We're a Spanish couple that has lived in Ireland, England, Italy, Switzerland and of course, Spain. We're now trying to enjoy our year here as much as possible. She's an architect who's working in a studio at the CBD and I'm a journalist and translator that freelances as much as takes part time jobs in hospitality. We keep it chilled during the weeks and are up for everything during the weekends. Either having a bottle of wine, cooking or going out to a concert or to play some sport works for us, and we'll be making trips every now and then. We also have Netflix, HBO-Go and Amazon Prime Video, so we'll also enjoy our own time binge-watching any new show. We've lived on our own, in student accomodations and with other people, so we know the importance of respecting everyone's space while trying to keep a family vibe within the house 🏡
Hello future housemates! I've recently finished studying (yay!) and as I'm back to working full-time in the city I'm looking for a more convenient place to live - a house that feels like a home and friendly, mature, interesting people to share it with. More about me… I’m clean and tidy and respectful of other people’s space, and just as happy chatting and hanging out as I am relaxing on my own. More of a dinner with friends than a house-party kind of person but hey, I can be convinced. ;) When I’m not at work (or hiding from Melbourne winters) I love to get outdoors as much as possible - hiking, climbing, camping, biking - anything really. I’ve been lucky enough to travel and work overseas quite a bit, and I love learning other languages/cultures/perspectives and being challenged in my own. I do also work from home occasionally, so a space where I can do that is important. Oh, and I come with a cat. She’s really small (though her personality isn’t) and incredibly well-behaved - if you don’t like her, she will leave you completely alone. I'm not her original human but he went overseas and so she's stuck with me now. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi there! I am currently looking at moving closer to where I work in Parkville - tired of the commute from the other side of Melbourne! Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for about 3-4 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). As well as working full-time, I participate in things such as music rehearsals & other activities, so I am not at home very much. When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
I'm a Dietitian working full time in a metro hospital. I'm easy going, enjoy cooking and a glass of wine now and then over a chat. I value cleanliness and respecting others space and belongings in a house
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 24-year-old, currently completing my masters degree in food science at University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I'm completing my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I do part time research work at uni and also involved in contract work with few food manufacturing companies relating to quality assurance and microbiological safety. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up!
I'm Olalla! A 24-year-old Spanish girl, recently graduated in architecture who has been just granted the Work&Holiday visa for a year. My plan is to look for an internship in an architecture studio in Melbourne and work there for the next 11 months. I love going to parks, live music shows, and museums. At home, I love cooking and sharing my meals, watching weird films and listening to music while dancing. I'm a tidy person, mainly in the common areas of the house, and I get adapted to different situations very quickly.

Hi!!! I am 24 years old Australian and looking for a place to stay for my PhD with CSIRO in Parkville. I will need to stay for more than a year, starting in November as my current lease expires in that month. I am a clean, social, chilled, fun person who loves to cook and willing to share food. I am also a Marvel fan and enjoy watching new movies and Netflix. I am a non-smoker and non-alcoholic. I worked in professional before for 2 years in Sydney. I have lived in sharehouse before in Melbourne and Sydney, pay all the bills on time and contribute to clean-up of the common area. I love to go to the beach and bushwalking on the weekend, exploring new places and enjoy good food from restaurants and cafes. I will need to travel to Sydney occasionally next year as part of my PhD project. If you have a good room, feel free to message me. Thanks
Me and my friend Cameron are looking for cozy place to call home around the 18th of October. We are looking for somewhere social and relaxed, that has two rooms available and is close to a train station, and bonus points if it is also close to the 86 tram! We would love to be able to have dinner together and drinks occasionally too :) A bit about us, we have been friends for over 4 years, living together for 2 of those: Inez - 22 works at a government call centre on their social media team, will cook a lot of delish meals all the time, probably will get overly excited by a lot of things including terrible jokes, has a hot sauce problem, going to uni to be a social worker. Cameron - 21 works at retail support call centre, loves a good wine, literally will make the best shepherds pie you have ever had, does a lot volunteering for youth in different groups, will always hype you up before any event. We also have another lovely roommate called Steve who is also just a sweetheart, so if your property has 3 rooms, feel free to message us too because that would be ideal! All of us have been living together for a long time and can provide excellent references from our landlord, and our neighbours. We know how to look after a house and a garden so there is no stress there. We all have to move out by the 18th of October, so feel free to shoot us a message if you want us to check out your place for either 2 or 3 rooms! Look forward to hearing from you, Inez
Hi, my name is Konstantin and my passion is coffee. Thatswhy I have decided to quit my Berlin (Germany) based office job and come to Melbourne, to learn everything about coffee that I don't know yet. I will stay in Melbourne for 1 year, before I return to Berlin to open up my own coffee roasting business. I am a fun, laid-back person who likes to cook and go out with friends. I am very considerate, attentive and tidy and will respect everyones privacy. I love photography and film making as well as watching a good movie or tv-series at home or in the theatre. Whenever I can, I also go to the stadium to watch some football (soccer;)). I am looking forward to meet some nice, interesting people who enjoy some good chats and great company. Free German course included ;)
Hi, I’m Ricci! I’m 26 and I’m a super-awesome Kindergarten Teacher!! I’d describe myself as sunshiny (if that’s a personality descriptor), optimistic, kind and generally easy to get on with kind of person. I value people with a sense of humour and fun about them and strive to be like that myself! I love travelling, Swing Dancing, wandering through markets, brunch with friends/family, board games and generally just enjoying life! After a long day with my class of three to five-year-olds I'm usually pretty keen to just come home, relax and watch some T.V, but I also love to have chat and swap some stories too! I have lived in my fair share of share houses over the past 7 years or so and understand the importance of being respectful of others, cleaning up after oneself and pitching in with all the little jobs that make a household function effectively. I also understand and respect the importance of treating the house as a home, not just as a place to live and would intend to do so. I'm ultimately looking to move some time around late september to mid october. I have a little bit of flexibility here though.
Hi guys, My name is Laura I'm 29 originally from Colombia. I'm a barista working full time and studying part time. I'm a tidy, respectful, kind, loyal, easy going and LGBT person. I'm looking for a cosy place to live. I'm really interested in moving soon so I'd like to have a chat with my future flatmates. Let me know if it's possible to visit the place. Cheers

Hey guys! We're currently living in a sharehouse in Carlton but our lease is coming to an end so we are looking for another place in the area, preferably with some laid back housemates in a cool little place. Shaun and I are currently studying (at Uni Melb and La Trobe) and working part time, so we're relatively busy people (during the semester) but would love to find a house where a little cheese and wine, a party, or a house movie doesn't go astray!
Hi, my name is Rose I work as a part-time nurse and studies Leadership and management. I am very neat, cleans the house and a very good cook. I am easy to be with, loves to have a chat with other housemates and also respects others privacy and alone time. I love to travel and climb mountain peaks, and have great adventure stories to tell as well.
I have just moved to Melbourne from Milan. I am doing a PhD in Engineering at the University of Melbourne. I am Persian and almost 27 yo. I enjoy reading, socialising, trekking, listening to music and a chalice of wine with friends. My friends know me as an open-minded, respectful and responsible person.
I’m Will, recently arrived from New Zealand. I’ve been looking for a new challenge/adventure and just scored an awesome job in Melbourne working with a hospitality social enterprise that supports young people. It’s a leap into the unknown.. both job and city! But I’m super excited. I’m looking for somewhere friendly, positive and sociable to live. I’m thoughtful, reliable, and independent, valuing my own space and yours. Not a big club/party guy.. like to keep things pretty routined; relaxed during the week, but always up for solving the problems of the world over a glass of good wine, Netflix series or getting out to explore and try new things. I’m really into health and fitness, love healthy eating/ cooking, group fitness, biking, walking and generally active relaxing. I also love coffee and finding markets, events & amazing wholefood cafes. Not adverse to a Netflix binge or good movie either.
Hi! I am Daniel from Mexico, I just finished my master's and will be staying in Melbourne for work. I'm pretty laid back and know how to clean after myself and keep the place tidy. I am also easy going and like to watch movies, catch up with friends having a drink once in a while and discover new places with good food.
Hey, I’m Ben. Just having a little snoop at the moment but would be looking to move in somewhere a little closer to the city to align with a work re-location later in the year. Pretty stock standard 25 year old during the week, as an Account Coordinator at Nike (discount for dayssss). I enjoy getting around a few beers in the company of good music and better people at the week’s end.
Hello Hope you're doing good. My name is Divya and I'll be coming to Melbourne for my Masters studies in Business at Federation University. I'll be doing some part-time job for sure to meet my expenses. I would preferably like to live in a house that makes me feel at home. I am an Indian, so if you like food, you're in luck as i can definitely cook a couple of delicious dishes that I can bet you'll love. I have done my graduation in Food Technology so, anyone's living with me will have the benefits of my expertise in food products. :) As I'll be only working part time and I'll be trying to save up for a holiday overseas, I don't have a huge budget to blow on rent or bills, however a reasonable rent with internet and bills included would be awesome. I am 23 and mature enough to respect other person's privacy. I know my way around house chores and prefer to live in a tidy place. Also, I love pets so If you've got any, I would love to sit them. Thanks for your consideration, Warm Regards Divya
Hi. I'm at Melbourne Uni researching epilepsy as part of my PhD. I've been living in the SE suburbs with friends but I'm keen to cut my commute down. I'm easy going and generally keep to myself, though I'd be keen to find housemates so hang out with. I just need the occasional social isolation to recharge. I would say I'm moderately clean, I'm not a slob, but I'm not going to complain if you leave dishes undone for the night because you had a rough day. I generally spend my downtime playing games (computer of board games) with the occasional hike somewhere. Or if I'm feeling productive (and if there's room in the house) I might tinker with my 3D printer.
I am an art teacher who loves music, art, cooking, reading. I appreciate honest, clear communication. I have a lot of experience with share housing and understand the balance necessary between sharing together and privacy. I am clean and respectful of others. I prefer to live with females.
I am a postgraduate student from The Netherlands and will do a research project at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health for 6 months. At home, I live in a quiet area with my long-term boyfriend and puppy for over two years now. I am looking for a nice home in Melbourne during my internship. I am very sociable and I like to chat, but I also like the quiet and peaceful. Furthermore, I would like to get to know more about the Australian culture and the country! Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem. In addition, I really like to cook and bake, so you would be getting a lot of cookies.
I just arrived in Melbourne, found a job and now I am looking for a room in a warm house. To introduce myself quickly, I am french, 27 yo, I was travelling the world with a friend by an old motorbike during more than a year. We crossed Europe then Asian. Now I really need to leave my suitcases somewhere and to feel at home ! If I can find flatmates which them I can share sometimes a meal, a chat or a glass of wine, it could be wonderful :) And in an other hand, I like be indepandant as well. I like to watch good movie, to play guitar, to gardening, to paint, to go to music gigs... and especially to laugh ! Just another thing, I love pets and I can not have one cause of my trip, so if someone has one, I will be the happiest girl ! I am looking for flatmates easy-going, eco-life style, clean, responsable, funny, smiling :) By the way, I'm vegetarian (little bit flexible). I don't have any furnitures (so I'm really interesting to buy some to someone else!!)
