We are a working couple who live in our motor home. We are looking for some space on some land, preferably with a shed or garage with power and bathroom facilities. We would park our vehicle and keep living in that. We are experienced house sitters so could watch over your main residence if you go away, many references available on request. Police check also. If this could suit you or if you know of someone else please contact us.
hi my name is Lizzy and I am relocating to the area from Victoria. I am 51 studying Sociology and Criminology, only 7 units til I complete my degree. YAY. I hope to work in the welfare sector on completion. I also have extensive office administration experence and I am a warm, compassionate person who loves to love all aspects of life. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine and love to talk about anything. I am a vegetarian. I love art and love to experiment with different artistic techniques; a very creative person. I am pretty quiet. I have two beautiful dogs who are my besties and they come first ( they are very well behaved and love people). I would need somewhere and someone who welcomes and loves dogs. I would need internet as I will need to complete my course online due to relocation. Anyway if you know of anyone or you think I may fit the bill as a sharehouse buddy, let me know. I have stated four weeks stay but that could be extended. Ideally once I gain some part time employment I would consider relocating. I am very flexible. The 200 $ would have to be all inclusive: ie bills and internet.
This property is only a year or so old with two bedrooms. The deck looks over the Nimbin valley and is west facing so beautiful sunsets every night! It is on a small property owned by the landlord and so is quite rural with few neighbours. Access is by one km of dirt road and its recommended you have a car if you lived here. There is plenty of storage with a massive garage for your car too. It has one large living space with TV, Kitchen and dining area. I also have a beautiful ten year old cattle dog who is friendly and loves people. She lives mostly outside, however sometimes comes in to watch TV. Rent includes: internet (although limited download) and all bills. The room can come furnished or not. It has built in wardrobes. I have a desk with a computer that I would rather keep in the room (tenant can use desk) and can get a bed if required. (At the moment there is a good quality blow up bed).
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing. I don't have any pets of my own but very happy to live with someone who does SO LONG AS they are well trained, cared for, and don't become a burden to me through lack of training and care by their human parents, I would also be particularly intolerant of witnessing any abuse of such pets.
I have lived in the Byron Shire for the past 20 years while my daughter was growing up so now that my daughter has moved away for uni I am seeking to rent in the Byron/Tweed Shire. I work locally (part time) and ideally I am looking for a granny flat/studio to rent however I am also willing to share with a few like minded individuals. I am happy to pay up to $250 p/week however I am also willing to do gardening, child minding/caring, cooking and house keeping in addition or exchange for rent. Warm regards, Dawn
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.

We have two HUGE bedrooms furnished with queen sized beds, and with modern renovated bathroom to yourself. One room to be converted into a lounge/TV room, depending on tenants requirements. All rooms are in a separate wing and divided by a privately screened door - with your own entry and loads of parking space well off the road. Orchard, vegetable gardens to enjoy/potter around in. The property was previously running as B&B, but we're after a permanent tenant now to enjoy this quiet, beautiful space we have to share.
Hi guys, I'm looking for a share house, preference Burleigh Heads, Mermeid, Nobbys and Varsity Lakes, but can be another places as well. I'm Marine Biologist, come here to study and work. I'm easy going and clean. I like train, cook and go to the beach. I'm available to move now, or this week. Please contact me. Cheers!
Hey there I'm Oli. I'm sticking around until the end of July before I leave Australia to travel Japan by motorbike. I love food and I eat plant based, I'm colourful, helpful and enjoy learning from others. I am out and about a lot and am a shift support worker so my hours are all over the place. If you like watching TV in the lounge room every night we probably won't get along as I enjoy social interaction. I ride a motorbike, wakeboard, freedive, hula hoop, skate, am creatively inclined, have lots of great energy to share and travel is my goal by the end of July. In other words... I like to be kept busy. If you think we could be friends and live together please get in touch with me :-)
Update: house remained dry during the flood- highest street in south Lismore. It's a classic old Lismore weatherboard home with a massive backyard. the room is fairly private at the back of the house, and there is a sunroom off to the side which can be turned into a study if needed.
I'm a quiet and reserved person looking to move out of home. I have interests in games, music production and going to the gym. I'd believe myself to be fiscally responsible and considerate of volume levels. I don't drink or smoke and have never been arrested or convicted for any reason.
