Hello potential future flatmates! My name is Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and will be completing my degree in June, 2017. After having spent three years in student accommodation, it is well and truly time for me to move out and have the sharehouse experience. I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne for university and also to embark upon a new adventure. I work part time in a cafe on Sydney Road and I really enjoy my job (for the most part!). I love bad jokes, dogs, travelling (I am off to New Caledonia at the end of November - rejoice!), reading, coffee, food, the odd social drink and meeting new people. My ideal living arrangement would consist of: - Somewhere in the inner-north suburbs (close-ish to uni and work) - Somewhere with public transport nearby (I don't own a car) - A house of 3 - 5 people - Housemates around my age (early - mid twenties) - Other students would be pretty cool, but totally fine if not! - Housemates who are pretty chill with the occasional visit from my parents when they are up from Tassie. - Housemates who are willing to not just be housemates, but friends. I am uncertain about a move-in date as of yet, but I am will be homeless from the 10th of November. I am looking for both summer accommodation or 2017 accommodation. I might be a touch early to the party by putting this up now, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If any of what I have said sounds good to you, feel free to get in touch. I would love to meet you for coffee and get to know you. Have a nice day! :)
Moved from Byron bay earlier this year and plan to study in 2017. Im a very relaxed person who loves wine, pasta and tiramisu. I enjoy my own space but also love socialising and seeing friends.
I am a friendly, easy-going, fun and empathetic person who loves nature and animals (I am not bringing pet). I am a clean, tidy and organized person. Besides, I love coffee, listen to all kinds of music and going to the gym to maintain a healthy lifestyles. I am open to different kinds of opinions and multicultural perspectives. Besides, I respect other people concerns and privacy. I like to offer help to people in need. I am going to study a Master Degree in Development Studies at the University of Melbourne in early January, 2017. Prior to undertaking this Master Degree, I worked at The Asia Foundation in Cambodia as a Program Officer managing Mobile for Tech for Women Empowerment Program. I will be studying in Melbourne for a year and return back to my home country - Cambodia.

Hola there, I am Theo, a 22 years old french guy who has arrived in Melbourne last year and I’m looking for an accommodation. Currently doing a WorkingHolidayVisa and about to start my 2nd year. I usually work in hospitality (barista and waiter). At the moment, I live in Daylesford (VIC) for regional work, I'm moving to Melb the 2nd of November. Basically I can adjust to any living style though I tend to be a bit more cleanly and tidy. Also, while I love spending time socially with roommates, I am very respectful of boundaries and personal time in shared housing. I have a strong interest in music and in particular electronic musics, collecting tracks. AIso, I love travelling, grabbing a good beer or a good wine in a pub/bar, going to the restaurant (especially after pay day!!!), taking a break in a sunny park, discovering the amazing Melbourne's day & nightlife or hanging out at home as well. I'm pretty flexible actually :) Drop me a line

Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Hi! I just got a new job at Melbourne University and moving up to Melbourne from Geelong. I also fairly recently returned from completing a masters in Netherlands. I am reliable, respectful, easy going and clean but not obsessive. I'm into yoga, biking, coffee and red wine. Follow the cats in AFL. It would be great to get a room near Melb Uni in Carlton, Brunswick or surrounding suburbs. Also up for teaming up with someone like minded to find a place. Happy for long term lease if its the right place. Cheers, Ben
Hello! I'm Gen. I'm currently studying arts (history and international relations) at University of Melbourne. I'm always up for wine, gigs, brunch and op-shopping - but equally enjoy my quiet time. I also love to get creative, cook, read and also head home to the coast when I get the chance. (Also clean, reliable with bills etc.) * The lease at my current place ends January 15 2017, but I'm willing to move as early as December if the place is right.
Hey all, my story is one just like many others. Came to Australia on a working holiday visa, started working and was promised sponsorship. 10 months later, left out to dry. Anyway, not being one to hold a grudge I'm just trying to make the most of my time here whilst I work out if there is away can stay longer. cycled down to Melbs from Sydney and have spent the past 2 weeks driving around and exploring. (don't get the wrong impression, I'm not sporty, just a guy that follows through with his drunken ideas) I'm looking for a room to tide me over until my visa ends which isn't long I know, but with all my fingers crossed I hope I can get on a student visa to extend my stay. I'm a very easy going guy, keep a clean house, vegan and just a hippy at heart. I'm sociable but will be working in hospo so my hours wont be haha. If you think I might be a good fit then give me a shout and lets go out for a coffee or a beer, this whole 5 min meeting in the house just makes no sense to me. lets hang out see if we get along. :)
Hey there! I'm one of those guys who's really easy to get on with, always having a laugh & can lighten the mood in any situation. Studied Biomed, working in the entertainment industry & I also speak German + some Spanish.
I'm Raimundo (Ray it's OK too), an chilean guy who came to Australia for a Working Holiday experience. I decided to make Australia my new home for at least one year and from here start travelling to this other side of the Pacific Ocean! I'm 27 years old, easygoing and reliable person, and I have a degree on Political Science, but my interest are very broad, such as culture/music exchange, consciousness topics, photography and visual arts, languages, history, politics, rollers, bycicle, bouldering, nature, yoga, and so on...
Hey! My name is Nic and I am 23 years old. After 6 years in the Army, I have decided to have a bit of a break from the military lifestyle by taking up a new management job in Brunswick. So not only am a domesticated male, but I will always pay my rent on time! On my time off I am an avid soccer player, explorer and surfer, but I also like to occasionally horde myself up in my room with a good book or to trawl the net. I am a non-smoker, I only drink on social occasions and I am a fairly quiet person who respects communal living.
Hi, I am looking for a place to live next year (2017). My current lease finishes up at the end of January so looking for a place to move in during January. Looking to live with similar aged people (young 20s) who are fun and up for a laugh. I enjoy having a few drinks with friends but I also love taking it easy on the weekend! I'm into cooking, going to the beach and brunching. I work full time in accounting. Thanks! Sam
Hi there! I'm an American lass, from Illinois. I'm tidy, kind, considerate, and independent. I enjoy my quiet time with books and writing but I'm also down for a cozy chat and a drink with housemates anytime. I love animals, although I don't have any. I enjoy spending time in the sunshine, going for extra long walks, making jewelry, playing with my camera, and of course yummy food :)
Hi, I'm Marcel! Brazilian, Master's student currently based in the Netherlands and going for a 6-month research internship in Melbourne. I consider myself organized, easy going and very open-minded (hard to avoid clichés here, right?). I love cooking, hiking, and getting to know new people, languages and cultures. My weeks are going to be very busy, but I would love to spend some time with my future roommates during weekends. Feel free to contact me if you have a room to offer or if you just want to team up to find a place to share :)
Hello mates!! I'm Alberto and I'm from Italy. My hobby is do a lot of sport, visit new places, drink wine and beer, meet new people, watch the film, swimming in the ocean, run in bicycle. I'm quiet and happy person, I have a lot patience and I really want to learn surf! I'm search of a private furnished room, No share room! See you soon!
I'm a student at Unimelb. I'm clean, tidy and easy-going person and respectful of other's space. Will be glad to grab a beer and hangout or binge watch or play games in the console when not working. Feel free to shoot any questions if you'd like to know more about me.
I have been in Melbourne close to 8 years now and am currently working full time comfortably as a Software Engineer. I am a clean and tidy person in general. Some friends call me OCDish (tho I doubt I am anywhere near the real deal). I like going to the gym, watching anime / series / movies, cooking & eating, lounging whilst reading a book, food hunting, and video games. I can cycle, frisbee, badminton, table tennis, if those are relevant in any way. Currently in my spare time I've been reading, watching anime, and meeting up with friends. An activity I would like to add into my spare time would be to cook comfortably in a hygienic setting (kitchen at current place is constantly filthy due to the negligence of other flatmates). I treasure both time alone, and time with others. A balance of both keeps my spirits up. With that, I do value the privacy, space, and solitude of others.
Hi, my name is Sofia, I'm 22 years old and just arrived in Melbourne two weeks ago. I was a student in Berlin and lived in a shared flat with a close friend of mine. I'd describe myself as a very adaptable and sociable person, thus I'm open to have nice dinners with you at home or get together for a glass of wine. But I do respect your privacy and need some time to myself as well every now and then. I eat very healthy, do a lot of yoga, love going to the movies or reading a nice book. It's important to me to keep the house clean and tidy, so we can all feel at home. Every other weekend I might go out, won't bring the party home though! The length of my stay is not definite yet, I'll stay 6 months for sure, but it might turn into an entire year. Now tell me something about yourself, I'm excited to meet you! :)
I'm respectful of privacy and like my own peace and quiet. Please no party house and douche bags. If you like wine and food that's a bonus. Please don't get me wrong I do like to have a good time and have a social, easy-going home environment. I just don't want to live in a dive with disrespectful, loud and dirty people. I like keeping things clean and tidy. I take pride in my home and enjoy cooking, music, films, and good chat. I believe if we are sharing the same space we need to be aware and respectful of each other and don't be afraid to speak up when any issues need to be addressed. I want to live with adults! Also I am thinking about adopting a rescue cat so somewhere that is pet friendly would be ideal.
Hi! I am originally from Cambridge (UK) but have lived in Canberra for the past 10 years. I moved to Melbourne to start my PhD at the start of this year. I work regular hours for my PhD from 9-5 every weekday, but sometimes over that if there's a deadline. I'm always quiet at night and am almost never home late! I'm also a very tidy and clean person, and I'm very considerate of others' needs. I also cook all of my own meals, but I cook and tidy quickly so that the kitchen is ready for the next person. I am coeliac (cannot tolerate gluten) and vegetarian, so if you are either of those things you won't have to worry about flour or meat in the kitchen! I also don't smoke, and hardly drink. I am an LGBT+ ally. I occasionally travel to conferences to Canberra to see my family, so sometimes I will not be home at all for a few days. I'm a very outdoors person, I spend my spare time reading, walking, running or cycling outdoors. I also climb both indoors and traditionally on cliffs. I'm always keen to join others for these activities! I love good music (though I will always wear headphones if others are about), Netflix, and the gym. I am looking to move in to a new place from my current flat at the start of December.
Looking for a place to move as soon as possible closeish to the city. Starting a new position in the City (Parkville) , so needing a new place as soon as possible. Feel free to check out my profile. Hiya! We are two girls who moved over from London in March to start a fresh in Melbourne! I know everyone gives a whole long winded spiel so we decided to keep it short and sweet - straight to the point! We like to think that we got those 3 F's & 3R's: Fun Friendly & Funky / Relaxed Reliable & Respectful Ideally looking for people who like to socialise on the weekend but also wanna hang out in the living room watching films and enjoying meals together during the week. We will be searching for two separate rooms in this shared/ new home, and preferably people who agree that a clean house is a happy house! We are open to live with all genders just as long as we are on the same wavelength! Let us know asap !
Hello, i am from Lithuania and moving to study and work in Melbourne. I am easy going, clean and tidy. Like running and doing sports, don't smoke and drink alcohol very rarely, love animals, even though don't have any. Looking for calm and nice place to live in which i could call home.
I am a very laid back and fun character who's always up for a laugh. I am not intrusive nor confrontational, so you wouldn't have to worry about a flat mate constantly looking over your shoulder and prying into your life/belongings. I am also very organised and am willing to do my fair share of chores which would make me a breeze to live with.
A bit about myself - my name is Hugo, 22y/o, I am currently on a leave of absence from Civil & Infra Engineering at RMIT, looking to go back 1st semester 2017 to finish last 1.5 years. I'm working 9-5 at RMIT in a student admin type of job. Enjoy tennis (member of Parkville tennis club), ping pong, and generally any racquet sport. I come with an Optus EPL subscription and a Netflix subscription... and a table tennis table ;) Pretty easy-going, 1st time moving out (put-off I know) but been living semi-independent last several years - know how to cook and stay tidy. I have a licence but no car and probably won't be getting one any time soon, bike/uber gets me most places.
I'm a Melbourne girl originally from the Eastern suburbs. I recently started studying Occupational Therapy at La Trobe. I'm also really sports and enjoy keeping active. Generally I'm clean, tidy and easy to live with :)
Hi! I'm Chihiro. I'm an international student who intends to live in Melbourne for 5-6 months or more. I consider myself to be a tidy, responsible person who you will have a fun to live with. 23 year old from QLD moving to Melbourne for grad school. I am looking for some fun, friendly people to move in with. I value cleanliness and I can cook - I would really like to find people who are sociable and enjoy chatting / activities with flatmates balanced with doing your own thing. Hobbies include travelling, learning languages, cooking, outdoor activities and exploring new places. Bonus points if you have pets I can cuddle, but it's not a deal breaker! I have lived out of home (including overseas) since I finished school so I am definitely house-share trained, and I can provide four years of proof of paying rent reliably. Ideally I am looking for a place where I can have my own space/privacy but also flatmates who I can chat to and become friends with too (moving away from all my friends and family). I can sign on to a lease any time from late November but I probably wouldn't physically move until after Christmas. Just message me if you have any questions :)

I am currently studying Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne majoring in Law minoring in Politics. Despite the heavy study load and populist beliefs amongst my 'Work Hard Play Harder' friends; I am legitimately only boring on weekdays and a most likely/10 hitting Circus or CQ with the squad on the weekend. People's first impression of me is often subjected to the flaws of male fundamentalism where a woman can only be one of the two possible archetypes: stupid & attractive usually super fun but often shallow and has a lot of hot friends, OR smart & ugly, has a jam-packed schedule, living a conservative and quiet life with a small social group of feminists who she exchanges literature reviews on a Sunday brunch. Well, I guess I must be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, as I identify myself with both archetypes. Can you hear that? it's the sound of the narrow-minded being absolutely mind blown. Advantage: - Tidying up after myself in communal areas almost right after I make a mess such as cooking, or unfolded a throw (currently living in an OCD-infested house in the eastern suburbs; I've picked up the art of cleaning & organisation) - Also currently studying Interior Design & Decoration so the house will always be pimped TF out - Hardly takes any offence to criticism & prefers resolution than tension (mindfulness people, mindfulness) - Respects and follows established boundaries and trust me, boundaries will not be crossed but the same is expected on the other end as well. (personal space, no social/friends stealing, care to other people's personal property, ect ect) - Regular Schedule (well I'm boring on weekdays and I know most people go to work on weekdays so that works well for both of us) - Always punctual with bills & rents. - I have my own life too, don't worry, I won't pry into yours. - To be honest, I don't mind a bit of gardening - Loves travelling so there is a possibility of me being away for a short period of time during my uni breaks - I love vacuuming is that weird - Any guests coming to the home will love me - Honest & Brutally up front as I like to discuss about problems as soon as the problem occurs. (but I'm mindful of other's situation as well, repeated as above) Disadvantage: - I'm a smoker. I don't smoke indoors (who does that anyways?) and I don't throw butts on the ground (again, mindfulness) & if you are asthmatic then obviously I will not smoke within your perimeter. - I am incredibly social but when I'm at home I often like being in my own company working on things by myself. Personal space is a big thing for me and I can't help it. - I can't live with kids or babies (personal space, personal property & personally I don't like smoking in front of children) -Prefers the ensuite as I have a lot of cosmetics & girly stuff (it's an addiction, seriously Mecca & Lush should be illegal) I also prefer unfurnished or semi furnished properties as I do have my own furniture & I am a soon to be Interior Designer. (This applies to pals that are interested in looking for a house/apartment together) If you would like any further information or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Chee.
Hi Everyone. My name is Evrim . I've been in Australia for 4.5 years and just love Melbourne. I am Turkish and after completing English studies I have been undertaking managment courses. I also work in the evenings ; So I am kept pretty busy. I am tidy, clean up after myself and I am easy going. I am looking for a place/room to call home. Please let me know
I spend part of my week in Carlton North in a creative studio working with like minded designers and creatives, with a strong focus on sustainable design. I spend the other part of my week at RMIT finishing my third and last degree. I love yoga, I'm vegetarian 90% of the time (other people eating meat or fish doesn't bother me) and try and get to the Dandeonongs or Peninsula if I ever have a day to spare (which is not often enough). I'm tidy, easy-going and stay quite busy during the week. I like being in beautiful yet simple spaces (a product of studying design). I try and eat pretty healthy but can't go without the occasional dark chocolate treat. I'm looking to live with people who live relatively healthy lives, enjoy what they do, enjoy quiet time and also up for a chat over tea.
Hi I'm Maddy and I am a Physiotherapist working close to Melbourne city. I'm a very easygoing person and enjoy meeting new people! I work 5/6 days a week so am usually pretty busy but like to spend my spare time catching up with friends or family. I would love to get to know my potential housemates and have dinners/go out for some drinks but I am also quite independent and respectful of others personal space :) Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey guys and gals The names Hanna I've been in Melbourne now just over 6 months and love it, looking for a lovely crib to lay my head at night!! Non smoker easy going recently got myself a house plant (pretty sure that means I'm a adult) working on lygon as a waitress so if you don't mind living with a hospo worker then I'm the housemate for you.
I'm Ani, 29 years old from London and I'm now in Australia with a professional job in the cbd after travelling in Latin America and beyond for around 2 years! I love Melbourne and I'm looking for a nice apartment with (a) lovely flatmate(s). I'm clean and respectful and not a crazy party girl (I prefer to keep the party out of the house) and enjoy my own space as much as socialising. Generally very healthy living, yoga, dance, gym, good food, good vibes.
Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently studying Photography at RMIT and working part time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment, but also being aware of the occasional study cram before exams and housemates being considerate of this time. Thanks! :)
Looking for a place to call home> From Tassie, Have been living and working in Melbourne for 2 years now. I like to cook and wander about and watch movies and eat vegies and drink fancy beer.
I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil, I am currently interning in a architecture studio in CBD area . I am very organized and clean, but I know I have some sloppy days, but I swear I try to avoid them. I believe is very important to keep things clean and organized, specially when you are sharing your house with someone else. I am not a party person, I don't really like to drink but I won't refuse some occasional drinks. Usually I prefer to stay at home at night, unless ther is a special occasion. If I could, I would probably die watching Netflix, but I also like to exercise, I am really into cross fit. or riding my bike around Melbourne getting to know new places. Hi! I'm Alexandra; a 22 year old swede who is looking for a place to stay, preferably with some fun and friendly flatmates. I will be arriving in Melbourne on the fifth of October to meet new people, work and experience Melbourne. I'm outgoing and social but also very responsible and tidy. I enjoy drinking wine, cooking (maybe mostly the eating part), hanging out with friends and just taking it easy as well. I would like flatmates I feel like I could have a chat with, share a meal with or have a glass of wine with. I believe I would make a great flatmate!
Hello! I am currently in the last year of my Masters, and also working part time as a landscape gardener. I am looking for a share house with people of a similar age and preferably a mix of guys and girls. Send me a message for some more info or if you think I sound like a potential fit for your house :)

Hi I'm Christina, I will shortly be moving from Canberra to Melbourne to start a new full time job as a Research Assistant at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. About me, I am social and enjoy social sports and music. I have lived in a number of share houses and enjoy chit chat and the odd drink, but am respectful of others privacy. If you want to know anything else, just contact me. Cheers
Pretty Clean, out-going, into music, sports and film. I'm in my early twenties and originally from the UK where I recently just finished my Degree. I am a sociable guy and hope to find a good exciting house to be a part of. I enjoy going out as much as a night in and I'm always looking for new experiences to try. Big on Music and have yet have had the chance to see what Melbourne has to offer so hopefully you'll be able to show me its hidden gems. Apart from music I enjoy sports (playing and watching) and love film.
