I have 5+ years of perfect tenant history and have been on multiple leases where I have been responsible for paying rent to landlord/property manager - thus I understand exactly the nature of paying rent on time and the importance of budgeting. I am very clean and a mixture of introvert/extrovert so can adjust to any suitable ways you wish to have a housemate. I am a chef so can cook extremely wonderful meals =) by career I am a teacher so very responsible and hardworking I have 1 medium sized dog who is 100% house trained and 100% all love, and 2 guinea pigs who stay in an outdoor hutch =)
Before you read: Don't list your place, get in contact then disappear off the radar, stop fucking with people. Hey! I'm Kelly, 24, full time hairdresser from England and will be returning to Sydney on the 25th of this month and need a private room in a share house (or apartment or whatever!) ASAP. I am open to the location as long as it is easy to commute into the city centre. I'm fun, friendly, easy-going, clean, sociable but respectful of privacy. Looking for a like-minded similar aged flat buddy! Please message me so we can chat if you're interested :)
Its a super charming single storey double fronted terrace with an amazing kitchen, modern bathroom, polished floors, nice backyard and air conditoning. Returning to Sydney after a year of living off the land out in country NSW... maybe not that extreme, but coming back to the city and starting the search for roof over my head :) I'm pretty relaxed and easy to get along with, can be fairly quiet and focused on either work or study, but if I'm in a bit of an energetic mood it's either out scuba diving or catching up with friends (so not making any big ruckus at home) Can be a decent cook when the mood strikes, enjoy a quiet catch-up amongst friends and have been known to binge on Netflix from time to time. I'm not really locked into looking for anything too specific - I'm pretty open to options, though I do have some ideals/preferences in what I'm looking for: * A self-contained studio/apartment/granny flat - I do enjoy my own space, but maybe wishful thinking * Close to public transport - as long as there is an easy route to get to Central, I don't mind a longer train trip * Close to the water - I tend to dive a lot around Cronulla and Botany, so this is a bit of a nice-to-have * Own bathroom - would definitely be a perk There are only 2 points that a critical for me: * Private room * The ability for friends to visit and hang out - I'm not a party-person, but I have noticed some listings that indicate visitors are not welcome at all - I'd like to be part of a home, not a ward. All that said, I'm pretty open to all possibilities :) I'm interested in a long-term home more than a short-term stay, but I'm open to options.

A certified gun at washing dishes. Tidy and respectful. Very easy-going. Likes sport and gym. Financially stable. Consumes beer and scotch. Originally from Sydney. Hoping to find one or two like minded fellas to share with. I'd love to be close to a train station so I can conveniently get into the city for my 9-5.
I'm a bright and friendly fine arts student (formerly student of science/arts), love to ride my bike around and go for walks and weekend adventures. I generally keep my work contained to the studio and leave home as a place to wind down, but still love to create things as much as I can. I'm quiet though still a social creature. Love meeting new people and learning new things about the world.
Hi everyone! My name is James. Coming from a small town in Queensland. I am very clean and well organised, looking to start my career in Sydney. I am very honest, like traveling and socialising. Hopefully looking for a place close to the city.
I'm a doctor working at St Vincent's (from Feb) but mostly office hours with the occasional on-call. I'm British but have permanent residency on Australia. I'm looking for a housemate that could also be a friend. I'm pretty laid back generally - like my quiet nights at home but also love to entertain and have the odd night out. I also want to get a dog so please don't waste your time if that's a no-go for you!
Hello! My name is Ellie and I'm moving to Sydney from Adelaide to study a radio course at AFTRS. I would love to live within cycling distance of the campus (it's in Moore Park). I love gin and tonics, films, avocado on toast, Kate Bush, podcasts, kitchen dance parties, collecting vinyl, sharing meals, making puns, drinking beers and meeting all sorts of new people. I've lived in sharehouses in Adelaide and overseas and know the drill. I'm really easy to get along with and am keen for a friendly, comfortable place to call home (and I always refill the ice cube tray!) Feel free to get in touch if you wanna know more!

Hello, Without sounding like a sad story, I'm looking for a new welcoming home for the next step in my life sadly, my partner and I have decided to separate after 4 years. I come with 2 female cats, both are house trained and desexed. One cat is very sociable, especially with food because she is little fatty and the other tends to keep to herself. I tend to be quiet in the week and tend to go to the gym (I try)! Sometimes I work nights, usually once or twice a week. On the weekend, I like to catch up with friends and have the social drink at the pub. I like to cook and enjoy a wine. I'm an easy going flatmate, friendly and clean.
I'm a relaxed and amenable hombre. Flexible is my middle name. I do work a lot as well as some volunteering. My downtime is predominated by cafes, some gardening, chatting and reading and many other things. I quite like cleaning because I like a clean space. A social fellow with out being reckless, I really enjoy the company of others. Inversely, I do enjoy leaning back in solitude with my Kindle. Hooking into Tai Chi again after spending a while looking after my ailing mum. I'm looking forward to a new residence with new people. I would prefer an unfurnished bedroom.
I'm a relaxed fun loving person who enjoys meeting new friends and being social. I enjoy my own time as well but I'm looking to live with people who also enjoy a chat and a drink sometimes. Week to week I'm not a huge party person, more of a relaxed get together type guy, but I won't shy away from a big night either. I live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle, love the beach and will jump at any opportunity to try something new or go on an adventure. I work full-time in emergency services but when i'm not at work I try not to take things to seriously. My background is in design and I'm still a creative person at heart. I live for good food and coffee and enjoy cooking. Cleaning is no issue and I'm a tidy person. I'm a non smoker and strictly no drugs by me or anyone I live with. I don't have any pets but I love dogs and I'm generally ok with animals as long as they don't destroy the house. At the moment I live in St Peters with my female housemate who is unfortunately moving out due to pug commitments. I'm looking for a change of scenery in a stable living arrangement long term.
Hi my name is Declan and I'm a 21 year old student looking for a room with like minded people. I'm clean, social and dedicated to my studies. I'm looking for something pretty quickly so feel free to get in touch :)
I am a 22 year old newly graduated university student who is currently living at home, working part-time (around 4-6 days a week) in fashion retail. My home lifestyle is simple and quiet, if I am not out. Usually my parents are relatively preoccupied with outside engagements so I try to find as much time as possible to contribute with home chores such as the cleaning and cooking. With a healthy amount of balance in my life that I juggle between social activities / relaxation time / work, I do a routine daily inspection around the home and can always be trusted to immediately stock up on groceries or home utilities / necessities if it is running low for all members of the household to use. Cleanliness and general consideration for all others in the home are qualities I consistently manage to maintain. As a relatively busy, social, and out-going working young person, I like to keep my schedule filled with a variation of leisure activities, or social engagements. My interests are in fashion, films, music, literature and cooking. If I am not reading, writing, or watching films in my room, I have a love for spontaneous outdoor walks, day trips, or mini driving explorations and adventures. Please take into consideration of my several mini talents which could be of use from time-to-time in a shared-home living condition: I make rather good guacamole. I scrub bathroom tiles very meticulously. I am generous with contributions to groceries for the kitchen. I keep immensely quiet during late hours, and very early mornings. Rent will be paid consistently, never late. I have a helpful nature around the home. I am friendly, and polite.
Hi I'm Prageeth. I'm currently working full time in actuarial consulting, however come March I'll be back to full time study and part time work to finish up my final year of university. I'm a really relaxed, clean and fun person to live with. Between work and study I'm pretty busy, but whenever I am home I'm always up for a chat or a beer or two. I enjoy hiking, reading and cooking (would love a place with a big kitchen), but I change my hobbies around every few months to keep it interesting. I would prefer to live with 2-3 other people, but no real preferences other than that. Let me know if you have a place or are interested in teaming up :)
I am a very easy going, friendly guy originally from Canberra . I'm currently in my last year of uni and working part time (full time over the summer) and looking for a room really anywhere in the inner west (honestly not picky at all).
-I'm 27 and from Mumbai. I'm moving out of my home for the first time, so I'm pretty excited (and nervous). I'm a musician and a writer and I will be studying architectural acoustics for two years at USyd. Why you'd like me at your place: -I'm very concerned about hygiene, space, silence, and healthy eating. -I cook (Indian and Continental). -I don't smoke, I do drink occasionally and I do not do any drugs. -I will be working part time too so I will be out most days on weekdays.
I’m a 28 year old gay male, currently working part-time as a dog walker and studying spatial design part-time at UTS. I’m looking for a place where I can sign onto a lease. I am looking for a place I can begin renting over the next few weeks. I’m fairly happy keeping to myself whilst being social at times, and like to keep things neat and tidy. Ideally I’m looking for a home where I can become friends with who I’m living with, but still have my own space in my room. I love to cook, and live a fairly quiet lifestyle in that I’m not out partying and don’t have house parties. I prefer catching up over meals and a few drinks, nothing too big. Living with me is Frankie, my 3 year old dog who I have trained to be a medical assistance dog. She's an awesome dog with a big personality. She goes to uni and work with me, and I'm crate training her so she'll happily settle in a new house. She also loves other dogs.
Easy going and sociable. Interested in other people and trying new things. Currently working at CSIRO and also testing out some ideas with some friends on the side. Have been living in Sydney last 7 months, originally from Canberra. In my leisure time like to exercise, follow/play soccer, listen to music, read and socialise with others in the Sydney tech scene.
My name is Eleanor, I'm currently moving out of my place in Marrickville and am looking to stay in the area. I'm a fully employed, 25 year old lady veteran of share houses in all shapes and sizes. Talents include light conversation and vacuum cleaning.
The available bedroom is large (3.3m x 3.6m), carpeted, and gets a good amount of sunshine throughout the day. All shared living spaces are large, including a massive, leafy backyard, external laundry and shed, as well as a second toilet. And to top it all off, we have a projector for excessively large viewing of mundane tv, or perhaps a good movie. We are in a very convenient location. 2 minute walk to Sydenham Station (both buses and trains), across the road from a supermarket, bottle shop, and 24hr servo. It's also a short walk to both Marrickville and Newtown. Excellent value at $204/week! We will be having an open inspection of our place on Wednesday 18th January, between 6-8pm. If you are interested, please get in contact. Note: Unfortunately we are not seeking couples to move into the room, just individuals.
Close to Everything but nice and quiet. We are 10 mins walk to either Sydenham or St Peters Stations, easy walk to King St (Newtown) and all the restaurants etc or places like live music venue Camelot in Marrickville. Close to buses, Maccas, gym, Marrickville Metro shopping centre etc etc. The house is older, with nice homey feel to it. The rooms are big, with wooden floors and high ceilings. Gas cooking, dishwasher, laundry with some storage in the garage. We are visited by a family of butcher birds for breakfast every morning, enjoy sitting on the front verandah and talking to the neighbours and look over the back fence to a nice green oval. There is another park down the end of the street, cafes nearby. Look forward to sharing it with you.

Hi, I'm Lenka, 26 yrs old British girl working in Recruitment in the city. I'm a permanent resident here and have been in Australia for 3 years. I am very active; rock climbing, acroyoga, diving, hooping, gym and more! I spend probably about half my time at my partner's place in the inner west and am looking to move back to the area because I left to the Eastern suburbs about a year ago and I miss it! When I am home, I love binge watching tv shows or reading a good book with a glass of wine, or painting, drawing and being creative. I'm an avid cook and baker and love doing family dinners and cooking for other people. Cat and dog person even though I come with none of my own. Very sociable, chatty and easy going, I also take huge amount of pride in being clean and tidy and am looking for a long term commitment to a lovely place I can call home.
I tend to keep to myself, usually playing video games or watching shows/movies, I clean up after myself, although I will admit, I stockpile laundry and do it in one big hit. I usually go out most nights and start work early so you quite possibly will rarely see me.
