Hi, I'm Maike, a student from Germany, and I'm going to study at the uni of Adelaide for 6 months. At home in Germany I live in a shared flat as well and I would say I am a quiet and tidy person when it comes to living together. I will probably be studying, working and exploring Adelaide, and Australia in general, most of the time anyway. But I really like living with a flat mate. You get to know new people you might not normally meet and there is someone to talk to when you get home from a long day. And I am also open for other suburbs but I don't know the names so I just put some of them in my listing.
I'm a casual relief teacher (but get work most weekdays), along with working on some online ventures. Also a keen soccer player and enjoy going out having a few drinks on the weekend. Very respectful, and introverted at times, so definitely not the loud and annoying type many of you dread getting stuck with :)
I usually spend most of the time in uni. I like to come into peaceful house at the end of tje day. I dont party much but i definitely like watching a movie withe housemates once in a while. I like to keep my space tidy and clean. I love coffee and i like people who share the love coffee :)
I am 26, very work orientated and reliable but also down to earth and friendly. I juggle quite a few things at the moment; I am a freelance illustrator and so spend a lot of time keeping to myself working on various projects. I teach art two days a week and also work part time in a chocolate/cafe job in the city. I love animals but don't own any, so I will gladly make friends with yours. I'm a non-smoker, I don't cook or eat much meat but not quite vegetarian. I am respectful, clean and considerate of others. LBGT friendly. I'm very creative, I love art, music, yoga, films, food and travel. I'm pretty relaxed but if you know me long enough you will find I have a silly side.
Super tidy in my own space and communal! Massive Netflix fan, I binge quite often. When im not at work or watching Netflix I'm at the gym or eating! Currently have two jobs, the first being Mon-Fri 9-5 in Marleston and the second 4 nights a week over the weekend in the cbd so will barely be home. I am a quiet and respectable individual not a partygoer, but I do like a glass of red at home. I own a small sports motorbike which will need to be undercover and also a car which is preferable undercover but not mandatory. I Have a 3 year old who will stay with me a few nights during the week, I hope that is okay. Any questions, shoot!
Hi my husband and I are looking for a place to call home in Adelaide. We have been here 3 months but now looking to make our stay more perminant. I am working full time at Ashford Hospital and my husband is working part time at a bar whilts he is looking for work on the railway. This could be out of state so it is a possibility it might be just me there most of the time. We are looking to live with a couple of other people max in a home enviroment with other working proffesionals. We love going out exploring and often spend weekends away but also enjoy cooking and chilling with a glass of wine and a film. Now Adelaide is going to be our home we want to build up freindships, so we'd like to live with people that we have things in common with (must like a game of monopoly ;))
Hi! I'm looking to team up with another chick and share a lease on a 3 bedroom place close to the city, preferably in the west or south. I live by myself at the moment so I have plenty of furniture to contribute. I work full time in the city in accounts for a law firm. My free time is spent out with friends, going to music festivals, camping, hiking, making terrariums, putting succulents in things, baking and more. This might make me sound like an outdoor person but I'm not. Most evenings I'm taking it easy watching TV or gaming. I haven't shared for a few years but I like to think I'm easy to get along with and I'm pretty flexible. I like to keep my apartment neat and tidy and I try not to let the dishes pile up too much and most importantly I pay all my bills on time! I'm hoping you'll be looking for the same thing. Send me a message if you're interested!
Hi, I am Theep from Sri Lanka! I'm moving to Adelaide on 1st week of August with my wife. We're a young couple, very friendly & new to Australia. However, I do have experience in living in a shared accommodation for more than 6 years (ever since I was studying in Europe). We'd love to hear from you if you have a place which we can rent out for 6 months. Thanks!
I am after two rooms one for myself from 24/4/2018 long term and the other from 2/5/2018 to 12/5/2018 for my parents who will be in Australia for my graduation. The rooms do not have to be in the same house. I am flexible on location provided there's a bus stop no more than 5 minutes from the house and the location is no more than 20 minutes into the city. The house owners will be friendly and be willing to have conversations from time to time. Ideally this would be a new property. No pets.
I am a Dutchman and from July I will be studying in Adelaide for six months. So I'm going to follow a number of courses at UniSA, but I'm mainly coming to Adelaide to see more of the world and meet new people. For this I'm looking for a nice home base, preferably as close to the city as possible, where there is enough space to do many things. Now in the Netherlands I live in a house with eleven other students, where we often drink a beer together and do a lot of activities with each other. Because we have a large living room, we often invite other people who live elsewhere in the city. This often leads to a lot of spontaneous activities, which have produced many unforgettable moments. This is not necessarily a requirement for me in a new student residence and I am certainly open to everything that comes my way. It does, however, give an idea of how I currently experience my student days and that I am mainly looking for meeting new people, whether or not in my new home.
Work long hours, enjoy a social drink, going for dinners ,exercise, watch Netflix love footy(HAWTHORN) . I work out of Richmond area and looking for someware close to work (from strathalbyn) and tired of the drive to and from work daily . I don't smoke and live a very clean and healthy lifestyle. Happy to share with male or female
Hey everyone, Looking to join a share-house with easy going people. Preferably Inner-SouthWest, something along the Westside Bikeway (Camden Park to Mile End) would be ideal, but I'm open to nearby options. I am a Project Manager in the imported gourmet Food industry - basically your great food and wine are actually my job ;-) I have great history with sharing accomodation, both agencies and privates, and references available including from my current flatmates. I have lots of interests: food (it's for work!), cycling, road-trips and anything you can do outdoors, rock climbing, photography, music, 4x4, camping, fishing but also movies, reading (I'm a news junkie), new technologies, the random nerdy stuff... and more. When I'm home, if I'm not doing some work-related email catching-up or watching idiot clips on instagram, I'm open to socialising during dinner or a glass of wine if that's the type of house, otherwise I respect other peoples' spaces and quiet times. I'm a non-smoker, mostly health/fitness minded, social but respectful person. Details aside, just feel free to contact me and we'll see how we go from there. Cheers! Some random facts: - I have saved thousands of marine turtles in Mexico; - I'm Italian but I don't like soccer; - I do cook amazing food, I'd love a foodies' house! - (Apart from Italian) I speak Spanish, and it'd be great to practice my French :) - Eventually in a few years I want to quit everything, buy a sailing boat and go places. PS: lastly, I'm not in a rush to move so I'm ok to plan things. The only reason why I want to change is that my current place can get a bit noisy at night, and I'm a bit of a light sleeper.
Easy person to get along with. Active guy that loves playing sport. Like to think of myself as a pretty clean person however my bedroom can be the exception to that at times.
I have a great personality. Very easygoing, mature, been a butcher for over 15years in a retail butcher shop so i am good at talking to anybody. Love my footy and enjoy a bbq and beer on the odd occasion. 😜
I'm a very quiet tenant who is full-time employed at an engineering company and I'm involved in a number of community organisations. I'm very socially engaged, have some interesting pastimes, and have a very wide and extensive group of friends that I visit regularly however rarely have over. I like watching old movies, listening to old music, and reading old books (there's a pattern there) but I'm very interested in new things and look forward rather than backward. I'm open minded on social issues and enjoy a good belly laugh. I try and keep myself in good condition though I am susceptible to a nice shiraz. I have recently enrolled at uni (online). I am LGBTQI friendly and keep my nose out of other people's business. A great day for me is breakfast at a nice cafe and a walk or swim at the beach. My life is an open book so if you'd like to know something then just ask me. I'm looking for long term accommodation however never say never. Please note I am not looking for share house accommodation.
Lived in share houses for many years, work full time and volunteer the rest of my time into Ice Hockey in various roles. Generally keep to myself at home, when I am home, but I am happy to be social from time to time. Clean and tidy most of the time. Looking to move to a better location than current, prefer to live with only 1 other person max.
