I’m originally from Western Australia. I moved to Hobart in February 2019 for a contract with government. I have been lucky enough to land in a fabulous share house in Blackmans Bay. Sadly, the owner is selling her home and moving back to Canada. Now that I'm here and more familiar with Hobart, I am looking around North Hobart, South Hobart West Hobart, Glebe, Lenah Valley, New Town, Battery Point or Taroona simply because it seems to be closer to the things I enjoy. Also, living closer to town will allow me to either walk or ride to work. For me I am looking for a place that I can stay for a minimum of 6-12 months, from the end of July or early August. I’m friendly, mature but easy going. I keep myself busy swimming, walking, and doing the odd gym session.
Hello, my name is Katrina. I am looking for a place to stay as I am enrolling as a student in TasTafe and will be looking for a part-time job. I am from the Philippines and I would like to meet new people. I prefer casual drinking with friends than going out to party. My hobbies include long walks, reading, creative writing, cooking, and playing video games. I can clean up after myself and cook meals. I love dogs but I don't own one.
Hi im Christie, 26, working full-time in the Transport/Supply Chain industry, posted overseas in Auckland for four months and looking to find a like-minded flatmate to move in with on my next posting to Hobart from July-December I like to keep things pretty chill during the week, i work Monday to Friday, and i like having a calm and relaxing space to come home to after work. Im not one for house parties but friends are always welcome on the weekends. I really want to find someone who also likes to keep the shared spaces clean. I love having a neat and tidy house and i know theres like-minded people out there so please hit me up! I love my chill time and after work you'll often find me on the ps4, reading, or going out to spend time with friends. I don't mind living with someones fur-baby, i love having a dog or cat in the house, as long as they're well-loved and tidied up after. If you think we would be a good match lets have a chat :)
Hey! I've been living in Brisbane for the past 5 years and am hoping to move back to Tasmania towards the end of the year. I work full time at Woolworths and have plans to begin studying in the new year. I'd love to be in a house with people that enjoy to socialise with each other and aren't afraid of having a few people around for some beers. So please shoot me a message and I'll look forward to hearing from you!
Hey there! 😊 I'm a full time apprentice hairdresser, in my first year! This means I work A LOT and when I'm not working, I'm studying. I'm very quiet, tidy and enjoy my alone time, however I'm not opposed to a dinner or a few drinks with company! 🍻 I play a lot of games in my spare time and watch Gilmore Girls on repeat, someone who enjoys or appreciates similar hobbies would be awesome! A little about my best-friend, Slinky; Slinky is an elderly and often grumpy cat. She is quite content with being alone and left to play with her toys and have the occasional nap! She unfortunately has lost one of her eyes and this does make her a little skittish, however once she gets to know you, she'll meow your ears off and even share her favourite toy mouse with you! 🐱 Ideally we would require an ensuite bedroom, as Slinky is strictly an indoor cat, meaning she'll need constant access to her litter tray. If our quirks appeal to you, don't be afraid to shoot us a message, I look forward to hearing from you! 👋 Additional information; I will happily pay for a pet bond, if you require it and will have all areas professionally cleaned and fumigated when I vacate.
I'm a young professional moving to Hobart from Canberra around the start of August. Just finished uni after too many years studying and am keen to see what Hobart is about! I play a lil bit of ultimate frisbee, swim regularly and have recently have got into cycling. I’m after a private room in a share house that likes to keep the home clean and organised - where we can enjoy our time alone or have a get together. Budgeting at $300 including bills. I’m always up to meet some new people who are relaxed, respectful and up for a laugh. Looking forward to a response!
My name is Linh. My husband, Adam, and I will be moving from Melbourne to Hobart in mid-July. We're a newly married couple from Vietnam. My husband was working as a chef in Vietnam before moving to Australia. He will be studying full-time, and I will be looking for a part-time teaching job and also studying full-time at UTAS. We're quiet, clean, friendly, and respect other's privacy.
A typical Sagittarius girl who dreams big and acts fast looking for a place called "Home" not far from Hobart city. It would be great either a studio on my own or a master room with personal bathroom. I'm a bit stylish, a big foodie, enjoy peace and loud music whenever needed, and tidiness is a must! Thank you:)
