Currently, I am working as a freelancer doing many projects, dependent on the client. So, I do spend a lot of time at home, most of which I will spend in my room/office space. My cat Mackerel is both an indoor and outdoor cat and is extremely well-behaved and toilet trained. You might find him lounging around wherever is the comfiest spot. In a home, I most definitely am looking for housemates that are respectful and people I can have good conversations with. I work from home, so it definitely is important to me to have housemates who are independent and respectful. Cannot live in party houses or "half-way" houses -- I prefer and will only live with adults, who are respectful and understanding. Good taste in music, literature and films are also a whopping huge bonus. In terms of a physical home, just somewhere cosy that feels like home -- a sanctuary, not necessarily a palace. Gardens are extremely favourable.
we good guys we love helping out in the house we like parties and we like to drink wine and spirits
Hi there! I am a friendly, relaxed, tidy, animal loving, vegetarian, full-time working professional. I am a competitive cheerleader and like to be active and healthy. I also enjoy relaxing in my (very) limited free-time and putting my feet up to Netflix and a hot chocolate. I have a 3 year old Dalmatian (Obedience trained to level 4), and a 6 year old Cat. Both very chilled, quiet and great share-house pets (can provide pet references). I'm looking for a relaxed, respectful atmosphere where people are happy to socialise together and also respect each others personal space/belongings.
Myself and my friend will be coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering & will be in Australia for 2 years. We both prefer a single room at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
Hi I'm lochie, 21 and a student at Latrobe I am easy going and love hanging out yet also enjoy quiet time. I love sport and cooking. When I'm not studying i work part time in the city and hang out with friends. Due to unforseen circumstances i have to move out by the end of the year and have to find somewhere new to live. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

Hi, my name is Erica, I'm an outdoorsy creative person, I love gardening and adventure sports. I also have a piano which I play occasionally. I like a tidy house, a bit of shared time, a bit of me time. I'm a busy person working in health promotion 9 day fortnight. I spend a few nights a week out of the house and go away a bit on weekends. My move date is flexible.
Hi I'm Melissa, I'm a full time graphic designer/web developer for an agency. I enjoy playing guitar, seeing live bands, watching movies, video games, having a quiet drink, reading and anything related to dogs. I am very quiet, but happy to share common interests and be social with other housemates. I have no pets, although I am fine living with pets (I'm a qualified dog trainer and animals are awesome). I am a tidy, reliable person and happy to help out wherever I can. Ideally I am looking for a place close to the 86 tram line or South Morang train line for easy access to work and preferably a place to park my small car. I look forward to hearing from you :)
You'll be 5 minutes from the 86 tram and an 8 minute stroll to Preston Station (South Morang line). The hotly debated, vibrant Preston Market is a stone's throw away, as are the Preston Post office, Woolworths, and a multicultural selection of cuisines - including Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian and Italian - all situated on the still-hipster-but-bearably-so High Street.
Ideally looking to start a sharehouse with someone nice. Currently, working part time and completing my law degree in another 6 months time. I am Aussie citizen but my background is Indian. I am respectful, friendly and considerate. I appreciate the fact that people need space and I expect the same from the other person. However, I am also a friendly and caring person and very happy lend some company. I like clean environments though. Especially, toilets and kitchen. So, please be mindful of that. :-)
We're to ourselves but can be social if someone is around the house. Very clean and tidy. We're just really great people.
Just moved here from the UK but lived in Melbourne for a while a few years back. My job (news editor for a tech/finance website) means I can travel a lot - was in Chicago for a while a couple of years ago - and so I'm staying here over the summer. Looking for somewhere for a few months with sound, relaxed people who wouldn't mind a beer in front of the TV every now and there. As for me, I try to be the goldilocks housemate - neat but not obsessive, friendly but not pushy, sociable but I'm not about to drag strangers back at 2am for a party. No fuss, no muss. Interests include books, films, music (I worked at a record shop last time I was here) and coffee, if that counts. Respectful of people regardless of colour, gender or sexuality.
Hi, my name is Ben. I am currently studying International Relations at La Trobe, but work full-time during the holidays (and part time during the school semester). I am pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, and am hoping to live with people who are keen to build a friendship, and enjoy having a beer or wine every so often. I do my best to live green by being energy conscious and sorting my recyclables. I like to keep my own area tidy but am respectful to those who enjoy living a little messier, and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to chores around the house-hold. I like to socialise on weekends but keep pretty quiet during the weeks, as I work 5- 6 days a week or am studying. I am also supportive of an environment where issues and grievances within the house-hold can be discussed openly but respectfully so there is no tension between house-mates. I am looking for accommodation that is long term for the foreseeable future as I continue my tuition. I enjoy reading, movies, video games, skating and meeting new people.

I am a 23 year old Biomedical Science graduate relocating from Noosa to Melbourne to start a Masters degree in Epidemiology at the University of Melbourne. I am a reliable, quiet, tidy and respectful individual who enjoys an active social lifestyle, with a balance of quiet nights in. I love to cook and indulge in all things food and wine related. Ideally I'm looking for longer term accommodation so I'd be happy to sign onto a 6 or 12 month lease. I am open to either furnished, or unfurnished accommodation as I have some pieces that can be transferred down from Queensland/I am able to provide or chip in for new furnishings. I can relocate down to Melbourne as soon as a place is available.
Becca - From the U.S. and am working full time. Just graduated from uni back home and am taking a year off from school here in Australia. Byron - Melbourne local studying full time and also working part time (~30 hours/ week) Both very independent in what we do and tend to spend a fair bit of time out side of the house. We do enjoy cooking at home most nights however are still up for checking out Melbourne's endless restaurants and bars. Have both lived in share houses before and like to consider ourselves respectful of all others.
This house is located just a 3-minute walk from plenty road where you can find the 86 tram line straight to La Trobe or RMIT University. It's close to Northland shopping centre, Bell street and only 20 minutes to the city. There are two rooms available, both roughly the same size. There is only 1 bathroom but another toilet in the laundry. *room one* - fully carpeted (recently steam cleaned) - slightly larger than the other room - wardrobe available if needed - mattress available if needed *room two* - fully carpeted (recently steam cleaned) - window looking out to the large backyard - wardrobe available if needed - mattress available if needed *Rent is $158/w including bills* - move in date: ASAP - minimum stay 6 months - no pets - no children - LGBT+ friendly - smokers accepted, but only outside
The flat facilities: BEST LOCATION! . - Very Safe and beautiful Suburb. 17 min to city centre! - 1 min walking for the train station, and tram 86 front of the door. - there is supermarket(WW,Aldi), restaurants and cafes. It's about 1min walking from the building. -the flat furnished new.
The house is great because its in a lovely neighborhood, its got a big backyard, we are close to trams, the merri creek bike path and 10 min walk to trains. There's a bathtub and lots of potential for garden gnomes. Our home is peaceful and the street isn't too noisy. We share chores and bills. I've had the place for 10 years, this room would suit someone without much stuff as its big enough for a bed and a clothes rack and maybe a desk. There's some space where the organ is in the walk thru area.we can get rid of it if you have other stuff.

We're fun and sociable, but respectful and responsible too! We're moving to Melbourne to broaden our career-based horizons, and just need somewhere to stay for a few months whilst we find long-term employment and our own rental accommodation. Jamie: animal lover and foodie. Will be studying at La Trobe University, and hopefully working part-time, all while pursuing a career in the animal care industry. I make a mean pizza too! Jack: recent media/international studies graduate, and up-and-coming media personality (radio and TV hosting).

Hey , I am from California, 31 years young, and been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Looking for a friendly warm home with chilled wonderful people. I am into the outdoors, music, rock climbing, surfing and camping and the odd festival. The following would be some good indicators we would be a good match: - Flatmates that hang out a bit at home or outside on occasion - Kitchen is full of delicious smells and occasional dinner gatherings (I once opened an Outback Steakhouse in the middle of the desert, opened from 4am-7am serving sous-vide roo sliders) - House is not full of couch potatoes in front of the TV - Clean house with uncluttered common areas I design user experiences in health technology and have no problems paying rent on time and helping with any tech needs. In my free time I practice acupuncture/massage and design brass jewelry. Warm Regards Eric
Hey there! I'am a tidy and quiet person. I like beeing social but also enjoy time on my own. Its important to me to keep areas we share clean and tidy. Also its important to me to drink a beer with my house mates from time to time :)
We have a lovely townhouse in Preston. It will be great hanging out on the Patio in Summer. The house is fairly new and has everything you'd expect. It is only a short walk to a Woolies and a shorter walk to the tram or train. On High st there are countless bars as well as cafes for your brunching needs. Your room is pretty big with built in robes and it's own heater/aircon
Hi! I work casually in retail and full time as a model with a top agency. I'm currently living with the parentals and would love to break free! I currently live on the Mornington Peninsula but my whole life is basically up in the city and therefore I'd like to be close to the city :) I'm a fun person who would love to have pizza and wine nights, self-diagnosed coffee addict, I'm a respectful smoker, would love to live with someone who is easy-going like myself, lgbt+ & 420 friendly, and just an all around cool dude. Happy to set something up in regards to starting a share house or joining an existing one! Thanks :) Demi
