Hi Myself Anoop Somanathan Pillai PhD student from India doing my research at the Innovation campus, University of Wollongong. My studies were supported by Australian research council scholarship. I came to Australia for my PhD studies two years before. As my spouse will join me soon now I am looking for a suitable place to live with her.
I am quiet, tidy and independent. I like pets and am studying companion animal care online. My job and study keep me busy even with these being part-time! I am Vegan and enjoy cooking. Happy to share the household duties. When I get spare time I like to go for a long walk or jog, yoga, gardening. Looking for a mature, easygoing, non-party share-house. Hoping for a room with built ins or room to stack a couple of boxes of house-hold stuff!
I live a pretty quiet lifestyle, regular gym goer and beach walker or bush walker, I travel to Sydney to see my Dad as often as I can. I'm courteous and would never invite friends/family to visit without giving some notice first, I like to keep a clean house (not fanatical or neurotic about cleaning but I'm not a slob either hehehe). Not into loud music, I'm always considerate of other roomies' comfort. I love plants and am a fully qualified florist (not my full time job though), I love gardening and having indoor plants as well. I am only interested in Woonona, Bulli, or Thirroul, please don't contact me if you do not have a room available in these areas. I am open to teaming up with people only if they want to be in any of these suburbs. Please call me directly (not text) as I don't have a paid subscription at the moment so I can't read messages sent through this site.
Hey I'm a 24 year old newly graduated Physiotherapist originally from VIC coast. I have spent the last two years living in Newtown, Sydney and keen to return to the coast this year hence the move to Wollongong. Have been living in a sharehouse environment for the last 3 years and after a nice place to call home where I can come relax after work (mon-fri). I'm a pretty outgoing person and will be up for catching some live music on the weekends and going for a surf/hiking/camping etc. I'm tidy, respectful and after a chilled house with some down to earth friendly people.
Hi, my name is Caitlyn and I am starting a full time teaching position in February 2019 on the South Coast. I work anytime between 7.30am-6:00pm weekdays. I am responsible, respectful and friendly, and have an excellent 2yr rental history. I usually like to spend weekends outside, going for walks, the beach, markets, catching up with friends and playing sport. I also enjoy reading, making art and listening to music. I am originally from the Central Coast and recently spent some time living in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. I’m looking for a nice place (bedroom or whole house) with easygoing and respectful housemate/s.
-Quiet and clean couple. -Non-Smoking, no pets or kids. -Like to read and watch TV in my spare time. -Studying at UOW but looking for accomodation in Sydney not too far from Wollongong.
I'm a Counsellor who is currently working in Wollongong but living in Macarthur, hence the need to relocate. I like to be social and to have a good laugh. Heading out for coffees or drinks and relaxing outdoors is always a good option. My job is flexible 8am-8pm so I may come and go. I appreciate quiet but I will respect your space also. I'm not into huge parties- I'm getting a little old for the party and clubbing scene but nights out in good company are just as good for me as nights in with movies or Netflix. That being said, wherever I end up, I'd like to have my own friends around at times and I'm cool with house/flat mates who do the same! I'm clean and tidy and don't mind living with females or males, provided you have a great sense of humour and share some similar views. If you’re trustworthy and like living in a civil environment then message me please! I'm looking at a 9 month-12 month share. **as a side note, I am willing to pay $200 per week including bills OR + bills. Thanks! :)
Hey, I'm Ellie, I'm going into my 3rd year of university at UOW. I'm looking for four walls where I can fit the mattress mum got me Christmas 2014. I have a little over four years rental experience, and I'm looking for a calm and wholesome environment to share with housemates. I like going to the beach, paying my bills on time, and rearranging furniture. I live pretty tidily, and I want to be social with the people I live with, within everyone's comfort levels.
I am from the sunshine coast in Queensland and will be moving down to start uni at UOW hopefully mid feb. Im studying a Bachelor of Performance. Im very clean tidy and easy going. Love a good netflix night and am easily convinced to a night on the town. Also a Bomb dot com cook.
I work full time with FIre and Rescue NSW on a rotating roster and on my days off I am usually adventuring in the outdoors - hiking, biking, canyoning, climbing, etc. I am neat, quiet, clean and not home a whole lot because of work and my love of travelling. I'm looking for a chilled out home that is neat, clean and sunny where I can relax after a busy shift at work. I'm easy going and like to be social, but also value my quiet alone time. I don't mind the odd drink but usually only on social occasions. I am not a fan of smoking at all. I am ideally looking for a place with secure storage so I can store my 2 bicycles, surfboard and camp gear. I am flexible with a move in date.
Hi 👋 Ryan here, I think I’m a quality individual if you’re looking for someone whom is respectful and always tidy and cleaning up the place for a zen like atmosphere.. I’m all about the good vibes. As for what I do, I am a bouncer/security guard on most weekends and late weekdays. I am studying psychology at UoW (2nd year) I am also an aspiring MMA fighter so I am training most evenings of the week. I like to keep a healthy space in all facets; a holistic way of life. I am looking for dudes and dudettes who are like minded or at least tidy and respectful of privacy. Peace homies 🙏🏽
My name is Vanessa I am a 34 yo Australian female currently living in Albury New South Wales (NSW) 2640, whom will be moving into the Wollongong region mid January. 2018 has proven to be a challenging year for my family - with both of my sisters spending time in hospital; it is due to these recent events, I felt compelled to make the decision to move back to my home turf and help support my family. I am currently looking for work, I have a background in hospitality, dental, nursing and tourism so plenty of avenues available to me. I plan to continue my studies in environmental science and should only need to attend class 1 day a week as it stands. If it matters am vegan for spiritual reasons, but do not mind at all if people around me are not. I am not religious but I am spiritual, I am fascinated by energy, the planet...I guess this is what drew me to work with the environment and study the particular course I am doing. I used to volunteer with a local Koala Conservation Project not too far from Wollongong and I hope to return if time permits. I love Yoga, Meditation, Reading and Hiking; I often part-take in yoga classes, meditation groups and workshops, spiritual workshops or retreats. I would very much like outdoor adventure activities like hiking/camping to become a bigger part of my life. I have been a member of hiking clubs in the past, a history of dancing although that is all done a dusted with but I find I get that same buzz when I practice yoga. I used to watch sport and be a little more sport oriented when I was younger but that has fizzled out as I have gotten older. I have an 8 yo male burmilla cat named Xander, because of his age he usually spends most his day sleeping inside.
I like to play chess and cards. I like to spend time with my brothers and family that live in the Wollongong region. I am quiet and reserved I am not a party person. I like pets but do not have any of my own. I am however allergic to cats and it flares up my asthma.
I’m a 21 year old female who is full of life. I love keeping myself fit, eating a healthy diet and being creative through floristry. I’m a huge outdoor/beach lover and spend most of time outside. I love interacting with new people and can talk/socialise with anyone. Being tidy is something I pride myself on and I respect the belongings and privacy of others. I love to just chill out, but I also love to go out and experience everything that comes along with being young!
Hey! I’m currently a full time student at UOW and I’m looking to move off campus. I’m super friendly and clean as well. I don’t have any pets but I’m not opposed to living with them! I try and get out as much as possible and spend a lot of time on campus so I won’t be in your hair all the time :)
23 year old female. Currently looking for a new home with like minded people. Currently working in bush regeneration and just finished studying conservation and land management. And about to start Marine biology at UOW. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 17 and am more than happy to provide rental references if needed. Am considerate, tidy and respectful of others space and belongings but am also a sociable person and would love to make a meaningful friendship with future housemates. In my spare time I’m usually at some sort of music gig, at the beach or in nature or getting creative in some sort of way with some beautiful friends. Please feel free to send me a message if I sound like the kind of person you’d get along with and we can get things happening.
My name is Alexander, my nickname is Sasha. I'm 25 in May and looking to move down to the Illawarra area from Sydney after a long time travelling. Next year I'm studying Aged Care at Wollongong TAFE and am currently seeking employment, however I am self funded in the mean time. I'm laid back and easy going, I enjoy making & listening to music, reading and writing, animals, movies, socialising, cooking and am looking at places to volunteer in the area. I’m sociable, relaxed, clean in communal areas and love a chat/meal.
Hey there beautiful people, Looking for a house mate maybe two, who i can create a wonderful home with! I wish them to be clean, respectful and fun. Overall I like a peaceful household, where I can study, meditate and reflect. If you have a pet, then I will love them to death 😆 At home I enjoy being social or just Netflix and chillaxin, don't mind the occasional drink, but not much of a party dude. I also love surfing, playing board games, discussing the meaning of things and having a good D&M. I'm also a very good listener! I must live walking distance to the beach and acquire a good kitchen, cause I love cooking! 😋 Some additional criteria: -House not apartment. -A quiet space to lay my yoga mat. -An outside area, garden to lay in, entertain people. -Internet is a must for study. -Non-smokers only please. I'm studying Physics at UOW this year, as well as practice yoga and other spiritual 'energy' stuff, but not overly wierd about it lol Keen to move by end Jan/start Feb, so please get in touch ASAP. Or call me 😉 Thanks for reading 😋
I am in my final 6 months of a Journalism and Communications and Media degree, writing part time for an online magazine and come with a super friendly, sleepy and loveable black cat. I like reading, binge-watching, baking and me-time, but also love a good chat and chill.
Casual worker at a bar and bottle shop. Like to live a pretty quiet life so usually just home to sleep and take it easy, also to cook. Spend a lot of time outside or at mates. Very clean and easy to get along with, respectful of peoples space. Surf all the time. From Austinmer. Looking for a quiet share house with chill roommates.
Looking for my new home with like minded roomies! I'm currently living alone and would like to move into a share house as soon as possible. I need to give my existing real estate 3 weeks notice but can be flexible with my move in date. A lil about myself - I'm a 23 year old female working currently as a model (I also receive welfare so can guarantee my reliability with rent payments etc), I'm within the queer community, I'm fairly quiet and enjoy my down time but would love to join a household with people who don't mind having a chat and a cuppa (or something heavier) together every now and again, I'm friendly and easy going, clean and considerate. I'm also a vegetarian but it's totally fine if you're not 😉 I'm into spirituality, psychology, nature and art, fashion and beauty, music and having a good boogie, and just enjoying my time here all around. I'm a smoker + 420 active/friendly. I come along with my older indoor cat named Faerie - she's a desexed female, super friendly, house trained and will provide you with all the love!! If I sound like someone you'd vibe with, please feel free to send me a message and let's get something happening ✨
Moving from Canberra I’m a nurse furthering my study at uni as well as working part time Love to chill out and have my own space during the week/while at work but love to socialise and get out when I have the time...Always up for a beach day, movie night or a good cheese platter and wine! Message me if interested in sharing a house together :)
Hi! I am a Dietitian who is also completing a PhD, while my partner Hayden also works and is soon to complete his MBA studies. In our spare time we love being as active as possible and enjoy catching up with friends and family. We are both independent and respectful of people's privacy, but are also extremely friendly, walm and inclusive. Hoping to rent a room until mid 2020. A single car space is preferred, but not essential. Summary: Busy professionals, respectful and down to earth. We look forward to meeting you.
I run my own business concreting and landscaping, love getting in the water surfing every chance possible. Save my partying for the weekend. Music is played aloud most nights, just looking for my own space, and a safe place to get my truck off the street and store some tools on property etc
Hi! I'll be moving to Wollongong for work in 2019 and am looking for a nice share house with friendly, open-minded and considerate housemates located in central Wollongong / close to the beach. I will be working a full time professional job, and am looking for medium to long-term accommodation. I'm easy going, and have lived in multiple shared houses in the past which I enjoyed. When I'm not working I'm pretty social and enjoy a chat (with a drink or two!). I've travelled a lot and am pretty open minded, I like to meet new people and hear about their stories. If you have a listing that you think would suit, message me and we'll be in touch :)
Hi! I'm a graphic design student currently living and working in Wollongong. I am very easy going, good at chipping in with the housework and chores, and easy to live with :) I like to spend my time outdoors - weekends and mornings I like to get out to the beach and go camping and hiking. I'm only looking for something short-term as in June/July this year I'll be heading off to Mexico (yay!) Anyways, I'm looking for a home that starts the year off right with good company and lots of adventures!
