The house is next to the water (1min walk, not even) in Sandy Bay. It's a two-bedroom house with two floors, two bathrooms, kitchen, living/dinning room and a little terrace outside. The room has big windows and gets lots of light. The main UTas campus is 15-20 mins away and IMAS/Salamanca and the city centre is also 15-20 mins away. Close to all the big supermarkets and shops in Sandy Bay road but also in a quiet street next to the park and water.
This home is so epically located, close to the shops, town, and uni. The house is so much nicer than it looks in the agency pictures, and feels very homey. The kitchen is really cool, the industrial look and feel make it an awesome place to cook in! I have purchased a washing machine and microwave that i will be happy to share if they are well taken care of :). We also have a dishwasher and a huge fridge. The room we are renting out is massive, and gets some nice light. The living room is super spacious, and lovely to sit in. We have air-con in the living room for heat and cold. The rooms may get a little chilly in the winter, but that is easily solved with a heated blanket and a hot water bottle! :) We have unlimited, high-speed internet. We also have a gas cooker, and use gas to heat the hot water. The bills for the whole house, to be split between you and us, are approximately: - $100/month for electricity - $80/month for gas - $89/month for internet We calculate how much electricity/gas is owed by the time spent in the house, so if you go away for a week, you would not pay for these bills in that time! :) Internet is a fixed cost.

Hi! We have a room available in our splendid sharehouse in Sandy Bay. Unbelievably located, short 10-15 minute walk into town and similar walk to the Sandy Bay shops. We're a house of 5, unfortunately our mate Josh is headed on his overseas trip of a lifetime so we need to find a suitably amazing person to replace him! There's 5 bedrooms in the house, you will be taking over the smallest bedroom (~3m x 3m) in the house however it's still more than big enough to fit a queen sized bed and more. The rent is also adjusted accordingly- extremely cheap for the area we're in! It's unfurnished however it does come with a wardrobe (not built in). The room is upstairs- you'll also have a door that leads onto our balcony with amazing views of the derwent. 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. We all lead busy lives but all are mates essentially, so looking for someone to fit in with our vibe. Our schedules sort of do and don't overlap- there's always someone around but not enough so that the kitchen is overcrowded etc! *Unfortunately no couples and no pets *Bond is around $550 *The room is available from May 28th (rent will need to be paid starting from that date too) At the moment our lease ends mid november and we're unsure if it'll be extended due the house potentially being sold... but we're extremely hopeful it can be extended!
