The house has approximately 9 acres of land. It has a creek and large pond as well as paddocks if you have a horse and your more than welcome to agist it with you. You have the option to create your own veggie patch as well as making the most of the outdoor space available. There is also under cover parking available. It is fully furnished and you have your own private room as well as access to the whole house and facilities as well as storage. The house has quite a large open living area as well as decking area with a BBQ. If you want to agist your horse, this will be extra on top of rent. The facilities for horses is one large shared paddock (5acres) as well as 1 single day paddock (pictured). Looking for someone easy going that is neat, tidy, clean and quiet that likes dogs and horses. This house is not for parties and respecting everyones space is a must. It is located really close to Tewantin (12 minutes) so you will need your own transport. Driving into Noosa and the beach takes 15-20mins max. Bills on top of rent are just internet and electricity.
My cottage is in a delightful rural location however only 5km from Gympie's main street. The QR train station is 1km from home, the Victory General Store & The Victory Pub and bottle shop are both only 2km from home. Located at the top of my paddock the cottage gets a nice breeze but for those hot summer days I have a good air-con. NBN wireless provides the internet and it has been pretty good & stable for the past 2 years. I run on tank water which is refreshing and 'soft'. I see my place as a well lived in 'Country Cottage' and myself well I am sufficiently tidy, a good country cook and i enjoy good conversation. I am also respectful of my flatmates space and needs.
I’m currently looking for share accomodation for myself and my 12yo son who I have shared care of, week on week off. He attends Sunshine Beach. rental accomodation is expensive On the Sunshine Coast, which is why I am looking to share. I would need two bedrooms. One for me, and one for my son on a fortnightly basis, and are prepared to pay a larger portion of rent, rather then half. I also have two inside only cats. I love dogs as well, cats are just a little more portable. I an artist, and are also currently studying full time to enter into a new industry, as I am no longer able to work in a position that requires manual labour. I had breast cancer 2 years ago, and treatment has left me with diminished physical capacity. Consequently, having had cancer, my focus is on taking the best possible care of myself, and spending time with my son. I have a furniture, and white goods. I look forward to hearing from you
Surrounded by bush in a friendly neighbourhood, right beside the lake and the Noosa River, this small but comfortable home is where I have studied and lived for the past 16 years. I try to keep a minimalist open plan feel, with a welcoming kitchen. Solar power, air conditioning, outdoor area amongst gardens and good internet are among other pluses, as are the lovely bush and lake walks that start at the front gate. Smoking is allowed outside, but not inside, and while I love animals I am not accepting pets out of respect for my cat...plus the property is largely un-fenced. This house is quiet and relaxed but not far from town with possible parking on the front lawn. Your room has built in wardrobe, large window, ceiling fan and is close to the spacious bathroom. We have good internet but no television connection because, well, I just don't like it enough to be bothered :-) My son lives at the back of the property so it is just myself in the house, but we share the bathroom, which is kept very clean. I love to keep the place tidy as I feel better and think more clearly in uncluttered surroundings (heading back to uni end of Feb) There will be construction going on out in the backyard with landscaping and such, but this will not impact you greatly as a flatmate.
I'm a dual US-Aussie citizen, grown up in Texas my whole life, and just moved to the area a few days ago. I'm staying with some family friends for my first few weeks as I look for a longer term place to live. I'm easy going, social, clean, organized, and could pretty much make friends with a rock. I love spending time in the water and outdoors, traveling, learning new skills, good beers, wine, and cocktails, and I can cook and make a solid cocktail myself. I'm an open book, so feel free to ask me anything and everything
Hi I’m Carly and I’m from Wilmington, North Carolina. I love the ocean and would like to get better at surfing. I also enjoy just hanging out and enjoying a beer. I got a work holiday visa so I will also be looking for a job as soon as I get to Australia, but first I’ll be going to a wedding in Sydney. I’m really excited to go to Australia
We are two Canadians here on working holidays, looking for a place to stay while we get jobs. We are 20 but very mature for our age. We are laid back, don’t drink, smoke or party. We enjoy cooking and spending times outdoors. We are very eco concious and love animals. We are in Noosa to get in lots of surfing and take in the beautiful area. We like to keep to ourselves and are tidy. We are looking for a room to rent for 2 people at an affordable price. We have money saved up to afford rent for a couple months so at this point unemployed but actively looking for work just need a home base to start.
It's a spacious living - Huge backyard and a treehouse for adults built into a mango tree. A couple other fruit trees nearby the house. The house has 3 rooms and an open living area with a fireplace. Currently furnished to an extent (while my friend/ other roommate is occupying). The backyard has a huge flat area to enjoy, and a flying fox to setup. It's only 15min drive to Noosa, and just up the road, a lake. Perfect place for those wanting to enjoy the beach, but also have a secluded place to themselves where they can enjoy peace and quiet.
