Looking for an large unfurnished room & to move in early Jan. I prefer to live with up to 2 flat mates and I have some household furniture. I am studying full time and relative new to Melbourne. At 49, I am incredibly well equipped to manage myself. I have my own home, so understand what’s needed. Happy to set up house with another as well.
Hey Guys!! We are two university students currently going into our 2nd/3rd years at unimelb. We have had previous share house experience and would love to find one or two more housemates to join us next year. We are clean, respectful, non-judgemental, friendly and down for fun. Also we are very sociable so enjoy having nights/days out but are also independent and enjoy a bit of netflix + down time :) Hit us up if that sounds like you xx
Looking for a place to live in a social environment close to Richmond, where I'll be working :) I've had previous share house experience and am looking forward to moving into somewhere new where I can make some good friends! I love to travel and be outdoors, go out for meals and spend time with my friends. I'm pretty relaxed and when home you'll generally find me listening to music, reading a book or chatting to my housemates. I like to have a few drinks here and there but respect the fact that a share house isn't the place to throw a party!
Hey, I’m Ben. Just having a little snoop at the moment but would be looking to move in somewhere a little closer to the city to align with a work re-location later in the year. Pretty stock standard 25 year old during the week, as an Account Coordinator at Nike (discount for dayssss). I enjoy getting around a few beers in the company of good music and better people at the week’s end.
1 MONTH SUBLET IN PRINCES HILL / BRUNSWICK - 5th to 14th of July Welcome to our lovely abode on Garton Street and your home away from home. We have all the amenities you would need. Your own spacious room with warm blankets and comfy pillow. There's also a comfy pillow to keep you cosy during the nights. You'll access to grocery markets, trams 19, 1 and 6. All just a 5 - 10 minute walk away. The walk is beautiful too as you would cross Princes Park, which is just outside the house. We are very clean and tidy group of girls living in a sharehouse from all parts of the globe. And we look forward to inviting you into our home. The place is available from the 14th of June until the 14th of July (ideally this period but shorter stay available, just contact me with your dates) PM if you have any question / are interested :)
I am polite, well spoken and happy to help out around the house. I'm from the Bendigo area, studying education and I hoping to be a teacher someday. I've lived in a share house before so I have experience in living with others and being a pleasant roommate as well as being able to mediate for household conflicts. Parkour, studying and spending time with my girlfriend are what I do when I am in the city, but I travel back to Bendigo weekly for work, friends and family. I would be looking to move in during mid January as I am going on a trip to Italy beforehand; I know this may be difficult for those looking for someone now but I am happy to discuss options if I am the perfect tenant for you. Thanks - Bryan
Hi there, my name is Grace, I'm a graphic designer working full time in publishing. In my spare time I am usually visiting art galleries, reading a book, catching up with friends, going away for the weekend or working on a multitude of side projects. I am looking for a new home around the inner north of Melbourne, with housemates who are clean, courteous, responsible but fun and would like a new friend. I like coming home and winding down over a glass of wine, and Im usually out and about on the weekends. It would be nice if you like a casual drink every now and again too. I love indoor plants! And coffee!
Hi! I am 24 years old Australian and looking for a furnished place to stay for my PhD with CSIRO in Parkville. I will need to stay for more than a year, starting on November 16th. I am a clean, social, chilled, fun person who loves to cook and willing to share food. I am also a Marvel fan and enjoy watching new movies and Netflix. I am a non-smoker and non-alcoholic. I worked in professional before for 2 years in Sydney. I have lived in sharehouse before in Melbourne and Sydney, pay all the bills on time and contribute to clean-up of the common area. I love to go to the beach and bushwalking on the weekend, exploring new places and enjoy good food from restaurants and cafes. On rainy days and nights, I like to play computer games, board games or just chat with housemates. I will need to travel to Sydney occasionally next year as part of my PhD project. If you have a good room, feel free to message me. Thanks
Hey there, I'm South African, 37 yo, been in Melbourne about a month now. I'll be here until the middle of next year at the very least, hopefully longer. I'm currently working as a bicycle tech while mulling over more career orientated work options: either a PhD or a position in an environmental consultancy role. About me: My background is in the natural sciences, working as an ecologist at the University of Cape Town. I've been on a sabbatical for the last year, fulfilling a dream of cycling up Africa. The second part of the dream was to live in a new city for a couple of years, so here I am! I'm excited to be here and looking for a place to settle so I can get properly stuck into a new life here. I'd consider myself easy going, uncomplicated, neat and tidy, and totally happy to pull my weight around the house. I wouldn't say I'm the life of the party, but I can wiggle my extremities if the mood strikes me. Honestly, I'm more comfortable at home with friends, good food and conversation...and maybe a board game, some friendly banter. I enjoy a drink and good conversation and I'm partial to a good book or series. Don't mind a bit of cooking either. I'm happiest outside though, doing something active. Specific outdoor interests include rock climbing, hiking, cycling, surfing, kayaking, camping etc. I'm keen to get involved in those activities, with others, as I settle into a Melbourne routine. Hope I get to meet you :) Sam
I’m Will, recently arrived from New Zealand. Finding my feet and looking for a new career challenge/adventure in this incredibly cool city. I’m looking for somewhere friendly, positive and sociable to live. I’m thoughtful, reliable, and independent, valuing my own space and yours. Not a big club/party guy.. like to keep things pretty routined; relaxed during the week, but always up for solving the problems of the world over a glass of good wine, Netflix series or getting out to explore and try new things. I’m really into health and fitness, love healthy eating/ cooking, group fitness, biking, walking and generally active relaxing. I also love coffee and finding markets, events & amazing wholefood cafes. Not adverse to a Netflix binge or good movie either.
So a bit about me; I'm 24, and currently between studies. I finished a bachelor of arts a few of years ago and have been doing odd stuff since then, but am planning on beginning a masters of architecture next year. I am interested in all sorts of things (sometimes too many)...such as permaculture, cooking, all sorts of music, doing various art/craft-like things such as gardening, reading and writing, and bike riding....etc. I'm looking for a communal kind of home that likes to cook and do stuff... Currently I'm working casually as a receptionist at a Physiotherapy but am looking for some other casual/part-time work.
I am currently studying a Masters degree at the University of Melbourne. Ideally, I would like to find somewhere within walking/cycling distance to uni, but if not, proximity to public transport will be important. My current lease ends in mid-January, and my actual move date can be flexible around that period of time. I am a fairly quiet person who takes my study seriously, but I would love to find a home where my housemates can also be my friends. I enjoy cooking and trying new plant-based recipes, and am always in need of a taste tester and someone to share my creations with. I am a responsible, tidy housemate, who has lived in sharehouses with a number of other people in the past. I do my best to be considerate to humans, animals and the planet, and would love to find people who share similar values.
Looking for a couple to move in to one bedroom in the house. The couple, my two friends, I was living with is moving to Mexico and I need two people to move in until the end of the lease in February. It's likely we could resign when the lease is up. The dogs in the photo are gone too, sadly. Lovely roomy Victorian house on a quiet street in Princes Hill, near Princes Park, Lygon Street, Sydney Road and 15 minutes into the CBD by tram. The house is furnished and the room comes with a queen sized mattress and a hanging rack. Paved backyard to chill out in, heaps of storage space, nice shared living room and the house stays nice and cool during the summer months. The kitchen, dining room and bathroom have just been redone. The house is partly furnished, you'll just need to furnish your own room. I have a TV, fridge, washing machine, small but bright office with a desk and lots of shelf space. It's a lovely place to live!
I'm Caitlin, I work full time in the CBD (sometimes long hours), enjoy cooking and exploring bars and restaurants, looking for a friendly place that feels like a home. I am clean and respectful. I am thinking of getting a kitten once I move, so would prefer to live with people who like the idea of that! Any questions get in touch.
ME BRIEFLY... Hi I'm Lane 🤗. And I'm seeking soulful souls for housemates; new friends to live and laugh and love this luxury we call life. I'm open to short-term stays but would love to find a forever home. I'm inclusive, creative, clean, considerate and kind. Oh, and you should know: I'm an alliteration addict too... 😂 --- ME BROADLY... Hi possible-future-housemates, I'm Lane. And I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble North or Westside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Thornbury, Fitzroy, Footscray, etc.). 🤗🏠 I'm a clean, considerate, creative kind who's also all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environment et. al. I lean left, arty, and non-binararilly. I'm house-proud, house-happy, and open to short-term or long-term options. I'm looking for a warm, welcoming, inclusive, creative, clean, open, and honest home; I co-live well and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. By day I work out of NEST (co-work space) in Thornbury and by night I sometimes do the same! I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
So Someone was recently fortunate enough to buy the apartment I'm currently living for themselves, unfortunately that means that I have to move before late November. I'm in the final stages of finishing my degree in fashion/management and work in corporate hospitality. I'm 22, I like to spend time going to gigs and taking photos and cooking etc. I'm well house trained - having lived in share houses for over 3 years. I need any place to move in between now and the 19th of November
Originally from Canberra, but promise I'm more not boring! Currently living in Kew but seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner north area. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Hello everybody, I am a student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in physics. I am from the northern Suburbs (Epping/South Morang) and am looking for a nice little place that will allow me to be closer to the university. I often work as a tutor, and I have a part time job at a restaurant. In my free time, I enjoy swimming/going to the gym, playing music (but not too loud!), reading, and watching good movies/TV. I am rather introverted as a person, and so I enjoy my privacy, but I am very friendly and enjoy a good conversation. If you think I would be a good potential housemate, please let me know!
Hi there! I'm Flavia, 27, and am just finishing up a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne Uni. I'm going to be studying Medicine next year and so I'm looking to move somewhere more convenient/cheaper than my current beautiful terrace in Kensington. I work part time for a cheese importer/distributor so always have delicious cheese on hand to share, and in my spare time I'm cooking, going for lil bike rides, or drinking a beer in the sun. I like jokes, being kind, and listening to Joni Mitchell while cooking Saturday morning waffles. I'm a respectful housemate who likes my house to feel like a home (which for me means the occasional shared meal/drinks), I always pay rent/bills on time, and am LGBT+ friendly (which I hope you are too?). I am looking for like-minded housemates who like to share the odd meal/glass of wine, but who lead full, independent lives outside of the four walls of the house. I am also looking to live with non-smokers, and generally just people who are respectful of those sharing their space. I am an easy going housemate who is organised, generous, and open-minded. I am looking for a home, not just a house, and would prefer to move in somewhere that I can stay for 12+ months, and where I can be on the lease.
Three twenty-something gals looking to fly the coup and start life closer to the city. Currently working full-time in the communications sector across an eclectic mix of organisations.

House is light filled. There is a paved courtyard with lovely vegetation and the bathroom is large with double basin and lots of cupboard space. Tram routes 1, 6 & 96 and bus routes 250 & 251 are less than 5 minutes walk or 25 minute walk to the CBD. Looking for clean, respectful, chilled, non-smoker.
Spacious 2 bed ground floor apartment in lower Brunny. Local to both Lygon and Sydney road, opposite Capital City Bike Trail and close to Princes Park. Your room is unfurnished, approx 3.5 x 2.5m including built-ins on one wall. Extra large loungeroom includes Xbox, Playstation, record player, piano, guitar, ukulele and books! Courtyard is shared with other apartments, for parking and hanging clothes, but we also have an outdoor table and chairs and a garden box and potplants, currently home to some flowers, succulents and a bunch of herbs. it is a comfortable house with very good location It’s a 400 metre walk to trams 1 and 6 stop, or 200 metre walk to tram 96. The house is located just between Lygon and Brunswick Street it means you can find bottle shops, restaurants and pubs within a few minutes’ walk.
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
I'm a 25 year old makeup artist/admin assistant who just made the move to Melbourne from Sydney. I love music, reading, crappy reality tv, keeping active and a bit of banter. I'd love to meet people who enjoy sharing a glass of wine but are also happy to do their own thing, as I'll be relatively busy. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi there ! I'm 26, French, originally leather craftswoman, but working as a cleaner for now. I'm currently sleeping from couch to couch in my friend's houses... so I often dream about a real bed in a cheerful home surrounded by lovely mates :) I used to live in several shared houses, always for a long time, always a new family ! I'm totally respectful of the personal space of each other and enjoy some quiet moments on my own but I also love to share some exciting discussions, while drinking a glass of wine or a pint of beer (or two), as well as go to exhibitions or gigs. I love animals and sports, I love discovering new songs or new restaurants, I love when a house is clean, well-decorated and smells good and... and... and I love cooking...I didn't say that I was a good cook but I really like to cook for people so give me a chance ;) Hope we will get along ! Can't wait to meeting you !
Hey, I'm Madelyn from Taiwan. I am currently living in Jakarta as an intern English teacher and will be studying Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne by February. Looking for a comfortable place where I can have my own space but also hang out with friends. I am very respectful to people's needs and hope others would respect me the same way. I'm clean and tidy and would love things to be organized. I am also easy-going, friendly, reliable and positive and I love to laugh. Oh, and I love plants and animals. During the week I will probably be really busy, so I'll need a quiet place for me to relax (or study). But on the weekend or in my spare time, I enjoy drawing, painting, reading and going to the movies. I also love outdoor activities like mountain climbing, jogging, camping or just traveling around and exploring cool and unique coffee shops. Feel free to contact me if you think I will be a suitable Flatmate. :)
Hi! My name is Josu, I am 27 years old. Im an architect who worked and lived in Bali for one year and just moved to Melbourne. Into arts, music, design, photography, social concerns. I am moving to Melbourne in January from the US (North Carolina and Minnesota). I will be working full-time at Monash Parkville Campus. For the past five years, I've lived in a vegetarian co-op with four other flatmates. As we took turns cooking dinner for each other each night, I've become a great cook. Throughout the five years, I've learned much about living with others. My flatmates would call me responsible, playful, clean, and happy. I prefer living with those who occasionally enjoy chatting or hanging out with their flatmate(s), but I'll also be quite busy during the week. In my free time, I hunt down escape rooms, plan game nights, work in cafes, run in the park, and enjoy a good craft brew.
Hi everyone! My name is Dayna and I am looking to move to Melbourne in the New Year. I am a quiet, clean and low key kind of person that gets along with others easily. I love reading, animals, hanging out with friends, cooking and going on adventures.
Hi there! I'm a 23 year old qualified physiotherapist who's taking the next year off to work in hospitality as a 'gap year' before starting the career i'll do for the rest of my life. I've lived in sharehouses for 4 years and am extremely well house trained. I love: cooking (eating), boogying, drinking beers, an occasional netflix sesh and generally socialising with my housemates. I'm looking for a sharehouse of likeminded people. I come with a beautiful upright piano that I certainly don't play enough, so anyone interested who could encourage me to play is a+.
I'm a 32 year old female secondary teacher (Drama, English and Media!). I'm interested in finding a place to live for 12+ months as I'll be starting a new full time teaching job in January. I've been teaching in regional Victoria for the past two years so pretty excited about moving back to a city! I'm working out in the country until right before Christmas, but pretty interested in getting a place sorted before December gets crazy :) Other than teaching, I really love going to gigs, love a bit of live storytelling, movies, podcasts, reading, baking, hiking, board games etc! I love being part of a friendly, clean and respectful household. I also have a dog called Wombat - she's a small chocolate schnoodle (schnauzer x poodle cross). She is super affectionate, toilet trained, non-shedding and is pretty much the best!
About me: I'm 25 and currently working full time in the CBD during the week. I've done the share house thing before and know how to make it work! I'm very social and often have something on most evenings of the week. Despite this I'm still a homebody and love to have a nice relaxing place to come home to and would love to share with people with similar schedules. I'm not looking for a party house but happy for people to pop over for dinners/movies/short stays. What I'm looking for: I'm looking for a cosy, clean and friendly house-hold; ideally a home that is set up already with white goods, furniture etc. I do have a dining table and chairs which I'm happy to store or set up in the house if need be, plus all bedroom furniture and some good kitchen stuff. I love to cook so more than happy to cook a communal meal every now and then but pretty content to prep meals for myself as well. Ideally I'd be sharing with max. 2 others but open to more depending on the size of the house/schedules/etc. I'm quite environmentally conscious and would like to be living with people that are too. LGBTQI friendly. Pets are okay too, though not great with lots of pet hair! Location & Parking: I have a car so off-street parking is preferred though not a deal breaker if not available. Working in the CBD, living somewhere close to public transport is a must for me! Timeframe: My current lease ends around 24 December 2018. Looking to secure and move in between 10-21 December 2018. I'm looking for something that's available for 4-6 months or month-to-month (though relatively secure). Budget: Ideal $200/wk. Max $240/wk. Internet would be fab! Please feel free to email or text me if you have something that would be suitable.
Hey guys! I'm Shannon a 24 year old Nurse from the UK on a skilled visa working part time in Parkville. I'm really easy to get along with, always up for a chat, drink and a laugh as well as appreciating everyone's space. Very chilled, know how to clean up after myself. As a nurse I can work a variety of shifts so respectful of others schedules. When i'm not at work I love going out with friends, exploring Melbourne, being a foodie, playing netball, going to gigs. I like to try and keep busy, try new things and see new places but of course also love a chilled night in. Looking for a room to move into end of november. please feel free to message me if you have a great room or have any questions!
Hello, I’m Natalie, 31, and looking for somewhere to call home here in Melbourne. I’m here for a year on a working holiday visa working at a restaurant/cafe in the day, and looking to stay longer-term if possible working as an Actuary. I am friendly, tidy and easy-going as a housemate. I enjoy baking, teaching yoga, spending time with good friends, chilling, exploring and discovering new Melbourne brunch spots.
Hi ! I'm Lucie, I'm French and I've been traveling the world and teaching French for the past 7 years. Melbourne is my last stop before going back to France. I speak French, English and Spanish. I'm very friendly and respectful of the people I live with. I love exploring, going to new places, dancing, going on hikes or just hang out with my friends. I enjoy a clean, peaceful and quiet environment at home and I'm always open to hang out with my roomates or do some activities if they're up for it.
Guten Tag! I'm a very easy going, adaptable and funny german girl. German and funny? Yep pretty rare, I know. I've lived in Australia the last 4 years and I'm not planning to leave anytime soon 😎 I work fulltime Monday to Friday in Southbank for a travel company and I don't mind having a drink or three Friday after work. During the week I prefer to lay low and recharge my batteries as my weekends are usually pretty packed with activities. I'm very passionate about competitive cheerleading for example and it currently takes over most of my weekends. And whenever I'm not busy with cheerleading on the weekend I love to go hiking, go for long walks or chill on the beach. I'm very easy to live with as most of the time I do my own thing but I also don't mind having flatemate dinners, watching movies together or have 90's nights out. I like it clean and tidy, especially in the common areas like bathroom/kitchen. My own room would probably be rather messy with clothes everywhere.🙈 Enough about me now, let's hear about you!
Keeping it short and simple: - I work full time as an electrical engineer - I've been dancing since I was 7. Specialising in rnb and the occasional MJ hip thrust - I love to cook. I love to meal prep and get people to love my food. You honestly have no option but to love my food. - I enjoy staying active; gym, hikes, long romantic walks on the way home intoxicated. - I like to keep my mess to a minimum. If you'd like to know more feel free to hit us up. Peace my peeps
