I'm mature and professionally focused. I don't spend much time at home but I always clean and pay rent on time. I'm low maintenance, very nice and i'm easy to get along with. I'm fitness focused and am a qualified PT, but I have temporarily left the industry. I work full time in the public service. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have a pet or throw parties. My girlfriend will be over some of the time, but I spend most weekends at her house. I know what sharehouses and flat shares are like, having lived in a few, so i respect peoples space and clean up and do my part of the housework. I'm also pretty great :)
This is a comfortable home that seems to work well as a share house. If you like a bbq on a deck or a swim in summer it probably suits you particularly well. The house is in a cul de sac so parking is pretty easy out the front.
Looking for a down to earth housemate to share a great fully furnished home. The bedroom has a good sized BIR and it's unfurnished. (It can come with a double bed if required) Electricity and unlimited WIFI is included in the rent of $180 per week. Gas and Water bills get split 3 ways or by however many people who are renting rooms during the billing cycle. We have cleaners come to the house once a fortnight. (Included in rent) The house has the following amenities; dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, washing machine, ducted floor heating and a large deep freezer. 2 weeks rent in advance + 2 weeks security deposit ($720 in total) will be required at the start of your tenancy. If this sounds like a place where you'd like to live please touch base to arrange an inspection. *NETFLIX in the main living room. *Driveway or street parking. *No smokers prefered. *No pets prefered. (Depends though) *No couples.
Great entertainer with stunning views over Canberra. Occasional weekend party with your friends is not an issue. All young professionals living here currently. We respect each others space and keep the house tidy. The house also backs the reserve so no loud neighbours and plenty of space for exercise. Room is larger than normal and includes ensuite bathroom. Down payment of 4 weeks bond and a 1 months rent in advance requires.
I’m currently studying Primary Education. I’m work 2 jobs, both at clubs. The hours can be a bit unsocial sometimes. I’m not a party person but I do enjoy a casual beer and a chat. I don’t mind a bit of skiing, so people to tag along there would be nice. I have my own car, so somewhere to park in requires but I don’t need a garage.
We keep the place very clean and tidy. Its a nicely furnished and well appointed townhouse with ducted aircon and heating. Its very convenient to most parts of town. The room itself is not huge but its sunny and has a builtin wardrobe. There is a single bed, bedside table and desk but these can be stored if you have your own stuff. Although its a shared bathroom we don't seem to clash and it has never been a problem with previous house mates. Supply your own meals, there are two refrigerators. When we meet we can negotiate the finer details. The room and situation is ideal for a contractor who commutes to Canberra and needs a room for a home base. In this case the rent can also be negotiated.
Available to move in now. I am a young full time working public servant specialising in international relations, who is looking to move into an unfurnished room with a private/ ensuite bathroom with my adorable 8yo cat Mowgli. We are both very quiet individuals and single, clean (especially Mowgli who enjoys grooming himself) and appreciate a tidy and calm household. I spend a lot of my time at work or in community halls doing Argentine dance. Mowgli's idea of a good day is one spent eating and sleeping. My preference is for a place that is in Civic (or within short walking distance to Civic, e.g. Braddon) or with direct bus access to Civic. I am neat, responsible and do not smoke. Guaranteed to pay rent on time. While I am up for an occasional chat, I will be respectful of your space and privacy. Besides dancing, hobbies include dancing, reading, drawing/ painting, practising foreign languages and travelling widely abroad. I am flexible with moving in dates (preferably June/July) and intend to stay for the long term with long term flatmates if possible. Very happy to answer any questions you may have and see if we would make great flatmates!
I’m a Canadian student coming to Canberra to do a health studies internship in Deakin for a semester (end of August until mid-January). I like sports (boxing, rugby, wrestling, soccer), pets (any kind!), and food (also any kind). Though I will be doing some online courses and applying to med school while I’m there I still really love having fun and want to explore Australia as much as I can in my time. I’m super easy going and clean, hoping to find a flatmate that is the same and won’t mind giving me directions or travel tips on occasion.
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra in July for work (I'm an engineer) and am looking for somewhere to live for me and my (very well behaved) kelpie Lenny :) I work full time and like to do things like cycling and rock climbing in my time off. I also enjoy a good movie or Netflix binge, having a drink or two with friends, board games etc. My dog is awesome, well behaved and very friendly, he will be your new best friend if you want one. I'm pretty flexible with location and am open to moving into an established sharehouse or looking for a new rental with someone. Feel free to contact me if you think I might be a good fit!
For those wanting somewhere to call home. There is nothing better than relaxing in front of the wood fire at the end of the day with a glass of wine. Plenty of space with two lounge rooms so you can have your privacy and set in for a solid session of netflix binge watching at your leisure. Rustic charm, the deck and bbq area out the back are primed for summer evenings. The room There are two vacant rooms from which you can choose. The remaining one will probably remain empty to be used as storage. The first bedroom (just over 3.2 x 2.7) is a light, carpeted room with a 1.5 built in robe. Plenty of room for a double or queen bed and bedside tables. The second bedroom (just over 3.0 x 2.8) is a little smaller but has triple full length glass slide doors out onto the balcony, meaning you would have your own access/entry point as well. The second bedroom has 1 built in robe and is also carpeted. Happy to provide room as either furnished or unfurnished, however there may be an additional once-off charge for furnished. The house The house is a 1970s style three bedroom, two lounge room brick house with substantial front and back yard areas and plenty of room for a keen gardener. Lots of greenery. Recently renovated kitchen and lounge room and separate dining area. Laundry with washing machine and old school hills hoist out the back. You will have your own parking space and built in security system care of Frank the dog. Floor boards throughout the house. Dishwasher in the kitchen. Job done!
