Hi There, we have a lovely fully furnished Guest Accommodation at the back of our property. It has a lounge and bedroom combined with a separate bathroom and combined laundry, there is also a food preparation area with a sink. An undercover area with outdoor furniture to sit out under on our many sunny mornings. Also for your use there is a shared clothes line and grassed area which will also be used by us and our very friendly Toy Poodle. A Side entrance with a secure gate with sensor down lights, there is also ample street parking. All of the furniture is very good quality and well looked after such as a Queen size timber bedroom suite with a good quality latex mattress with two bedside drawers, lamps and a tall boy. There are 2 x storage chests and baskets. A large timber cabinet. A two door mirrored robe with shelving, drawers and double hanging. A large wall LCD TV and DVD player. Ceiling fan, exhaust fans, down lights, vertical and double privacy blinds. All linen, appliances, utensils, dinner and glass ware, toaster, kettle and microwave are supplied. Also a heater and dehumidifier. Fully tiled throughout with floor rug. We are approximately 1.3 klms walk to the Beach, close to Local Shops, Medical Center, Pharmacy, Petrol Station, Clubs and Gyms. Our street is the first one in Bellambi and an easy paved walk to the station at the end of the street for a train to the City or Wollongong. Easy access to Memorial Drive which takes approx 10 mins to Wollongong and then just up the road to the University. There is plenty of on street parking. Go for a lovely drive along the coast road and experience the Sea Cliff Bridge up to Stanwell Tops and watch the hang gliders. Or travel south to beautiful Shellharbour for the day, the places to visit are unlimited in the beautiful Illawarra. About us and our expectations. We are hard working, friendly & helpful people but are private and respectful. We are extremely clean and house proud and value our home and furnishings. We are looking for someone of the same mindset. It would be expected that whoever stays there keeps the accommodation and the enclosed outdoor area in a very clean and orderly manner at all times, with regular cleaning of the shower, toilet, vanity, floors, furniture, benches, sinks and outdoor flooring and furniture. This is a non smoking property. And definitely no pets. There is no parking in our driveway at anytime. The water and electricity are included in the accommodation with the realization of not wasting these resources by leaving them running is a must. We're just two young people looking for some housemates who like BBQs, beaches and binge watching TV series. We moved to Wollongong in September last year, but our lease is nearly up and we would like to move out of our little apartment into a place with a bit more space.. We like to get outdoors on the weekends, socialise and also have friends come and stay with us from time-to-time. Room for rent in ground floor 2 bed unit, East Corrimal, 750m from Corrimal train station and directly outside the unit is the number 4 bus stop. Here's what makes this home slightly out of the ordinary, I own two 4 year old, female, indoor-outdoor cats, and I also work three days a week in Sydney, and stay up there Thursday to Monday. So whilst that means you would have the flat to yourself every weekend to relax in, I would ask you to once a day put down food for the cats, and give them a bit of a pat and some love. So, this unit is specifically suited to cat lovers, who like their own peace and quite, but want to share their space with two sweet cuddly loving cats. Room is 3.6m x 2.6m with BIW which I can furnish with a single or double bed if you'd like. (It's not a huge room so if you put say a queen in there there isn't room for too much else). I can also offer a small desk and some drawers if you need, otherwise happy to offer it unfurnished. The furniture is not expensive so the room is the same price furnished or unfurnished. The kitchen is stocked with pots, utensils, fridge, oven, kettle, George Foreman grill, cake tins, slow cooker etc. which you're welcome to use. We have our own washing machine and half laundry inside the unit, in the bathroom, with clothes line out the back. I can provide a clothes airer if you'd like. There will be a couch in the living room, and I've got a largish big screen telly for the living room, though I haven't connected it to commercial stations ever, you can if you'd like to, I usually just use Netflix/Stan which will be provided for you, along with Internet and wifi access. Water is covered in the rent, electricity and gas will be paid separately and split between us. I like a clean place to live, bathroom and kitchen especially, but I don't mind a bit of clutter or untidiness, just not excessive, and not if it interferes with being able to clean. Cleaning would be shared between us, or a cleaner can be employed if we both feel that's a better arrangement. Not a party house, it's in a block of units so any excessive noise would be unacceptable. But definitely I'm wanting to create a warm friendly space. Friends and partners welcome, people staying over is fine, I have a number of friends that travel so would myself have mates to stay on the couch on occasion too. Couples welcome, pets such as cats and dogs not compatible, my two girls don't play well with others I'm afraid. But if you have pets you'd keep in your room I'd consider. The property is nicely shaded by some lovely big trees, and the breeze comes off the ocean right in through to bedroom windows, so it will be a really lovely sanctuary in summer time out of the heat.
