Hey! I'm moving to Sydney in July as an exchange student from the UK and I'm looking for somewhere to live for the semester 2 period (July-Nov). I'll be studying psychology at UNSW so I'm hoping to find accommodation with other students or young people around that area that's in walking distance. I would be looking for a private room that is already furnished. I'm a 21-year-old female from the UK, I'm very sociable and hope to make some really good friendships while I'm living in Sydney. I've been living in student houses for the past 2 years so I'm used to living with big groups of people and understand the responsibilities of sharing a house together (i.e I clean up after myself, don't avoid taking the bins out, respect others privacy etc.) Hoping to find flatmates who are fun and sociable and wouldn't mind showing me around Sydney and helping me settle in for my first few months.
Hey guys. I'm Sarah from China. Came to Sydney almost one month. And I very enjoy Sydney life. I'm a positive and outging, funny girl. I like cooking, reading. Want to improve English. So hope I can meet funny guys. Let me have fun together.
Hey friends!! I'm a friendly Canadian who's currently living in Bondi Beach! I've been here for about a year and a half now and I think I'm ready to start a new chapter in Sydney. I currently work at a fun restaurant in Bondi, and study near Central Station. I'm super bubbly, sarcastic & very kind. If I'm not working or studying, I love to go to gigs, get some good food and polish off a few too many glasses of wine. I'm super sociable so I'm looking to live with people I can become good friends with, not just housemates! That being said, I do love having some alone time, and totally respect yours! I've lived in a share house for the last few years so I'm quite tidy & respectful! My friend Jared (fellow Melbournian) and I are looking to start a team up. We're happy with innerwest all the way to eastern subs! Let me know if you're interested in joining! Squid x
The flat is super cozy and clean, located right on the boarder of Coogee and Randwick. I am friendly, clean and very respectful of others. With uni work I expect that I will spend a signifiant amount of time on campus. I enjoy quiet nights at home and nights out with friends but don't bring the party home. I've lived in a few countries throughout my life and I'm excited to see what Australia has to offer!

28 years old from Dublin, Ireland. Permanent Australian resident as of April 2017 and don't plan on leaving any time soon :) I work full time as a sales manager for an insurance company in the CBD working Mon-Fri and the odd Saturday. For a guy I would say I'm very very clean and tidy, respectful towards others, enjoy a good laugh, good company and I am easy to get on with. On the weekends like anyone with a tough job I like to unwind, chill out and have a couple of sociable drinks with friends. Interests include football (Man United) music and sneakers lol. Looking for something long term in the Randwick area. Thanks
This is a beautiful art deco apartment with high ceilings and stained glass windows, lots of charm! The apartment is in a wonderful location, just a short walk to Coogee beach, transport and the spot at Randwick. This is the perfect location for those that love coastal living as well as having easy access to the city. The room for rent is light and airy and fully furnished.
Hi guys! Our place is an art deco semi-style apartment situated in Randwick, between the racecourse and centennial park. While it says in the options that our place is a "duplex/apartment", it's actually more like a house, because it is enormous! It has polished wooden floorboards, 12ft high ceilings, and plenty of space so we never feel on top of each other. The house is fully furnished however your bedroom is unfurnished. There are two separate lounges which are huge, we've converted one into a dining room. We have a separate sunroom off the kitchen which over-looks the little green backyard, which is nice with a morning coffee. The bathroom has a shower and separate decent sized bath. There's plenty of hot water avail, super high ceiling and a great reverb for all you bathroom singers out there... :)) Centennial Park is a 2min walk, the racecourse is 2 min walk the other way, randwick shopping centers 2min drive, or 2 stops past us on the bus. Coogee beach - our local, is only 5min drive down the road. We spend so much time there in summer! Fish, chips, a beer and a pack of cards on the grass is our idea of a perfect midweek escape in daylight savings! Buses to Coogee, City or Bondi Junction are all on surrounding corners. Our street is very quiet, and while the street parking is timed, it really only seems to be patrolled when races are on. There's also quite a few all day areas too that we can point out. Clean house is important, we don't really care how it happens either. We generally do it ourselves, and while a cleaning roster sounds a bit naff, it really seems to work in a share house, but we are completely open to suggestions as to what you think or find works best... Your room is hands down the best one in the house. It's at the front with fantastic light, and has huge built in storage. The room is unfurnished, but our current flatmate has a king size bed, 2 bedsides, 2 bookcases, additional side/coffee table and still plenty of space, and that's just the bedroom. Off the bedroom is an adjoining sunroom. It is big enough for a private lounge area, yoga room or office space. Current flattie easily fits a desk, pull out sofa bed and yoga mat. Utilities are additional and split when they arrive and we rotate with purchasing of things like loo roll, cleaning products etc.
We are a young outgoing couple relatively new to Sydney looking to live in modern accommodation on a long term basis with friendly outgoing flatmates. Currently renting a very very small room in waterloo which really doesn't suit our needs, we are looking to move into somewhere more habitable, modern, clean and spacious with good sociable people as soon as possible as we have already given notice. Considering we are looking for long term stay, we will not be considering short term accommodation, shared rooms or overcrowded places. Dave is Irish and Andora is Australian. We both work full time and enjoy getting out at weekends to enjoy what the city and surrounding areas have to offer. We are active, like to interact with housemates and happy to put in a cleaning shift when expected.
Available 18th June! 1 large FULLY FURNISHED room in a sunny 2 bedroom apartment in Randwick. I (Jade) am moving to New Zealand for around 12 months and am looking for an amazing and trustworthy housemate to rent my room. Everything is provided including linen, bedding, towels, storage for your clothes. All you need to bring is your belongings and some soap! . If you would rather bring your own bed, please just let me know. My mattress is a pillow top and is a bit fancy. I’ve always used a mattress protector and it’s in good condition. Looking for a professional housemate, (sorry no students but postgrads/postdocs considered). I ride to work in the city and there are bike racks in the building, along with lock up storage. The room is a fairly decent size with built-in double wardrobe, spacious living area, balcony, internal laundry, bath and separate shower. About your new housemate: I'm Megan, 27, been in Sydney 4 years, originally from the UK. I work in Events, down in Pyrmont. I like to think I friendly, sociable and considerate. I spend a few nights a week at my boyfriend's house and he stays one or two nights a week. The rest of the time, I'm down the beach, occasionally at the gym or just on the sofa watching trashy Netflix with a glass of red. About you: Cheerful, trustworthy, good employment, girl (no couples, sorry), willing to help clean on a weekly/fortnightly basis, enjoys the Eastern suburbs, no loud parties please, taco Tuesday is recommended but not enforced:) The only house rules are: 1. Help with the cleaning 2. Heads up if bringing over guests 3. Be respectful of other's space The room is available on 18 June 2017, we really need someone who can move in on or pay rent from this day. Rent options for the room: 1. $290 unfurnished no car space 2. $300 unfurnished with carspace 3. $305 furnished no car space 4. $315 furnished with car space Bond is 4 weeks rent, and will be refunded at end of tenancy And 2 week's rent in advance Bills are split each month, Unlimited NBN WiFi is about $30 each a month, and the electricity bill is around $30-50 each a month depending on how often you wish to run your heater and lights :) Please give me a buzz with any questions you might have. We look Forward to meeting you! - Jade
