Currently working full time with plans to study full time at the start of 2018. Looking for a room to rent that is homely and comfortable. Adaptable, clean, sociable and respect others privacy. I love trying new things, going new places and chilling out with friends and family.
Hello, I am looking for a place as a transition point into Melbourne. I have recently applied for mid-year University entrance and I am waiting for an acceptance letter from them. I am a quiet, clean person with a tendency to keep to myself. I enjoy reading, visiting the city and spending time on my computer. I have a cat that I would like to bring with me, however if that is a problem I can leave her behind.
Very quiet game designer in between uni courses, a night owl and coffee lover. Always up for shared meals and games with the right people, I share my cooking around if I make a lot. Have a big fluffball of a cat that gets along well with other cats, just incredibly shy.
Hi, we have a fully furnished room with super comfy bed waiting for you. We're close to trams 1 (Melbourne Uni RMIT in 20 minutes) and 11 (Brunswick Street, City and St Kilda ) and the Train is close by also. We are approximately 30 minutes by public transport to Latrobe Uni. Just a short walk up the road is a milkbar, and also within 10 minutes walking distance is a bakery, supermarket, chemist , doctors and several fantastic cafes. We are surrounded by parklands. The Merri Creek bike trail is just down the road if you have a bike. The room would ideally suit an honest, independant student/person looking for comfort, and quiet. Our house is what you'd call a character house, so it's not brand new. I've been told the room is above standard. We have wifi. Bills are to be shared. We are very easy going and friendly , and would enjoy getting together for a meal once a week. . We eat meat. We have shared with many international students and have made many friends this way. I am a single mother with a young daughter so parties are definitely NOT OK. House cleaning is to be strictly shared and done on a weekly basis. Our house is a happy one, and we have a cat, and guinea pigs. There is lots of laughter and chatter but also peace. We also love music and art ! If this all sounds like something that would make you happy, please get in touch. If you have skills in piano, violin, singing, gardening, housecleaning or tutoring I am happy to negotiate the rent. I'm sorry but this room is not for couples.
I have a master bedroom available in two bedroom apartment on the top floor with panoramic views. Conveniently located on the Thornbury - Preston border with the 86 tram (Docklands City - Bundoora RMIT) right at your door step and the cafe culture hub of High Street. Other amenities include: * Woolworths supermarket & Aldi across the road * Closest station - Thornbury (South Morang line) * Undercover and secure parking * Security entrance & intercom * All modern appliances * Euro Laundry * Wifi unlimited * Little study nook Master Bedroom: * Double BIR with plenty of top shelf space * Door & Window with own private views onto the balcony * Optional bed furnishing (double mattress) provided or purchase the entire queen bed in photos from my housemate that is moving overseas! Rent details: $208 PW $906 PM Ideal person (female only)* someone that is genuine, easy going, respectful, honest and consciously clean. And after creature comforts rather than living in a noisy crammed share house.
Pretty chill person, can keep to myself or be social and hang out. :) I'm looking for a housemate/housemates I can be friends with and get along with. I like going out here and there and having a good time. Aswell as sitting around binging Netflix. I'm studying a Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology full time and working part time as a waitress. I have pet rats, (before you shriek in horror, they're super sweet animals). They're pretty clean and don't take up much space or make any noise.
Hi there!! I have a room available (come August) in a cute little house in Preston, and am looking for a new housemate. Not only is this house close to public transport (having the no.11 tram at the end of the street, and the no. 1 tram, Preston Station, and Regent Station within a 20 min walk), it's in a safe and beautiful area, has great cafes nearby, a supermarket and a gym in walking distance, is surrounded by parklands including the nearby Merri Creek walking/bike track, the Preston Food Truck Park nearby, and also the house itself is an absolute gem. I'll own that it may look a bit like your nonna's place, but it is cozy (2 bedroom), has a large backyard (same size as the house, it's rad), hardwood floors, one and a half bathrooms, and both a seperate laundry and garage, and I would love for someone to help me bring some life into the place. The room on offer is medium size (unfurnished, although I have incl. pics furished and without so you can get an idea of the size), and would suit someone who loves animals and a good chat, is low-key, clean and considerate, and who enjoys good food and good music. Some of the furniture in the house will be leaving with my current roommate so there is the opportunity for you to bring your own furniture if you have it, I'll have the basics though (fridge, washing machine, table, couch, tv). Though this isn't a party house I do love having friends over and would be happy to have the occasional event at the house. Also if you have a green thumb the backyard does have a veggie garden but it is mostly overgrown at the moment and would need some loving care to reinvigorate it - would definitely pitch in if someone with the motivation was keen! I have a 3 yr old border collie who spends a lot of his time both in and out of the house, so anyone interested would have to love dogs because he will definitely want to be your friend - he gets along well with people, cats, and other dogs - basically an all round social doggo.
We are a Scottish couple who are clean and tidy. We work full time and enjoy spending our days off at the gym or relaxing watching movies. We are looking for an apartment or house to rent preferably the whole property to ourselves, fully furnished, car parking is a must.we are looking to move in November 2017 but will consider moving earlier for the right place.
I am a friendly and social guy studying third year of a bachelor in illustration, I love drawing/painting. I am into in art and design, also like different kinds of alternative music. I am very clean, tidy and respectful for other people’s space and time. I am usually at work from Thursday to Sunday and during the week studying at uni. I have a job as a waiter in a venue in the city , I work there part-time when, I'm studying and full time when I'm at school holidays. Looking as well for a job in Design as I am industrial designer too. I also like to hang out for drinks and enjoy to have a chat and dinner every now and then. If this sounds like someone you are looking for….hit me up
I'm considerate and respectful. Like to have a friendly relationship with housemates but also some space. Believe that communicating well with the people you live with is the best way to make a household work. Respect other people's property and preferences regarding cleanliness. I have a very cute ginger cat named Abraham. I'm 40yo, working in health at one of the hospitals in Melbourne. Not super fussy about the location of the house, so long as it's accessible to the city. LGBTIQA friendly.
Looking for long term stay. Easy going, respectful and friendly. Prefer a clean space to live in and will contribute. Lived in Melbourne, northern suburbs, my entire life. 6 years in share house's. Looking for work at the moment, receiving government payment, very conscious with paying rent and bills on time. I hope to be employed asap. Spend my time studying online, playing computer games, and visiting family. Occasionally ride my motorbike so a garage would be a bonus. Looking for a social household that also respects time to themselves. Pet friendly. Social drinker. Non smoker.

Hey there! Moving back to Melbourne after 3 years in the country. I'm a huge music lover, I play the guitar, love movies and random TV shows, trivia nights at the pub, planning holidays to destinations and slowly crossing them off the list, and a relaxed bevvy after a rough week or on the weekend. I'll be working full time in the city as a Business Analyst and I also study part time, but like having a chat and being social, all the usual stuff. As a housemate, I'm pretty chilled, if you want to partake in my chocolate stash, go for it, just ask first. Otherwise I'm reasonably neat, like clockwork with rent and bills, and someone who you can easily have a chat with about even the most strange of topics. I also come equipped with a lot of my own furniture and appliances, so if your place needs new stuff, I may be what you're looking for! I'd prefer somewhere in the inner northern suburbs, but will happily consider other areas as well. Happy to talk about teaming up for a lease as well If you think you might have what I'm looking for, or have any questions, then I would love to hear from you! :) Jacob
This new apartment has a great view of the city, opposite to Preston market and shops and close to the city. Secure building with aircon/heating and washing machine. The only thing that needs to be furnished is your room! The place is kept clean and tidy and the balcony is great to chill out. Smoking is allowed on the balcony but no pets.
I'm a genuine, easy-going, country guy with a great sense of humour. I like keeping active, whether it's gym visits, tennis, squash, surfing or golfing. I have a passion for cooking and am looking forward to experiencing the food scene in Melbourne, as well as the live comedy and live music scenes. I'm moving to Melbourne from Perth, having grown up on a farm in country WA. I'll be searching for a corporate accounting gig.

Salutations! My name is Tanielle Gordon, I am 20 years of age. I am a full-time student and growing artist studying Illustration in the Visual Arts department. I am looking to move to North Melbourne from the 26th of June with a budget of around $150-$160. I am a VERY polite, clean and tidy person. I will not leave a room without cleaning up after myself! Cleanliness is key. I like to keep to myself but of course always up for a cup of tea or coffee! I spend most of the week studying, when I'm not I like to dabble between many creative hobbies or I'll be out and about! I am very respectful of others, their property and beliefs! I hope to find my future roommate/s that I can feel at home with. I would love to hear from you. Thank you, Tanielle :)
Hi! I'm George. I'm a 28 year old barista looking to move to Melbourne from Newcastle around the 10th or so of June. I have a few connections in Melbs so plan to start work pretty quickly once I'm down there, working full-time hours. I'm looking for somewhere to settle down and make home, not just a place to keep my stuff. I have a border collie x kelpie puppy (currently 5 months) called Monty, who has been described as "the Brad Pitt of dogs." Monty is a typical puppy, but in saying that is very well behaved most of the time. He's gentle with other animals and has been well socialised/I'm pretty obsessed with training (I'm going to also be studying dog behaviour with the Delta Institute when I get down there). I take him out lots and spend heaps of time with him, which means he is pretty chill when I'm out. I too have been well socialised and am pretty well behaved. I am looking for housemates who I am mates with, and sometimes hang out/debrief my day with, but I also understand the need for our own space. Definitely not keen on a party house. Other than that, I like to read, drink coffee, laugh at memes, be outside, and would (optimistically) love to have a little garden project to help out with. Anyway, if I sound like someone you would like to live with, or you have any questions about me or Mont', get in touch. Thanks, George and Monty :)
Hi There, I am an easy going, open minded and respectful individual, happy to hang out and chat but also value the downtime in a day. I am a moderate movie fiend whose happy to share this interest with housemates. Have deferred from studying Arts at Monash to work full time in horticulture, so am looking for a home base for around a year. I have lived in Melbourne my whole life, but have enjoyed travelling through Asia and South America the past few years. I also have a super friendly 6 year old female Bullmastiff who is really laid back, loves people and sleeps most of the day. She needs somewhere enclosed to sleep at night, but all other times is used to living outside and can adapt comfortably to a small sized backyard. If your a dog person you will most likely have a new best friend :) Cheers and all the best. Sean
