So i cannot continue to live with them. So I need to find a home by mid Feb as that is when the lease ends. Looking to rent long term. Would love to be surrounded by nature, close by the hills/mountains or beach but in saying so i am open up to other locations ( : I am an artist who loves a good boogie to a variety of groovy tunes. I come with lots of smiles, chill vibes and love to cook and drink tea and a cuppa of warm cocoa . I'm a tidy and conscious who is a considerate human to live with who likes company and community but also value time to myself. I love nature and am resourceful and love sustainable living. 🌼🔮🤗
Hi my name is Melinda or (Mel) Big move back from living in London for the past 12 years and resettling in the northern areas of Melbourne. I'm starting a brand new job within the healthcare industry in mid February and looking for a room in a house share with a like minded person or people! I'm pretty easy to live with having shared in London (and previously in Melbourne) so know how to be courteous responsible and respectful to those that share the home. I like to balance professional career with my other passions cooking, music, walking, photography and yoga. I love animals. I adore spending time with my family and friends and going out to explore my surrounds and what this great city has to offer. I'm looking for a friendly abode to call 'home' for a while to re calibrate into Melbourne life.
Hey team Recently moved down to Melbourne to study Youth Work at RMIT and indulge in the lifestyle down this way. Originally from Coffs Harbour but have been living in Canada doing some cool things for a couple of years, but wanted to come down to Melbs and study. I'm 26 and I've been waitressing, travelling and Skiing around the world since I left high school and now keen for something new. The music scene/ creative vibe of Melbourne has definitely attracted me to this city. I'm down to earth, social, very much into gigs and live music- music in general and being around people but also love my down time and respect people's personal space. I've been living in staff housing and share houses throughout my travels so I totally respect different lifestyles, living arrangements, personal boundaries and the big one... being tidy 🙂 I've also been known to have killer dance moves and I can show you my ways if you would like. I want to live with people who are like-minded, and love to have a chat/drink/ meal together every now and then. I love drinking coffee, sports, and getting outside and taking advantage of the weather when its lovely :) Thanks so much!!! Look forward to hearing from some people! Aimee
Female student studying in La Trobe University. Searching for a private room near the Uni and Melbourne Central, in area such as Reservoir, Preston, Bell , Thomastown and so. Clean, Friendly, outgoing, helpful , understanding . Loves Latin Dances especially Kizomba Music and Dance
I'm a easy going, fun-loving guy. I'm currently work full-time in a corporate professional environment (I.T Professional). I'm originally from Mount Waverley and currently renting in South Melbourne. I like to stay fit and hit the gym most week days and on the weekends I like to chill with friends.
Hi, I'm Shannen, 21, and work as a nanny in Clifton Hill. I love a good tv series and spend my weekends socialising, having a drink or with family. I'm tidy, respectful and can cook simple meals, woo. Am always up for a chat/drink/Netflix but also happy to keep to myself.
A double-storey house in a quiet spot, near Northland shopping centre and backing onto the Darebin Creek path. The house is relatively new with 3br, one with ensuite. A large bathroom is shared by tenants in the other 2 bedrooms. Good air-conditioning and heating throughout, internet connection and a lock up double garage accessible from a rear driveway shared with other apartments in the complex.
Hello, I'm a non-smoking Londoner who is initially in Australia for 6 months but have fallen in love with Melbourne! Because of this I'm thinking about extending my stay longer term. I'm qualified as a primary school teacher and have applied for registration, although this will take some time to come through. I am a friendly, tidy and conscientious person who respects the space and privacy of others but at the same time enjoys hanging out or going for a drink. Interests include football (Or soccer as I've been told it's referred to over here...), cricket, classical music and dry humour comedies. Thanks for reading, Jamie.
I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil, graduated in journalism and I'm living in Melbourne since November/16. I'm studying English and also working. I love to talk with the people about everything, I'm open mind, I enjoy drink, 420, read, hang out with my friends and stay home watching TV series/movies. I'm sagittarius so I'm very friendly, I like to travel and to see the sunset on the beach. :)
30 years old brazilian guy working in construction field. I am really easy going person who would share and enjoy time with housemates...but also like to have my own space and be reserved sometimes. As I work in construction I usually have early start in the morning but I am not a noisy person. I am really tidy, clean and respectfull person. Looking for a single room furnished on the Northern suburbs. Also need a place with car space or a road where I can park.
I'm Melinda, 27 year old healthcare professional moving into the Preston/ Thornbury area for work starting February after two years working in the country. I love to cook and go out with friends. I'm usually up for a chat over coffee after work but understand the need for space! Not a big tv watcher - trying to avoid to get sucked in to an entire season at a time- so the tv is all yours! I work shift work and full time so my hours vary but I am very respectful of others sleep! I'm a non smoker and don't take drugs. I'm single with no kids and no pets. Tidy and respectful of shared spaces. Looking for 6 atleast months Ideally looking for a place with an ensuite but willing to negotiate.

Hi! My names Andrew. I have only recently moved down to the inner city from far out east of Melbourne in a small town called Emerald. I love the city and all of its bustling nightlife. Which is one of the main reasons I am aiming to stay down this way. I'm a very happy and friendly person and find it very hard to dislike people. I am a very respectful person when it comes to living with people, i always clean up after myself and if you don't eat my food i wont eat yours. While at times I will have the occasional eBay shopping spree, I am still very responsible with my money and always pay my rent on time. A couple things about me, I do consider myself a very outgoing person and love to meet new people. I also absolutely love my music (70's-80's funk & disco music of choice) and am a frequent attendee of music festivals. In saying this however I also love to stay in and watch TV a lot during the week. At the moment I am finished studies and am having a year off to work on more of my side projects. I have a casual job which i work at about 22-28 hours a week. So that's the basics on who I am and i hope you consider me to be your new house mate!
Hello! I am a 27 year old gal who loves to go bicycle touring and read or chat over a nice beer =) I am extremely tidy and currently live in Preston and love it but my lease is ending soon! I would love to find somewhere to settle in and grow some veggies. I work full time Tuesday through Saturday at a bicycle store and on the weekends usually take my bike on an epic adventure to a campsite!
Modern, open plan & spacious townhouse on High St, fully furnished (you don't need a thing), single or couple ok! Right on 86/11 tramline and <5 min walk to Bell St. Station. 15 min to La Trobe Uni, or 9km to city (about 20 min on the tram) - but why go elsewhere, everything you want is on your doorstep (supermarket, bars, cafe's, markets)! One room available, lightly furnished with a double bed, built in closet, desk, chair, portable aircon unit. Suitable for single (e.g., student) or couples welcome. All bills included in rent, including unlimited internet access. House is quiet, backyard suitable for BBQ, relaxing, two large and spacious downstairs areas. No crazy rules or other crap, live & let live and enjoy this great space.
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
Looking for a furnished room from mid Feb- mid to end of June or something long term for a a year or longer. Definitely looking for somewhere that has a washing machine and a room that is furnished with at least a bed. I'm a uni student from the US and work 3-4 days a week in the CBD so I'd prefer to live relatively close but would also love to be halfway between school and work with easy public transit. Walking distance to the 86 tram line is a giant plus. I love gardening, being outdoors, live music, watching netflix, meeting new people, swimming laps, or just hanging out and having a drink. Looking for tidy but laid back roomies so if you have a spare room holla at me! If I'm loving it and it's not too far from uni then I would consider a longer stay (just have plans to be travelling end of June- end of August) Thanks!
My partner and I are looking for a short term place to live for the summer holidays. We are looking for a place near the city or 30-50 minutes transport ride to the city would be okay too. We are easy going people who enjoy to have a chat, tidy and enjoy getting out of the house.
Hi there, I'm a 28 year old aged care support worker and masters student looking to move into a new place. I'm a cheery, social person who likes cooking and gardening and exploring new places. I've listed a few locations but I'm pretty flexible as to where I go, really. I'm flexible with the rent per week too. I'm more interested in finding a good place with a good group of people.
Deferred last year and recently returned from working a full season in the Canadian Rockies, currently working full-time on the Peninsula over summer before moving into the city to study. Sociable, easy going, independent, and tidy. Will be studying at RMIT.
Hello! My names Jazz! I love all things art related, visual art, music & dance. I work in security 6-7 days a week, I'm hardly ever home always at work, gym, dance or visiting family. Just want a comfortable place to come back. I stick to myself a lot of the time and enjoy hanging out in my room but always up for a friendly chat... I also love blasting music so I hope that's not a problem 🙊
Amazing room in sharehouse available in Preston just near High Street. Unfortunately, my visa is expiring shortly and planning to leave Melbourne. This place is 4 mins away from Bell Street station, 5 minute walk from shopping mall, and close to many great restaurants on Bell Street. Ideal place for a backpacker, or student looking for a furnished, central place in Melbourne. Takes about 25 minutes to get Flinders Station. We will be having viewings starting in the new year. I have furniture and a new bed as well which can be made available if needed.
Evie!!!!! I'm the one in the red skirt!!! 21!!!! Tall!!!!! Friendly!!! 3 orders away from a free meal on menulog!!!!!! I am working full time in customer service for CrownBet in the CBD. I can touch type 40 words and I've a full driving license with two points on it. I've a decent knowledge of geography. And a basic award in water safety!!!!!!!!! Anyway, simple girl simple pleasures. Currently staying with my beefy BF for a bit, looking for a room in a chill house with happy lovely people. Not a party gal these days what with work keeping me busy but like bottle of fat lamb and a George Michael sing along every now and again. Respectful of your private space and treasure my own. Love my down time hiding under the covers but enjoy cooking a meal together or having a cuppa on the couch while watching a monthly fail compilation on youtube. Clean up after myself and strongly oppose dishes in the sink for longer than 6 hours!!!! In between work, friends and family I'm not home a huge deal but when I am i'm usually just laying low. Ultimately wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin' and plannin' and dreamin' for a place with some people who are down to earth, respectful, honest and fun to be around. In return I can offer all that and more. More shitty pop culture references if you want but completely understand if you don't. I'm a hard working gal who just wants a home I can call home and house mates I can call friends. Hit me up if you think we'd get along. Cheers, Evie!!!

Friendly, easy-going and respectful couple looking for a place to call home in Thornbury, Northcote or Preston. I am from the UK and my partner, Ryan, is from Melbourne. We are both currently working full time and enjoy fairly relaxed evenings in the week and are always up for a drink and laugh at the weekends. We are pretty flexible with our legnth of stay - preferably a minimum of 2 months. We are both working full time in Melbourne and would ideally like to find a 1 bedroom flat to rent, but also happy to share with other friendly, easy-going people.
Hi, I'm looking for a room or bungalow with a friendly household that also appreciates each others' need for solo time. I'm a temp worker (professional writer/editor) currently on break and looking for my next challenge. I like to think I have a good sense of humour and a sense of fun... I'm tidy and respectful of others ... and believe in teamwork to keep a household ticking along. Sing out if you would like to know anything else! :) PS I'm currently a part-time smoker ... and smoke in the street at my current location, never near the flats or inside. No butts left behind! :)
I'm a third year student studying philosophy / politics. I spend most of my time reading and blurting out terrible puns. I don't smoke.I also like music, most often found within the broad genres of indie-pop and melodic hardcore / metalcore I lived at college previously, so I can do the whole communal living schtick. I'm a relaxed, open minded and respectful person. LGBT+ friendly
