Hello! I am moving from Brisbane at the end of January for work as a designer in Darwin City and am after a furnished room within a share house. I am interested in most things artsy, enjoy photography and love to travel and explore new places. I am hoping to find a share house with like minded people who perhaps want to explore Darwin together or like to be social every now and again. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others. Nonsmoker and no pets of my own but not adverse to there being animals. I have a car and would prefer some type of off street parking but I am flexible. Ideally I would like bills included (including internet) however, if not possible I would like to get a general idea of how much bills will be each quarter. If you have a place available for around the time I move to Darwin and think we could get along then please feel free to contact me. I will be in Darwin from the 29th of January to be able to view places and meet in person.
Hi there, we're Monica and Matt. We've just moved across from WA for work, and we're looking for a place in the Rapid Creek/Nightcliff area (as Perth kids, being close to the beach is pretty important to us). We are early 30s, clean and considerate housemates, enjoy cook-ups with friends, baking sourdough, hiking/camping/fishing/ultimate frisbee - generally anything outdoors really. Monica works at the hospital with a shift-work roster, but she's a pretty good sleeper and we're happy to share a place so long as your life doesn't revolve around tap dancing, pogo stick or DnB.
Hi my name is Daisy 🌼 I’m a part time Honours student who works for the uni part time also. I’m studying environmental science, and love the great outdoors, and a healthy, active lifestyle. I enjoy socialising and fitness after work, however not partying. I’m a clean, responsible, considerate, easy going housemate who will enjoy a casual wine from time to time to debrief the day. Please contact me if you’d like to catch up and chat accomodation 😉
Hi! I've recently moved to Darwin from Broken Hill for a new job, I'm a dietitian. I'm looking to live with 2-3 housemates in Rapid Creek or Nightcliff. I'm clean, tidy, happy to share week night dinners and weekend adventures without living in eachothers pockets. My 9 year old dog Rome (border collie x red) is a very lovable outside dog.
Room available in spacious tropical dream home in Rapid Creek! Our house is a hidden gem, with amazing windows throughout. We have bifold doors/windows all around our downstairs areas that open up to the courtyard and a vine wall that gives all views spectacular greenery. We have two main living spaces downstairs, a seperate laundry, sunny courtyard and plunge pool, and three bedrooms upstairs. Amazing location just two streets back from the beach - very short walk to the Nightcliff Esplanade, pool and cafes...and the pizza truck on the foreshore! The property is also very secure. Five mins aways from the Nightcliff IGA and Woolies. The bedroom we are looking to fill is beautifully light, with its own a/c unit, built-in robes and a desk, and a modern bathroom just next door shared with one other housemate. The room is unfurnished but all it will really need is a bed - the rest of the house is set up and ready to go. We have a lovely modern kitchen, with a dining table that seats 8, and a daybed and couch set up in the other living area. There are fans and air-conditioning throughout. We have a cat, Tula, at the moment, though she is just on loan! She is great company. Internet is about $18 each per month, and we also get a cleaner in fortnightly, which is about $37 each per fortnight. Gas/water/elec is variable, and split three ways.
Hello! My name is Eleanor and I'm looking forward to moving to Darwin at the end of January. I will be working full time as a doctor at the hospital for six months and am hoping to find a share house to call home. I am very well accustomed to share house living and have always had great relationships with my housemates. I would always hope to be good friends with anyone I lived with and to contribute to any house I join in a positive way! I love spending time with housemates, sharing delicious dinners and chatting over glasses of wine, but am also very easygoing and self-sufficient. I'm very clean and tidy and I love to cook! I also love hiking and the great outdoors and am looking forward to the chance to explore the beautiful national parks around Darwin.
Hey guys! I'm Peter! I've just moved up from Adelaide to the amazing NT! I've visited before a few times, but I decided that I just couldn't get enough of the place and so I've accepted a 12 month contract and moved up here! I know, crazy, right!? I'm an actor/comedian, but I work primarily with sick kids in hospital and in communities. So it's a bit of an interesting job.. I've been doing that for the last 6 years or so. I've lived in several different share houses over the years, and I'm happy to send through references etc. if you'd like that too. I'm a fairly clean person, and I like to stay organised as much as I can, but I won't faint if someone left the sugar out or something.. Well.. there was this one time.. ha! Anyway.. I can be a fairly social kind of person, and enjoy good food, meeting people and having a beer with friends. That said, I also love chilling out and keeping to myself at times, I feel like you need to strike that balance a bit. I'm looking for somewhere that is relaxed and fun to live, I don't need huge amounts of space, or anything too fancy, but a nice roof over my head and some cool people to occasionally hang out with woyuld be the best! If you'd like to know anything else, just let me know! Cheers guys, Peter
Hi! I'm a social worker moving up from Melbourne in late January. I have signed a 2 year contract and will be working between the hospital and the city. I've been in share houses for a number of years now and feel like I'm a good balance of fun and respectful. I love having a wine with housemates and chatting about the day but am also respectful of people's space (and my own!). As I am new to Darwin, I'll be spending a lot of time exploring, so am happy for either another newbie to explore with or a seasoned pro who can advise on all the best places to check out. I am also looking for a fully-furnished room/house. Feel free to get in touch - I arrive in Darwin next week, however won't be needing a place until mid-Feb.

Hey! I'm a happy and upbeat person looking for an easy going crew to call home. I enjoy hiking, travelling, cooking, music and live gigs, playing average guitar and doing all kinds of fun things with my dog Dré... he's a 7 year old chocolate lab and arguably a better flatmate than me (if you count cuddles and a special welcome home everyday). References of good boy behaviour (and general awesomeness) are available from current flat mates. Oh yea and they will say I'm cool too :p Require Furnished. Lastly, I work as an IT Vendor Manager.
Situated on Aralia Street, this secure 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Apartment is only a less than 5 minute walk to the Nightcliff Foreshore and Swimming Pool. Finigan's Gourmet Fish n Chips is located across the road along with Aralia St Supermarket, Number 4 Bus Stops are a short distance going to and from Darwin/Casuarina. If you plan on meeting Friends at the popular Beachfront Hotel, it's only a 10 minute walk around the corner ready to quench your thirst. The apartment is amongst a group of 12, the neighbours are friendly and mostly quiet although it does get quite relaxing on the balcony after a long day/week at work - in which I don't party here, but I don't mind the odd few drinks on the Balcony on Fridays/weekends. The room has a king ensemble bed, air con, BIR, main bathroom (as I have ensuite) and ceiling fan. Rent includes, electricity, wi-fi, Netflix and Fetch Box. There is 1 under cover car park available (until I sort my car out - no hurry) as well as a storage shed located near car park. If you're keen on viewing the room, please feel free to get in touch as I am home after 5pm and home all weekend all day.

Hi there! Originally from Melbourne, I currently work at the hospital as a Prosthetist/Orthotist (I make artificial limbs and splints). I live in Parap but am considering relocating closer to work in February. I consider myself clean, polite and easy to get along with. Not much of a drinker but always up for some chit chat over a cuppa. I don't mind a bit of cooking and love to share - baking sourdough and Vietnamese food are my strengths! My passions outside of work are music, hiking and recreational sports. I play a handful of instruments but am very mindful and respectful when others are home. Look forward to meeting you!
We are two friends who have just completed our university degrees of teaching and occupational therapy. We are planning on moving from Geelong, to Darwin for work. We are easy going, sociable girls who enjoy some drinks on the weekend, sport and the outdoors. We are neat and respectful of others and would love to find a friendly home.
Hello! I'm currently working as a nurse at the hospital. I'm looking for a place to call home that has a nice outdoor area and a good vibe with 3-5 housemates. I'm easy going and very friendly, I love a good chat and the evening/weekend bev. I like to keep things clean and tidy. I live a pretty busy, active, outdoorsy lifestyle so I'm looking for somewhere nice to come home and relax with some fun people. Ideally, I would love ocean view for some verandah storm watching in the wet. I love the idea of "family meals" and if there was to be a dog as a housemate, it would be my dream come true! Sorry, Nightcliff or Rapid Creek area only. **Currently out of Darwin, will be looking again after Dec 12**
I am a married, working on a long term contract in Darwin while my wife continues to live and work in Brisbane. I am health conscious, a reasonable cook, physically active and fully fit, but do enjoy an occasional beer or wine. I am self-sufficient, helpful, well organised, like to keep things tidy, am a reasonable handyman, and use either a bicycle or my motorbike for transport. Happy to meet prospective housemates to establish the likelihood of compatibility.
