
Hey , I am from California, 31 years young, and been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Looking for a friendly warm home with chilled wonderful people. I am into the outdoors, music, rock climbing, surfing and camping and the odd festival. The following would be some good indicators we would be a good match: - Flatmates that hang out a bit at home or outside on occasion - Kitchen is full of delicious smells and occasional dinner gatherings (I once opened an Outback Steakhouse in the middle of the desert, opened from 4am-7am serving sous-vide roo sliders) - House is not full of couch potatoes in front of the TV - Clean house with uncluttered common areas I design user experiences in health technology and have no problems paying rent on time and helping with any tech needs. In my free time I practice acupuncture/massage and design brass jewelry. Warm Regards Eric
Hey there! I'am a tidy and quiet person. I like beeing social but also enjoy time on my own. Its important to me to keep areas we share clean and tidy. Also its important to me to drink a beer with my house mates from time to time :)
Hi, I am looking for a share house with friendly people as I need a new place to live from January on. I am working full time at a University in IT and like spending my spare time with friends and playing sports but also like to have a good chat with my flatmates. Beside of that I'm a clean, tidy and easy going person. The preferred length of stay is flexible, I am happy to discuss longer or shorter, the move in date is also not fixed, basically looking to move in January. I have a lovely miniature schnauzer together with my ex-partner so I would welcome the option to have the dog living with me full or part time.
Hi! I work casually in retail and full time as a model with a top agency. I'm currently living with the parentals and would love to break free! I currently live on the Mornington Peninsula but my whole life is basically up in the city and therefore I'd like to be close to the city :) I'm a fun person who would love to have pizza and wine nights, self-diagnosed coffee addict, I'm a respectful smoker, would love to live with someone who is easy-going like myself, lgbt+ & 420 friendly, and just an all around cool dude. Happy to set something up in regards to starting a share house or joining an existing one! Thanks :) Demi
Hi, my name is Lauren and I currently study Naturopathy full-time at Endeavour College. I am very passionate about my studies and my interests outside of study include cooking, bushwalking/hiking (and any variant of outdoor exploring activities), making my own natural herbal remedies and socialising! I am originally from Sydney and made the move to Melbourne early February 2016 to start a new chapter of my life and complete my degree. I believe that I am a very considerate flatmate. I am not new to share-housing and I always clean up after myself and am very considerate of other flatmates. I really look forward to meeting anyone who is interested in living with me!
I am a reasonably clean person. I am a person who can be approached easily. I consider myself open minded, so I'm sure I will not hold anything against you if that is what you believe in and stand for. Like any girl, I love shopping and food! I love the beach as well and I also try to stay fit by doing some sort of exercise. I am from Vanuatu, which is a country in the Pacific made up of a chain of small coastal Islands. I was born in Port-Vila, the capital. So, generally we all have really nice clean houses because it is a part of our upbringing. And when you go to other peoples houses to eat or something, you're usually expected to clean up without even being asked! This is a sign of appreciation and a way of saying thank you. I moved over to Australia in 2015 and it has been wonderful so far. I have learnt a lot of things just by living here, and i know that if i had not moved here I wouldn't have been able to learn the things I know now. I am currently in Brisbane but will be moving to Melbourne in less than two weeks. I want to experience Melbourne and see what it has to offer. I will be looking for work there asap! Please message me if you think I will be a suitable flatmate and you are happy to share a place with me, lets team up. Thanks :)
Hi, I'm Emmilee! I'm currently a student and next year I'll be studying social work at RMIT in the city. I also currently work part time. I'm looking for a room in a sharehouse that isn't too far from the city as I'll be travelling there quite often for Uni. I also need a room with an ensuite as I like my privacy quite a bit. My max budget is $200 but will go to $220 including bills. I'm very clean and tidy and roommates that are also clean and tidy is a must for me. I'm not very loud, and I tend to stick to myself most of the time.
I am looking for a place that is furnished, short term with an option to extend. I have returned to Australia to try to finish a writing project about Melbourne amongst other things. I would preferably like a one bed or studio but i am open to sharing with the right people, i dont mind a drink and a laugh but i am here to finish the book first and foremost. I have been in Melbourne on and off for over a decade, I am from the UK and I have a scouse (Liverpool) accent, you will get used to it or we can communicate in hand gestures and interpretive dance. all the best Mark
I'm Canadian on a working holiday visa in Australia for a year! I love being busy so truthfully, I won't be home too much. And when I'm home, I'm usually sleeping, listening to music, or watching Netflix! I love music and work in the industry, so shows and concerts is where I'm usually at! Living with me would be easy-- I'm nice, clean and fun, but also laid back at the same time!
We're a young professional couple with two dogs. We're looking for someone who's interested in saving money or getting debt free to help us do the same and the long term team/friendship that comes with it. We have good taste in music, food and people, but I guess everyone thinks that they do... We moved to Melbourne in October and want to team up to get a nice place as close to the city as possible for the best price possible - with a yard for the dogs (Tell him he's dreamin'). Steve: A Canadian Engineer working in Southbank and master of the meme, Steve's pretty stereotypical Canada in a lot of ways. He's an outdoorsman and fly-fisherman that does engineering as a necessity to fund his addiction to chasing fish. Also an aspiring ninja that hasn't reconciled the fact that his luminary childhood dreams of world domination will most likely never come to fruition. Sometimes prone to write SJW stuff online. Mic: Mic is an Australian that works in retail management for a national chocolatier. She's keen on live music, animals (her Facebook feed is literally about 75% raccoons, dogs and otters), a major foodie and Beatles fan. If you don't understand or empathise with the plight of women in the modern world, swipe left - or whatever you do on Flatmates... Mana and Mocha: Mana is a 4 year old brindle staffy X who has mastered the art of the guilt trip. Having easily the most expressive dog's face you'll ever see, she likes to lounge around or run around or do anything fun really. Her favourite place to be is snuggled with someone - or the park, or... y'know what? She just likes to be Mana, wherever that is. She does fart a bit, though. Mocha is a 4 year old tan kelpie with OCD. Whilst waiting for her food or begging for yours, she can be easily fooled into chasing a ball instead, which can then be used to your advantage to eat in peace or get her to go outside, etc. She's a snuggle magnet with a turkey neck. Great for winters in front of Netflix, but sometimes she gives you this really judgmental look, like "What are you doing with your life? Stop watching Mad Men and go outside for a bit." *Disclaimer* Not to be political, but we're left leaning tolerant people that don't subscribe to bullshit norms and get pissed off by cruelty to animals, which means that you can complain to us about your problems and get support to chase your dreams, but we won't clean up your shit or entertain revisionist bullshit that puts Tony Abbott on a pedestal. Hate isn't welcome in our lives. If you don't genuinely like dogs, it won't work - guaranteed. Oh, and Sunday morning is for homemade pancakes. It's a ritual. Sometimes I'll make crepes instead of pancakes, but it's usually pancakes with homemade mascarpone and some sort of fruit or chocolate sauce we've made. I can always make more to feed the house.
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female/s, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need slightly larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
I am a friendly, hardworking 26 year old Female looking for a room to rent, a pool would be nice too! Haha. Preferably with people around my age bracket, and with people who will understand that I have an active social life (I work all different shift days/times, am out a lot with friends, at the gym etc). Would prefer to just have one housemate. Love sports, horror films, cooking, 80's tunes, going to the gym, beer lol. Am a clean housemate, who is considerate and motivated. If you want to know more please feel free to contact me and I would be happy to answer any queries :)
I am a fun loving and easy to get along. Moving to Melbourne in January on a PR Visa and hence will be looking to make new friends who can help me ease into the whole Aussie culture and help me grow into my new life. I don't booze or smoke and the kinda person who believes in minding his own business.

Hi everyone! Sadly my lease is ending and i need to find a new home and new housemates by the 10th December! I am 22, work full time at a hospital and obviously, pretty terrible at about me's. I've rewritten this whole thing 4 times but my internet keeps crashing, so i am going to give up. Until i find some more energy to write this again. I like going for walks and i really like puppies. I also like good conversations but i am asleep most of the time unless it's festival time. On top with rent/bills/cleaning i promise. Message me!!!!
Hey team So I've been living the dream over in Canada for the past two years. Doing a bunch of cool things like skiing, horse riding, travelling around, drinking etc etc. I'm studying Youth Work full time next year at RMIT so looking for somewhere to rest my head every night. I will most likely be working as well cause I'll need to afford life. I haven't got a job yet- but I'm not worried About that just yet- I'm a decent waitress so the right job will probably present itself. I'm 25 (26 in Jan 😫) I've been waitressing, travelling and ski instructing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative and chill vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I'm actually from Coffs Harbour and not looking at moving down until January some time (pretty flexi) but thought I'd get the word out and see if something might present itself. I will fly back down early/mid Jan to have a look at places and meet people if that suits as well. I have references as well if my blurb didn't satisfy you at all!!! Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee
Hai future flatmates, Am easy going and adaptable to any kind of situations. Am accompanied by my childhood friend who has very friendly nature of his own. Eager to explore and love for a chat during leisure time. I respect others privacy and keep my own to recharge myself at times. Appreciate neat and tidy behaviour.
Heyy guys!! I just moved from the family farm to the city, I work in a law firm in Melbourne's CBD. I am friendly and always up for a chat, In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and being active. Feel free to call or text me :)

Hi there, I'll be working/studying next year and I'm looking for shared accommodation in the north or east. I'm quiet, easygoing but also social. I'll mostly be listening to music and playing videogames in my spare time but I really enjoy hanging out with interesting people. I'm approachable and non-judgemental, don't be afraid to ask me anything. Cheers.
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne as of the 1st of January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks to two months, and furnished; everything else is open to negotiation.
Hi I'm Andy, working full time at a fun tech company in the city. I like to work hard and keep my head down during the week, but of course love the freedom of the weekend. I like finding new cafes (although I never stray from my favourite!), good music, gigs and in my downtime a good book to read. I'm neat, tidy, responsible (for the most part) and looking for similar flatmates to live with.
I am easy going, work full time, cook, cyclist, I keep it quiet. I am looking for a private room and private bathroom. I am also looking for a parking spot/garage. Cheers.
Hey, I'm Megan and I'm 24. I work as a Nurse and Midwife. I'm in to health and fitness and enjoy going out for food and drinks. I'm an easy going and friendly person. I'm clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I love to socialise but still like to have my own space.
Hi , I'm Irene 27 , Moving from London to Melbourne for the Summer till 2017 of June. I've lived in a Creative warehouse share with a bunch of creative people where we can call it home when I was in London. I have experince to live with others and I'm also looking forward to meet amazing housemate when I move to Melbourne. I'm a tidy person (but no O.C.D.) very social person but also like to be a listener. I'm a big fan of Outdoor sports but also love art and music. And I'm good at cooking ! ( bonus ?!) My reason come to Melbourne is for Working Holiday but also want to promote my business that I set up in London - which is selling Taiwanese street dessert. So I'm planning to do some pop up event in cafes and bars. very excited !! I hope you will find me interesting and give me a chance to have a viewing Looking forward to hear from you. Irene xx
HI guys! I 'm Elisa, a 27 yo Italian and emphatic girl. I 'm going to spend my Second WHV in Australia, from December 2016: indeed I'm planning to stay in the wonderful city of Melbourne (Where I've already got hips of friends, happy to introduce 'em to my flatmates) at least for 4-5 moths. I will start soon an University Short Course in RMIT as well, so I definitely need to find my place in this City. I consider myself a calm, ordinate and clean person, but always ready to share. I simply looove to cook, and I would be more than happy to hang out and create a positive environment and relationship with my flatmates.
Hi there! I'm looking to create a cosy share house in Brunswick/Northcote/Thornbury etc but also branching out to some of the leafier Northern suburbs such as Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Watsonia, etc. A little bit about me: I'm in my 20s in my final semester of my undergrad degree at La Trobe, majoring in Anthropology and English. I spend my time hunting out new vegan brunch spots, sipping cups of chai tea and hanging out with friends. I work as a nanny for several families in the inner North and work in mental health advocacy/policy which sometimes takes me up to Sydney for the day. I'm a feminist, queer friendly and environmentally conscious, so if these are values that you relate to/respect/are interested in, that would be excellent! I'm a clean person and considerate of shared spaces. I enjoy a chat in between life's up and downs but also need time out to unwind (doesn't everyone?). I have an extensive collection of homewares (enough to furnish a whole kitchen) but very little major furniture such as a fridge, dining table etc. so if that's something you could contribute, let me know! Zara :~)
I am a great housemate! Tidy, respectful, friendly and love to cook. I come with a Cocker Spaniel named Dougall who is fully trained. He just lost his sister and is very attached to me but loves people. I am looking to share with down to earth, busy people or a person. I love to socialise but also like my own down-time as I am in the process of writing a book about my juicy life so far. Lol. Hope to hear from you.
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
I'm Jane, I'm 26, and I work in hospitality and I've just transferred from Monash to RMIT thus the move closer to the centre of things. I've also just got back from a year living overseas working with an NGO in India most of that time, and travelling around SE Asia. I love travel and balance that with working a lot of hospo jobs to try and save $$. I'd be looking at staying here for at least 12 months though as I save up for a bigger trip (going overland from Asia to the UK in 2018!). I've lived in share houses for about 8 years now, do the normal sharehouse things like wash my dishes when they appear and clean up after myself, and I'm good at using the saucepan method of removing spiders from places without killing them. I like gardening as well, mostly keeping herbs alive nowdays, and wrangling in overgrown backyards if I can find somewhere inner city with a garden 🙂 I love a glass of wine, cheese platters, netflix, and chill drinks, and going to fancy cheap BYO restaurants and going out to gigs. I'm not really a party person, and I am happy to both keep to myself in a house, or be super friendly and hang out with everyone, I've lived in places with different dynamics and I'm happy to go with the flow 🙂 I'd love to find somewhere I can move into by the 10th of December, but can be flexible. Thanks!
I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.
Heya! I'm a full-time teacher in the western suburbs looking for a new place to call home. I already live in a flat in Thornbury but I am looking to get into a bigger place with some outdoor area, closer to the public transport on offer in the same area. I can cook basically, always do my dishes and happy to contribute to cleaning etc. I prefer not to live with cats...
