Hi, I’m Lilliana I’m moving to Melbourne for a year, for no reason in particular, just the experience I suppose :) While I’m there I’ll be working part time at a law firm and maybe I’ll even pick up a job bartending. I’ll also be doing my uni degree online for the year. I’m in my second year of a Bachelor of Arts and laws (majoring in Indigenous studies and Environmental Humanities) and I’m absolutely loving it! I would say that I’m easy to live with because I will always respect people’s boundaries. By that I mean that if you have systems for the way things are around the house, I will respect that. If someone doesn’t have the space to socialise, they are never under any obligation to talk to me. Oh, and I’ll never take your leftovers in the fridge :). I would also ask the same in return. I keep my spaces clean. I am reliable with paying rent. I will be earning enough each week to pay rent. However, I also have emergency savings if, for whatever reason, something happened and I couldn’t use my weekly wages. I also think I’m nice to live with because I’m overall just a fun and considerate person to be around. I’m always down for a chat or a side quest. I’ll leave it at that for now. I studied music and play a few instruments, so I’m really keen to get involved in the local music scene and share that creative space with others. I’ll probably pick up a full-time hospitality job once I arrive, but I’m financially stable and easygoing. I’m clean, respectful of other people’s space, and I don’t really drink or party a lot- but I still love being social and checking out events around town. I’m also big on getting outside, hiking, and practicing mindfulness and grounding. I spent the last year and a half living/working/traveling in New Zealand and Asia, and now I’m ready to put down some roots here in Melbourne for at least a year with a stable job.
