It's an odd old house, with a decent sized loungeroom, dining room/library/parlour, fully-fitted kitchen and HUGE backyard. Please note: There is only one bedroom going, but you have a choice. The small(er) bedroom ($185/wk) was previously used as a study. It's still a lovely room, it's right next to the bathroom and has a window. The larger bedroom ($208/wk) has a window wrapping the corner of the room. It has an Australiana/art deco ceiling rose, if that's something you're into. Couples applying, the larger bedroom would be recommended ($228/wk). Bills (Power shop for gas & electricity) will be split evenly. There's no air-con and only a heater in the loungeroom, but it works pretty well. There's a number of fans we use to cool the house in summer. Smokers are fine, please not inside. This maison de bizarre is close to Bell St, High St Preston and some amazing Indian restaurants as well as Merri Creek. Features: Huge backyard with BBQ, trusty hills hoist, small shed, two compost bins, vege patch, herb planter. 🍅 🌿 🍏 TV, SNES, record player, some board games, NBN, Volcano, sodastream that I'm very happy to share. I would prefer to live with someone who has lived in a sharehouse, or by themselves, before. But I'm open-minded, so if you'd like to live with a non-binary vegetarian who enjoys a good boogie let's dice this cabbage. A key-feature of this house will be my dog, Harry. He'll probably stay for a few days each week, sometimes longer. He's a 3 yr old kelpie cross that loves to run at the park, not play fetch "properly" and learn new tricks. But at the end of the day, when the sun is down and the dust has settled he just wants to laze on the couch and receive pats. He's great with other dogs and is a fantastic dog-sitter, also. Attached is his CV. Dog and other pet owners welcome, I would like to get chickens soon. 🐔 The lease ends in September, so you will have to apply through the real estate agent also. I hope that we get along, because this space has a lot of potential. More pictures to come (still re-organising)
I don't have much stuff, so no extra clutter. I love drawing and painting and all things colourful and I am studying Patisserie, so guaranteed sweet treats up for grabs! I've lived in a share house before so i know the ropes, and am superrrr easy going :)

I am clean and somewhat tidy, but not over the top. More than happy to pull my weight around the house. I am responsible and honest. I like to live my life, my way - so I have no issue with how you live yours - unless it impacts on me. I am friendly but not needy. I like my own time and my own area but am happy to sit down for dinner, chat and go our own ways. I am looking to share a home with someone who has similar views on sharing a house. My own bathroom would be preferable but not a necessity. I don't mind food sharing as long as it remains even. If I am paying for heaps more than i eat, then I would prefer my own food. If everyone is happy to share equally, I am happy. I am neither vegan nor vegetarian, however, I am not fussed on eating vegan or vegetarian foods as I don't eat heaps anyway. I also have a fur baby named Louis. He is a 6 year old white maltese shih-tsu, who is totally house trained and very much a lap dog. He loves people and cuddles and is great with other dogs of any age and cats too. He is really easy going and so quiet you even know he was there. Even when people say they don't like little dogs, Louis wins them over with his chilled out little personality. If you think we could make a good house team, feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks!
Hellloo :) (waving hand) I am an open and easy going soul. The three things i love most are people, art and the environment. I have a little bit of experience in share houses, as i have lived in one for more than 2 and a half years. I consider myself as responsible and tidy so you’ll never have to clean up after me. Typically, i am completely sociable and love having any and every kind of conversation. Whether that’s over a meal, herbal tea or drinks i am down! I love the feeling of community and the idea of sharing space with others, with that being said, i also enjoy my own energy from time to time and can respect the personal spaces of others too. As an (LGBTIQA+) identifying person, having a safe space and caring environment is at my core. I believe in acknowledging everyone’s needs and putting in the work to make a house a home. At the moment i am working casually in front of house spaces and engaging in community initiatives. If you would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to message me. Faith :)
Hi my name is Jordan, I am a 22 year old psychology student currently completing my final year of my undergraduate degree. I study at Deakin University and when I'm not studying I am working as a general labourer (Carpentry work) When I am not studying or working I enjoy music production, playing guitar and going to the gym. I generally stick to myself and am a clean housemate but I am quite outgoing and don't mind having a quiet beverage or two when schedules allow
I'm Muireann, and I'm looking for somewhere to settle in and call home in the inner north with 2 or 3 other housemates, preferably similar age or a little older. Currently studying full-time (RMIT - M, Tu, F), working casually (Savers), and freelancing on the side (events). I'm ready to interview and move. The vibe I'm after is: homey, cozy, a bit social, and with people who understand their own boundaries and respect others' boundaries. Open and honest communication is best - reading between the lines doesn't always work for me. I'd like the odd gathering or to have friends around, but I'm not after a wild party house. I come with skills in cleaning, cooking (not a chef, but not terrible) and replacing toilet paper rolls. I also come with a waffle iron, but not much in the way of furniture (I could potentially buy something the house needs). I would suit housemates who prefer a clean, tidy, fairly well-presented home, with some knack for recycling. Having an animal around would be ideal - if there's not already an animal in the house I would like to look at the possibility of fostering a cat or dog. Please if you have any burning questions let me know!
