Im pretty easy going and down to earth, very work and study orientated and am pretty mature for my age. I come from New Zealand and moved out of home when I moved here just after I turned 16 and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I know I'm a bit young but I'm desperately in need for a new place to live in as I have to move out of the current house I'm in by March/April. Im also transgender just thought I'd put that out there because I know some people may have a problem with that. I'm very tidy and clean and am very good at cooking (perks of growing up with a chef for a step mum). I'm also about to study exercise and sports science full time at uni and I work part time at grilld (usually nights). My hobbies include going to the beach, bike riding, fishing, anything water related, writing, playing guitar and dance. I also like having my own space but can also be very social and im alway down to chat and chill out. I also turn 18 in may if that helps.
I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others. I am looking for somone to share with who cares about social justice, the arts and environment.
Hi! I'm Ashleigh, I'm from England and currently on a working holiday visa. I'm in Tassie at the moment finishing farm work and will be arriving back in Melbourne around the 5th of February and will be looking to move in pretty much straight away. I'm looking for a place either until the 18th of March (as I'm off travelling for a month) or longer term as I plan to come back and stick around in Melbourne for a while after my travels! I'm looking for a private room in a place with friendly housemates. I'm pretty quiet at home and like my own space but also like to spend some time watching tv or eating together. I've been living in a hostel for the past 3 months so I'm used to sharing and tidying up after myself. I'm looking for somewhere close to public transport (preferably a train station) and ideally with some shops and cafes nearby or within easy reach. A yoga studio close by would also be perfect!
Hello good peeps, I am a laid back accounting/business management professional of 31years. I am local to the SE suburbs and am looking for somewhere to replace my previous awesome abode in Caulfield North. I work 9-5, like things relatively tidy and am happy to work into a whatever chores schedule is the go. Interests include economics/politics/business (boring eyy?) and also keeping fit, coffee, getting out for a few drinks on the we and a couple crappy TV shows. All up, I am looking for somewhere easy going and friendly where I can basically mostly do my thing but also have some social atmosphere at home. Cheers big ears
I've been living in Melbourne for over 1.5 year. Working part-time and doing an MBA. Easy going, clean that enjoy some drinks.
Hello potential future flat-mate[s], my name's Aavon, initially from Sri Lanka and I moved to Australia a little over three months ago. Prior to that I've spent the past five years in Dubai working for the Volvo Car Company. I'm now a qualified technician and operations coordinator working in Glen Huntley. My cousins have accommodated me so far but I'm looking for the right place and people to start anew. I enjoy the outdoors, travelling, animals, rock climbing, music, impromptu dancing, reading and living in the moment. I'm neat, can cook, looking to make friends and am looking forward to something new. Cheers!

Looking for a place inner South/South East by the 28th of January (or as close too). Look forwards to hearing from you! Snippet : Young male professional looking to move to a location in the inner-south/south-east of Melbourne to be closer to work (Brighton), in an unfurnished room from early January. Hey there, so you are probably wondering what makes me great to live with. Well, thankfully, there is an obligatory section for such a response! I am an energetic and active person, who likes to exercise and get out socially. I am respectful and clean housemate who has been sharing accommodation for the last 5 years in Melbourne, and enjoy sharing my hobbies and experiences, whist appreciating the need for space and downtime. During the week, I am a busy professional (Secondary Teacher) and spend my evenings training for upcoming triathlons and seeing friends. The weekend is much the same, although I do like to go bush-walking and travel around. Hobbies and interests include, music (playing guitar), seeing theater and gigs, watching footy/cricket, I also spend time reading and writing. I am looking for a place until mid 2017 (min 6 months) with the potential for longer pending my work. I would prefer a room with some sun, and a house with modern appliances (I do like to cook ) and a location near to some cafes/shops. I also have a car - so would need a place to park. My ideal housemate(s) would be 25-35, male or female, work full time, have some hobbies and interests to share, enjoy socialising on occasion - and in general just enjoy life and having a good time. If you think this fits you, or vice versa let me know.
Hi Folks, my name is Maria and I'm 32 years old. I'm a professional working as a social worker and an easy going person to live with. Looking for somewhere I can call home and ideally I would like to share with people who are clean and tidy. Like to socialise at weekends and chill on others. Generally like to keep fit and I'm a fan of great food. I'm friendly, clean and easy to get along with.
I'm a tidy person who enjoys listening to music, watching to movies, biking and learning new stuff. I moved to Melbourne as part of a lifetime experience. Not a party guy but Like it from time to time, instead I like a beer or a glass of wine in home or a restaurant or pub. Originally, I'm an Architect but I'm working in hospitality as part of my overseas experience. Love nature and I'm willing to meet local and foreign people like me.
Hi there! One Aussie, one Brit, one hilarious combo. We foster kitties sometimes, so a furfriendly household would be ideal! Retail and hospitality are our game and we love a good bargain at Aldi. Looking for easy going, LGBT friendly folks to share a home with.
Hey All! I'm a chilled 24 year old student that also works 2 part time jobs. I have lived out of home from 17 so I know very well how to clean up after myself and take the rubbish out and all that 😄 I am mostly looking for people to team up with to look for a house (probably 2-3 others) in the areas stated above but not excluded to. Looking for some cool cats that are also chilled and don't mind if I bring some friends around occasionally. Honestly I do like to party and will stumble in the door from revs at midday. As long as you don't judge me all good. Even better if you're with me 😆 NOTE: ONLY LOOKING FOR HOUSES WITH YARDS, NO UNITS (cause I'm over them and need an entertaining area) What I offer: 1: All the free out of date alcohol your heart desires (one of my jobs is at a bottle store) 2. A fridge constantly stocked with healthy treats (I love to make these) 3. Banter for days 4. A rad group of friends im sure you'd love 5. so much love for any of your pets if you have any (im an animal lover) Looking forward to hearing of anyone that thinks we will get along :)
I am 26 years old, originally from Adelaide, but I was living in Melbourne for several years, up until the start of 2016, at which point I spent 10 months travelling around South East Asia and India. I am currently back living in Adelaide, but moving to Melbourne once again, to commence professional, full-time work in my field of product design. I enjoy music; listening to it as well as playing a range of instruments (mostly guitar – but don’t worry, I am very considerate of noise levels in a share house!) and I regularly go out to see live bands. My other passion (and profession) is design and I often attend the many design/art related events, openings and exhibitions that Melbourne constantly has to offer. Other than that, I love all things food and coffee related and will usually jump at any chance to try out a new café or restaurant (or bar! although in that case, “food and coffee” will be substituted for “beer and/or wine”). I’m quite partial to getting out in that rare and elusive bit of Melbourne sun, for a walk or bike ride on the weekends and when I’m at home, I enjoy a good movie, documentary or Netflix/tv show binge. As a housemate, I am very easy to live with. I will be working full-time hours, so I will generally only be home in the evenings and weekends, I am neat and tidy, sociable but also considerate of other peoples’ space and belongings (you won’t even have to label your food in the fridge!), happy to do my bit when it comes to housekeeping and always pay rent and any bills on time. I have an extensive history of living in share houses, both in Adelaide and Melbourne and I can provide references from a previous private rental agency or past housemate/landlord if required. If you think I could be your future housemate, I would ideally be looking for a move-in date around the 25th of January (I begin work on the 30th January), although I can be flexible if it’s a matter of a few days either way. Unfortunately, as I am currently in Adelaide, it is unlikely that we will be able to meet in person before I get to Melbourne (and hopefully by then I have secured a place to live – fingers crossed!), however, I am more than happy to have a chat on the phone or even arrange a Skype call if you would like to talk in a somewhat face-to-face manner. Hit me up! Tom

Hi, my name is Few. Im 19 yrs old. Im from Thailand. I'm looking for a share house not far from my campus. Im studying English full-time at RMIT University. Im easy going, friendly, like to travel, do sports, love exercise and I like cooking but maybe I'm not good at cooking for others. I like eating healthy food. Im not drink alcohol and im not smoke. 34 year old english bloke, moving to Melbourne 23rd Jan to start working with a mate of mine. Professional, considerate, clean, really easy-going, I like to think I contribute to my environment whenever I can (my most recent housemates still let me have a key to pretty much come and go as I please!)... All the traits you gain from living in shared houses for nearly 20 years :) Moving to Melbourne to join a friend of mine in expanding his business (long-term) so expecting to work hard during the week and relax a bit during the weekends. Play drums (but won't have a kit with me, so don't panic). Love cooking (especially for other people). Enjoy swimming, cycling, going-on-adventure-ing.
29, young, playful joker full of life and looking for someone similarly minded to live with... very relaxed and casual although i work in the big corporate world i have a knack for being able to switch off... As far as living with me? I'm clean, can cook, pretty well if you ask me! I mostly meal prep for the week but love doing a nice cook up to share with whoever's around. I'm quite social, enjoy entertaining, gym most mornings before work, out and about most weekends, up for shenanigans and whatever else the world wants to throw my way... Cleaning... not my favorite thing to do but always keeping common areas neat and tidy is important, you never know who might pop over!! In my current place we have a cleaner that comes in every two weeks, he's great (young bloke building his empire) I'd like to keep this as it allows more time to be out in the real world rather than cleaning toilets!! I've lived in share houses for a while now with both guys and girls with nothing but success and great friendships coming from it! Really looking forward to meeting you!
Hi my name is Fiona and I am 23 and my friend Nick is 25, we are both from the UK. We are neat people and respect others personal space and belongings. We are looking for a Furnished room to share.
Hi guys! I'm Mel, I'm 28 years old and working full-time in mental health. I am going back to uni next year to do my Masters, so looking for somewhere not too far from public transport. I'm a laid-back, friendly person, and I enjoy living in a harmonious, clean environment. I like all the usual things; live gigs and music, going out, travelling, markets and cider. I enjoy living with a friendly group of people, and socialising with them without treading on their toes. I like to have my own space from time to time, as I'm sure most people do, and I'm not looking for a overly crazy party house. Looking for an unfurnished room. I have some other furniture (lounge, armchair and fridge) so ideally looking for somewhere with some space.
I'm clean, tidy (it's a must), reserved, respectful of people's privacy and house rules, and reliable with payments. But I'm also easygoing, funny and I like socialising.
Hi there! My name is Marissa, Im a 24 year old Canadian gal thats looking for a comfortable clean place to stay in Melbourne. I've been in Melbourne for 4 months and my lease has just come up, I like hiking, avocados and red wine. I work full time and am not home often as I'm always at the beach or on some sort of outdoor adventure :) However, when I am home I think its important to be able to bond with your flatmates. Hi, I am Marli - a laid-back and cheerful traveller from Germany in their mid-twenties, who is on the hunt for a job right now (nearly got one!). I used to live in shared flats in Munich, where I was working in communications and PR, so I don't leave any shit behind me. I love sharing the evenings together while cooking or watching a nice movie! I welcome good conversations but enjoy having time on my own! I am into photography, writing and excercising - so don't mind to gain one of your flatmates as my new sportbuddy! 😜 Shot me a message and we can catch up for a coffee to find out if we have the same taste ;)! Cheers Marli
Looking to team up for a share house with one other person in the Inner-South or South-East Melbourne. I have a full house of furniture (excluding your bedroom) and so you won't need to provide anything. I work full time for a recruitment company, previous psychology graduate who moved to Melbourne at the start of 2016. I'm fairly quiet, very clean, not particularly outgoing and a little nerdy. Ideally I would like a similar person to team up with, male or female.
Hi! My name is Diana, I'm 22 years old girl from Russia. Have been living in Melbourne for more than a year now. I'm currently looking for a good sized private room in Eastern Suburbs. Looking for something for long term (1 year). Happy to pay around $150 per week without bills. I'm getting Master of Marketing and work a couple of jobs at the moment, so have a stable income. I don't spend a lot of time at home as I pretty busy during the week and sometimes have work on the weekends as well. I'm really respectful of others space, always clean after myself and generally keep a positive atmosphere around the house ;) I've got a few things that I can bring to the house including fridge, cutlery, vacuum cleaner, I can also bring some furniture for the living room if needed. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
The apartment seems a little old on the outside but has recently been renovated. Electric stovetop and oven in the kitchen with plenty of storage space. Main areas are cemented with carpet in the bedrooms. The property is across the road from the train station with a 15 minute ride into the city. Trams to the city are approx 200 meters away. Just a couple minutes walk from a little strip of shops which will have everything you need (small supermarket, post office, pharmacy plenty of cafe's and restaurants)
