Hi! I am a study abroad student looking for a place to live for the spring semester. I am originally from Finland but I have been living in the United States for the last four years. I am an easy going, former athlete who can either socialize or keep to myself. I love going out and having a good time as much as I like hanging out with friends, cooking and watching netflix. I am a big fan of sports as well. This will be my first time in Australia but I am excited to see what the Aussies have to offer!
Hi there, My name is Mix, a 20 years old boy. I'm a university student, major in architecture. Anyway, I come to Melbourne for taking an architecture courses during my university summer holiday! As a housemate I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person, who likes to chill out plus I'm tidy, clean, and respectful. One of my hobbies is taking photos. I always be active (running, rugby, cycling), play piano, explore local exhibitions and enjoy a good cafe. I'm also an animal lover, especially dogs, so that would not be a problem at all :) Send me a message if you think we'd get along! Cheers,
Hello! Full time receptionist at a health club in the cbd. Personal hobbies include gym training, outdoors activities (camping, hiking, four-wheel driving, skiing, etc), cooking, all things food, craft beer and coffee! Very down to earth individual who is bordering OCD with cleanliness and takes pride in maintaining my environment. Not much of a party animal these days, although a big fan of the odd dinner party with friends :)
Im 28 years old grew up in Melbourne, but have lived overseas since I was 19, have just returned and im looking to make Melbourne my home again! Im not looking for a party house , but for sure im up for some social beers at home and at the pub, plus I love my sport so always up for going to match’s and would for sure be up for getting involved in things with the house, I also like going to the gym a couple of times a week. My main job has been in major musicals around the world, that I have been pretty successful in, and I have one lined up starting in July for a short run in Melbourne, but i will also be working 9-5 in the city. I have a car so need a car park or a parking permit etc. But would be up for doing shopping runs for the house! A creative house would be a bonus, but not too stressed about that. Looking for a approx 6 month ish contract, but also flexible with that. thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! Alex

I have my own place now in Sandringham but wanting to move closer to city so i have all my own stuff to possibly arrange a team up or i can store this if the house already is furnished. I love spending my spare time keeping fit and healthy and catching up with friends, would like to have a housemate to chat and socialise with but also do our own thing aswel. Please send me a message if you think we would suit.
I am a Belgian living in Australia and have just finished my degree in audio engineering. I spend a lot of time playing/working on music and am not really a party type. Preferably I'd like to live with people that aren't too loud either. I'm looking for places along the Frankston/Sandringham train lines.
Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and am a full-time student at RMIT. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne relatively soon to study a masters degree in public policy. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, playing video games, and having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one. Raymond is a really down-to-earth 22 yr old Canadian that is halfway through his second year of law at Melbourne Uni (so a very smart cookie in other words). Like me, he loves to have a good time but is very tidy and respectful of others. His interests are pretty similar to mine (except for the video game part). He's a really fun guy to be around with a great personality and sense of humour.
This apartment has a superlovely view of the famous "Ripponlea Estate Mansion" which is exactly in front of the house :) (Everyone should visited in their life, it's just amazing). Close to all the public transport and facilities: just 5 minutes from Ripponlea train station passing all the shops from the main street in the hearth of Ripponlea, Bus stop outside the house which bring you straight to the beach and 7 minutes walking to the tram stop on Brighton/St Kilda road. Air conditioning/heater in the lounge room and bedrooms. Dishwasher Bosch, induction stoves and washing machine ( with private hangclothes at the back of the apartments)
Unit in an appartment complex right accross the entrance of the beautiful Ripponlea Estate & Gardens! Fully furnished, the appartment has 1 large living room, a spacious kitchen and a shared bathroom. It has a small balcony with lots of sun, big windows to keep the rooms light and there is off-street parking available. The house and room are fully furnished and includes all amenities such as TV, stove with oven and grill, microwave etc. In addition, your bedroom comes with a built-in wardrobe and fan! The unit is conveniently located around the corner of Glen Eira Road, with a lovely shopping street and loads of good shops, cafes and restaurants. Ripponlea train station is a 4 minute walk away and St Kilda is a 20 minute walk or a short bus/tram ride away! The room is suitable for 1 person, in which case the rent would be $220 per week incl internet. In the case of a couple (or 2 mates wanting to share) the rent will be $125 p.p. per week incl internet. Bond is 1 month rent, rent is paid monthly to our landlord. You'll be sharing the house with me, a 25 year old Physiotherapist, originally from The Netherlands. I work various shift throughout the week and on weekends I prefer to be active (Volleyball, kitesurfing), do some cooking and go for beers with mates. Please send me a message if interested and we'll arrange a viewing :-)
Hi. We are Angela & Fernando. We are a couple from Bogotá, Colombia and we are looking for a cozy place to live. Angela – I am Civil Engineer and I am studying an MBA at Monash University. Fernando – I studied Finance and I am going to study English at Impact College to improve my language skills and then enter to a post-graduation course. We are a good couple to live with. We are easy-going, open-minded and very good-tempered. We both like sports, movies, dancing, share a good meal and chat.
We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)
I'm a new kid on the block to Melbourne and will be looking to move into a place from the 16th July. I'm 33 and like a good balance in a flat - knowing when to be social/interactive and knowing when to enjoy having chill time. I'm clean and tidy and pretty relaxed. I like cooking, music, gardening, travel, camping - (outdoors in general!), the beach, animals and chilling out with a vino :)
Hey there! My name is Kaity and I'm a 22 year old Healthcare Professional from Melbourne. Currently I'm looking for an apartment style home as close to the city as possible. In my spare time I enjoy surfing, eating food, relaxing and seeing my friends. I'd love a flat mate who enjoys a dinner and drink every now and again and who is sociable. I also enjoy a good Netflix sesh on the couch. I'm certainly not a party animal. My work roster doesn't allow for the party life! But I'all never say no to a beer or two! I work a 4 on / 4 off 24 hour rotating roster I'm clean and tidy and very well organised. I enjoy cooking so if you have a busy lifestyle I'd be happy to make sure there's always something to eat. I'm preferably looking for an apartment with a private/own bathroom with gym/pool facilities too. It says I'm ready to move in now but I'm very flexible with any move in dates I do not smoke but don't mind if anybody in the house does! I love going to the gym and going for runs in the evenings. I make rad tuna salads and smoothies too 💁🏽
Originally from the UK, but have lived in Melbourne for 10 years. I work full-time in the city as a Marketing and Business Development Manager at a law firm. Pretty active with sports - running, badminton, swimming, gym, pilates, yoga and barre, which I usually do after work (or in the morning if I am awake early). I currently live on Chapel Street so I am keen to stay within the area. Brunching, hiking, reading and binge watching TV are also regularly on my agenda. Always up for a glass of wine. Also - clean and tidy because that's a thing.
About me- I'm twenty years old, currently working 2 jobs in hospitality. One of them is full time (5 days) and the other is 2 nights a week. So you won't find me at home too often, in between work and my social life. I also practice makeup artistry in my spare time and draw a lot. Other than that I like to keep my room/surroundings tidy and will be more than welcome to chip in with chores. I'm quite easy going but will respect your space and am punctual with payments/bills etc. That's about it and I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Sacha (-: P.s. i love dogsssss
Dear future flatmate, I am an active and outgoing individual looking for an easygoing and friendly home. I work full time in the city and like to spend my weekends exercising and going to markets to do my weekly shopping. I enjoy a lot of healthy cooking, olympic weightlifting and the occasional crossfit class. Originally from Sweden, I have had no problem adapting to the Melbourne coffee culture - so if drinking coffee is an activity, add it to the list! As a flatmate, I am always up for a chat at the end of a long day, perhaps over dinner or a glass of wine. I respect individual privacy and value a clean home. I believe in communication as a big key to house/flat sharing success. So that's pretty much me, I look forward to hearing about you.
Hey I'm Sally, I'm 20 years old (21 in June so I might age while this add is up haha) and I'm a very outgoing and chilled out housemate. I'm very clean, always willing to share any household jobs, and generally pretty easy to live with. I'm always keen to hang out or have a chat with my housemates, but also happy to respect privacy if you're wanting some alone time. I have two little pups, a cream coloured male chihuahua and a black female toy poodle (the female has been desexed so no risk of babies!). My dogs are both less than a year old, house trained, and primarily sleep outside in a kennel. They're both well behaved and surprisingly don't seem to yap a lot as their breeds might suggest, they only need a small yard to keep them happy as I take them for plenty of regular walks and spoil them with lots of toys to keep them entertained. In the house that I am living in now I take full care and responsibility for them both and always clean up after any unexpected incidents, and I will continue to do so in my new home. Now that I've covered my main stress of having pets, let me tell you a bit about myself! I'm currently living in Adelaide but looking to move over to Melbourne when my rental lease ends in September. I already have employment locked in for when I move, I will be working night shifts as a dancer at Spearmint Rhino. Also looking into checking out The Men's Gallery and Centrefold Lounge once I've moved. Obviously being okay with my line of work is a must for any potential future housemates. I will generally be working 3-4 nights per week. I am very quiet when I come home and usually sleep until 2pm the next day, but I don't expect you to have to be quiet for me because I am able to sleep through basically anything! I am looking at commencing study once I've moved to Melbourne, most likely a course in makeup/beauty therapy. I've actually written a lot more than I thought I would so if you've made it this far then congrats you are probably capable of putting up with my bullshit! Sling me a message if you're keen to test out being roomies.
I'm currently a full-time student at Monash university, working around the area. I'm originally from Sydney, lived in Singapore for most of my life, moved to melbourne at the end on 2014.
Hey Everyone ! I'm Naomi, I work full time in a Dental Clinic in Carlton, I've just been overseas and start back on Monday. Just need a place for around 6 weeks I'd say whilst a mate and I sort out a rental property. 23, super easy going, clean, tidy, all of that. I've lived in share houses for years so I know the drill :)
Hello all! I'm Sarah, a fun and relaxed 22 year old chef traveling for a year in Australia. I work full time at a restaurant in Ripponlea. I'm looking for a 6 month lease that starts no later than June 1st. I definitely work a lot so I usually am not home much due to the long hours. I love good chats, good beer and good laughs. I am very big on communication and honesty, so am looking for roommates who are the same in that way, especially with anything that involves the apartment/house. I look forward to meeting you guys and bare with me, I'm trying to find a place with only a few days off a week and a tight schedule! Cheers!
