Hi, I'm a teacher at St Michaels Collegiate and Tassie local who loves the arts and enjoys meeting new people. I don't drink or smoke and spend a lot of time working or going to acting/karate/singing classes. I am looking for a large room in a large share house with off street parking, preferably within walking distance to work. If you think I might be suitable please feel free to send me a message.
My name is Abbie, I am a 26 year old first year out teacher, working full time at Montrose Bay high school. I have a sausage dog Norman who is very friendly and completely toilet trained. I consider myself to be very friendly and sociable, but also enjoy my alone time. I love eating, watching Netflix and exploring this beautiful state we live in! I am looking for a place to call home for possibly the next 6 months.
I am easy-going, tidy and sensible. Work part-time and also recently started a PhD in International Relations. Easy to get along with + considerate of privacy. I enjoy movies, nature, reading and sharing the occasional drink & meal. Happy to team up with like-minded, friendly people to find a place
Hi! I'm Caroline, I'm super chill and easy to get along with! I've been in two rental properties, and my lease is expiring in May so I need to find place:) I like having a few ciders here and there and also love Netflix nights
We are a loving and friendly couple from Melbourne. Looking to move into Tasmania for study purposes with our new born. We love mixing with people from different cultures and communities. We are fun loving, love to share and always willing to help in whatever way we can.
Hello! My name is Nenagh (same as Nina). I am a 24 year old Tasmanian student at UTAS studying in my 4th year of a Bachelor of Arts with sociology and a Bachelor of Science with zoology and plant science. I also work 2 jobs. I love cooking, gardening, bush walking, drawing, reading and a good ol' pint at the pub. I am a really easy going laid back type of person and have had experience living in share houses before so I understand the responsibilities that come with it. I do have a pet budgie called Alfie. He is very sweet, easily contained and very low maintenance/mess as a pet. He has his own cage that I would normally just keep in my room. I'm looking for a share house with housemates that I could easily get along with and call my friends. So I would love to come and meet you!
Hello :) I've lived in Hobart for the last 3 years, having also lived in NSW, QLD and NZ. I finished my degree last year, and now work full time as a social worker. I'm a relatively quiet-natured person, but am always up for a good conversation, especially over a hot drink. I'm considerate of other peoples space, and like to keep a home tidy. I'd like to find others who are okay with having guests around from time to time... But nothing too big and crazy! In my free time I love to be outdoors - whether at the beach or on a hike. I also enjoy writing, reading and cooking. Plan A would be to begin a sharehouse with 2-3 others... Not couples though. I have some of the essentials (fridge, good vacuum, kitchenware) and would be happy to get some more. I'm flexible as to the move date. Would prefer a women's only house... But open to mixed. Send me a message if you're interested in starting a new share house! Cheers. :)
Hey, I am currently moving to Hobart from the North West of Tasmania to start my new job and would like a friendly place with others, I am laidback, quiet, and considerate. Would be working 9-5 M-F with occasional shift work on the weekends. I do have a pet, a friendly Labradoodle named Max, who is quiet and well house trained. I would need parking as I do have a car. I am a smoker but don't smoke in the house. I am a nurse working in the community. Looking to move in end of April or mid May 2019. Get in touch and we can talk :)
Hey I’m Isobel! I’m 18 years old, working full time and looking to move out preferably into a sharehouse. I’m quite social and love to have a chat over a wine or two but also understand people need their space and time to relax. I like to think of myself as easy going and reliable and look forward to meeting potential people to share a home with.
Hi, I'm Jen. I graduated last year from UTAS with a Bachelor of Social Work and currently have casual work. I am looking to start a share house in Hobart not too far from the city with two other like-minded women. Looking for housemates that are friendly and want to keep a clean house. I like to go for walks and workout at the gym. I also enjoy cooking and baking and will let you try my creations. I don't mind the occasional drink with friends and it would be nice to have friends over sometimes. I enjoy being social with others and time by myself. I have a car so need somewhere that has adequate parking. I have my own bedroom furniture but it would be great to find someone that has furniture or find a place that is partially furnished. Send me a message if you are interested in starting a share house in Hobart or looking to move to Hobart around early May. :)
I'm in my mid 20s. I work in IT and I am studying Community Support. I'm gay. I'm looking for a room in a great sharehome, or a group of people who want to work together to set something awesome up. Ideally within walking distance of either the city or the UTAS Sandy Bay campus - but a short bus ride near lots of routes is good too. I'm really keen on finding a home with people who share my values. When I'm not working or studying I like to play games, do crafts, read, and socialise. I love listening to and playing music. I like a friendly and social household, where people can hang out together and cook shared meals - especially a BBQ! I like a respectful household where shared spaces are always welcoming. I like to chat and hang out, but I also like to be able to have space when I want. I'm a big fan of communication. I also am keen on sharing the cost of a cleaner. I don't have very much in the way of furniture, but I do have bedroom stuff plus a TV and surround sound, some consoles, a NAS, and a fantastic Wi-Fi system. I also have a good internet plan that I would be keen to transfer to my new address. I like to be able to have guests over occasionally, and who can sometimes stay for a night or a few.
Hiya, have recently accepted a job in Hobart working for local government in the arts and I’m now on the hunt for a room in a quiet, friendly place which I can call home. I am 30 years old female graphic designer who is house trained, is always happy to help out around the house, I don’t smoke and I don’t have any pets. I’m laid back, a good listener and I find it easy to get along with people. I’m originally from New Zealand (so don’t let the accent stump you) but, most recently, I’ve been living in Launceston. I love getting out and hiking/camping. I enjoy music, the arts, a good cup of coffee and I’m usually keen to try something new.
Since moving back to the lovely Apple Isle from the sunny Far North Queensland coast, Lexi (beagle x lab) and I are looking for a place to call home. We both come house trained and since i work mostly night youll hardly know we are there. We sleep throughout the day. Lexi has been brought up inside and so she has propper house ettiqute but she is ok in a secure backyard if needed. We hope we can tick all of your boxes and can find somewhere to call home.
I am moving to Hobart from Brisbane for a full time job in Sandy Bay starting on May 6th. My area of work is marine biology/fisheries administration. I am 24 years old, single, and a friendly but quiet person. I enjoy baking, cooking, rock climbing, and hiking, and am a big animal lover. I'm looking for a home with friendly people who like to socialise but are respectful of each other's privacy and space. A fairly quiet home during the week appeals to me.
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant seeking a place to raise my child. I have immaculate references and am currently living in a share house in Glenorchy. I work at Mona Art Museum and will continue to do so after baby is born. Ideally my perfect house would be a studio or two bedroom or semi-detached house as I don't think living in a share house with a newborn is ideal. I am a quiet woman who keeps to herself.
We r couple from China and South Korea. I am studying full time and looking for a part time job, my Bf is working full time. We lived in sharehouse for last 4 yrs so we understand the house rules, we like to keep our living place clean as well. We r friendly and always up for a drink and talk~~
Hi! I’m Charmian form China and now study in UTAS for my master degree. I have a medium-sized sharpie dog called Ferrero. He is a lovely and friendly dog. He doesn’t like barking, he is able to keep silence whole day only if strangers are too close to the house or someone is hostile. I am looking for a room which allows us to live, I would appreciate your help! References on request.
I am responsible, respectful, very approachable and social. I am looking to be apart of or create a HOME environment, not just a place to live.
