Hi. I am a professional, work full time as a management consultant, with the majority of my current clients and business network are based in around the city. I am an engineer and economic analyst by qualification and previously worked with some consulting businesses and with the ANU in Canberra. Now I am looking for a rental (shared) property close to the city. I lived, studied and worked many years in Holland, Japan and Indonesia, which include living 9 years in shared properties in Holland. I am a sociable person, I enjoy making new friends but also respect the privacy of others. I am clean, do not smoke, love sports (badminton, volleyball and soccer), cycling, singing, playing guitar, beach and sea-fishing. I love dogs and cats, so no problems if there are dogs or cats in the property. At home and at work I am tidy and clean. I am also involved in a few social and business organisations in Canberra. I generally don't drink but for social occasions, I can enjoy good wine and beer. With a certain budget mentioned above, and long term, I would like to team up in a two-bedroom property/house/apartment. Otherwise getting a shared property from an existing tenant is fine too. I still prefer a two-bedroom property over a three-bedroom one. Ideally, the property has a covered car space or off-street car parking. For teaming up, I am looking for an unfurnished property. In my storage, I have stuff that can be shared (for free) for usage in the dining/lounge rooms such as a few couches, dining table and chairs, large TV, kitchen/cooking equipment, etc. You only need to bring your stuff to be put in your bedroom. If you think that we can team up, or you want to share your property, please let me know and send me a message.
Hi, I'm Harrison although most people call me Harry. I'm 24, currently living in Melbourne and moving the Canberra (ideally early December) as I start a job in the private sector in 2020. I'm an easy-going, social guy that enjoys having a quiet beer and a good conversation but I'm equally happy to just binge Netflix on the couch. I'd say I'm quite neat and I've lived with other people in the past and understand housemate etiquette. My main hobby is athletics, I'm a 400m runner, and I spend most of my afternoons either at the track or in the gym. I'm also into my music, with a small record collection and a couple of guitars. Looking for a team-up
Hey all! My name is Brianna, I’m a third year law/development studies student at ANU. Im really keen to move into a sharehouse in January for the year (+hopefully the rest of my degree!). Im really keen to move into a home rather than just a house! I am a tidy, respectful person who loves a good chat over a glass of wine and the occasional roommate outing (esp to the local farmers markets). I love being outdoors so when I’m not studying you’ll usually find me running/hiking somewhere in the ACT or down the coast relaxing. But I do work two jobs so there’s that too! Feel free to get in touch, would love to pop by and see what’s available.
I’m relocating to Canberra from Melbourne to work for an APS grad program. I’m a social person and like to share a drink and chat but I also enjoy my own time and respect others need to do the same. I’m friendly, tidy and down to earth. In my spare time I like to lead an active lifestyle, go camping, explore new places, read, binge watch a good series or bake (and yes, that means my future flatmates will likely benefit in baked goods). I’m looking for a room that’s within walking distance to the city. I’m hoping for flatmates that like to be social from time to time, even better if we share some common interests. Ideally looking for 6-12 months stay but I’d be happy to start with 6 months so that we have time to suss out if we’re a good fit for each other.
Hey! I'm Grace, a born and bred local. I work full-time in the APS. I keep pretty busy but otherwise I'm catching up with friends, playing soccer, painting, or cooking. I'm always considerate of communal space and housemates' downtime but I would also like to join a friendly sharehouse environment with people who are down to share a drink or a meal. Ideally I'm looking to move somewhere that puts me closer to the heavenly cheese fridge at Ainslie IGA. I'm aiming to move from the end of November onwards and definitely by early January. I'd be willing to sign on to a lease for the right spot. My best domestic skills are stain removal and cleaning the bathroom. My best personal trait is my modesty about my domestic prowess.
Hi there, my name's Felicity and I'm a current master student in physics at the ANU. I'm an easy-going and friendly person who's up for anything. I think getting along with housemates is important so I guess above all else, I'm looking for people that can make me look forward to coming home. When I'm not plotting away at uni, I like to go cycling and bouldering with my friends. Ideally, I'd be looking for a place either close to the city or near a bus/tram stop as I go to Sydney once a month and lugging around a big suitcase can be a hassle.
I'm a student entering my final year of university at the ANU (International Security), and am looking for somewhere to live in the Inner North for 12 months. I currently live in Braddon, but that lease is ending on December 9. I work part time in hospitality when I'm not at university, but I also enjoy running and cycling, reading, going to the movies, socialising. I'm keen for somewhere with chilled out and peaceful flatmates.
I'm looking for my own room with BIRs, large enough for a double bed and desk, while finishing up my PhD at ANU, ET 3-6 months, with a possible longer stay, dependent on PhD/work situation. I'm aiming for locations within a 15 min driving distance from ANU. I have savings which can guarantee my share of rent and bills for at least 7 months, and also have intermittent work demonstrating, tutoring and invigilating. I'm a very clean person with few obsessive quirks. I'm very happy to pitch in on the shared household chores. Ideally, I would want my own bathroom, or only have to share the bathroom with one other. I do weekly food prep, so would definitely need a functional kitchen and preferably a good oven to bake goodies to share. I have a keen interest in outdoors sports such as tennis, basketball, hiking, cycling and running. I enjoy reading, music, Netflix, sewing, knitting and just having a good chat. I play the harp, but don't practice at weird hours. I'm usually doing my PhD or playing tennis. I am friendly and down for the occasional dinner/drinks/hang but definitely would not suit a party household. I love animals, particularly puppers and kittens, and would be more than happy to join a share with pets (I do not have my own pet/s). I am currently sharing an apartment but our landlord wants to sell and my current housemate is thinking of going to Sydney. I have lived in 2 shares over the last four years and know how to be a considerate and respectful housemate.
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into an already established sharehouse. I would prefer a smaller place, maybe only 1 or 2 other people if possible. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix (aka I'm a huge homebody). I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie/trashy TV marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. Pretty flexible with move-in dates and can do any time between the first of December to the 30th of Jan :)
I've just completed by undergrad and hoping to move out. I work full-time in HR and plan to start studying again in June/July next year. I've lived independently in Canberra and Melbourne so understand the ins and outs of living in shared accommodation. I work full-time during the week, spend my evenings at the gym and then complete life admin and socialise on the weekend. I'm very neat and tidy. I also prefer to be organised so will spend time meal prepping etc on weekends. I am fairly social so hoping for flat mates who are happy to have the occasional meal together or wine. I'm also respectful of space and privacy. I work in the city so hoping to get accommodation South side round Kingston, Barton, Griffith area. Let me know if you'd like to have a proper chat as I'm wanting to move in relatively soon! Thanks! Eden
We are social and fun but still respectful of privacy. Two ANU students heading into our fourth year, studying psychology and French (Rhiannon) and PPE/development studies (Imogen). Looking for somewhere as close to uni/the city as possible but open to all! ☺️
Hi :) I am a 24 year old male moving from Melbourne to start a position in the APS. I like being outdoors, going for walks and watching sport, but also enjoy relaxing and watching a good Netflix series or playing board games. I'm more than happy socialising but also appreciate my own time. I am reliable, responsible and respectful of others and hope for the same.
