Hi, I'm returning to Brisbane after 18mths away and would love to move back closer to the city for work and play, but not too close - I formerly lived and worked in West End. I'm a conscientious and respectful housemate, and am looking to share with someone with similar values.
I like to relax and recharge when I'm home. So if you like living with a reserved and respectful human I would be a great fit. On my vacant days, I enjoy hiking and cafe hopping yet at the same time I am a hermit whom sleeps like a koala.I enjoy cleaning common areas given that my housemates are have common acknowledge of cleanliness.
Working fulltime, looking for somewhere to live closer to the City. Extremely social - Breakfast is my favourite meal, I enjoy coffee, dinners, drinking and catching up with friends on the weekends. No pets, extremely clean, looking to split all bills. Holidaying through Europe until the 23rd June but looking to move as soon as I get back!
Hi! My name is Kesh, 25 years old. I am currently studying my postgraduate degree in Human Services at Griffith Uni and working as a casual in a local fast food place. I am clean and respectful of privacy and can also socialise. I play video games, watch TV and read books for fun. I don't smoke and party so I am the ideal housemate. I am looking for a place with a spacious room near a bus stop/station as I do not have a car.
Hey, I'm a 21 year old guy from India - so a good stereotype would be if Raj from The Big Bang Theory made out with Dev from Master of None (which is to say, I'm into science, I occasionally read, love video games, have a quiet social life, and hoping to say Allora alot while I'm there.) I'm coming down to do a Masters at the University of Queensland, and looking for a place to stay for a short term while I get used to the city and consider my options. A little bit about myself: While in India I wrote and directed a few short-films/web-series - and occasionally performed stand up comedy. I like to be clean and organized , and love most kind of music, and I am pretty tolerable with almost all (or no) religious believes - so that would not be a problem. I also binge watch alot of shows, and as far as fun is concerned, I like to play/watch Badminton/Cricket/Football - or go on a walk, or shoot timelapses. Or sleep. Mostly sleep. I'm a party animal in that regard.
Hey! I'll be looking for a new place to live at the start of JULY, I would love to meet some people who are looking to do the same, or have a room available. Both my roommates are moving on, one overseas and the other inner state to start her career. I work full time in Darra so I would like to stay south of the river, but still close enough to the city/valley. I wouldn't mind living with either male/s or female/s, as long as they are around the same age. Preferably no more than 2 roommates. I've got a few things for a share house, fridge, kitchen stuff, dining table n chairs, outdoor setting, etc. Avid Triple J listener that loves checking out gigs n festivals. I'm always keeping busy with catching up with mates n making plans. Love a cheeky bev on the weekends, and always down to have a chat after a long day at work. Keen to meet some new friends :) $175 or $195 bills included. Feel free to ask me anything !
I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
INTJ, introvert, love nights chilling at home, don't mind going out on occasion, quiet until I get to know people. I have a ragdoll cat called Eevie who is friendly but is a mostly indoor cat (I vacuum frequently so shedding will be minimal). Also enjoy a good glass of wine. I clean as I go, non-smoker. I'm a nurse and do work shift work from time to time so need someone who is mindful of when I need to sleep during the day. Ideally would like a garage space, bath tub (my relax time!) and air con. Honestly been a while since I've been apart of a share house however I am mindful of others space and privacy, and I am responsible with being on time with rent and bills. Ideally don't want more than sharing with 2 other people.
Hi everyone, I have just landed a graduate job in Brisbane CBD and am making the move from Adelaide to Brisbane. Interested in accommodation that is close to public transport into the city. Also looking at maximum 200 pw including utilities/internet.
Hey there ! I'm relocating from Townsville to Brisbane . Will be working in the city full time. I'm clean , tidy and do like to chat and socialise but do respect other peoples privacy. Will be needing a place asap :)
Hi, I'm Kyle! I'm looking for a place to call home for the next several months or so. I'm working part time in a family business as well as studying at a campus in West End. I've got a stable budget and I keep everything fairly clean. I like typical guy stuff, playing games and hanging out with cool people. Are you a cool people? We should totally hang out.
I'm moving down from Toowoomba in the coming months as I'm working in the city Mon - Fri. I'm neat, quiet and self sufficient. Looking for a big house with a yard for my two fur babies. I have everything I need to set up a house, all you will need is bedroom gear. Looking for a long term rental and would prefer setting it up from th start and making a nice little home!
Hello future roommate I'm a tidy easy going guy who enjoys going out or just staying in watching Netflix. Also I work everyday so from 8 till 5 you won't see me. I like to keep fit so someone who lives the same lifestyle would be great !
Currently living with my parents on Tamborine Mountain and travelling to uni in South Brisbane. Would like to move closer to school. I have a small dog. His name is Budweiser, super chilled and friendly. He is non destructive and goes everywhere with me. I keep to myself, but friendly. I spend a lot of time away from home but somedays I just like to nap and do nothing. Cruisey, good cook and non confrontational. I love food, so if you like food we will be besties!
UQ student in my last semester of my masters degree :)
I'm relocating to Brisbane for a full time job in health care. I am a very neat and tidy person. I enjoy socialising but really like to have some independence and chill time after work and on weekends. Would prefer to have my own bathroom and unfurnished bedroom if possible.
I am a 21 year old UQ student who is looking for a friendly environment to live in from mid-late July. I am tidy, but wouldn't consider myself to be a neat freak and do try to be as considerate as possible. I love travelling, team sports and baking, which means that if you live with me treats will be shared.
Have lived out of home since 2009. I am tidy and clean, good with money and pay bills on time. I do have a pet turtle - She mostly keeps to her Shell-f. I work on the northside 5 days a week with children and mostly keep to myself.
French girl and future Double-Degree student @UQ Intend to live the Australian life to the fullest Travel addict, music lover and sport fan - also, I like food Very friendly, tidy and dynamic!
Myself & James have recently relocated from Melbourne to be closer to relatives & for work. Hoping to find accomodation within a reasonable distance to Fortitude Valley, also a space preferably with our own bathroom. We are very neat & tidy people (we have rented prior so we do have a rental record with an agency), we do enjoy a bit of quiet time after work, I'd also say that we are an easy-going couple that can respect other peoples privacy. We love to socialise with friends & family, also going out to try new cafes & keeping active (adventure walks, gym etc.) on the weekend. Our length of stay is pretty flexible the minimum would be 4 months, but most likely longer with the right housemate/s. If you think we could be suited as your housemates, feel free to message us :)
I like to be social wether its boardgames, sitting down for a meal or just watching tv together but I also like to keep to myself sometimes and just have some quiet reading time or what not. I have the most adorable little baby girl. I'm a massive geek and you will usually catch me watching anime or doctor who and such. I love to cook for others and can be quite creative and handy with diy projects too.
Very sociable young guy that loves stimulating conversation, health and sports. I'm always keen for outdoor adventures like hiking, camping and beach trips and really laid back. I've just finished my masters in dietetics and work several jobs part time (full time load) as well as private practice, so I like to chill out and chat in my little downtime. I also love pets so would love a furry little housemate, but have none myself. I've lived by myself and house share situations for a few years so I'm well versed in cleaning and living with others.
I'm a positive, open-minded, adventurous newbie to Brisbane! I'm moving interstate from Newcastle, NSW to start my master's degree in conservation science at UQ. I'm going to be studying pretty hard, and hopefully working a job on the side, but will want to make time to get to know my new flatmates and explore my new home city! I like getting active, cooking and having a chat with a good glass of red. I'm a tidy, considerate person to live with. I would love to live in walking distance to UQ's St Lucia campus, a short public transport ride away will also work. I adore animals and am happy to live with them, just not an indoor cat as I'm a little allergic to them. My course starts on the 29th of June, and as I've just found out I'm doing it, my move to Brisbane will be not long before that date! While I'd ideally like to be settled in a new place before the 29th, it's late notice and I'm keen to find the right people to live with, so hit me up if you're a great person/group of people with a house available anytime before or after the end of June :) can meet over Skype if that works for you. I'm also interested in short term stays close to UQ which I can use to get myself settled and look for a place in person. Thanks!
