Hey my names Sean. I'm looking to move into a place from the start of October. I work in South West Brisbane so somewhere in that general area. I'm friendly, clean after myself and are respectful to other housemates. I like to do my own thing and also enjoy being social with my housemates. A quietish house over a party house is preferred. I'm up early and go to bed early with my full time delivery job (mon-fri). In my free time I like to exercise, play guitar, explore nature and hang out in the city. I have allergies so I cant live with cats or in really old, dusty wooden houses (like the one I'm in atm)
I am friendly, easy going, and enjoy being social. Whilst I don't mind the odd beverage after work, I am also happy to just sit and read or watch tv. My passions include, travelling, cooking and experiencing new things. I work in the travel industry on a rotating roster so may not always be around. I have lived in a share house before and understand the importance of personal space and cleanliness.
LOOKING FOR AN ALL FEMALE HOUSE I'm an 18 year old, easy going girl who keeps to herself but still enjoys socialising. My ideal location would be somewhere in the Annerley area but surrounding suburbs are fine too :) I'm currently living with my boyfriend and his parents but I’m wanting to move into my own place so I can make some friends. I'm currently studying commerce at Griffith. I have no pets or anything that would be coming with me, except a boyfriend who would stay over maybe 2-3 nights a week (he's 20 and house trained so he's nothing to worry about though). I'm just looking for some fun people who won't mind when I don't feel like going out partying every weekend and who won't steal my food :)
I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse around mid-late October onwards, with move-in date flexible. I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Queensland, where I also tutor par-time. I'd describe myself more of an introvert than a party person, but I love a good wine or a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon. I generally go to UQ about 3-4 times a week and otherwise work at home with my dog. I have a gorgeous 2 year old west highland terrier called Louie! He is desexed, up to date on all vaccinations, etc. He is generally a pretty chill little dude to live with and likes to sleep and sunbake as he pleases. He is an indoor dog and has always had access to common areas (e.g. living room). He's a friendly little guy, so if you too have a dog I'm sure they'd be great friends, but it would be great for them to meet first.
Two years ago, as an Australian permanent resident, I left Australia to go back to America in order to be closer to my Dad, who was dying of cancer. This past May 2017, he ended his battle with cancer and passed. During these past couple of years, I have had the privilege of working for some prominent companies here in America. I am an award-winning Manager and Paralegal with 12 years experience and well equipped with an MBA/MS. I'll be arriving in Brisbane on 19 September 2017 and will be looking for work. Looking for somewhere to start my life again in Australia.....in a new city. My goal is to work and save money to purchase a flat in the area whilst having a room. Previously lived in Sydney and Newcastle for over 5 years (but these places didn't suit my lifestyle - I am laid back and friendly). I'm American, a gay male, 40 years old with a very outgoing personality and also like my privacy as well. Fitness and travel are important to me and it would be great to be around like-minded folks. I have done the university student thing so ideally, I'd like to be around professionals who'd enjoy a happy hour or two and maybe a night out on the weekends. I'm new to Brisbane and would like to meet other like-minded people. Lets meet and see if we click! Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions. Regards, Ian
hullo! i'm looking for a house that feels like home :)) i appreciate when you want ~space~ but would also love to hang out and watch/do/make things. that said, it would be rad to respect dyonisuss (the god of alcohol) in weekends too ;) i currently work full time at a job that i hate and am looking to study psychology next year. (i am a smoker, but i won't smoke inside because that's just silly) hope to be a part of the team x ps. i'm not a creep i literally just don't have any decent photos of myself
I'm a Biomedical Engineering Masters Student doing research at UQ (AIBN specifically). I'm from NZ but have been travelling for the last 6 years. I love running, hiking and sleeping. Always clean, love a good catch up with the flat mates (wine included sometimes), but can be rarely home. Oh and I love to bake and share.
I work full-time as a creative professional in an Advertising agency. I like to have fun, be active, socialise and enjoy a few laughs. I'm respectful of other's privacy but do also enjoy the company of others. I enjoy doing creative activities and am open to new and exciting experiences. I also like to be neat and tidy.
20yr old Not studying at the moment but will next year so just working and saving. I work as bar tender in CBD and just pub work so seeing and greeting new faces isn't a problem, I'm chilled and easy to talk to. I am respectful and tidy, always keeping common areas clean and keep room organised. I mostly work nights so days I'm sleeping or just chilling out. Enjoy sport, keen to go for GC beach days for surfing and swimming in summer 😎
Darcie and I are two lively, respectful and open-minded pals looking for a roommate to team up with us for a house in the East Brisbane/ Annerley area. We are looking for someone who is financially stable, reliable and tidy, but also friendly and always up for a little bit of fun. Darcie and I both work in hospitality, and we are both very social, love live music and having friends over. Darcie is currently studying at university; I will be returning next year, so this will still be a very student-positive space. We are looking for a 3 bedroom place roughly $450 a week and are wanting to move late October/early November. We are proud to be both members and allies of the LGBTIQ community, so it is important to us that you too are open-minded on this point. If you think this is you and you'd fit in with our lifestyle, we'd love to hear from you! P.s. Added bonus - in addition to our company you'll have a super adorable kitten who is basically like a little puppy
Hi, my name is Shauna. I am a full-time working professional and I work near the City. Due to the nature of my workplace and role I live on-site for 4 nights of a week most of the year, so I would be a very quiet housemate! I have a long-time partner who will sometimes stay with me, however he lives elsewhere. I am looking for a tidy, kind and overall positive like-minded person to live with (or people). I am interested in living in the Mansfield/Mt Gravatt/Yeronga/Moorooka area due to the fact that I do not want to be more then a 20min drive from my work place (I have a car). I look forward to hearing from you!
I love to keep a clean tidy house and I love a beer and a chill on my days off. I'm easy going and friendly. Just want to find a cool house where me and my awesome cat can come and settle down.
Hey! So i've found some great 2 bedroom studios or granny flats and am looking for someone to share it with me! I'm out going, fun, hard working and best of all never really home so its like living alone really! (: But i like to have relaxed dinners! Am looking for someone who wants to team up w me! its 350 per week so 125 per person!
(URGENT) Hi! I'm Alejandro. 23yo. Looking for a place to enter Sept 10. I'm tidy and responsible, sociable, can cook up to some degree, love music and somewhat play guitar. I'm not a party person, but I can enjoy having a drink from time to time. I'm a nice person to live with, or so I've been told! I'll be working at UQ for 4 months and starting a PhD on January 2018. I would love to stay for a long time, but as of today I only have the first four months 100% confirmed. Looking for a place to stay and find friends! Hope we can have great moments together! Finally in the city, so we can start properly doing this thing.
I'm an single , amiable , common sense, tidy, social person who likes a laugh and an occasional wine. Self employed as a landscape gardener, i am also a musician and actor. Enjoy live theatre and live music, Game of Thrones and Golf.
I am a newly graduated chemistry student working full time as an analytical chemist. I am quiet, clean and polite. I enjoy playing bass guitar, seeing live music, bush walks and staying active. I'm looking for social housemates that also have respect for personal space.
I'm a 31 year old professional, value my privacy, peace and quiet but enjoy sharing a meal from time to time. If I'm not at work, I'm pursuing interests, catching up with friends, running errands or relaxing with a book so I'm not at home all that much. I'm seeking a like minded person, a professional that is mature and settled in life, looking for a quiet space to call home, not into parties and has discernment when it comes to who they invite over. A lawyer, surgeon, shift work medical professional would be an ideal fit lifestyle wise, as I'm not around a lot either and when I am, it's basically down time. Sharing longer term would be great but I'm open to six months to begin with - I'm open to discussing this. Im seeking a large room with ensuite / own bathroom (I have a queen bed, desk, bookcase and would love a space for me to also have a large chair, ideally) I'm leaning towards seeking a fellow lady to share a home with but a tidy, respectful guy would also work well too.
18 year old Dental Nurse who works full time. Likes to be clean and tidy, values personal space and respect of other's belongings. Quiet and friendly. Doesn't drink/smoke/hold large social gatherings or parties. Has a fairly large fish tank. Will be be kept in my room (or living area if housemates desire) 🙂
My name is Grant. I am a 48year old. I am a fairly quiet & reserved type of person. I am friendly & respectful of others but I do tend to keep to myself. I am neat and tidy, and I do clean up after myself. I work casually in South Brisbane three days a week. I suppose you could say I am semi-retired. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't party or do drugs of any kind. I am fairly fit because I do a lot of walking and roller skating. I try and get to the skating rink at least twice a week.......more if I am able :) I don't have a car so getting around keeps me fit. BTW I am gay if that matters at all. I am looking for a place within 10kms of the city centre (preferably 5kms) with easy access to public transport (train & bus). It would be nice to find a studio or one bedroom apartment, but for my budget a room in a share house is good enough (although the less people I have to share with the better). I don't have any furniture so a furnished place would be nice. I would also need internet (preferably wifi) because I spend a lot of time online. Air-conditioning is nice as well. The last couple of places that I have rented have had everything (power, wifi etc.) included in the rent & even though it probably costs a little more I don't mind cause it's easier. If you have a place that you think would suit me then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Joel, 31. Neat, tidy, sociable, very easy to get along with, employed full time. Enjoy going to gigs, markets and hanging out with pals on the weekend. Not a massive weirdo, no overpowering smells and able to hold a conversation with a fellow human. Looking for somewhere pet-friendly, with at least a small courtyard, as I'm currently on the lookout for a medium-sized, sociable rescue doggo. Ideally own bathroom, but flexible on that for the right place/people!
Hi, I'm Eliza - a 24 year old female who is looking for a room in a share house :) I am very friendly and easy going and I am a well trained housemate. I am looking for accommodation until late January as I am moving to Canberra in February for work.
I'm a 23 year old Registered Nurse from Brisbane taking a gap 6 months, working at an organic food store in Rocklea for now! I'm super clean and respectful, cook mostly Mexican food and curry, rock climb and see friends in my time off. I'm looking for some clean, energetic housemates with lots of stuff going on and things to do!
