Hi Flatemates, There's a large room on offer, great open house, big yard, veggie patch, big kitchen and alot of space. The week end markets are a short walk, where there are food trucks, fresh produce, brick a brack, and live music. Plenty of work in the area and near transport, rail and bus. We are a friendly house, hoping to have a new flatemate, who can have some fun together, having said that its not a party house. Every one works, and we are ok with students from UQ, QUT, and Griffith.
-Professional female -Works Full time -Neat, tidy -Quiet and I will treat your home as if its my home I'm looking for a granny flat, studio apartment or one bedroom apartment, not interested in shared houses and would prefer my own place.
Clean, tidy, considerate, friendly and always on time with bills. About me: Hi my name is Tammi and I'm either looking to start a sharehouse or join an established one before August when my current lease runs out. I am a clean and tidy person, where cleaning up after yourself in a timely manner and chipping in with the housework is an environment I like to live in. I like to recycle, try to save both water and electricity (which helps when bill time comes around) and keep the house maintained. I mainly keep to myself but am always up for a chat or a housemate dinner and drinks. I come with a microwave, PS4, TV, TV stand and kitchen essentials. I'm happy to chip in for new appliances and furniture if needed. What I'm looking for: Preferably I'm looking at living with a max of four people (with one bathroom per pair) and having a room with built in wardrobes that would fit a queen bed and a tallboy. A dishwasher is a massive plus. I'm looking at a max of $140 per week for rent and looking at living within 20km of the city. Southside is preferable, I'm currently living in Moorooka. I've been renting for years and am specifically looking for like-minded housemates my own age who are already housetrained, considerate towards others and also like a well maintained house. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions for me, want to arrange a coffee meetup or think I sound like what you're looking for. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Looking for a quiet, stress free place where I can live my life without any hassles. A place close to shopping centres, buses, train stations etc. I have my own furniture so a large sized room to suit a double bed, my computer tables, mini fridge & freezer would be ideal. If built ins cupboards are available with built in shelf space that would also be a big help. Air-con or ceiling fans would also be nice. I will be honest to say that I am on the pension at the moment due to some health issues I am dealing with, but I'm paying $140 per week including all utilities, where I am currently living in Acacia Ridge and my rent has always been paid earlier than the due time. (Written References of this are available for verification purposes, if required.) When I am working, I work from home as a Freelance Multimedia Producer (have also worked in the Radio Industry) and I have a few projects I'm currently involved in, so finding a place with high speed internet and utilities included in the weekly rent would also be preferable. I am also a "Hard Core Gamer" (when I have the time) so finding other like minded people for LAN nights is always a plus. I also have a 4WD (which is my pride and joy) that I am currently restoring, so finding a place with a large backyard or acreage block with a large shed for storing my camping gear and my car parts would be helpful and appreciated. I am a very tidy person and I take pride in keeping the house and especially the kitchen very tidy and clean indeed! I can't stand a messy kitchen! I am also a smoker and am happy with either smoking outside or inside (I burn incense to keep the place smelling nice). I am however, not a big drinker, so you won't ever find me drunk! I am an honest, friendly, respectful and quiet bloke who mostly keeps to himself. I am happy to pitch in and help with yard mowing duties or other chores if required and am always willing to help my flatmates with things if they need it. Cheers!

Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
Howdy! I work in a college kitchen in Saint Lucia. I am quitting smoking a.s.a.p, but if smoking is an issue, I am very happy to get as far from the premises as possible if I do go for a smoke! I have 1 bird with me who is very friendly, her name is Myla and she loves head scratches :) I enjoy art, games, cooking and gardening. I'd love a place where I can relax and work on my art projects. I'm super tidy and respectful of communal areas and personal space. Would love to hear from you!
I'm a usually a quiet introverted person but I don't mind socialising every now and then. I'm not the type to have friends over often. I enjoy cooking quite a bit, mainly Asian style dishes or pasta. I take public transport so i do not require a car space. I'll do my share around the house and pay my bills on time. I don't believe i will create any problems. I also love animals, although i don't currently have one.

We're looking for a third person to join two housemates in this great Queenslander style home in Moorooka, available right now. The good sized bedroom on offer comes with an in-built wardrobe with top to floor mirrors and will comfortably fit a queen sized bed, desk and drawers. The house itself has a spacious kitchen, living room, front deck and backyard. No need to worry about the mowing either, that's included in the rent. The two of us here currently (25m, 30f - not a couple) work full time during the week, and are clean and respectful of each others privacy. Nearly always up for hanging out, too, if you enjoy the company. We're looking forward to having an addition to our home. Other quick info: - Transport to and from the city is easy, less than 800m to the train station, main bus lines, and if you're feeling fancy (or for a good Friday/Saturday night) we're only about a $15-20 Uber away. - Moorooka Woolworths is just up the road, as well as a few gyms, Yeronga Pool, Toohey Forest and plenty of other places just 6 minutes or less away. - We don't have to deal with shitty property managers or real estate, we deal directly with the owners (and they're great!) - The living room has air conditioning for those situations when it's really just too much to deal with. PM us if you want to check the place out!

I'm an easy going, tenant who has lived alone for two years now. Only seeking new place as Landlord is moving overseas and is selling the house. I'm a mature 22 yr old who has a part time job that keeps me busy five days a week. I'm quite, clean, respectful and independent. I also have a dog who is a border collie, he's people friendly and very well behaved. So who prefer to have a fully fenced yard
I'm Jess, a science communicator who recently moved to Brisbane to start a masters at UQ. I'm a pretty interesting person, having worked as a wildlife educator at a zoo, in communications for a non profit and also in a hiking store. I'd love to house share with some respectful, easygoing people of any age / background (non-smoking preferred) within an easy distance of UQ St Lucia campus. As far as roommates go I'm very down to earth. I'm an environmentally conscious vegetarian who loves cooking and farmers markets (I don't mind living with non-veggos in the least). I love tea, coffee, wine, music (listening and playing), lazy sundays, great books and conversations, yoga, and illustrating. I also have an adventurous spirit and enjoy getting out on weekends going running, hiking, camping, kayaking etc. I own both a 4WD and a beautiful border collie (currently in VIC), and I am hoping to soon move her to QLD so it's really important to me that any house share be in a pet friendly property with a fully fenced yard, that any other dogs are friendly and flea treated and there is a veranda or indoor space for my dog to sleep (I'm really worried about cane toads!). I'm a very respectful dog owner, my dog is incredibly well trained (think loads of cool tricks) and well exercised (runs/walks everyday), I keep her off furniture and out of flatmates rooms and I flea and worm her regularly. She's without a doubt the sweetest, laziest, cuddliest and smartest dog you'll meet. For a border collie shes quite small and shy, she loves nothing better than a good snooze in her basket while I study, as well as playing with toys and eating cheese. I'd prefer a house with nice kitchen and bathroom facilities, some form of parking and within an easy distance (either cycling, driving or public transport) from UQ. If you're interested in teaming up for a house share, have a room available and wouldn't mind an adorable pupper and her responsible / friendly owner to share with, please please please contact me! xx Jess
