Hi there! My partner and I are looking for our new home for 2025 in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. ABOUT US: We are a South African / Australian couple - I'm from the Sunshine Coast but have lived in Sydney while doing my degree at USYD, and my partner is from the souther suburbs of Cape Town, born and raised in the ocean (he's an insane surfer, loves spear fishing, free diving etc). We've been travelling full time for almost 2 years (Indonesia, outback Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Mozambique, Madagascar, Swaziland, Uganda, Rwanda), and now it's time to return back home so I can continue on with my university degree. My partner will be here on his WHV, working full time. WHAT WE WANT: We are looking for a room in a sharehouse, flatmates to team up with, or a studio. We'd like to create a homely space in our share house, both physically and with regard to sharehouse culture. Clear communication, accountability, and respect for shared spaces are important to us. We aren't partiers, but would love for our home to be a place where we can invite our friends in for a cup of tea or a shared meal.
