Moving from my hometown of Perth to Melbourne in pursuit of a more exciting life in a bigger city! I'm an avid musician, writer, and world-traveller studying literature, and I'm definitely interested in team-ups with other creative types, starving artists, and students in general. The more of us there are, the easier it'll be for us to afford a place fit for throwing parties and hosting couchsurfers! ;) Move in date and preferred length of stay are definitely flexible, and so are my preferred suburbs; although I would rather live somewhere a little more vibrant and central, I'm totally willing to compromise for the right roommates and housing situation. My goal here is to give myself and other students/artists an opportunity for affordable accommodation (anywhere from $100 to $200 a week per-head, preferably on the lower end of the spectrum, even if it means sharing rooms), and to create an environment comprised of diverse, interesting, and like-minded people and good vibes! But I certainly can't do it alone, and don't know anyone in the city -- so if you're interested in putting together the grooviest communal house in Melbourne, please let me know! All races and genders are welcome. LGBTQ+ friendly.
Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after my self and happy to help keep the house clean. I am due to move out of my current house on the 27th jan ( flexible on this date ) Any question, ask away Thanks Jason =
Hi! I'm a 30yo visual artist (I work mainly with recycled/ found textiles in Sculpture and Installation). I used to be a classical ballet costume maker in Brisbane, before moving to Melbourne 4 years ago to study Sculpture at VCA). I graduated a year ago, and now I work for Craft Victoria in the city, and as a weekend manager of a reclaimed furniture showroom in North Melbourne, as well as developing my own art practice. (My heart lies in my creative work). I am quite house proud, clean, a non-smoker, meat-eater, calm, a bit quiet at first, happy and friendly. I always pay rent and bills on time, I love having a good chat and caring about (and feeling comfortable with) the people I live with, after a big day I am very happy to have some quiet time too. For fun I like to be with my friends, and go out to hear local bands. I ride my bike most places and I've lived on the Northside since I moved to Melbourne and I love it here. I come with house plants, teas, books and a big smile. I don't have any pets but am very keen to live with one.
Hey I'm Kim! I am a friendly and easy going girl. Im a trained nurse, although not working currently! I enjoy hanging out with people and having a good time, although also like to relax at home too. I am respectful and clean. I would love to live in a share house of girls/guys.
Full-time student at the University of Melbourne. Easy going, originally from central Victoria. Am into good films and books, cooking, music. I receive Centrelink youth allowance payments which cover my rent. I'm looking for a relaxed house with people interested in what they do/study.

During weekdays I'm usually busy and during weekends I like to watch movies, netflix and cook. I'm a very easy going, clean, friendly, responsible person whose always up for a good chat and beer :)
- social work student at RMIT - Personality -wise I've been described by others as like a real life Tina from Bob's Burgers - skills: cooking, opening jars, telling dad jokes - Likes: netflix, drinking various beverages with friends/housemates, old movies, trying new foods, dad jokes, literally all animals - 100% Ravenclaw PS: In case you're looking at starting a team up or you just signed a lease, I come with a tv, coffee table, a microwave and lots of kitchen stuff
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I’m Sinead, a recent university graduate currently working four days a week in the city. After living in Clayton for a few years while I completed my honours thesis, I’m looking to move to the western or northern suburbs to be closer to friends and family. I’m hoping to find a relaxed household with people I can chat with, but also have some time to myself. I love getting out in the garden, so I’m hoping to find a place with a yard, or at least space for a few pot plants. Definitely not a party person, my idea of a good weekend is enjoying some board games or movies with a handful of friends. While I have a car, I prefer not to drive to work, so I’m looking for a place with good access to public transport. I pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. Ideally I’m looking to move around early February, but would be able to move sooner for the right place.
I am easygoing and considerate, and also hardworking. I enjoy watching TV shows and generally relaxing in my spare time. I also enjoy getting coffees and brunch on the weekend. I think I would be pretty easy to live with and get along with!
Hi y’all! I’m looking for a privit room. New to Melbourne, but I have lived in the Uk, Ireland, Germany for the last 4 years. So I have lived with people from various nationalities that means I’m fully understanding living with mates for sure :) Just exploring and traveling at the moment but my real Melbourne new life will have to start from next week. That’s why I’m looking for a room. I can describe myself tidy, neat, easygoing and open minded person. Can enjoy have a chat with anyone, quite like to have some dinner and drink or two with flatmates. But I’m also very respectful person. Came here for a year with working holiday visa. I can move in straight away as soon as you allowed me to move in. Please just feel free to message me. I’ll have enough time to have an inspection this week. Thanks.
Studying double major in Environments at MelbUni, I tend to spend long hours at library. So when I am home, I like to cook or read a bit. Not a party fan nowadays due to my schedule. Also work part time as barista in a coffee shop. Plus I love making people laugh so I am willing to have a healthy social communication with my roommates. Also I like to have a clean house, so I am up to help in household duties.
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
Two of us from Adelaide coming over to study at RMIT (Fashion and Landscape Architecture) and the other from Bright studying at LaTrobe (Environmental Geoscience), we're pretty easy going people, we're very capable and quite domesticated (our mothers taught us well). Love socialising and outdoor activities. We love a good music festival or gig.
Hey there, I’m fromTurkey. I have been living in Australia for a year. I just finished to travel around Australia and I’m planing to stay in Melbourne forever. I’m bit quiet person. I usually watch movie, read book and watch video to learn new thing on YouTube. I really like outdoor activities I’m a really camper animal. I’m looking for a place that I can call a home.
I am looking for a beautiful share house to call home ✨🏡✨ I work full-time at a mental health service. In my free time I enjoy yoga, swing dancing, & time with friends. I enjoy being in nature - bush walking & camping. I am a nerd, who loves to learn. I have lots of books - mostly on psychology, spirituality & health. I enjoy attending festivals & working on creative projects. I am friendly, open-minded, respectful & easy going. I like to live an environmentally conscious life, though I am still mastering this! I like to re-cycle & use natural products. I eat meat, though I am interested to try a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle. I don’t mind what you do though! 🙂 I am respectful of shared living spaces & clean up after myself. WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR IN A SHARE HOUSE? A place to feel at home 🌻 ... with housemates that are welcoming, friendly, open-minded & fun. I am not interested in a party house, but I enjoy a social home - I am down to share a meal, a drink, a chat, or a laugh. I welcome movie & board game nights, & having friends over for dinner. I am very respectful of down time & personal space to. I prefer to live with non-smokers. I come with one bedroom of furniture & kitchen supplies. I will need some storage space for a few extra boxes. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey! I'm Renz and I'm a recent university graduate from Adelaide who is relocating to Melbourne for work mid-February (1 year contract, full time). My work is situated in Abbotsford and I won't be bringing my car with me so I'm hoping to find a place close to a train station along the Hurstbridge or South Morang line. When I'm not at work, I enjoy being active by going to the gym or the dance studio (I'm a hip hop dancer, just if you're curious). Or if I'm in a lazy mood, I enjoy cooking/baking, jamming on my guitar or chilling out with a good movie/tv series. I'm very tidy, easy-going, respectful of people and their personal space, and always down to make new friends!
I'm very considerate and amicable, tidy and communicative. I have very eclectic tastes, play the accordion, love to cook, watch all the movies, like all the musics and am currently starting up a mushroom farm with my partner. I'm super friendly and enjoy a good philosophical yarn over a glass of wine but also appreciate my own space and time alone.
Hey guys, I'm an RMIT student who is looking for a place closer to Bundoora campus. I work in the city so I'm looking for a place that can act as a bit of a middle man between the two places either via public transport or just being closish (I can cycle). I tend to keep to myself a bit though I do have friends over every once in a wild (nothing over the top). I am happy to share meals and cook if that's what you want and I'm always happy to help you guys whenever I can. I'm a bit of a nerd and gamer but I'll try and keep it quiet. I also enjoy exploring the area, up for a good chat and happy to help. Pleased to meet you.
Hi, I am an 18 year old female, moving from Phillip island to study nursing at Latrobe and am looking for shared accommodation. I'm outgoing and love to have a chat but also enjoy keeping to myself. My hobbies are reading, swimming, tennis and cooking, but I also don't mind going out occasionally too. Looking for a person or group that's also laid back and easy going :)
