I’m just about to turn 40, in the middle of a divorce of sorts and so looking for somewhere local to move into whilst our house in Lane Cove sells (I’m guessing 6-12 months minimum as haven’t even started that). I share custody of a 9 month old puppy, he’s super calm, doesn’t bark crazy and a great little dog). I expect he’ll spend most of the time at the house in Lane Cove, though he might be with me some of the time and is somewhat of an inside dog. I work 60% as an IT consultant, 40% as a underwater photographer. Tend to travel a fair bit, otherwise be out on my boat weekends where I can. Not looking for a crazy party environment, but don’t mind a beer, can cook and am respectful of others space and privacy. I’ve got a storage unit in Lane Cove, so don’t have much stuff with me, all dive gear is in storage workshop so I don’t expect reams of gear about the place either. Let me know if you think there’s a match. Kind Regards, Damien
I'm a 20 year old first year student at Macquarie Uni. I am working part-time and looking for a place to move into for 2019. I am independent and often stick to myself. I have experience living with 3 others in a share house. In my spare time I like to read and often go camping, having been in scouts for 10 years. I love pets, and am happy to be around them if you have one of your own.
Hi! I'm a 21 year old uni student studying piano full time at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in the city. I'm from Bathurst in country NSW and I have been living in student accommodation on Sydney uni main campus for 3 years now. I'm looking for a place that is reasonably close to the city and has fast and direct transport as my hours are long and I'm at uni 6-7 days a week with classes plus practicing and rehearsing. I work as a piano teacher a few afternoons a week during the school term and also as a freelance accompanist for singers and instrumentalists for various performances/auditions/exams at the Conservatorium and around the city. In my down time I like to go to concerts, binge TV series (especially comedies), bake and hang out with friends. I'm a super clean person, sociable (always down for a chat) but respectful of peoples privacy when they need it. I try to get home for the weekend every 6 weeks or so as well, so I'm not around all the time. Wanting to live in a non-smoking household. Please feel free to contact me if you think you I would be well suited to your place!
23 year old Australian originally from the South Coast who works full time in medical recruitment. I love to keep myself busy, caffeinated & fit. I am respectful of others and believe in the importance of individual time. Most weekends I will be out socialising with friends over breakfast/lunch or a well earned beverage to relax. After work chances are i'll be out running or at the gym. I am super easy to get along with a love a good chit-chat. Oh, and I clean up after myself. I've done the whole uni stint, graduating in 2017 in both Human Resource Development and Management. Currently living in the Eastern Subs.
Hi everyone, My name's Anna, I work part-time in marketing and have a French X Australian Bulldog named Shadow. She is 10 years old, very sweet and very housetrained - she never barks (ever) and gets along with other dogs. I'm looking for a private room in Top Ryde, Chatswood, St Leonards or Willoughby. I'm a non-smoker, Australian, friendly and very tidy. Ready to move in asap. Look forward to chatting with you. Thanks!
We are a couple from the States making the move to Oz for a second time. Both of us are originally from Cleveland, Ohio but previously lived in Lane Cove North before moving to our current home in Phoenix, Arizona. I am a teacher and will be studying towards my Masters while working, and Chuck will be working in the Warehouse/distribution sector fulltime again. We mostly keep to ourselves and are very practiced when it comes to shared living spaces, but we also enjoy sharing meals and drinks with our flatmates. I love to cook for others and share my 'Murican delicacies with all.
I'm Accountant by profession and I've been living in sydney for last 12 years. Looking for a own room and bathroom and also need parking. I am very clean and tidy and like the place to be comfortable and very clean
I currently work in business development and consultancy in the pharmacy industry and spend a lot of time on the road and travelling, although I am currently looking for another job, but similar role. I am hoping to move out in mid-late January. I live in Avalon at the moment with my parents after spending many years travelling, studying and saving for an investment property, and I am now looking to move somewhere more central. I enjoy cooking, walks, napping and watching tv. I am looking to move into an already established place, and have all my own bedroom furniture and kitchen stuff, but not much else (happy to purchase anything for the common areas if needed). I am fairly chilled and will clean up after myself, but intend on hiring a cleaner for my portion of the whole house cleaning, as I am away a lot, so don't want to annoy anyone by missing my share of the cleaning. I spend my work days talking a lot, so often come home and am happy for a chat, but will generally keep to myself a bit. I hope to be able to have friends over occasionally, but not big parties.
Hello, 🌺 My name is Lucy and I'm looking for a peaceful place, where I could do some meditation and relax, however in tough days I would love to share a glass of wine and have a nice conversation with my future flatmate. ☺️🍷 So basically, I'm looking for a place non smoker, no parties and with a nice person to be my flatmate. I'm respectful, neat and tidy. The most important for me, is share the apartment with ONLY ONE PERSON, not more than that and if he/she is in the 30's would be even better! 😄 Hopefully I can find this special place soon.🌸🙏🏻
Im a 32 yr old builder/Carpenter. I have the best behaved and most human female Staffie who goes to work with me everyday. I am ideally looking for a share house with space to store my boat on the street out the front, a motorbike somewhere off the street and some sort of undercover storage for some portable shelves I’ve got to keep work stuff organised.. I understand this is a lot to hope for so obviously I am flexible, and would really appreciate you giving it some thought. As far as the room/house goes, I am really easy. I will take the cheaper option of any available because I am saving for an investment. As far as housemates go, I’m not looking to move into a party-every-weekend kind of sharehouse, however I have no problem with the occasional party or friends over. I am social myself and would much rather a happy and relaxed environment than a sterile one. As far as my interests go, well obviously I’m into boating and riding motorbikes. I’m also into recreational aviation and try to fly when I can afford to. Otherwise I enjoy hanging with mates having a few beers. I look forward to meeting whoever I’m going to meet in this new chapter!
I'm a young professional, looking for a relaxed, nice place to share. I'm easy to live with, not messy, responsible and don't party. I prefer a place close to a park and easy transport to the city. I like to do my things, but also happy to have dinner/wine together. I don't smoke. I have a small Maltese dog, Tommy. He is friendly, love humans and gets along well with other dogs. He doesn't shed. He's completely house trained, quiet and doesn't do any damage in the house.
Hi my name is Eden, I am 20 years old and currently living in a sharehouse. I currently study at Newcastle uni, I am doing a bach of science with a double major in sustainable resource management and psychology. I work mon-Friday and to the occasional shift at a bar on the weekends. I am looking for a room for rent - I don't require it to be furnished, I have my own bedframe and furniture. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, and spend most weekends with friends. I do not have a cat currently but I am a huge animal lover and would really like to adopt one in the new year. FYI - I am looking to move in January.
I am 42yrs of age female ( home owner and single parent of a grown child not living with me) and I have recently moved to the Sydney area ( October 2018) from a country regional area. I am committed to my current living arrangement until Jan, 2019 and I am looking for and requiring a long term living arrangement. I would prefer accomodations with other females, however if there is a male, I am ok with that ( happy to consider upon meeting first) I get along with all people generally. I am a clean and tidy person who respects other peoples privacy, and respects required house rules. I’m not a party animal, although I really enjoy to socialise, I don’t drink heavily, or like loud music! I love animals, especially dogs! I am a working professional (Full time Mon-Friday in the city and occasional wknds ) and although I am still finding my way around Sydney, I’m enjoying the sea change from my country regional origins. I don’t smoke, I enjoy to cook, and enjoy time to myself, a quiet night in, with a book or movie as much as going out for dinner / outings. I enjoy exploring my new surrounds each day. I have an interest in the arts and theatre and like most music. If there is anything else you would like to know of me; within reason - I’m happy to advise.
I am easy going, tidy and quiet, I can cook, love keeping fit, playing rugby and I work full time as an apprentice mechanic, love cars and animals (happy to have a pet in the house) and I like to think I am pretty handy with most things house related. I not a fan massive parties but don't mind being social (would prefer a quieter house).
I'm an energetic but easy-going 20-year-old balancing full-time work and study. In my spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym, exploring the outdoors, cooking, and chilling with my fur-baby (my 2-year-old, extremely cuddly, quiet, toilet trained and well-behaved chihuahua). I'd love to hang out with my flatmates and bond over some good wine and cheese every once in a while, but am also happy doing my own thing. I'm always willing to lend a hand, especially with cleaning and the like. I do drive, but ideally looking for somewhere near-ish public transport. Please shoot me a message if you think I may be a good fit in your home, or if you have any questions. Thanks!
I am a bubbly and social person. I'm from Sydney and looking to find a place I can call home. I am someone that is always up for a good chat and hang out but I am very mindful of others' privacy and need for space, I am also very responsible and clean. I work full days on weekdays so I wouldn't be around much during the week. I am very relaxed and happy to go with the flow ! :)
I'm looking for a place close to my job (Willoughby). I'm from Brazil, 28years old, and I've been living in Australia for 1 year. I was living in Brisbane and I moved to Sydney just 2 months ago. I'm working with marketing and administrative support as well as hospitality on the weekends. I'm easygoing, absolutely clean and respectful.
I'm a fun-loving 30 year old climber and personal trainer working at a local climbing gym, and I need somewhere great to call home! Looking for somewhere with a bit of private space but some good energy to hang out with a beer after work - a balcony would be great, backyard even better. I'm considerate of your space, like to keep my place clean but love to make a mess in the kitchen with a good cookup. I have a fair bit of furniture at the moment (I'll be moving out of a studio with my own furnishings) but not super attached to all of it. I love the outdoors, spend more weekends in the blue mountains climbing than I do out partying (but don't mind the occasional boogie). If you've got any other questions, don't be shy!
