My name is Shae - I moved from Melbourne to Sydney a year ago. I work full time (regular hours) as well as studying a health science degree part time online - so I tend to be quite busy and keep to myself during the week (mostly because i'm on my laptop in my room studying after work throughout the week). I keep myself active and enjoy going to the gym bright and early before work most mornings. I am a social person but also enjoy my own downtime and respect others personal space. I am an average cook (getting better) but a GREAT cleaner and love to keep organised! Very easy-going, friendly and considerate. I have an extremely affectionate, loving and playful Ragdoll teenage cat (5 months old) named Harvey. He is an extremely sweet boy who loves being around people. He stays indoors only and is perfectly toilet trained - really, he has never missed... ever!
I am easy going, tidy and quiet, I can cook, love keeping fit, playing rugby and I work full time as an apprentice mechanic, love cars and animals (happy to have a pet in the house) and I like to think I am pretty handy with most things house related. I not a fan massive parties but don't mind being social (would prefer a quieter house).
from NZ moving to Sydney for full time work and post grad studies. enjoys a good banter, socialising, quiet time. respects privacy of others. house trained, tidy and cleans up after using stuff. cheers
Hi,i am working full time as i am also bit quite & clean guy as like going to cafes & enjoy good movie & bike ride at local & BBQ day out. I also have a small car as don't mind sharing my car. I am very easy going guy. I hope i can find some where nice. Thanks
I have recently (3 months) started working in construction as a geologist with my works office based in North Sydney and the sites I most commonly work at being in Crows nest and Chatswood. Looking to live closer to work as my commute is currently 45 mins to an hour. I consider myself an easy going guy and in my free time I enjoy outdoors activities such as hiking and archery. I also enjoy motorcycle riding and maintenance.
Hi I’m Jacinta, new to Sydney. I’m clean and quiet, I tend to keep to myself when I’m not working my crazy morning and late hours. I love cooking, going to gym, reading, hiking, and immersing myself in my design work. Hoping to stay somewhere nice and friendly, respectable and peaceful and close to work.
I’m an easygoing and clean person who works as a high school teacher. I love to make new friends and have a good time with my flatmates as well as spending time by myself. (I recently rescued a cute tabby kitten called Porkins. He’s well trained and loves a belly scratch plus a big purrer. So, we are kind of a package now)
ROOM PREFERENCES: would prefer a decent sized UNFURNISHED room with a built in and enough room to fit both a queen bed and a desk, as i do not have any other household furniture. AREAS: anywhere between Mosman to Lane Cove up to mid North shore eg Killara, may consider other outlying suburbs as well ABOUT ME: Looking to move in perhaps MID NOVEMBER 2018. I'm deaf, you can play all the music you want (or sing loudly at 3am) and I wouldn't complain! Sydney born and bred, pref living on lower north shore. motorcyclist as a hobby, mechanic by trade. non smoker, no kids or pets. no problem if you have pets, pref sharing with a non smoker but will consider otherwise. have previously lived with a couple of families that have two kids each for a number of years with no issues, happy to provide them as references if required. not overly social (verbally, as text based mediums are preferred) but will mingle for a short time, happy to have my own privacy and for you to have yours. not the hosting sort so wouldn't be having parties (next day clean ups are not my thing!) i don't cook a lot, and would not expect you to be putting on food for me at all. also very LGBT friendly, no issues at all on that count. off street parking would be great if available (as I would like to keep my motorcycle safe!)
i'm looking to share a home/apartment with only one other person or a studio to myself. I'm super chill and social but I do really love my private time as well. i work full-time in the health industry and also work as a makeup artist in the music industry. i love to travel, read, watch EPL and relax as much as i can. I would prefer someone who is clean & tidy and as laid back as i am.
Im an exchange student from California studying early childhood development at Macquarie University. I love to cook, make ceramic pottery, and go to the beach in my spare time. Looking for a friendly and easy going house to live in for my last 7 months here!:)
Hi ! I'm Nick ! A quiet and respectful guy. I work a rostered week which generally involves me finishing quite late so you might not see me too often of an evening. I'm well house-trained which means I clean up my own messes as I go. My cat is also well-trained and will play outside during the day, but at night she likes to sleep in my room. She is toilet-trained. She's a sociable creature and likes to play with other cats.
I’m a female professional in my mid 20s. I’m super clean and tidy. Most importantly, I always clean up after myself, so I will expect that you are the same. I live a health lifestyle and like to keep fit. I work four days a week, ten hours a day, so home for me is a place to relax. I’m looking for a quiet cozy clean place with like minded people (no parties or smoking). I’m respectful of others’ space, but also up for a friendly chat.
Hi I'm Chantal - I'm a friendly, hardworking, mature and responsible person. I work in marketing for a large insurance company in the Sydney CBD and have done so for almost 5 years. I've lived in my current sublet in Wollstonecraft for 3 years with no problems & always paid rent and bills on time. However, my flatmate would now like her partner to takeover my room so I need to find myself a new one. Keen to stay in the lower north shore area, with ideally only 1 other mature & tidy flatmate, live walking distance (0-10 mins) to train transport that goes direct to the CBD and ideally, in an already furnished room and home. I'd be comfortable with $270 a week rent and ideally this would include some/all bills. Look forward to getting in touch and to meeting you! Chantal
Open-minded and easy-going medical student from Germany looking for a room close to the Royal North Shore hospital. I'll be interning there for 8 weeks, and am excited to explore Sydney in my free time. Will probably try to travel some weekends as well to see as much of Australia as I can. :) I've shared living space for many years (boarding school/college dorms/flat shares) and am respectful of communal space and people's privacy. However, I'd also be very happy to sit down for a chat / glass of wine or even cook dinner together if people feel like it. I'm an active person and look forward to exploring the running trails around North Sydney / perhaps also learning how to surf as well :) I also love good food + coffee (I'm a "flexitarian" aka don't cook it but do succumb to the craving of a good Pho bowl when I'm out). If you think I'd be a right fit for your flat I'd love to hear from you!
I have lived in share-houses for years, so have all of the training and good habits you need in someone who you're going to share a space with. But I'm definitely getting to the point where I'd like a little more space to myself, somewhere to study (I work full time and study yoga teaching), my own bathroom and a little more peace and quiet than my current 4 people in one house situation! If that sounds good to you, let's team up!
I'm a french engineering student, and i want to live in a place where I can share y experience with my flatmates. I like to enjoy my stay in Australia, having fun by making new friends. I'm going to work in a computing company but after work, I like to do sports with my friends, hanging out or chilling at home. As a french, I like to eat well ;)
Easy going Australian who likes to have a beer with friends on the weekends. Looking to meet new people who live in and around the city. Work 8-4 in pharmaceuticals in Sydney and go to the gym most evenings. In to most sports (soccer mainly)
I am a polite and friendly 25 year old professional looking for a flatshare. I am very clean and tidy and respect other's personal space/privacy as much as I appreciate my own. Saying that I am an easy going and socialble person. I am relocating from Perth WA, to Sydney NSW for work.
Hi All, Im a 29 yr old sales manager for a building a development company. Am friendly, courteous, clean and most importantly respectful. I’m an active and social person so don’t spend a huge amount of time at home. Looking a place that is an enjoyable dynamic to be a part of and contribute too. Call anytime!
Hi everyone, I’m a 23 yr old Aussie girl looking for a place to call home. A little about me: I work full time in marketing at Macquarie Park. I'm social, tidy and friendly. I like playing netball during the week after work and usually spend my weekends going to gigs or hanging with friends or family. Previously I was living at Redfern but now I want to live somewhere a little more convenient for getting to work each day but still close to the city. Preferable areas are St leonards, Crows Nest, Wollstonecraft, Waverton or North Sydney areas. Anywhere close to a train line or busses. Looking to find some likeminded flatmates and a place to call home! Let me know if you think you have something that might suit. Also happy to do a team up in the area :)
Hi, we're a couple from Germany/Ukraine who met in Prague. We're both full-time employed (software development and project management). Important for us is to have our own bathroom, a good public transport connection (<30min) to Macquarie and a short bike ride (<45min) to North Sydney. In our free time we like sailing, kite surfing, hiking, volleyball and shopping. We've just moved to Sydney and are looking forward to meet you!
Hey! I'm Catie. I work full time as a graphic designer, and I also enjoy sport and going to the gym. I enjoy cooking and a nice glass of wine on the weekends. I'm tidy and respectful of personal space. I have a pet bearded dragon, who is very gentle and friendly. He spends most of his time in his terrarium, but likes to come out to watch a bit of TV in the evenings.
I'm clean, quiet, reliable lab worker, coming to Sydney on a work contract. I need a quiet room with my own bathroom and decent internet. In the lab I clean up after myself as if I were never there and that's how I will treat your place. More than happy to have a chat and unwind after work and on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but otherwise I'll be typing away on research work. Non-smoker.
Looking to start a new lease with someone. I've previously had my own place so have most of furniture, appliances, utensils, cutlery, etc. Would love to team-up with someone that is looking to make a place an inviting and fun space to come home to. I'm really house pride, so would like to live with someone like-minded. I would like to look for a place to live like a home. I work full time in North Sydney. I am laid back, friendly and respectful with a great sense of humour. I am a clean responsible person and expect the same from you. I like to read books, watch movies(not TV), going out with friends. I like cooking and baking and also I am learning guitar. My weekends always vary but I love staying social, so tend to be in and out a lot. I like to learn new languages so if you are keen to teach your language and tell me about your country's culture that would be a plus. Also I own an XBOX and a few games like FIFA, GTA etc. but I rarely play by my own. So if you like console games we could play sometimes.
I work as a Marketing Director during the day. In my down time I like to play tennis and squash, explore beaches and walks around Sydney, enjoy a decent wine (or gin!), like to socialise and (I won't lie...) occasionally slob on the sofa to watch movies :) I am clean, tidy and respectful of your privacy. I'm a non smoker and have no pets. Looking anywhere, either on a train line to North Sydney or close by, with down to earth people who are not crazy party animals however don’t mind having the odd beer together, failing as a team at a trivia night, or occasionally going on an adventure somewhere at the weekends with each other. I’d rather live with house “mates” than just rent a room with strangers :) I can move in whenever and flexible on budget for the right place. Looking to stay long term in the right place, but a minimum of 6 months ideally, as moving house is a pain!
I work full time at the McDonald's Head Office in Marketing. I have a 2 year old Cavoodle who will accompany me. Im 34 years old, i like surfing, 70s-90s rock music, the gym, hiking and travelling. Not much of a partier anymore, but do love a few glasses of wine and checking out new restaurants and cafes around Sydney. Looking for likeminded people who wouldnt mind sharing a place with a cute Cavoodle.
I'm a registered nurse so do shift work Monday-Friday. I enjoy cooking/baking in my downtime so quite often will require people to trial things I make. Not a big party or morning person but up for a chat over a late morning coffee or early arvo drinks.
