I am clean and somewhat tidy, but not over the top. More than happy to pull my weight around the house. I am responsible and honest. I like to live my life, my way - so I have no issue with how you live yours - unless it impacts on me. I am friendly but not needy. I like my own time and my own area but am happy to sit down for dinner, chat and go our own ways. I am looking to share a home with someone who has similar views on sharing a house. I would prefer to have only one housemate, but am open to possibly 2 others, max! My own bathroom would be preferable but not a necessity. I don't mind food sharing as long as it remains even. If I am paying for heaps more than i eat, then I would prefer my own food. If everyone is happy to share equally, I am happy. I am neither vegan nor vegetarian, however, I am not fussed on eating vegan or vegetarian foods as I don't eat heaps anyway. I also have a fur baby named Louis. He is a 5 year old white maltese shih-tsu, who is totally house trained and very much a lap dog. He loves people and cuddles and is great with other dogs of any age and cats to. He is really easy going and so quiet you even know he was there. Even when people say they don't like little dogs, Louis wins them over with his chilled out little personality. If you think we could make a good house team, feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks!
I'm surprised to be 49yrs old! I'm moving from Gippsland to be closer to family. I have a keen interest in animal welfare, but no pets. My houseplants are quiet things. I'm mostly quiet, but do enjoy eccentricity and playing with ideas and stories. I like cooking, gardening, am currently an unskilled drawerer(? and speller, evidently), English comedy and John Clarke humour are my favourites, and I am aiming for 'optimism' as a character trait. I'd love a home for the longer term.
Hi my name is Jackie, I have gone back to university to study to be a Paramedic and I am also working as a Medical Scientist. I am currently living in Montmorency and hoping to stay in the area, as I have grown up here. I have been told I am laid back, easy to talk to, and courteous of others. My mum also trained me well - I am very clean 😉 I enjoy the outdoors, exercising, catching up with friends and playing with my two little dogs. I am looking for friendly, easy-going, respectful and clean housemates.
Hi I'm just looking for a place for a few nights a week as I'm always out and staying at my girlfriend's when home I'll just be in my room keeping to myself.
I'm a personal trainer that will be moving for work in Heidelberg West at the end of July/start of August. Looking for friendly and preferably female housemates! I'm not a big partier - much more of a quiet beer on the couch kind of girl - but also enjoy a good social gathering (just not every weekend) I'm a clean person and keep any mess to my own room. More than happy to take part in a cleaning roster My only really regular visitor would be my boyfriend occasionally who lives almost 2 hours away. Message me with any questions and hopefully we can have an awesome housemate experience!!
Hi All!!! I’m Bhavna. 32. I work almost full time for a bank branch (So background checks come with!) I prefer a short lease - only to ensure we get along. I can bet a dollar a dime, no one wants to live with people they don't get along with. Lease length is negotiable, of course. As a housemate, I’m clean, friendly, AMAZING with boundaries (yeah, I like that about me), sometimes disagreeable, but always respectful. I intend to use the kitchen for about 12 out of 21 meals a week (proper cooking about thrice a week, tops). I don’t have any particular dietary exclusions and am happy for everyone to follow their own. I am big on using dustbins, cleaning products and refrigerators, so don’t worry. Things I absolutely need to be able to move in: 1. Refrigerator with a functional freezer - reasonably sized, depending on how many of us are in the house. 2. Washing machine - a functional one, please. 3. BIR or Some sort of wardrobing solution 4. Gas cooking and heating 5. Pet friendliness (I may have to dog-sit for my parents about 3 days in six months). 6. Off street parking. Things that I am flexible on: 1. Private bathroom (I promise to keep a shared bathroom hygienic and clean, and expect the same from my new awesome housemate-to-be) 2. Dishwasher 3. Dryer 4. Furniture (I do have my own bedroom suite - I can work around that though). (I shall update these lists as I go). Hit me up for more questions that you may have, and I’ll ask the ones I do!!!
I'm a 34yo non-smoker Aussie female, striving to incorporate more yoga and awareness into Life. I love animals, travelling, and plants. I used to work full-time as an R&D scientist, but then threw off the bow lines to volunteer in Latin America for two years, and then did a working holiday in Europe for another two! These experiences helped me re-assess my life values. I now enjoy doing pet-sitting and the odd housekeeping job for a living and am excited to be starting with The Wilderness Society early July (though I am a firm believer that one is not defined by their 9-5!) Passionate about nature, the environment and reducing waste, I appreciate a clean, calm and peaceful home sanctuary (Salt lamps and indoor plants, yup, this is my kinda style!) I have zero interest in loud or frequent parties, excessive alcohol use/abuse, drugs, smoking or disrespectful housemates and would prefer these to not be in my home environment. I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I mostly cook & eat vegetarian (with the occasional fish). I enjoy acro yoga, baking the healthiest banana bread my housemates can stand, going for barefoot walks in parks, and sailing on old wooden boats (among a few other things!) I like to keep a clean and tidy home. And appreciate housemates for whom this is also second nature (or at the very least put a good effort in to the common areas!) I believe in not taking anything personally, and not making assumptions (two of my favourite of The Four Agreements, which I strive to live by).
I'm a friendly, bubbly person who enjoys cooking, having a laugh and the occasional glass of wine. I enjoy the company of others but also enjoy a bit of down time and am very respectful of people's privacy.

Hi, I'm Hannah from Germany. From July to November I spend a semester abroad in Melbourne at La Trobe University and am looking for a comfortable place to stay (a furnished room with a bathroom and access to the kitchen). Some information about me: I love good food (especially healthy) and cooking, in my spare time I like to do sports and activities with friends to explore Melbourne and Victoria, I am very tidy and don't smoke, I am an animal lover and like to be outside. If this suits your lifestyle, I would be happy to get to know you and your accommodation!
Hey guys, We are looking for a place for towards the end of the year or start of next year to move into. Brayden is from South Australia and will be moving down at the end of the year. Emily is from Melbourne and has lived in different parts of Australia, including remote cattle stations. We are both well mannered, polite and clean up after our selves. We get along well with people but also enjoy alone time. We have been dating for two years. We are both nerds and love gaming, watching tv shows, and things like that. Both of us are still studying and are looking for work but school is our top priority.
Hello! My name is Ciara and I was born and raised in Alaska. I am living in Melbourne with my boyfriend Sam who is from here. We met in Melbourne a few years ago when I studied abroad and lived in Alaska before this. Sam is a student at Deakin and plans to graduate in the summer. I hope to start a master's degree in January. We enjoy drinking beer or wine, cooking vegetarian food and just hanging out. In the summer, we like to hike and camp. Sam plays tennis and coaches. Sam is 21 years old and I am 24. Sam has a car and will need a parking spot if there is no street parking. I do not have a car so it would be nice to be close to public transportation (preferably the Hurstbridge train line). It would be convenient to have a full kitchen with a dish washer. We love dogs and can care for them. We are looking to pay around $150 each or $300 for both of us per week. Please send us a message if you have a place in Northern Melbourne!
Hi Im looking for a drama free home where housemates respect privacy but also have the occasional banter. Im a very private ,fastidious, laid back person. Im looking for a place where i will have space to work on my paintings as i am an artist.I cannot live with untidy individuals who donot clean up after themselves or who donot respect the space they reside within.I tend to do alot of the cleaning as i enjoy it. I am looking for a furnished room, and i also have other furniture,i would love it if it could be utilised or if not ,then space to store it in.I also am a night owl ,so would like housemates who are similar or who atleast dont mind. I would like to learn more about sustainable living and perhaps one day be part of creating an old school community valued tiny house village.
