The property is a great location, Next to George street, which has bars cafes, fitness. Close to the river. The apartment is secure and gated. Views are amazing you can see the sun setting over the sea. The balcony is sun drenched . Aircon is never needed as the Fremantle Dr is cooling and blows through. The bathroom has a bath / shower. The place is light and airy , seperate laundry room also. Good strorage. I have my own portable wifi, 70 bucks per month cause up till now have lived alone. It’s good coverage as is affordable . I have Netflix also.
The single storey terrace was built out of limestone in the 1880’s. The colonial terrace is on a quite culdesac full of historic homes and a 10min walk into to central Fremantle. The river and parklands are 5mins walk and you have a choice of beaches within a short walk or drive. The Fremantle Art Centre and Fremantle Pool/Gym is a 2mins walk. The house has been architecturally restored with the bedrooms away from the living area, giving you privacy, specially with the thick stone walls. The rear of the renovated house has a large living room with cathedral ceilings and bifold doors leading onto a terrace with bbq, and a lush rear garden. There is a private outdoor shower and typical rear loo. Your bedroom has high ceiling, a wooden floor boards, ceiling fan and queen size bed. The room has a wardrobe, drawers and desk, more storage can be arranged. The room has been designed as a library, so it has floor to ceiling book shelves and ladder. Your room has its own tv and DVD player, with French doors with shutters leading onto the front veranda and overlooking a small garden. The rent includes a friend who cleans the entire house once a week. Utility bills are shared. Food is your own responsibility, although I happily share my food. I cook a great Sri Lankan curry. A small kitty I find best, so one person is not stuck buying all the toilet paper and washing machine powder.

You would be sharing with a 47 year old couple so they can save for a holiday/pay more off their mortgage. There is a bed and a cupboard and airconditioning, reasonable size but basic. From previous experience we definately want people who work full time. The houseshares that worked best for us here were with people who were travelling and so didn't bring a lot of extra stuff into house and weren't staying indefinately. I realize this makes us sound a little fussy (we are getting older damnit) but like everyone else we think we are pretty easy going. We really don't mind who joins us as long as they work full time and don't bring extra furniture. The location is beautiful so if you don't like us you can ignore us- a drink and the view is excellent company on the porch or by taking our dog (impossible not to like) for a walk along the river!
Myself, one fantastic guy and one rad girl have an awesome house and we are looking for another two to share our great vibe. We have a huge kitchen/ lounge area with an extra lounge/projector room. There is a huge deck, heated pool and backyard too so there's plenty of room for privacy if you don't feel like sharing a beer/scotch/wine with us after work while Luke fires up the BBQ or pizza oven (hopefully). The rooms available both have ensuites and their own courtyard. The place has high ceilings and plenty of natural light. What's great about living here is how close it is to the center of Freo, South Beach and South Terrace bars and restaurants. Ideal position to catch the train to the city for work. 15 min walk to the Fremantle train station. 10 min walk to Little Creatures. 20 min walk to South Beach or a 5 min bike ride. If you have a bicycle, scooter or motorcycle it is possible to park in the secure garage. The house is quite and we are in the process of making it super chill as we have just moved in. There is a large outdoor paved courtyard which gets some nice morning sun. The main living room has air con. Not a party house. More of a chilled out BBQ sort of place. All bills (including internet) and consumables like toilet paper and washing powder included in the price , we just ask for 2 weeks bond in advanced, and we pay rent weekly. We also require references as we have got to inform the Estate agent. They are super friendly and helpful. Also if you have a profile we can view and a little about yourself that would be awesome. As we have just moved in we don't have many photos. But will hopefully get that done soon!

We have a double room available in a cozy house with a beautiful hidden green garden situated on a great location! Our home has a comfortable lounge/living area with an open plan kitchen. At the back of the house you can find our hidden tropical/meditarian oasis, all in the mids of Fremantle. Its full of beautiful olive trees, palm trees and other green plants. There is a little veggie patch and a huge pile of homemade compost to grow the best veggies. We also have an outside cat that loves to lay around and be lazy. The beach, cafe's, pubs and shops are just a short 5min away. And with the bus stop right in front of the door you can get anywhere else pretty easily. We are preferably looking for an easy going couple that loves a good laugh and enjoys the house as much as we do, but we are open to just one person too. We have a vegetarian/vegan household with minimal use of chemicals in and around the house, so our preference would go to other like minded people but it's not a must. It has 3 huge built in wardrobes with full-length mirror. The main bathroom has just been renovated and all totally brand new with a big free standing bath, huge new frameless shower and lots of room with a new vanity and storage. We all work fulltime, love a few drinks and big cook ups on the weekends and spending quality time with friends and family. We have a dog called bear who can be a little shy but is a big softy and loves a cuddle once he gets to know you! He loves his dog mates so if have a furry friend, this wouldn't be an issue. The house has FOXTEL and that is included. Bills not included in the price, internet, electricity etc can be discussed though. There is a huge new washing and dryer in the house too! There is a spare room which we keep empty so If you ever have friends or family needing to stay then it comes in super handy. Hi there! I'm offering a freshly renovated single bedroom to rent. My home is only a very short stroll to the bus stop. From there it's 10min to get to Fremantle and 15min to Garden City in the opposite direction. Also the neighbours include 2 cafe's, a fish and chip shop as well as a liquor store for those enjoying a tipple every now and then. The room isn't generous in size so i'm going to also include as part of the rent, the use of a 2nd adjecent room for storage if extra space is needed. Comes with a single bed but can furnish as required for the right flatmate. Rent includes wifi, gas & water. Sorry but the electricity bill to be split equally. For the active types, its 20min walk to the swan river and heaps of interconnecting cycle paths. There's a really nice park at the end of the street and farmers markets on Sundays at the primary school just beyond that. And Coles/Woollies are very close by.
