I am a female in my mid-twenties looking for a private single or double room close to the city preferably with another female. No room shares please! I arrive in Melbourne on the 24th of October on a Working Holiday Visa and will need a room for about 6-9 months. I intend on working full time so rent and bills would always be paid on time. I'm tidy, responsible and considerate of others. I'm quiet but also friendly and easy going so I'm up for either chats or each keeping to themselves! :) I like cooking, binge watching shows, concerts, cinema, yoga (although I'm a super beginner), reading and tea. Green tea to be exact :) Also I don't smoke and would prefer a non-smoking flat.
I have been living in Auckland for the past year; now coming back to Australia for university at RMIT and will be going into a BA of Photography. I'd say I'm a fairly chilled person. I also play the clarinet and have been for ten years, that'll be coming with me. I don't smoke or have any pets, just myself, clarinet and small collection of cameras. I am not the go out and party ever night kind, I'd rather say in or go out somewhere nice with a couple of friends. So I won't be throwing any huge parties. I am looking for a room in Melbourne with fantastic flatmates. Only visited Melbourne a few times so I don't know my way around but am ready for a new city and new people.
Hey, I'm Ashley and I'm 23 years old, I work full time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm for an insurance company in Southbank. I am originally from the Gold Coast, been living in Melbourne for the past 9 months. I am looking for a sublet or something minimum 3 months. On my weekends I love exploring new places around Melbourne and having a few casual drinks. I am looking for some down to earth, open minded roommates who I can share a drink and chat with at the end of the day. Talk soon!
Hi there - I am a considerate, reliable and friendly housemate. I work full-time in HR at a Hospital and I'm originally from Brisbane but living in Melbourne. I like to unwind with friends and enjoy getting out and about exploring all Melbourne has to offer on the weekends. I like to keep fit and enjoy cooking. I'm hoping to find a place that feels like home, not just a house.
Hey! I'm Richard, a twenty something year old working full time in the CBD. I'm a clean and tidy person, looking for a private room somewhere in the inner north suburbs. I love sport, travelling, cooking, and am looking for some easy going, sociable housemates.
Hi All, I am currently completing my postgrad honours research and unfortunately my lease runs out at the same time my thesis is due (mid-October). However, I'm not ready to leave Melbourne yet. With plans to move interstate next year to co tiny my research in a new lab I'm in need of a temporary home from early October- January/February. In addition, I'm a part time medic and an enthusiastic gym goer who competes in IFBB figure. I enjoy a solid banter sesh over some wine and cheese and will always ensure there is a cookie jar full of freshly baked goods.
'm 25 and studying the JD at Melbourne uni full time. I also have a part time job at a family law firm in the city. These both keep me quite busy, I'm often at the library studying. This means when I'm at home I do like a relaxed and quiet house. I'm always up for a chat and a few wines though! I'm really clean and tidy and love to bake all kinds of yummy things. I'm also really organised with life so I'll always pay my rent on time and contribute my fair share to the house.
Originally from Canberra, currently reside in Carlton North. Seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner northern or eastern suburbs for move in September. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Moved back to Perth from London last year and now moving to Melbourne for a charity marketing job in the CBD. Very easy to live with. Excited to get to know Melbourne :)
Hi there! Full-time nutritionist working in health promotion at a not-for-profit in the CBD fringe. Food-lover (not a Nazi - I love my chocolate and ice cream), like to cook my own meals when I can, enjoy a glass of vino every now and again and share one with my housie(s) when the opportunity arises. Am very independent though and respectful of others spaces. I am well house-trained and very neat and tidy. I love catching up with friends over brunch, dinner, at a bar, go to the movies or generally just check out what's happening in Melbourne at the time! I also like to stay active and try to get my workouts over and done with before work (so I'm a morning person). I bring with me a 50-inch TV, tv unit, fridge and a variety of different kitchen items. My current housemate is moving back home to save a bit of $$ before buying a place so I can bring along more (wherever needed) if she decides to sell her furniture/white goods!
I'm a 23 year old, Occupational Therapist who has recently moved down to Melbourne from Brisbane. Being from sunny Queensland, I enjoy being outside and exploring as well as cooking , exercising (trying out the new fitness trend) and especially music and going to gigs. I'm not into clubbing but prefer meeting up with friends for dinner or movies. I like to live in a clean and tidy space, am quite easy going and respectful of others. I am looking for a place that I can call home and housemates I classify as friends.
I'm 25 years old from Sweden here on a working holiday visa which runs out in May next year. I love Melbourne and don't have any plans on leaving for at least six months. Currently working at a sandwich place in the CBD, so I work Monday-Friday. If I'm not working I love a night in just chilling, going shopping (love finding new op shops), I love cooking, listening to music, not shy for a few bevs over the weekend but I'm not a crazy party girl. I love to keep clean around me and I always pay my bills on time. I also respect the privacy of others but I'm always down for a chat or having a meal together with my housemates. I'm a very relaxed person but I'm always up for an adventure. I'm a smoker (unfortunately) but I will always go outside. I'm way more fun in real life, I just suck at writing these types of things haha. I currently live in St Kilda but want to relocate to explore more of Melbourne. If you want a reference from my current landlord, I'm happy to provide you with that. So if you're interested in getting to know me more, just shoot me a message!
I'm tidy, I can cook, love to be an introvert! I will mostly be working or at university so will not spend LOADS of time at home. I have one tiny dog who is toilet trained and am looking for a place that is pet-friendly, however, if it is unreasonable I can make other arrangements for her! :)
Hey future housemate/land lord! My name is Chero and Im a Swedish/Kurdish exchange student from Uppsala, Sweden, studying Landscape Architecture at the University of Melbourne. Most people would descibe me as an easy-going, optimistic, chill and ambitious person. To the list I would also like to add that Im a very responsible person and I like to keep things clean around me. When Im not at the University of Melbourne (til late nights, studying), I like to go out for a jog, go to cafés and explore the city. Meeting new people is always interesting and I would call myself a social person who likes to mingle, whether its during the day or during the night. I have lived in dorms and share houses and know the importance of privacy and I respect and am very aware of personal spaces. *Im interested in renting til mid december. I hope this sounds interesting to you and look forward to meeting you! Chero

My fiancé, Dylan, and I are relocating in the middle of October from interstate and are looking for a short term living arrangement while getting ourselves settled in Melbourne. We are both professionals with tertiary qualifications, neat, friendly and love a good meal. We have both lived out of home for over 5 years so are quite independent.... plus, Dylan is a qualified pastry chef so maybe he will cook you a dessert or two 😊🍰
27 year old gal. Full time student nurse, part time macaroon seller. I spend a lot of my weeknights studying and if I'm not working one weekends I'll attempt to go on a nature based adventure. Prefer to do my own thing, foodwise. However, always down to get in on an ubereats situation. I mostly just enjoy yoga, eating and watching trashy tv. Been doing the house share thing since the beginning of time so I'm very respectful, friendly and clean. I do have a car so will require a permit or free parking zones close by.
I'm in my late 20s, doing a postgrad at Melbourne Uni and working part-time. I'm friendly and easy going, love to have a couple of wines and hangs with housemates but also respect the need for downtime and privacy. When I'm not working or studying, I'm mostly going to gigs, exploring the city, going to the gym or catching up with friends. I'm looking for a new house because the owner of the house I'm currently renting (with two other lovely humans) has decided to sell. I'm very reliable (rent, bills etc) and respectful of others. Any questions, ask away!

Hi there, Originally from NZ (originally originally South Africa) and have been living in Melbourne a little over two years - lovely town you've got here. I like to think I tick the basic flatmate boxes; very clean, prompt with the bills, fairly sociable and quite relaxed. Work takes up a fair chunk of my time - I'm with a ticketing company. If I get the chance I'm not opposed to spending a bit of time away from the city with a hike/camping trip here and there. I've taken up a little bit of amateur running after hours (13k coming up!) I'm also into watching a flick here and there and have certainly been sucked into the Game of Thrones fiasco. Would be great to potentially catch up. Cheers, Kyle
Hey guys, My name's Chris, and I work full time in the city as a Recruitment Consultant. A bit about myself, well I'm completely drama free, enjoy relaxing and also socialising too. I clean up after myself (currently living with 2 girls so I've learned well), I've been told if I was anymore laidback, I'd be falling over, so if you're after a chill house mate, who pays on time (no excuses), I'm game.
Hello! I'm currently a post grad student at Melbourne Uni in humanities/social sciences and also work 4-5 days p/w in research. Am super easy going, tidy and respectful of other people. Hobbies include film, literature, music and wining and dining. Also enjoy cycling about, travel, hiking/camping, and discovering new places. Thank you
Hello everyone. My name is Ahmad. I'm a University of Melbourne student. I will be studying Master of International Business and my classes are commencing from July 24, 2017. But i am arriving at melbourne on July 6, 2017. I am looking for a shared room (Twin share only) in nearby suburbs of Uni Melb's Parkville Campus like Carlton or Fitzroy etc. I am a muslim and from Pakistan. I am single and a jolly person. I am a Sagittarius :) I am looking for a room mate, preferably Pakistani. If not, then i have no issue with anyone else. My profile should match with my room mate so that we have many things in common. I am looking for a short term stay for like 4-6 weeks, to see how it goes, as i have never lived in share accommodation but have heard from many people that it is a great experience. I like watching and playing sports. Am a fan of movies. I also like to go out to parks, cafe's, restaurants with friends in free time. I love cooking. I don't like being alone, but at times i appreciate some privacy as well. I'm a sincere person and it would be a lovely experience if i find someone sharing same interests as me. Thank You. :)
