We have a great sized bedroom available in a 2 bed flat in Ripponlea for short term rental. It's available from the 28th of May untill mid July potentially more. We are only 100m from the train station, with frequent trains to flinders street and eastern suburbs (Richmond, Windsor, Prahran etc), 4 minutes walk from the 67 tram. 10 minutes walk to st kilda botanical gardens & 20 the beach. Perfect place for couples or on your own, if you work in the city or are looking for somewhere as a first place in Melbourne. The flat is modern and spacious, you will be living with a couple from England and the states, were very easy going and enjoy going for a drink or two. We both work during the day and have evenings off. The bond is negotiable and the price is $300 a week, so it's a great price for such a well located and modern flat. The room is fully furnished and so is the whole apartment, with wifi, foxtel and a washing machine. Message me if you're interested/would like to view it. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers
CLEAN, QUIET, modern home. rated best suburb for public transport in melbourne: ripponlea station, also close to elsternwick station, 3 buses to brighton beach and back to city, tram 87 to st kilda rd/city, bus to luna park and 'chaddy', bus to aclandst/northote/fitzroy. very safe quiet cul-de-sac neighbourhood.
This beautiful split level apartment is a dream to live in. Right near Ripponlea Village and Ripponlea Estate, it doesn't get more 'Brooklyn' than this in Melbourne. The room has an ensuite with shower and toilet so you'll have complete privacy. The upstairs shared living area is already furnished and has a wrap around balcony with CBD views - the sunsets are gorgeous. Two blocks away from Ripponlea Station and walking distance to a tram and bus means public transport is a breeze. Also easy as access to Carlisle Street and St Kilda beach as. Single $280 Couple $300 Bills not included.
The apartment is on the top level of the 3 story block. It is light and bright and has beautiful energy. There is a small balcony that over looks all the colourful Elwood trees. This is also where I have a cactus collection. (Slight obsession with indoor & outdoor plants). The room can easily fit a double bed with furniture around it, or a queen size bed but may not have a lot of extra room much else. Also has a double built in wardrobe. The bathroom is shared. Nice big sized double shower and separate toilet. The apartment is fully furnished so absolutely no room for any furniture other that your own bedroom things. I have been living in this apartment for almost 4 years now and absolutely love it. Close to shops, beach and a bonus with the tram stop just out the front and a 5 minute walk to either Elsternwick or Ripponlea stations. Also includeds an off street car space.

I'm looking for a spacious accomodation for about 4/5 month before going back in Europe.I like green,so prefer to live in a place with a garden. I work in a company as a full skilled tiler, and amongs other have a passion for artistic mosaic. I do like cooking, especially seafood and and some italian dishes of course and enjoy much cooking with friends and housemates. I like traveling around the world, and to be curious is a quality to me. I'm friendly, and somebody finds me funny, i'm quite silent and chilled as well. I enjoy hiking, dinners, sports, salsa dancing, meditation, and music. I'm looking for a place that feels like home, to share with people with whom I can be at ease and share something, not just say hello.
Hi there! My name is Caitlin, I'm a 20 years old and studying full time media and communications at Monash University. First I would love to tell you a bit about myself - I am from Wagga Wagga, NSW and have been living in Melbourne since March. After finishing high school in 2015, I lived and worked in England for 18 months, travelling around different parts of Europe in my spare time! Following this, I spent 3 months in Mexico before coming home this year to begin my university studies! I am a pretty chill person who loves to have their own space, but I do enjoy a bit of company and having a gossip over a cuppa or a glass of wine. I also love musical theatre and have a habit of singing all the time - but I do shut up if I'm told! I am looking to rent a room from the 20th of July til whenever, so if I sound like I'd fit in with you and your housemates, please send me a message!
Looking for a Spacious and Quite Town house/ free standing house with positive individuals. I'm Well travelled, mature, independent and have lived in share houses before. I take pride in my life and living space. I’m chilled, friendly , social but also love a lot of down alone time , like any well balanced Libra 😉 You could find me at a Latin gig sweating it out on the dance floor, browsing through an Op shop, with a good book and a Chai, going to Yoga and Thai boxing classes.. I am a professional working in HR and also a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I promise I won’t turn you into a chicken in the middle of the night but could help you with your chocolate addiction 😜 Available parking for my car, and some heating will be a nice plus, but most important with good vibes that feels great coming home to! Look forward to hearing from you, if you have a place in these areas!
I am a young professional - VCE English Teacher- looking to find a place in the East. I have relatively busy working weeks, so after work I like to go to yoga/Pilates, cook dinner and relax. In my spare time (when I’m not marking essays), you will find me running, cooking, reading, sharing a glass of wine, eating out and exploring all Melbourne has to offer. I love cooking, so you will often find me in the kitchen and working my way through new cookbooks. I am an independent person, but I’m hoping to find someone who will also double as a friend, who can share the occasional meal, glass of wine and gym session with! I am house proud; always happy to clean! I have plenty of experience in share houses and I would consider myself a very respectful housemate.
Hi everyone! I am currently living in Switzerland (and have been since Feb 2017) with my partner while studying as an exchange student in Zürich. Unfortunately he cannot come with me, but I need to finish my degree, so will be returning to Melbourne alone in June. When I return I will be completing my last semester at RMIT and working part-time as a graphic designer in Brighton. Interests include: design, visiting art galleries, making things in general (I'm keen to get into sewing), hiking, meeting friends at cool cafés, reading, yoga and marketing. I also sometimes play Pokémon, but this is more of a childhood nostalgia comfort than an obsession. I am organised, clean, respectful, always pay rent / bills on time and have a generous portion of savings to fall back on. I am also vegetarian, but as most people I know aren't, I certainly don't have any objections to meat in the house so long as I don't have to eat it. Looking for an unfurnished room (I have stuff!) in a sharehouse with likeminded / lovely people aged 23–35 that could be a home for 6 months (or longer if couples would be considered further down the road).
I am an easy going person who loves a chat but also loves personal space and is respectful of others. I am neat and tidy and always clean up after myself. I always pay rent on time,
Hi, Im Chris I work as a self employed plumber, I'm 30 and have a dog (Brock, read his info below) I'm pretty quite during weekdays, sometimes out for dinner or drinks but try to keep it fairly quiet. I aim to keep active and when i'm not working i try exercise a few times a week, starting surfing and keeping on top of all the over hobbies I've taken up over my life hah. Weekends i work sometimes so try to keep it under control of but more often than not end out with a few boys and still trying to figure out that fabled hung-over cure. Brock is still a pup, close to 6 months old now and is very easy going and likes to sleep all day. He is a purebreed rhodesian ridgeback with a liver nose. He will be a bigger than average dog but is well underway with his training and has plenty of toys to keep him amused when im away at work. He is off to obedience camp in a month to learn new tricks as well.
I think I'm good to live with because I'm honest, accepting of others, and what you see is what you get. I'm mature (but still know how to have a bit of fun!), come with a good dose of life experience, and generally have a pretty calm and even temperament. I am happy to socialise and hang out occasionally, but I'm also pretty content to keep to myself and respect others' privacy as needed. I come as a duo- I have a 7 year old schitzsu named Coco. She's a beautiful little ball of fluff who is very well-behaved, sociable and importantly, perfectly house-trained. She also comes with references from our previous landlord!
I have a nice manner about me and I'm a fairly interesting person (I think) . I'm a mature woman who enjoys casual conversations but also those which capture my attention , and, apart from the usual social likes, I enjoy attending interesting events as I'm inquisitive, so whether it's a good movie, a cruise on the harbour or the Yarra, or another type of event such as a good play, they would all be on my list. I enjoy people but also like being on my own. I'm not a party animal so value harmony at home but that doesn't mean that I'm quiet as a mouse. I'm Definitely not!
Hey there, 36 year old. Originally from the UK (But now an Aussie Citizen!). Already lived in Melbourne for 4 years, then a short stint in Darwin NT then spent the last 12 months working and living in Abu dhabi. I've always classed Melbs my home. I'm an ICU nurse consultant at Alfred Hospital. About me. I'm a gay guy.....Not everyone's cup of tea which is why i'm sticking it on here. No point in living with someone who doesn't approve I work hard and play hard....Enjoy my crossfit. Boom! Keeps me semi sane. Don't really drink a lot these days Also like chilled times in with a movie and cooking healthy food. Cheers
About me: I work 9-5ish as a lawyer. I go the gym in my free time. The only cooking I do is meal prep on Sundays. I love brunch, the occasional wine and all the Netflix. I also come with free gym tips, a wide range of conversation topics, holiday recommendations and a full suite of furniture! What I’m looking for: I’m looking for a room with lots of windows and natural light, and a leafy outlook if possible. Built ins are a must, an ensuite and a car spot would be nice to have too! Happy to increase my budget if the place is perfect and closer to public transport/the city :) I am NOT interested in student accomodation, home stays or sharing a room.
Hey peeps, I'm a 27 year old female that works full time, mon-fri in cancer clinical trials in North Melbourne. I'm originally from qld but I have lived in richmond for the last 2 years and think it's about time for a change of scenery. As most of my friends live East I am looking for somewhere South East and hoping to be closer to the beach. I'm a social person and am looking for a place where flatmates are also friends. Love beaching, hiking, keeping fit and enjoying some sneaky beverages on the weekends. I'm currently in no rush to move so am hoping to take my time so I can find people I click with or can maybe team up with to find a place. I would need somewhere I can also give my current place at least a months notice. Let me know if you think we'd be a good fit :)
I am easy going, I enjoy a chat but also enjoy my personal space. I pay rent on time and just a chill person to live with. I am a homebody, but enjoy going out with my friends from time to time.
My name is Crystal, I work fulltime 7:45am-6pm tuesday-friday, I like to have a wine here and there after a busy day after work. I love to look at the stars and lights at night. I do meditation and yoga here and there. I like my space sometimes but doesnt everyone need a little time to themselves. Hit me up if you need any other info
hello everyone :) My name is Lorenzo, 31 yo, australian with italian background. I am a reserved, quiet and clean guy who is very much used to live in a respectful and cooperative way with others. I work part time as a restaurant supervisor, study and I also work as a musician on weekends. Even though I tend to keep it to myself, I enjoy the social aspect of sharing a flat. I'd like to think of my housemates as potential friends. If you'd like to know more about me just shout me a text and let's have a chat in person!
