I am a 25 year old, starting as a Research Assistant / PhD student at The University of Melbourne. Preferably looking for something close (walking or biking distance) to the Carlton campus. Originally from the Netherlands, I have spent the past two years in the north of Finland. I am a tidy person, keeping my apartment in a clean condition, with a very strong preference for non-smoking apartments. In my free time I enjoy a variety of sports, as well as social events, tv shows, and reading.
Hi ! I'm Régis, I'm a french student in an engineering school in Paris. I'll be 3 months in Melbourne for an internship at the university. I'm looking for a shared house around the university where I could find a friendly environment I think I'm clean and easy going person :) I'm passionate of music ( I play piano and accordion ) and I like very much mountain sports :-) I practice rock climbing and I hope can do some in Melbourne ! I also do enjoy visiting and exploring, so I look forward to moving a bit to see Melbourne and its surroundings :)
Short and sweet, I'm 25, been in melbs 3 years now, keen traveller, industrial design student and handy with a soccer ball. I love a yarn, I'm clean (around the home that is), friendly as pie, tall enough that I should play footy (always up for a kick), could play with a Frisbee for hours, have an amazing dog Ruby (back in the motherland of Brisvegas), have myself a sexy fixed gear for the motivated days and a trusty car for the lazy days. What else. Ahhhh beer - gimme', dance party at home - sure, skate - hello, surf - I'll try, furniture - yep! Shoot me all the questions. Cheers
My name is Tamara. I'm 28, and I'm an occupational therapist, working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (Royal Park). It's a 9-5 job, and I love what I do. My other interests include: anything musical (I play the violin and piano), running, cooking/baking, cycling, hiking, socialising, food/wine and spending time with friends and family. I'm very easy going, I keep things clean, and I'm respectful of others. I've lived in share houses for years and know how to live happily with other people.
I am a 29 year old New Zealander looking to build up an awesome life here in Melbourne! I'm looking for a longer term lease (6+ months) with an awesome group of housemates to enjoy living and spending time with! I am a full time IT professional and I don't mind fixing your computer haha! Highly flexible in terms of social outings and love trying something new. Interests include interpretive dance, hiking, gym and physical activity, music, audio, sports in general and I am a big cricket fan, food and exploration in general.
I moved to Melb in Jan and am looking for a new place because I want to get closer to the city and because my girlfriend's visa up so she is heading back to the UK in June so I need a place for one rather than two. That being said, I am trying to find a place before she goes, so hoping to find someone that doesn't mind her being around for a month or so (though we are happy to contribute more to rent/bills during that time). A bit about me, I am a 26 year old also working big kid hours. I also volunteer one night a week, so with that and work, I usually keep it pretty quiet during the week. I love anything outdoors, including hiking, gardening, and generally exploring so I do this most weekends because I am stuck at a desk during the week. My most recent trips include Cape Schanck a few weekends ago and Phillip Island over Easter. I also love all things live music so I am often out at gigs or shows. I am also enjoying all that Melbourne has to offer food-wise, so I love checking out the odd café on the weekend. As for the nitty gritty, I have lived in shared houses for quite a while and am well house-trained (beyond just cleaning my dishes) and I think I am generally pretty easy to live with. I am pretty independent during the week but then love hanging around and having a drink or chat when people are around. If you think I am a good fit, feel free to get in touch!
I am a Dane on adventure. Will be studying Biomedical Science at Uni of Melbourne, starting mid-July. If I should describe myself, I would say that I am a happy, chill person and crazy enough to move across the globe. Besides studying, I play bass guitar and sing, which I have done professionally. I also enjoy watching Netflix for hours. I hope the description is enough, otherwise, send me a message :D
Hey people - I'm looking for a place to live at that I can feel comfortable and happy in and possibly start a new social network with as well! This means I'm open to teaming up and finding a lease :) I'm a very good communicator and a sensible and responsible person. Also an experienced professional with job security and home share experience. Enjoy participating and watching sport, like to exercise at the gym regularly while eating healthy food and am hopeful of staying close to the area I've spent most of my life in. Because of my work, have some flexibility :) Can cook, like running a veggie garden, open to pets. Very respectful of others space/privacy but would ideally share a place with people that are also on the extroverted spectrum - I like company :)
Hi I'm Philip, Chilean man, sometimes an engineer, a dreamer, a bicycle user, a sociable man, a philosopher, a cook, an adventurous man, well... a responsible, respectful and mature person. Love to watch movies and read books, I'm learning guitar arpeggios!. I wish could tell you more but I'd rather prefer to talk about me in person. Lately I've been feeling so comfortable with myself, infinite posibilites come to my mind... kind regards from everyone!
Hi, I am Garry a French Barista from Paris based in Melbourne. I am looking for a private room to move in a mixed share house. I am mature and independent big boy of 31 years focused on my job and my hobbies which are coding, drawing and sport. I am a good communicator, who can bring stories to the table about my different exotic travels. Also I like to share a glass of wine/meal at the right moment to keep the good vibes. I am respectful of others, and I know how to keep tidy the kitchen and bathroom after using them. Looking forward to hearing from one of you!
I am going to Melbourne from July until November to study law at the University of Melbourne for one semester. I am an easygoing 25 year old girl from Denmark who turns 26 in July. At home i have been living by myself for about 7 years so i know how important it is to keep a clean environment and how important it is to respect others privacy. With that said, I also enjoy social activities and it would be amazing to have roommates in Melbourne who also appreciates to be social and do things together once in a while. I get along with a large variety of people and dont make any trouble.
Hi Everyone, I am a young Australian student studying in Princes Hill looking for a comfortable house to share in the inner-city area. I am a happy, positive and clean person that will add cheerful vibes to any living environment. I am responsible and respectful and am used to the communal dynamics of a share house. I love exercising, exploring Melbourne, gardening, cooking healthy food (vegan and vegetarian) op shopping and socialising. I love animals, am a sustainable person, do yoga and speak Italian. As well as having some down-time and studying, I love meeting new people and going out with friends. I would love to hear from people with positive attitudes and friendly homes to share.
I am a 20 year old student studying mathematics and philosophy at Melbourne uni. Looking for a place to stay for the rest of this year. Originally from Cairns, I have lived around the world. I speak French, Serbian and English. Musician, clean, tidy and respectful. I am a former hurdler, now potato (couch). I'm slowly getting back into it, so I cook healthy food and will cook for you too. If you like brownies I'll do those too.
outgoing, friendly, tidy and very reliable guy who is a contracted electrician and personal trainer student. p.s. I will only consider places with its own private room.
Hi future roomies! I am looking to move into a house with mature roommates who are social but also like their own downtime. Ideally it would be a place where we all enjoy each others company and it wouldn't be odd to have a glass of wine together at the end of the day! About me: I am 30 years old and currently a student studying digital media, with high hopes of working in motion design. I am also a makeup artist and work at Mecca Cosmetica part-time. I'm a creative type, go with the flow, dry sense of humour, love wine, nights in, anything with a theme, as well as beer gardens on the weekend. I don't take hour long baths in a shared bathroom, wake at 5am and blend smoothies, aggressively stomp through corridors or engage in any other such offensive activities. I have a lot of rental experience and have been lucky enough to have never had any issues. I am friendly, chilled and respectful, pay my bills on time and can take a cue from fellow roomies. I have an adorable 2 year old dog- he is Brussels Griffon. For those wondering what that is here is a nerd fact - George Lucas modelled Chewbacca/Ewoks on his family dog which was a Brussels Griffon..... anyway... he is well behaved, hypoallergenic and acts like a cat mostly. My main prerequisite would be a place with a fenced yard and humans who would love him as much as I do. If you need any more information send me an email! Thanks!
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. And food. And overseas trips. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!
Easygoing student studying at Melb Uni, working casually (with plenty of hours) at a cafe/bar in the city.
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
I'M looking for a fab house/apartment to move into with some chill people. I'd like somewhere sooner rather than later, but am pretty flexible with moving dates. I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. I'm not home very much as I like to keep myself busy, but when I am I like to enjoy my space and keep things tidy and clean. I'm not too fussed on anything else. At the moment I'm just working full time in hospo in the city, but will begin studying fashion merchandising at RMIT mid year. Other than that I like to create, make, photograph things when I find the time. I like having a good time and go out and socialise with friends at bars etc. a bit. I'm usually quiet coming home though and don't really bring the party back to the house. I do also enjoy going to festivals and try to go to gigs when I'm not working. Im all about good times and chill vibes so I'm not too keen on unnecessary drama or negativity. I'll give you your space if you want it, but I will also be there to chat/throw banter/chill with. So if you're cool with that then hmu pls xox
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Looking for full time finance work. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates. I love cooking for myself and others, though i am not very good at it! Really approachable guy if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch
Hi, My name is Medina Huzejrovic I'm 33 years old; work part-time as an Engineer for Wagstaff Piling while completing Masters in Engineering. I am of Eastern European descent (Russian/Bosnian) - was brought up to be courteous, kind and considerate also VERY tidy and clean :) I am very family orientated and treat my friends as if they were family - i believe in caring for one another so ideally i am looking for a household which represents those principles. I am very much into keeping fit and healthy (i was a gymnast prior moving to Australia) so now i practice a lot of Pilates and Yoga plus the occasional run. LOVE quality nutrition and yummy wine :) But i am not a great cook - however, am always wanting to learn. I would like to join a sharehouse-hold that cares and respects one another. For some, this may sound all too serious, however of course like most of us i like to socialise and party. I was very much in the party scene nowadays it's the occasional night out - love seeing live music, festivals and occasionally hit up the nightclub dance floor Currently, i am living in Brunswick thus am looking to stay local - am available most afternoons/early evenings after work to inspect and meet the occupants; feel free send me an SMS with link to property and your availability - if interested.
Hey potential flatmates, my name is Mahali, a German 33 years old Student (female) from Leipzig, who is urgently looking for a place to call home. Since February 20th I am studying fulltime in the Postgraduate-Program in Fine Arts at RMIT so I am looking for a long time accommodation (min. 6 month). I am an easy-going, independent and open minded flatmate, who is respectful in space but also likes to hang out for a chat from time to time, have an occasional meal/coffee/beer together or to go out for concerts/events if opportunity offers. But I am definitly not looking for a party-house (as I will have a quite busy week ( incl. weekends). I am looking for like- and openmided people who consider their flatmates more as friends than necessary strangers to pay the rent! In my free time I enjoy: - running (do you have some green arround? - PERFECT!) - yoga (I am a certified teacher =) - cooking (well currently I am on a Bread - Chees ´n Butter diet... that will hopefully change when a new kitchen is available) - listening to music (curious to see what goes in Melbourne) - gardening (I love flowers but also a good tomato out of the Garden ) - and travelling (I guess I am out of the moment !) ....Yes, well I am also into art (what else---keen to explore the Melbourne Art-Scene), design and architecture. Overall I am a responsible, clean and most time tidy person, who pays on time and who try's to live economical concerning water and electricity. If you think that sounds like what you are looking for, please message/call me back. Happy to hear from you soon, Mahali NO ROOMSHARE OFFERS PLEASE! Please read carefully! My max budget is 185 +bills, or 210 all inc.
