The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom place - main with ensuite - separate living and dining, decent sized kitchen with modern appliances, paved area out the back door under a pergola and well established gardens (including a mulberry and fig tree and a currently neglected vege patch). There's a double carport available and a shed/garage for bikes, etc. AC in the dining and kitchen, which can also cool the lounge. Both rooms are large enough to fit a queen bed with space all around (no dimensions, sorry I forgot) and have large built-ins, but otherwise unfurnished. The main has a door that opens into the backyard. The shared spaces will be somewhat furnished - couch, dining table, cabinet - and there will be a fridge and washing machine. If you've got your own furniture/appliances, I am happy to shuffle stuff around to make things work. There's also a bit of storage space available for overflow. The garden will need a bit of attention, mostly watering so it doesn't die, mowing and oppressing the weeds. The owner will organise any of the more serious gardening. Ideally, I'd like housemates that that sort of thing appeals to. I am looking for one or two people to join me in this place, whatever works. Rent would be $325 each if you don't want to share with two others. Bills in addition to the rent and split equally. I'll be moving into the place on the weekend of the 26th and won't doing an inspections till after that. If this sounds like a good thing to you, get in touch with a bit about yourself.
Unfortunately I have to go back to Melbourne, so we're looking for someone to take over the lease fro me! We just signed the lease until July 2019, and we have an option to extend. We're looking for someone asap, by February at the latest! This a perfect for someone who wants to live comfortably while figuring out what their next move is! Newly built, and located in the heart of the Dickson shops, and close to Woolworths, you're spoilt for choice. It is also a ten min drive at ANU and Civic, and we're close to buses and the tram (whenever that starts running). Arguably you'll have not only the biggest room in the apartment, the best one (in my opinion). It opens up onto a balcony, and has a built in wardrobe and the most privacy. You'll be sharing a spacious bathroom with one other person. The apartment also features secure parking for yourself as well as a pool, gym, cinema room. The room is unfurnished, and we're still getting furniture for the apartment. So feel free to bring extra furniture with you! If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you.
The apartment is fully furnished and features your own bedroom and bathroom with a queen bed and built in robes, a generous sized living area with lounge, TV, dining table, fully equipped kitchen and study nook. You will have access to an underground secure car park and storage cage (if required). The huge balcony is north facing and there is ducted heating/cooling throughout the apartment as well as NBN. The complex also features a theatre room, pool and gym. Located in the heart of Dickson; 3kms from the CBD and an ideal location that connects to the rest of Canberra via public transport. On your doorstep is also an array of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and local shops. Weekly rent is $350.00 and a bond of two weeks rent equivalent ($700.00) is required. Bills and NBN internet will be split as they come in.
The house is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom brand new townhouse with underground parking, completed in December 2018. As the house is a 10 min bike ride or bus trip from ANU, it is perfect for uni students. The address is also less than a 400m walk to the Dickson terminus once the light rail is up and running. For those who have a car, the house is just a 10 minute drive from Belconnen and Gungahlin, and only five minutes to the city. Coles, Woolworths and IGA are also very close by. The house is fully furnished, so new housemates will only need to bring their own belongings and linen into the house. It has a large (lockable) side yard that receives sunshine throughout the day, and many windows which allow for both light and warmth to flood the home during daylight hours. The house is equipped with high quality appliances, such as a Bosch oven, stove top and dishwasher, an LG washing machine, Methven taps and shower heads and a Nespresso coffee machine. You can also stream to your heart's content with unlimited NBN fibre to the home. On top of the rent, a $20 utilities fee is required per week to cover expenses such as the internet and cleaner, as well as any other communal things we may need. Bills such as water and electricity will be split evenly between the housemates when they are invoiced to us. Couples welcome, however there will be a higher rent. Move in dates and rent prices can also be negotiated!

Hi there, we have a room available in a three-bedroom apartment in Turner. The room can easily fit a double bed + bedside tables, and has a walk-through wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom. The room comes furnished with a bed frame - we would love it if you wanted/needed it, but totally understand if you have your own bed that you want to bring with you. The room also has views across to Black Mountain. The apartment is dated, within an old complex, however I like to think that it makes up for it with its spaciousness (the rooms are much bigger than many more modern apartments) and its excellent location. Braddon/Dickson/the City/ANU are all a short walk away, and there will be a light-rail stop practically out the front. There is also plenty of visitor parking for your car.
Beautiful renovated detached house in Downer. The house has a huge living space and big yard, so lots of room for activities. there is also a huge garage for storing random things (however we are considering buying a table tennis table to spice things up). there are plenty of car spaces and parking on the street. Kitchen is fairly new and doesn't get too crowded.
Bedroom available in the perfect O'Connor share house, right around the corner from Lyneham Shops and an 8 minute drive into Braddon and the city. The room has built in wardrobes, windows overlooking the amazing back yard and is available from the beginning of February. The house is furnished, and while the room is unfurnished I'm looking to sell my Ikea bedroom furniture. Rent is $820 per month paid, with gas, water, electricity and internet bills on top. Bills are generally around $150 per quarter, with the internet paid monthly. The house comes with amazing gas heating, a new kitchen and bathroom and the perfect deck and backyard.
