A *massive* sunshine filled room is available in a perfect 2-bedroom Ripponlea house. The room will be unfurnished but has a big built-in-robe and the house has almost everything else you could need to move right in. (Bonus points if you come with a washing machine or a television). The room measures 4.2m x 3.6m and can fit a queen bed and a sofa and a chest of drawers and anything else your heart desires. The house has floorboards throughout, one bathroom, a laundry, and super good heating. The backyard is big and great for hosting in, and there's plans for a bbq in the very near future. Potential for off-street parking if needed, although there's also always parking on the street, and there's a back shed to store a bike. The house is less than a 2 minute walk to Ripponlea station (15 minutes to flinders) or an 8 minute walk from the 67 tram.
My Name is Olivia I’m a 25 year old female originally from New Zealand been in melbourne for 3 years now and Absolutely love it. I'm looking to team up with one or two people to sign a lease together for 12 months or longer if we happen to love the place. I have a bubbly and energetic personality, I work full time in the city Monday to Friday. I like to keep things clean and tidy. I currently have all furniture for a house / apartment other than a washing machine / dryer or a dining table. I enjoy nights out but am also down for chilled nights in watching Netflix and eating junk food.

Hi! I’m Jubin, 29, single, easy going, very relaxed, tidy and clean and an IT professional working full-time for a reputed tech firm in CBD. I’m not a party person at home but do love a drink and socializing occasionally. I'd prefer to be with housemates who normally wouldn't isolate themselves and would treat fellow housemates as good friends/family. I love reading books. I always prefer clean environments maintaining it like that at the wherever I stay. I'm looking for my next place to stay for at least a year, or maybe more. Since I commute to CBD for work on a daily basis , I prefer places with close proximity to public transport. My furniture includes a Computer work desk (for my work station because at times I work from home) and a bookshelf for storing and reading work-related documents.
ABOUT ME: I'm introverted and like me time but I'm also a good conversationalist and I like discussing heavy, real stuff. I spend a lot of time writing and planning creative endeavours when I'm not working or studying and I am always up for a quick one at the pub. I work early and long hours so I keep fairly quiet throughout the week. I consider my home a calm and relaxing sanctuary so I never bring the party home or make noise late at night. I'm considerate and clean and would like to live with someone the same. WHAT IM LOOKING FOR: I would like to get along and be friends with my housemates but it's important to lead a busy lifestyle and respect privacy and sleeping times etc. I would prefer mature minded females who are interested in the world and whats going on in society. I'd like to be able to have chats and the occasional cooked meal together as well as a drink now and then. I'm considerate and clean and would like to live with people the same. Ideally I want a house as I'd like to have space in the yard and maybe a garage. I'm wanting to create a space thats calm and relaxed with nice things around. I've always lived in very loud and involved households so if your interests match with mine, send me a message and we can get things moving.
Work full time in balaclava and currently living in south Yarra by myself! Looking to move to a bigger place within the area to either start up a shared house with 1/2 others or move into an already established share house. I am quite flexible but need a few things, I am a clean person and need the place to have a lot of natural light for my happiness or for my beautiful plants! I also would like a nice kitchen for all my yummy cooking I do. I work full time Tuesday to Saturday but finish very late so I usually just eat and chill when I come home. I’m very outgoing though and love my movie nights too. I enjoy travelling around on the weekends and having some nice cognac. I’m usually out of the house either by the beach or mediatating somewhere 😂 I hope to find the perfect humble little home.

Come and join us at our place that we like to call home :) We have a fantastic two-storey townhouse in our leafy street in Ripponlea. Ripponlea is right in between Elsternwick, Balaclava, Elwood and St Kilda….you could call it a hidden gem! The room available is a large, sunny bedroom with a massive built-in robe, as well as air con/heating in your room and an ensuite bathroom. Amazing! The house itself has everything you need: heating, air con, dishwasher, study, large lounge/dining area and a courtyard for entertaining (with BBQ). There is also a car space in the driveway and/or you can get a parking permit for the street. Please note that we have two housemates about to leave this house and the car space in the driveway will only become available once one of those housemates moves out (should be in the next month or two). It’s a great location too – just 5 mins walk from Ripponlea station, 3 mins walk from local shopping strip with cafes, restaurant, bakery, supermarket, pharmacy etc. and 5 mins drive to Elwood beach. Rent is $250 per week ($1083 per calendar month). Bills are an additional cost and we divide this cost equally when bills arrive. You would also be required to pay a bond of $1092 and go on the lease. Please note that you would need to be approved by the landlord before you can move in. We are looking for someone who’s keen to stay long term and who’s working full time. Unfortunately, we cannot accept couples (sorry, landlord’s request!) We’re ideally looking for someone who is easygoing, considerate, clean….and fun of course! Please note that I have a gorgeous, small rescue dog named Billie (I’ve even included a photo of her!). She is a staffy cross terrier - so you will need to be a dog person :) I take all responsibility for feeding and looking after Billie. But unfortunately we can’t have any more pets, sorry. The room will be available on May 1st. Please send me a private message telling me a little bit about yourself if you’re interested. Thanks, Michelle.

The apartment is fully furnished with dishwasher, washing machine, bbq, microwave, aircon (in the living room), smart TV (with Foxtel and Nextflix in the living room) and other appliances. It's a ground floor apartment with great light throughout the day. It's quite cool during summer and almost to the warm side during winter. The bathroom is shared and brand new and you have the option of a shower or a bath. There's a long deck outside the house with some outside furniture for the morning sun and lots of space for your flower pots if you're into gardening. Your room is 3m50cm X 2m85cm. It has blinds and a big wardrobe with clothes rail in the bottom doors (please refer to the photos). The room is not furnished and that's the only thing you need to do to make yourself at home. $280 per week covers the rent, Netflix, cleaning products and common use items. I'll be responsible for it. Extra bills will be internet ($40 each per month), gas (about $25 each per month) and electricity (about $90 each per month during winter). The apartment is in the lovely Ripponlea neighbourhood, very close to Brighton Road and Glen Eira Road shops. There's a Coles Express just 5 min from the apartment for any last minute needs. Tram 67 to the city is 3min walk and Ripponlea Station 7min walk. We are also 8min walk to Elsternwick Station and Glen Huntly Road with all the shops and services you might need. It's also a 20-minute walk to Elwood beach! There's no parking available in the building but the street is quite safe and there's no time restrictions if you need to leave your car at the front. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet and I've never had an issue with noise or any disrespectful attitude from the neighbours.
Brad and I are both creatives, he plays guitar and writes, and I like to paint and draw (among other things)! We each work a couple of jobs but if we're not working we'll be out at a gig or the movies. If we're at home we'll be chilling, cooking & having a couple beers at home with housemates! We're very friendly, easy-going people. We're clean and considerate and all that great stuff! We've done a fair bit of globe-trotting the past couple of years so we're enjoying staying put for a while. Drop us a message if you feel we'll be a good fit! We look forward to hearing from you. Nav & Brad
Hi! We’re Rodrigo (32) and Martina (24) currently living in Melbourne with a working holiday visa. We’re from Argentina and have been living in Sydney for 1 year, now we decided to try another city in this amazing country. Currently I'm working as a barista and Martina as a nanny. We like to go out to excercise, maybe have dinner and on free mornings grab a coffee. We’re clean, tidy and looking for a quiet place to call home and to share it with nice flatmates.
Hey! I'm Bronte, 23, I've been living in melb for a few months now in south east suburbs but our lease is ending early 😭 I'm pretty chill, like to cook and i clean up my mess, l make a mean lasagne and am a sucker for a good garlic bread. Play footy, drink wine and watch netflix in my spare time. supposed to be studying online with Swinburne but my dedication is questionable. Up for chills and shared meals but also good with the personal space. Needing a place latest 16th April.
I’m basically that annoyingly optimistic person who just loves hearing about everyone else’s stories. Will gasp and laugh at all the right moments while listening to such stories. I’m a nurse so I have a really weird and sarcastic sense of humor - sorry! Will also attend to any any wounds and will give questionable medical advice for colds. I’m pretty clean. Although from time to time my bedroom floor has been known to house some clothes here and there - trust me, this annoys me more than it does you. Also, I can’t handle dirty dishes. That’s Just a thing of mine. Also my boyfriend will come and stay from time to time 😊
Hi ! I’m 24 Japanese male student part time studying travel & part time working at night in hospitality. I am cheerful yet tidy and enjoy me time spending my dayoff on cycling, binging Netflix, cooking, drinking learning languages and etc.. looking for a place that is clean and not a weekend party venue and looking for sharemates who can enjoy occasional drink, movie, food, beach or whatever we want if the schedule is matched!
Hi! I am Susana, I am from Chile and I am currently living in Melbourne. I consider myself a very easy going person, sociable and clean. I really enjoy watching movies , traveling and reading. I speak Spanish and English so if you are interested in learning Spanish I can help you with that. I am expecting to find a nice place with nice people who enjoy to spend time with others and by themselves. Gracias!
I am down to Earth, sweet, I pay my rent on time, I am quiet, I am not fussy with accomodation, I don't require much, I make a good salary so money isn't at all an issue, I have good people skills, I tend to keep my opinions to myself, I am easy going and relaxed, I am very neat and tidy and I tend to keep my personal life to myself. And if you are so inclined and it is right, we can become great friends because I am a really cool girl and fun to be with :)
Hi there! I'm Ian, 25 year-old guy originally from Perth. Been living in Melbourne since 2016, although have spent most of the last 12 months on secondment in New Zealand. I work as a consultant in the city, mostly 9-5 Monday to Fridays, (although sometimes earlier, sometimes later, and sometimes weekends!) In my spare time, I generally like to hang out with mates, go for dinner/drinks out, head up the mountains for skiing, head to the footy, travel around, or just get out and about in Melbourne. At home I like to chill out, watch TV/netflix, am more than happy to hang out with flatmates over dinner, drinks, or a game. Equally happy to respect you and your space too! I've lived in flatshares for the past 2.5 years so know the drill. I'm a friendly, easy-going guy, clean and tidy, and respectful. Happy to hang out, but also let us all each do our own thing.
