Hello!! My name is Lilly-Dawn, I’m 18, from Cairns and am moving to Brissy early 2026 for University to study nursing. Putting this out in advanced as the rental market is freaking me out a little, and I’d like to hear from people in a similar situation as me! I have a parrot named Tooter (green cheek conure), but he’s a very well behaved boy and is fairly quiet too. I love going out, meeting new people, gaining new experiences and am so, so excited to be moving to a city! I’ve got a car, so road trips or late night maccas runs are always on the cards. I’m looking for people down for the occasional drink, movie nights, shared playlists, late night chats or just quiet study hang outs! I’m clean, tidy, especially in shared spaces, and am always respectful of the people I live with. I really love music (a lot of dad rock, 70s rock, and the entirety of Hoziers discography), films and reading (mainly contemporary fiction or societal non fiction).
