I am a professional squash player and coach from England. I am here in Australia for a 2 year plan. I am mostly out training or coaching. I have a very busy schedule with only Sundays off. I see my room/home as a place to unwind, relax and recover from my heavy training (x2 sometimes x3 a day) and work routine. I am a very chilled, positive and optimistic individual trying to achieve my goals and targets for passion/dream which I am very dedicated towards. I appreciate people who are mature, reasonably tidy and understand giving people their privacy. Very easy going and as long as there is respect I am pretty flexible. If you have any question, please let me know.
Well ... I’m new here in Australia. Got full time job. On weekends I like to play soccer (wich I joined recently). I have been living here in Chatswood in house-share since I've moved here. I am tidy and mind my space and respect others as wll. I can cook some Indian food (little spicy🌶 ). And never mind for a little wine once in while. That’s pretty much it..
Hi there, Im a European journalist working for SBS looking for a room in the area. I ride a motorcycle, sail and I am a respectful and a good and helpful housemate.
Hi! I'm Evie. I am looking to move down to Sydney at the end of November/early December as I will be starting classes at the University of Sydney in early January. I have lived in a share house in Brisbane for almost a year so I have lots of experience in the etiquette of living with others (i.e. I clean up after myself, respect others space/privacy and do my share of the chores around the house). I am pretty introverted so I do like to keep to myself from time to time, but I am always happy to have a chat and make plans to hang out with my house mates if we're up for it! I am currently working in Brisbane until the end of November so I cannot move until at least the last week, but I am flexible and willing to wait for the right place. Please feel free to send me a message with some details about your listing and I'd be more than happy to organise a time to check it out when I am down in Sydney. Thank you!
Hey hey! I'm looking for a comfortable place I can get settled down in as soon as possible. I enjoy my downtime, but I also like having a cup of tea (or glass of wine!!!) and chatting. I'm a neat and tidy person and am hoping to find some flatmates that will become friends. Talk soon
Hi! I am from Ottawa, Canada and I work in the TV industry . I am coming down to Sydney for a year to work in my field. Maybe I'll stay permanently....who knows! I used to live in Australia when I was younger so I have a dual-citizenship. Sadly, I lost my Aussie accent! I am very clean, love to cook, love to try new restaurants & love to paint.
I'm laid back and easy to get along with, I like to keep to myself but will be happy to have a chat every now and then. I'm moving to Sydney from Canberra for a job I've been offered. I'm into travel, learning languages and card/board gaming
EDIT: I now have to update all of the below. I may be taking up a full-time job in Chatswood in late 2018 so am browsing for Chatswood places now. I prefer LGBTQ and/or nudist-friendly. I'm a serious hard-worker and it'll be a 9-5 Mon-Fri job that I'll be doing. --- Hello I'm Glen, just turned 30, from the NSW Central Coast. I've been having an interesting life. I grew up in Gosford, then went to London to train full time as a classical musician before burning too brightly and 'burning out' returning to Australia in 2013, then since then I've been a massive hippie and nudist and went traveling around NSW and even lived at a yoga ashram for half a year, where I'm basically on a spiritual journey to both heal things from my past and decide on the sort of life I want to live. One day I want to be a dad and make my own family. I work half-half in music and non-music at present, doing gigs on the violin alongside a stable part-time day-job in Swansea. I love nature, and swimming in the ocean, have good loved friends on the Central Coast, and am very open-minded culturally. By now I'm really respectful about how other housemates may want to live (e.g., I don't have to be nude in front of housemates in order to be happy, a happy house is about everyone in balance), and likewise I'm good at communicating whatever simple boundaries I may need for myself too :). Let's meet and see if we get on or not! I'm full of love and peace... Thank you for reading! Glen
Hey, I am 25, currently work full time from Monday to Friday! Clean and tidy, I'm quite chill, love a wine during the week after work and socializing but love my personal space as well. Love to travel and go on adventures and also binge watch TV Shows :D Thanks, Shani
Newly migrated to Australia from NZ, I have a bit of a funny accent. My workmates make fun of certain words I say, and I'm sure you will too/ I like to hang out with flatmates where possible but also have the ability to do my own thing, but would love the opportunity to meet new people. In previous flats I have lived with a larger group of people and prefer living in share houses. I like to cook, but also keep everything tidy as I go. I love to watch movies and constantly quote Brooklyn Nine Nine. I'm all about animals, so if you have a pet - great!
Seeing a couple to team up for a house. We are re locating from WA looking to share a big home up to $1700 a week between 2 couples and 1 other guy (fifo worker) We are professionals, busy life style. 32, non party animals, like to have a drink now and then and have a 11 year old staffy x dog.
Hi, I am happy go lucky, easy going 28 year old who is looking for some equally laid back house mates. I am working full time in North Ryde and am wanting to leave within 30 min drive. I am tidy and courteous, more than happy to share a meal and drinks over some good conversation or netflix. I have lived in share houses for many years so am used to living with other people. I spend my spare time keeping active, tiring the dog out, the usual reading books/ watching netflix or hitting up the Sydney beaches. My real bonus is the the 2 cats and dog that I have who provide endless entertainment (and are well trained). Liking animals is a must. Looking for 6-12 months accommodation.
Hello everyone, Looking for accommodation from middle of February 2019. I’ve got the International Joint PhD Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship. So, I need place to stay around Sydney from middle of February 2019 to middle/end of August 2020. I am a friendly, respectful and tidy person and also reliable, quiet, and easygoing. I enjoy running, cooking and a nice chat, but can keep to myself. Hope to hear from you! (I can give you a reference from my boss, if needed)
I have recently (3 months) started working in construction as a geologist with my works office based in North Sydney and the sites I most commonly work at being in Crows nest and Chatswood. Looking to live closer to work as my commute is currently 45 mins to an hour. I consider myself an easy going guy and in my free time I enjoy outdoors activities such as hiking and archery. I also enjoy motorcycle riding and maintenance.
Hi I’m Jacinta, new to Sydney. I’m clean and quiet, I tend to keep to myself when I’m not working my crazy morning and late hours. I love cooking, going to gym, reading, hiking, and immersing myself in my design work. Hoping to stay somewhere nice and friendly, respectable and peaceful and close to work.
ROOM PREFERENCES: would prefer a decent sized UNFURNISHED room with a built in and enough room to fit both a queen bed and a desk, as i do not have any other household furniture. AREAS: anywhere between Mosman to Lane Cove up to mid North shore eg Killara, may consider other outlying suburbs as well ABOUT ME: Looking to move in perhaps MID NOVEMBER 2018. I'm deaf, you can play all the music you want (or sing loudly at 3am) and I wouldn't complain! Sydney born and bred, pref living on lower north shore. motorcyclist as a hobby, mechanic by trade. non smoker, no kids or pets. no problem if you have pets, pref sharing with a non smoker but will consider otherwise. have previously lived with a couple of families that have two kids each for a number of years with no issues, happy to provide them as references if required. not overly social (verbally, as text based mediums are preferred) but will mingle for a short time, happy to have my own privacy and for you to have yours. not the hosting sort so wouldn't be having parties (next day clean ups are not my thing!) i don't cook a lot, and would not expect you to be putting on food for me at all. also very LGBT friendly, no issues at all on that count. off street parking would be great if available (as I would like to keep my motorcycle safe!)
