$400/week•30-31 year old woman and man
A bit about us - I (Dawn) am a 30 year old Malteser, have been in Australia for over a year now. I left Melbourne over the winter to do a bit of exploring further north, and have just headed back to the city with my partner Vukasin, or Vule for short (31/M).
I work as a doctor back home and am currently studying to get my medical registration here in Australia, and doing different part time jobs in the meantime. Most recently was up in Northern Rivers learning a bit more about naturopathy and holistic health. I like to spend my free time hunting down live music gigs, absorbing information and art on science, nature, and what it means to be human, and getting my body moving in one way or another depending on the mood. I’m an amateur free diver and a scuba diver. My partner Vukasin is a chef by trade and has studied architecture, is the sort of person who’s good at fixing random objects that may not be co-operating at any given time, and is a creative human - whether that’s through food, sketching, writing, or dark humour. He’s into sports like basketball and martial arts. Will win any poker face competition easily.
We both love music and enjoy being outside somewhere green, by the water, or by a fire. Happy campers, enjoy trekking. And definitely down for a kitchen boogie and the occasional techno outing, or a spontaneous after dark adventure with no end goal. Vule will be working at a restaurtant in Resevoir, and I will get back into support work until I get my registration.
Pretty easy-going humans, not too fussy just looking for somewhere cosy to call home. Would be great if we can share that space with others. We’ve both had plenty of house-shares and know great it can be when you have a good little community going with a balance of personal space and downtime with socialising, sharing meals, chats over tea or whatever it may be.
Queer friendly/bi. Also both very happy to be around four-legged friends if they happen to be a part of the community, and possibly get some things growing in the garden if we get the chance/if there’s space for that sort of thing 🙃
