Modern and very secure 2 bedroom apartment in Balaclava. It's split across two levels - kitchen, living/dining, European laundry and balcony downstairs and bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs - and is fully furnished in all shared areas. The apartment is 2 minute walk to a train station and 5 minutes to trams. Walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. It's 15 minutes to the city on the train and not far from the beach either. The best of both worlds!
We have a large room available immediately in our Ripponlea share house. Rent is $1000/month for singles and $1500/month for couples +bond, including bills. The house is only a 2 min walk to the Ripponlea train station and 2 mins from the 67 tram so public transit is a breeze and there's plenty of shops (Coles, IGA, bottle shops, restaurants/bars etc.) close by. St Kilda and Elwood beach are both a 5 min drive (10-15 min walk). We have a huge yard and we're in the process of planting a garden so hopefully we'll have plenty of fresh veggies soon!
I am moving down to Melbourne on last week of December. Will be working full time for Software firm located in Gardenvale area. I am clean, tidy and respectful. Love cooking, baking and travelling.
Hi, I’m a 24 year old female originally from Scotland, been living in Melbourne for the past 5 years! I work full time in St Kilda as a early childhood educator. I’m pretty quiet during the week and love to explore different places on the weekends with my boyfriend and my 1 year old puppy- Tucker. Tucker is a super super friendly French bulldog x Staffy loves attention and cuddles and especially loves the company of other dogs 😊
I'm an easygoing, social and mature housemate looking to join an existing home. I have just moved back to Melbourne and looking to find a place with good company; people who like to hang out together, share a drink or meal and have great house sharing etiquette :) I'm currently settling into Melbourne and looking for a job. I am qualified as a primary teacher and a designer. My interests are outdoors, art, climbing, cycling, beach and I like to be social and active!
Hey I'm Sam, I'm a full-time primary school teacher. I enjoy a pretty active lifestyle and catching up with my friends. I've lived in the Inner South Eastern suburbs all my life and really like the area. I'm content with and enjoy my own privacy, however, I also enjoy meeting new people and being around others.
I’ve just moved back from Singapore and I’m looking for a place to be able to relax and also interact with the rest of the house. I’m working at Newscorp in advertising and love to be social on the weekend
Ballerina by day & sport psychology student by night 💖
My Ideal House I am an honest and trustworthy law student. I am hoping to find some other law students/working professionals to share or team up with. My ideal house would be quiet, especially at night. I also don't drink alcohol, smoke or watch television. I would love to live with other law students/working professionals who would be up for a chat over a meal/cup of coffee or a game of chess. Looking forward to meeting you :)
Hey, I'm a... fun person? Easy going and like a quiet space. I've just started in engineering, and do a lot of scout stuff outside of work. Always love to grab a beer with some company, and I like to cook. Looking for a room for myself and a not very busy household. I work in the city so walking distance to train station is required.
- Up for anything that will end in a giggle - Recently retired full-time traveller - Primary teacher by profession - Non-professional artist (drawing, painting) - Food enthusiast - Love a bunch of evening activities; movies, drinks and chats, mellow night in, live music, etc. - happy to join in random adventures (ALWAYS up for adventure!) - Would love an involved household, people who want to be friends, can keep the place clean, look out for each other and who are (at least a little) environmentally conscious (like with bills and sending good vibes to my plants) - Overall very easy going, up for new things, tidy, considerate and smiling :)
Hi! I'm a 26 year old colombian lawyer. I am arriving in Melbourne on January 25th to improve my English and then start a master degree in law (LLM). I'm looking for a room in a nice place, preferably near the city center. I would prefer to have my own room and bathroom. The budget depends on the location and the "amenities" of the place that I choose. I am an organized, neat and cheerful person, I like sports and I love dancing and meeting new people.
I currently looking for a share accomodation/private room only for rent. I'm very friendly, love a chat and a glass of wine every now and then at the same time I like my own space and respect others private space the same way. I'm looking for a house Where it's safe And friendly to be and free of cats ( sorry) allergy ! and smoke and drug free. I'm more for a healthy lifestyle . Cheers
Hiya, I work 2 days a week as a walking tour guide in the city and also work freelance in the arts industry (film and theatre). It tends to keep me mostly fully employed but I do have a sometimes unpredictable schedule. I like all things artsy, going out to hidden bars and cooking. I want to be a person that can own many indoor plants. So far I have only 1 but she is very much alive so I have high hopes. I love potatoes and I own all the costumes from silversun. I'd love to team up with people or find a place that I can help make my/our own.
G'day flatmaters, my name is Antoine, I'm 23 years old, and looking for a place to live. I've been living in share houses since I was 18 so I'm pretty well adjusted to living with other people already, and as much as it bums me out having to leave my current digs, changing conditions with the people I live with means that I don't really have a choice... I work at the beach in Albert Park and am starting honours this year at Melbourne Uni as a (almost) fully fledged biomedical research scientist. For proximity, I'm mostly looking to stay near the bay area. I'm a pretty relaxed dude, I don't need a lot of looking after. I'm always happy to smash a couple stubbies any time of day but I'm also respectful of people's privacy and need for some down time. I'm very inclusive and easy to get along with I would say but I'm not the one hanging out with me so I'll let you be the judge. I did include that I smoke because I didn't wanna lie in case some people really hate that, but I really don't smoke that much at all, a couple a day at most if any. My hobbies include skiing, tennis, drawing (I'll take you to some life drawing classes with cheap beer if you're into that), very big on music, especially aussie sounds, hiking and long walks, camping and movies. In terms of what I'm looking for, just enough space to put my bed and a desk really. I'm entirely autonomous but not very good at being alone for extended periods, so ideally I'd like to move in with a pretty lively crowd, and the number of housemates is not an issue, I lived in a 5 person share house for 4 years and it was a blast! If you pick me, I'll make you the best beer battered crepes you ever had, and I'll buy you a beer to go with it. I can also teach you French, and if you talk a lot of shit like I do we'll get along I reckon.
Hi I am here from the UK travelling around Australia on the WHV so looking for short term lets. I am working as an agency nurse doing shift work so I will be in/out at different hours. Exploring the city and enjoying being out in the sunshine. I am a relaxed and friendly person easy to live with !
My name is Becky, I’m 34, I work full time in the evenings. I’m generally gone from home between 6pm and 6am. I’m clean, honest, reliable. I’m looking to rent a room with one other roommate preferably, hopefully around the same age. I respect others privacy and personal belongings and I would assume the same was given. I’m friendly, always up for a chat and the odd glass of wine. I’m easy to get along with.
Been in Melbourne for about 2 years now still kinda fresh off the boat feels, Im 23 ~~ studying Business Masters degree and working part time as a bartender well not sure what more roles I might be doing later, quite easy to get along with people but I'm also good at staying out of the way. mad respect to everyone's private space(idgaf✌). Im clean tidy considerate person who has great sense of humor, watches lots of netflix plus some drama but no time for it anymore uni is killing my inner soul already. Rent can be negotiable from 130-160, My only request is to make sure the house is nearby train station or trams because Unfortunately, I don't have a driving license to own a car any sooner:(
*move in date may be earlier Hola. Name's Katrina Mae. Seeking a room long term that can cater for a queen bed. BIR and/or private bathroom would be grand. Employed full time in print. Low key during the work week but still jovial. Courteous, tidy, timely w/ rent, easy going. Smoke outside only. I draw, cook, go to gigs, spend time with friends, volunteer, watch films/series, read, play video and board games. I'd like to reside in a mature, somewhat social yet relaxed household with roommate etiquette (near public commute - shops).
